Hello everyone. This is a small movie story I decided to write since I have a total writer´s block considering my Yugioh Arc-V story that just doesn´t want to end. Anyway, I did had fun writing it and I hope you guys will like it. But make sure you know both original movies before reading this story.
The Incredibles - My version
Bob/Mr. Incredible ( 40 ), Helen/Elastigirl ( 38 ), Violet ( 14 ), Dash ( 10 ), Jack-Jack ( 1 )
... Mr. Incredible sighed in relief once the small flying device of Syndrome missed to find him hidding behind the bones of apparently another super hero. He settled down and looked arround. He was in some sort of underwater cave. Taking a closer look at the skeletton, his expression turned to that of shock as he recognizes the super hero... "Gazerbeam... " Mr. Incredible then noticed something was of with how the deceased fellow super hero was positioned. He followed the gaze and could make out a single word which was carved into the oppsite wall. "Kronos ?"
That´s when he suddenly heard chuckling. "Who´s there ?" He demanded with narrowed eyes.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. It's just so fascinating that you managed to get out of this battle alive." A female voice said. Out from the shadows stepped a young girl, she has long blonde-brownish hair bond into a high ponytail and wears a long sleeved white tunica-shirt with the bottom designed like a short red skirt, a sleevless crimson jacket that goes just a bit over her chest, red leather pants and short brown boots. Wrapped around her neck was a white scarf with a scale pattern. But what was sticking out the most were her eyes. They were golden-yellowish with a black slit pupil, similiar to a dragon´s eyes, and tiny red scales were adorning her eyes like eyeshadow. The nails on her fingers were slightly longer and sharper than by a normal person, and she also has abnormal sharp canines.
Mr. Incredible was more than surprised. "Who... what is a girl like you doing here on this island ?! Do you know how dangerous it is here ?!"
The girl shrugged. "I don´t think it´s that dangerous, I mean, I´m here since two years now and I´m still pretty much alive so..."
"That doesn´t answer my question !" Mr. Incredible snapped back. "Why are you on this island ?! ... Are you an allie of Syndrome ?! " He took on a fighting stance.
"No, I´m not." The girl replied before moving her right hand which then lit up with fire, surprising Mr. Incredible. "As you can see, I have powers myself. I was lured to this island in a similiar way than you were." She let´s the flames around her hand disappear before walking away. "Follow me and I´ll show you some answers to all the questions that might be going through your head right now."
"Why should I trust you ?" Mr. Incredible then asked.
"I´m not asking you to trust me. I´m asking you to listen to me." The girl replied, not stopping. Her voice was serious. "Syndrome is a much more dangerous person than you might think. But if you rather want to storm into his base without a plan and get yourself killed, then be my guest."
Mr. Incredible sighed, then followed her. For some reason he felt he could trust this girl. After a few minutes they were climbing up a wall which lead up to a hole where you could see the night sky. "You... you sure are brave... doing the fighting at such a young age... how old are you, if I may ask ?"
"I recently turned fifteen. On this island however it is just a number. The age doesn´t matter if you´re being hunted down by a super villain that wishes for super heros to go instinct." She replied, and he could hear a sad tone in her voice.
They took their breath for a moment once they reached the top. The girl then guided Mr. Incredible towards the edge of a cliff where you had full view of Syndrom´s base. "We should wait till tomorrow night to sneak in there. That´ll give you time to recover, and for Syndrome to believe you reallly are gone." Mr. Incredible simply nodded before sitting down at a large tree and leaning his back against it.
A bit later, the girl was sitting at a small fire she put up with her powers. She kept an eye on it and a few fish on wodden sticks stuck in the ground around the fire. There was an awkward silence which she decided to break. "I got my powers from my father. He was a hero, just like you." Hearing this made Mr. Incredible look at her. "His name was Crimson Salamander. Maybe you heard of him ?"
His eyes widened a bit at the name. "Yes, I did. I never meet him personally, but he was a true hero. Never really caring about the fame, for him the smiles on the faces of the people he saved were more important."
"I know. But all that changed when super heroes were made illegal." The girl replied. "My father didn´t stop his work though, because the bad guys didn´t. The people of our city never forgot the things my father did, and many sided with the heroes, saying that they were only trying to stop the bad guys. Sadly, it wasn´t enough and many heroes, including my father, and I guess you too, were forced into hidding."
"What happened after that ?" Mr. Incredible asked, sitting down beside her. He wanted to see her face.
"My father couldn´t live like that. Being a hero was his life, the only thing he knew. It was everything to him. The same with his father, and his grandfather. My family has been fighting evil for generations. Our powers are gifts for keeping the peace." She balled her fist. "Which is why... my Dad couldn´t denny the fake offer Sydrome gave him. The though of still being needed..."
"Yeah... I know that feeling." Mr. Incredible said with a sigh.
"My father took me along because he knew I was to follow in his footsteps one day. And I really wanted to learn to be a hero... but shortly after we arrived on the island... we were attacked by a former version of the Omnidroid. We were so stupid !" She waved with her hand sideways, making the fire grow in size a bit. It was like her emotions were reflecting in the flames. "I was forced to hide away while my father fought the robot. He managed to destroy it, but now we were stuck on this island. We spent the next three months trying to figure out a way to escape... we even once tried to sneak into the base and steal one of their jets... but without success. Then one day... Syndrome found us. He attacked us with a new version of his robot and..." She closed her eyes tight. "My father... didn´t make it."
Mr. Incredible looked at her with sadness. "How did you survive ?"
"My powers saved me. My emotions are somehow linked with my powers. Back then it gave me enough strenght to destroy that thing and let it look like I died in the process." The girl then looked up into the sky. "That was two years ago. I didn´t wanted to let my father´s death be for nothing, so I stayed hidden and trained myself with the knowledge my father left me behind. While doing so I had to helplessly watch how Syndrome lured heroes one after another here to his island to kill them using his Omnidroid."
Hearing this caused the mighty super hero to punsh the ground hard. "Do you know why he is doing that ?"
The girl shook her head. "No. I tried a few times getting into his main computer, but he has so many things on... without at least a small clue you will need years to find the right thing."
Mr. Incredible then looked as if he had an idea. "I might have a clue. Back down in the cave, before he died, Gazerbeam carved the word Kronos into the cavewall."
The girl put a finger on her chin. "Hmmm... I think I saw a file with that name once..."
"That´s great. Now we know our next move." Mr. Incredible said, getting up.
"So you don´t mind me coming along ?" The girl asked with a small grin.
"Hearing your story... you seem to be able to look after yourself... so yes, it´s okay." Mr. Incredible replied. "However, should we come across Syndrome, you´ll leave him to me, understood ?"
"Can´t promise that. I waited two years to finally avenge my father and the other heroes, I..." She was cut of by Mr. Incredible holding up his hand. "And they will be avenged. I promise."
The girl nodded, and a smile came to the older hero´s face. "And one more thing... you still haven´t told me your name."
The girl waited for a moment, then returned the smile. "I´m Lia."

Meanwhile on the mainland at Mr. Incredible´s home, his wife Helen ( Elastigirl ), has found traces that makes her question her husband´s behaviour. Finding his old supersuit stitched up frechly, she decides to pay a visit to Eden Mode, a famous fashion designer who secretly also designes suits for super heros. Arriving there, Helen is forced to watch the presentation of her familie´s new-made super suits, not knowing that her husband is in great trouble.

Back on the island it was the next night, and Mr. Incredible and Lia have managed to sneak into the Syndrome´s base, and are now standing in the large dinning room with the wall of flowing lava.
"Normally I wait for either Syndrome or one of his workers to walk through the secret path so I can get in." Lia spoke up.
"We don´t have time to wait." Mr. Incredible replied while looking around. Focusing his gaze on one of the big statues, he had an idea. He went to grab one of them and lift it so that he could push it into the middle of the wall of lava.
Lia looked slightly worried. "I don´t think this is a good idea."
"We won´t know if we don´t try..." He was about to ram the statue into the lava when the wall suddenly begun to open. Mr. Incredible managed to quickly set the statue back down to where it was, and the two hidded behind it as Syndrome´s right-hand Mirage walked out. She looked around thinking she heard something, but then shrugged and walked away. Lia and Mr. Incredible quickly run in as the wall of lava begun to close again. It was a close call, but the got through.
Walking towards the giant holografic screen at the end of the room, Lia sat down in the seat and pushed a button, turning on the screen. She quickly got through the firewalls and then opened the search-bar. She looked up at Mr. Incredible who nodded with a serious expression. Lia typed in the word "Kronos" and pushed the enter-butten. A fter a moment, a file was revealed with four folders named Island Operations, Finances, Omnidroid Metatraining, and Super Heroes.
"Open the folder marked with Super Heroes." Mr. Incredible said, and Lia did so, but what they saw shocked them greatly. It showed pictures of Super Heroes with their names and powers along with pictures of former Omnidroids. The red word "Terminated" flashed over every picture. The more pictures of Super Heroes that went by, the more Mr. Incredible couldn´t believe it.
"I knew a lot of heroes fell victim to him... but I never thought it were that many..." Lia said, the shock vissible in her voice. Then a picture of a familiar man appeared, sending a sting to Lia´s heart. "Dad..."
Mr. Incredible then leaned over aand typed in the name of a female hero... Elastigirl. The system showed a picture of her from fifteen years ago along with informations of her powers, but her whereabouts are unknown. He then typed in the name of Frozone, a hero with the power of ice where the whereabouts are known, but Syndrome seems uninterested with him as Frozone doesn´t want to fight any more.
Typing in his own name, the screen showed a picture of him in younger days, but he was declared dead through the current version of the Omnidroid. "Whenever a hero managed to defeat his robot, Syndrome would just rebuild it with other skills and sent it back out to continue to kill." Lia pointed out.
"But for what ?!" Mr. Incredible snapped in anger.
"Let´s find out." Lia replied before she went deeper into the file where there was informations about something called "Project Kronos". Opening it, it showed Sydnrome´s plan of sending the Omnidroid to the mainland using a rocket, and then the robot is supposed to attack the city. Finally, the screen showed the time until the launch... 12 hours, twenty-five minutes and thrity seconds.
"We have to stop him." Lia said, and Mr. Incredible nodded in agreement, and they both rushed towards the exit. But suddenly, they stopped as something on Mr. Incredible´s suit started flashing and beeping fast. The room lit up with light and an alarm sounded, the words "Intruder Alert" echoing through the room.
Before they could even try to move, wires shot out of the walls on each side, binding both of them. Soon after that, electricity run through the wires, giving them painfull shocks. They both collapsed and slowly but surely begun to lose consciousness. The last thing Mr. Incredible saw was Lia giving him an apologetic look, and then Mirage walking up to them with many guards behind her. Then everything went black.

Meanwhile, Helen was on the way to the island of Nomanisan via a jet. She had a strange feeling and decided to put on her super suit which was just like that of Mr. Incredible, only based for females. However, to her shock and anger, she discoveres that her children Violet and Dash sneaked themselves onto the jet as blind passengers. None of them knew that they soon would be in great danger.

When they wake up, they find themselves restrained by chains while hanging in a strange designed trap. They tried to free themselves, but they couldn´t move one bit. Mr. Incredible then sighed before turning to his right to look at Lia. "I´m sorry I dragged you into this."
"It´s not your fault. It was my very own decision to come here." Lia replied gently. The door to the cell then opened and Syndrome walked in, followed by Mirage who sat down at a control pannel while Syndrome approached the captive heroes.
"Hello there, Lia. I didn´t expected you to still be alive." Syndrome said with his usual atidue, earning a glare from the young hero. "Maybe I´m not as easy to kill as you might think." Lia said back.
"I´ll look forward to test that out later." Syndrome replied with a small chuckle before turning to Mr. Incredible. "You sure can be an unpredictable one, you know. I mean, hiding from the scanner behind the bones of another super hero... that is... oh man ! Now I remember why I loved you so much back in the old days !" He said with excitement, but then frowned. "And yet, here you are. Sneaking into my base, finding out about my plan, and then being too afraid to face me alone and instead send out a call for help ! How pathetic !" He snapped his fingers which was a signal for Mirage. She turned a dial and Mr. Incredible received a painful electric shock.
"Didn´t know about the homing device." Mr. Incredible said while trying to catch his breath.
Syndrome sighed. "Fine. But then why is there a government plane requesting for premission to land here ?!" He snapped his fingers and the bound hero got another painful shock.
"I didn´t... call for help." Mr. Incredible groaned.
"Play the transmission." Syndrome ordered to Mirage and she pressed a button and a recording played. ("India Golf niner-niner checking in. VFR on top. Over.") A female voice spoke, and Mr. Incredible seemed to recognize who it was and his eyes widened in surprise. "Helen ?" He gasped.
"So you do know them." Syndrome smirked and walked up to the control panels. "In that case, I´ll send them a little greeting." He pressed a red button, causing Mr. Incredible´s eyes to widen with worry.
There then was a cold silence in the room, which was then cut by a cry from the transmitter. ("Indian Golf niner-niner transmitting the blind guard. Disengage ! Repeat, disengage !") Helen´s voice exclaimed through the transmitter.
"No ! Call of the missiles ! I´ll do anything !" Mr. Incredible cried desperately.
"To late. Fifteen years to late." Syndrome sneered darkly.
("Mayday ! Mayday ! Indian Golf niner-niner is buddy-spiked ! Abort ! There are children aboard ! Repeat ! There are children aboard !") Helen cried out, causing Lia and even Mirage to freeze with fear.
"NO !" Mr. Incredible cried in horror.
("Abort ! Abort ! Abort !") Helen´s desparate cry echoed through the room. ("Abort ! Abort ! Abort !") ... Then the transmitter buzzed. The conection was lost.
"We have a comfirmed hit. Target was destroyed." Mirage reported, much to Mr. Incredible´s sorrow.
"Ah, you´ll get over it. I seem to recall you prefer to work alone." Syndrome said slyly and laughed evily.
"You sick bastard !" Lia suddenly yelled, making everyone in the room to look at her. "How far do you have to go until you´re satisfied ?!"
Syndrome replied to that by moving the dial on the control panel. Lia then cried in pain as the shock of electricity hit her body. "Don´t feel too bad. Whoever they were, you´ll soon join them in their endless sleep." Syndrome said before he left while laughing. Mirage took a glance at the two captive heroes before leaving as well.
Lia was breathing in and out while the pain in her body slowly withdrew. She then looked up with a determined expression. She grapped hold of the chains binding her arms while her body begun to be surrounded by fire. With one cry she then was able to crush the chains and she fell down onto her knees. Breathing in and out, the fire around her body disappeared again and she stood up, looking at her hand. "Flames of emotion huh ? Thank you, father." She quickly went over to Mr. Incredible. "Hang on. I´ll get you out then-"
"No." The man in front of her whispered, not looking up.
Lia thought she didn´t hear right. "What ?"
"I said no... no more fighting... I don´t want anymore." Mr. Incredible simply said.
Lia gave him an understanding expression. "I know how you feel. It hurts. I went through that too when I lost my father... my only family... but we can´t give up now. We can´t allow Syndrome to continue with his plan."
Mr. Incredible raised his head to look at her, his face full of sorrow. "I´m sorry, Lia... but I don´t want anymore. I no longer have any reason to keep fighting. Everything I ever loved... is gone. If you want to have a future, then try to get off of this island alive."
Sighing, Lia took a few steps back. "I´m sorry..." She said with a regretful expression before running towards the door. She stopped for a moment she heard him crying... then she left.

In the next night, Lia was walking through the jungle, with no idea what to do next. She was strong, but still young and inexperienced. "What should I do now ?" She asked herself, kicking away a sall rock in frustration. That´s when she suddenly heard something coming from the shore below. Kneeling down and carefully moving away some big leafs, Lia could see three people down on the shore, a woman and two children. All of them were wearing outfits completely identical to that of Mr. Incredible. Lia couldn´t believe it. "No way... Mr. Incredible´s family... they survived."
Lia followed them to a cave. She positioned herself on a tree branch near the entrance to the cave and let her sensitiv hearing eavesdrop on the conversation inside. Helen was explaining the current situation to her children Violet and Dash. She also was telling her kids to use their powers to protect themselves while she was out to rescue their father. Helen then ran out of the cave, but was stopped by her daughter who wanted to apologize for something that happened on the plane. Helen just put it aside, apologizing for demanding so much of her little girl so suddenly. She encourages her daughter that she is stronger than she thinks before running of to save Mr. Incredible. Violet looked at the black mask in her hand for a moment before putting it on with a determined expression.
"I guess, Mr. Incredible will soon be in action again. Until then, I might as well keep an eye on his kids." Lia said with a smile.

During the rest of the night, Lia watched how Syndrome´s project Kronos started, with his Omnidroid being launched towards the mainland via a rocket that shot out of the volcano. Violet and Dash bearly made it out of the cave as a stream of fire from the launch of the rocket shot through the cave which had a direct conection to Syndrome´s base.
As the next morning arrived, trouble was in the air. Dash just woke up, only to find a strange blue bird sitting on a tree not to far away. He quickly woke up his sister to show her the strange talking bird, but his sister got a strange feeling after hearing what the bird said. ("Voice key, incorect") It repeated three times before soundly bursting out into an alarming sound which made Lia shot up from her sleep with a start.
Violet knew they were in trouble and so urged her brother to follow her deeper into the jungle. The robot bird was following them and soon, the kids were surrounded by Syndrome´s guards. However, despite never having used their powers in such a situation before, both Dash and Violet managed to overhelm the guards, surprising, and at the same time, impressing Lia.
When a guard then atempted to shot Dash, his sister jumped before him and created a force field around them, shielding them from the bullets. Dash then used his super speed to make the force field move like a large bowling ball. The force field was strong enough to deflect the circula designed flying weapons and making them smash onto the ground and explode.
At the same time, Elastigirl ( Helen ) managed to free Mr. Incredible, and now they were both running through the jungle in a hurry to find their kids. Hearing an explosion, they both stopped and looked around, only to end up colliding with their kids still inside the moving force field. Realizing what just happened, Violet let the force field disappear, and the family hugged each other, relieved and happy to be together again. Seeing this made Lia smile.
Sadly, the happy moment was cut short as more of Syndrome´s guards appeared, but the family took confident battle stances. However, noticing some of Syndrome´s bigger helicopters coming towards them, Lia decided to step in. She jumped down from a nearby tree and landed in front of the family. "Mind if I join in ?" She smirked at the guards in front of her while rearing her right arm back, her fist lighting up with flames. "Claw of the Fire Dragon !" She slammed her fist into the ground, causing a shockwave of flames to erupt from the ground and collide with the guards, causing them to be thrown backwards while screaming in pain.
It didn´t stop there as there were now numerous helicopters hovering above them. They aimed their guns and fired large streams of fire directly onto Lia.
"Lia !" Mr. Incredible shouted while he and his family watched in horror as the fire enveloped the teenage girl. He may have not have known the girl very well, but she seemed really brave and friendly. He didn´t wanted her to die like this.
"Bob ! We have to do something !" Elastigirl cried out, but that´s when suddenly the sound of swallowing emanating from the flames. The fire was pulled inwards, spiralling right into Lia´s mouth ! Mr. Incredible was spechless, Elastigirl´s jaw dropped, and the kids simply watched in awe and interest.
Lia finished the last flames and wiped her mouth. "Now I´ve got a fire in my belly." She grinned.
"Are you... okay ?" Mr. Incredible asked.
"I´m fine. I still want to avenge my father and the other super heroes... so I have to fight." Lia replied before taking in a deep breath. "Let´s end this. Fire... Dragon´s... ROAR !" She let a torrent of orange and red flames burst from her mouth and sweep over the helicopters, causing them to explode.
"Wow." Was all the family behind her could say. Lia smiled at them before going down onto her knees and breathing in and out. The tiny red scales around her eyes vanished while her nails shrunk back to normal length and her eyes became normal blue eyes.
"Okay... So this is how you normally look ?" Mr. Incredible asked. Lia nodded and stood back up. "I´ll explain later. Right now we have to go before-" She didn´t get to finish as a pulse of zero point energy shot through them, paralyzing them completely. "...that happens..." She groaned.
"Seems like I hit the jackpot here." Syndrome said with a smirk as he walked up to them.

Lia and the Incredibles were hanging in another one of Syndrome´s traps while Syndrome himself was flipping through different news reports on a screen which showed his Omnidroid in the city known as Metroville. "Huh ? Huh ? Oh, come on. You gotta admit this is cool !" Syndrome started, getting all excited as he explained his plan. "Just like a movie ! The robot will emerge dramatically, do some damage. Lots of screaming people ! And when all hope is lost, Syndrome will appear to save the day ! I´ll be a bigger hero than you ever were !" He spat the last part at Mr. Incredible.
"You mean you killed of real heroes so you could... pretend to be one ?!" Mr. Incredible shouted back with rage, causing Syndrome to look insulted. "Oh, I´m real. Real enough to defeat you ! And I did it without your precious gifts, your oh-so special powers ! I´ll give them heroics. I´ll give them the most spectacular heroics anyone has ever seen ! And when I´m old and I´ve had my fun, I´ll sell my inventions so that everyone can be superheroes. Everyone can be super. And when everyone´s super... no one will be." Syndrome said while laughing as he left the room and made his way towards his jet.
One the doors closed, Lia tried to grab onto the chains holding her in hope to be able to break them again like she did earlier, but she immediately withdraw her fingers, noticing that the chains were covered in high electricity this time. She sighed. "I´m sorry. Seems like I can´t break free as easy as yesterday."
"Oh no. It´s fine. You tried." Elastigirl said gently.
"I´m sorry too. This is my fault. I´ve been a lousy father. Blind to what I have. So obsessed with being undervalued that I undervalued all of you.." Mr. Incredible then spoke up, and you could see that he was feeling bad. Violet meanwhile was using her powers to form a force field around herself. It worked, and allowed her to fly out of the trap like it was nothing. Both Dash and Lia noticed that. "Um Dad ?" Dash started, but his mother shuched him. "Don´t interupt."
"So caught up in my past that I ... You are my greatest adventure. And I almost missed it. I swear, I´m gonna get us out of this safely, even if I have to..."
"Well, I think Dad has made some excellent progress today, but I think it´s time we wind down now." Violet said, then moved to push the release-button. The others fell down and the chains were removed.
Shortly after, the group of five was running through one of the hallways of the large base. "We need to get back to the mainland." Mr. Incredible said.
"I saw an aircraft hangar on my way in. Straight ahead, I think." Elastigirl replied.
Soon they reached a locked door which Mr. Incredible forced open. "Where are all the guards ?" He asked while the others peaked out. "Go, go !" He whispered and they ran in, letting the door shut behind them. Lia noticed the van and quickly tapped Mr. Incredible on the shoulder. He turned to her and she pointed to the van. He nodded to her and they all sneaked over to the van. Inside, a few guards were celebrating their leader´s plan, one of them laughing and opening a vine-bottle. However, he gasped as he saw that Mr. Incredible stood their and had caught the cork with one hand. He smriked and shut the door. The van shook as he overhelmed the guards, then opened the door and gave a whistle, all clear. They then ran past the van and deeper into the hangar.
"This is the right hangar, but I don´t see any jets." Elastigirl said, looking around.
"A jet wouldn´t be fast enough." Lia replied.
"What´s faster than a jet ?" Elastigirl asked.
"Hey, how about a rocket ?" Dash asked, getting everyone´s attention. They run over to him and sure enough there was a rocket. "Great... I can´t fly a rocket." Elastigirl said.
"Well, you don´t have to. Just use the coordinates of the last launch." Violet suggested.
"That´s a good idea, Violet. Hey Lia, do you think you can hack into Sydrome´s computer once more ?" Mr. Incredible said, but to his and his family´s surprise, Lia was no longer there. "Where did she go ?"
That´s when all of a sudden, a flashlight landed on them while numerous weapons appeared from the ceiling and pointed at them. "I think this is as far as you all go." A female voice sounded over a loudspeaker. The family looked up to see Mirage standing at the windows of the control room. "No one of you move and you won´t get hurt."
"Well, actually, I think it´s you who shouldn´t move." A female voice said, and Mirage tensed up with wide eyes as she felt Lia´s sharp nails at her neck.
"How did you... ?" Mirage stuttered, only for Lia to grin. "I sensed something and went to check it out. And now, your game is over." With that, Lia knocked Mirage out and handcuffed her to a pole before sitting down at the large control pannel. She deactivated the weapons before opening the program connected to the rocket. "Okay. Let´s see what we have here."

After a few minutes, Lia run up to the Incredibles who came up with the idea of using the van as the core of the rocket allthough Elastigirl would have to use her body to connect the van to the aircraft. "The rocket is ready to launch. With it you guys will be in Metroville in twenty minutes."
"Us... and you." Mr. Incredible said with a serious expression.
"You can´t be serious." Lia replied.
"Didn´t you say that you wanted to follow in your father´s footsteps ?" Mr. Incredible asked.
"I... I know what I said when we met... but now... I don´t have a home... my parents are gone..." Lia stuttered, feeling really uncertain. "What should I do... where should I go ?"
"Lia... Superheroes are still illegal. Even if we manage to defeat the Omnidroid and stop Syndrome... there is no guarantee that the law will change." Elastigirl pointed out.
"You have the choice, Lia. You can either stay here and wait until the government will come here and find you, and then sent you to who knows where..." Mr. Incredible said before laying his hand on the young teen´s shoulder. "Our you can come with us and be a hero... the hero your father wanted you to be." He smiled at her.
Lia looked at them for a moment, then nodded. "Okay." Both adults smiled and nodded back. Elastigirl then gave her something. A black mask like theirs. "Here, put that on. You´re identity is the most important thing. You have to protect it."
Lia nodded and put the mask on before she joined the siblings inside the truck. She sat down and Dash quickly took the seat next to her. "Don´t mind me beautiful." He smirked only for Lia to move closer to the window.
"Ignore him." Violet said as she sat down across from them, earning a glare from her brother. They rocket soon took of and an awkward silence filled the air.
"So... um... what exactly are your powers ?" Dash asked Lia, breaking the silence.
"Well... as you were able to see earlier... I have fire powers. But no ordinary ones." Lia said, trying to find the right words as explaining her powers was not easy. "Believe it or not, but legend says that my family once gained their powers over the different elements... from real dragons. My powers allow me to gain all attributes of an elemental dragon. In my case, that of a fire dragon. The sensitive hearing, a good nose... dragon-lungs to eat and breath fire... dragon-claws to attack with fire... and dragon-skin to withstand fire and extreme heat. What you saw back there when I was fighting the guards... my yellow dragon-eyes... the sharp nails, and the red scales around my eyes... it´s a weaker form of a special... mode we can enter... it´s called Dragon Force. In this form we gain the actuall strenght of a dragon. However, I´m nowhere near that form. I´m still quite young and inexperienced, but I hope to one day master my powers and be a real hero."
Both Violet and Dash starred at her with their jaws dropped. Lia held up her hands with a shy smile. "What ? I said right of the start that it´s something hard to believe."
There then was a sudden bursting sound as the rocket separated from the black jet-like core part which was now gliding towards the city in the distance. Elastigirl was outside on the top of the truck, using her body as chains to hold it to the jet.
Inside, Dash was getting bored. "Are we there yet ?"
"We get there when we get there." Mr. Incredible replied, clearly frustradet. He then opened the window of the driver´s side, causing the strong wind to blow through the truck´s inside. "How are you doing, honey ?!" He yelled.
"Do I have to answer ?!" A female voice cried back, causing Lia to flinch a bit. She really didn´t want to be in Elastigirl´s shoes right now. But on the bright side, the city was getting closer and closer.
"Kids ! Strap yourselves down like I told you !" Mr. Incredible said, and the three kids moved to the seats of the control pannel and buckle-up. He then leaned out of the window once more. "Here we go, honey !" He closed the window and looked over his shoulder. "Ready, Violet ? ... ready... now !" At the command, Violet slammed her hand onto the red button, causing the black jet-like part to split, and Elastigirls climbed through the passenger window onto the passenger seat.
"This is gonna be rough !" Mr. Incredible warned, and the truck crashed right onto the road. Lia yelped slightly as they drove through the crowded highway at a great speed. She then decided to take a look out the window, ignoring the adults in the front who were arguing about which way to go. Metroville is really a nice city... minus the giant killer-robot that was attacking.
She was then pulled out of her thoughts as the truck is being flipped over and rolling through a street. Finally landing in a parallel parking space with a bang. Huh, convenient. "Is everyone okay back there ?" Mr. Incredible asked, looking over his shoulder.
"Super duper Dad." Violet replied, trying not to laugh.
"I´m alright." Lia assured him. "Let´s do that agin." Dash said, laughing.
The moment was cut short when they saw the Omnidroid pass by, followed by many screaming people. "Wait here and stay hidden. I´m going in." Mr. Incredible announced and left the truck, quickly followed by Elastigirl. "While what ? I watch helplessly from the sidelines ? I don´t think so." She said sternly, walking up to him. The kids went to the door of the truck to watch them.
"I´m asking you to wait with the kids." Mr. Incredible said.
"And I´m telling you, not a chance. You´re my husband. I´m with you better or worse." She says, placing a hand on his cheek.
"I need to do this alone." Mr. Incredible said sternly.
"What is this to you ? Playtime ?"
"No."
"So you can be Mr. Incredible again ?"
"No !"
"Then what ? What is it ?" Elastigirl asked, getting frustrated.
"I´m not... not strong enough..." Mr. Incredible stuttered, not really knowing how to explain it.
"Strong enough ? And this will make you stronger ?"
"Yes... NO !"
"That´s what it is to you ? A workout ?!"
"I can´t lose you again !" He finally exclaimed, grabbing his wife tightly. Then he lowered his head. "I can´t. Not again. I´m not... strong enough." He said quietly. Elastigirl then pulled him into a passionate kiss and they embrace.
"If we work together, you don´t have to be." She says once they break the kiss.
"I don´t know what´ll happen." Mr. Incredible replied, sounding unsure.
"Hey. We´re super heroes. What could happen ?" Elastigirl asked back, unly to be starteled by her daughter´s scream. The three kids ran out of the truck only for the Omnidroid to destroy it. They tried to run away but the robot´s leg came down right in front of them, preparing a next attack.
"Vi, Dash NO !" Elastigirl cried in horror. Lia and Dash braced for the impact, but it never came. Looking up they noticed that Violet had put up a force field to protect them. The Omnidroid tried to destroy it with its leg but couldn´t penetrate it. Moving to the side, it then used its full body wieght to crush the force field, resulting in it to break and Violet to collapse. "Violet ?" Dash moved closer to his sister worriedly. The Omnidroid prepared to strike again but was stopped by Mr. Incredible holding it up.
"Dad !" Dash cried with relief.
"Go, go !" Mr. Incredible urged and Elastigirl grabbed Violet and pulled her out. Dash and Lia followed close behind and they went behind a nearby building.
"I´m okay Mom, really." Violet assured her mother as she was set down.
"You kids stay here !" Elastigirl told them sternly before running back into the action.
Mr. Incredible at the same time recovered from being thrown into a building and he charged at the robot, successfully pushin it onto the ground. He then was happy to see his old friend Frozone to enter the battle. Using his powers over ice, Frozone tried to immobilize the Omnidroid´s arms, but the robot easily broke the ice apart.
Eventually, Mr. Incredible found the remote Syndrome used to control the robot. "Syndrome´s remote !" He cried happy, only to end up being picked up by the robot. He pressed numerous buttons on the remote, ending up separating the arm from the main body and causing him to land hard on the ground.
"The remote controls the robot !" Violet exclaimed in realization.
"Then let´s go help them out !" Lia said back before running towards the battle. "Dash ! Try to get the remote, but be careful not to get cruched !"
"On it !" Dash yelled back, running to the back of the robot. "Dad ! Throw it ! Throw it !" He shouted to his father who finally saw him.
"Go long !" Mr. Incredible launched the remote into a far distance with Dash quikly running after it. The Omnidroid but its attention on him, shotting lasers at him to stop him.
"Honey ! Take out its guns !" Mr. Incrdible yelled to his wife before getting blasted away. Elastigirl however, got the message and went over to a sewage plate. She got it up and laucnhed it like a disk, destorying the gun on the robot´s head.
Dash meanwhile got the remote. Lia saw that and nodded before charging at the robot. She lit her right fist up in flames and jumped up. "Claw of the Fire Dragon !" She slammed her fist onto its round body, but it didn´t do any damage so she jumped back. The Omnidroid then changed into a ball and went rolling towards her. Lia managed to jump out of the way, but then she saw it heading towards Dash. "Look out, Dash ! It´s coming for you !" She yelled.
Frozone came up to Dash and got him on his back. He skatted along his self-created ice road, trying to escape the Omnidroid who was getting closer. It then changed back onto its normal form and jumped into the sea, causing a huge wave of water which Frozone quickly turned to snow to allow Dash to land safely. Sadly, he lost grip on the remote which landed on the other side of the street. Mr. Incredible tried to grab it, but the robot was fast in interfering. It shot of one of its claws which slammed into the strong hero and sent him crashing to the ground far away from the remote. Elastigirl then stretched herself in front of the robot´s feet while Frozone freezed the ground under it, causing the Omnidroid to fall to the ground. This allowed Violet to turn invisible and grab the remote.
"Mom ! I got it ! I got the remote !" She said as she ran up to the others.
"A remote ? A remote that controls what ?" Frozone asked while Violet pressed some buttons. One of them causing the robot to fly right into a building. "The robot ?!" Frozone asked in disbelief.
"It´s coming back !" Dash cried as the robot got back up. He snatched the remote from his sister and pushed another button, but nothing happened. "That wasn´t right..."
"Give me that !" Violet snatched the remote back and tried a few more buttons. Still nothing.
"Alright. Give it to me." Elastigirl said, grabbing the remote. "Lucius, try and buy us some time."
"On it." Frozone ran towards the Omnidroid and tried to slow it down by blokcing its path with a wall of ice. But the robot broke through it like it was nothing. Lia gritted her teeth before she ran towards a building next to the robot. She used the wall as a springboard. Her right leg lit up with flames. "Fire Dragon´s Talon !" She slammed her leg into the Omnidroid, sending him staggering back a bit.
The Omnidroid didn´t waited to get payback. It swung one of its arms which collided with Lia and sent her flying back wards. Thankfully, Mr. Incredible managed to catch her, but the force sent him landing on his back. "Oww... are you okay ?" Mr. Incredible asked, getting up slowly.
"Yeah... my body can endure such blows..." Lia groaned as she rubbed her left side. She looked down at herself and noticed her scarf was nearly torn in half due to the robot´s sharp claws, making her curse slightly, then she looked up at the robot who continued its way through the walls of ice Frozone creates. "With my current strength, not even my flames can damage that thing."
"Back on the island, it even didn´t melt when I threw it into a lava pit. The only thing strong enough to penetrate it is..." He then gasped as he looked at the claw laying on the side. "...itself." He said in realization.
He lifted the claw up which suddenly begun to ignite its rocket-boost, giving Mr. Incredible a hard time to hold onto it. "Honey !" He yelled towards his wife who was still pressing buttons on the remote. The drive then stopped again. "Press that button again !" He yelled, and Elastigirl did, but it only caused the claw to start spinning. "No ! The other one ! The... the first one !"
"First button, got it !" Elastigirl yelled back, preparing to push the button.
"It´s getting closer !" Dash cried out.
"Get out of here kids ! Find a safe spot !" She urged.
"We´re not going anywhere !" Violet said back firmly.
"Right. This is our fight too !" Lia added as she run up to them.
"What are you waiting for, Helen ?! Press the button !" Mr. Incredible shouted as the robot broke through another ice wall and was now dangerously close to his family.
"It needs to get closer ! You only got one shot !" She cried back.
The Omnidroid then was right in front of them. It was now or never. She pressed the button. "Everyone duck !" Mr. Incredible yelled before letting go of the claw which shot towards the robot. They all ducked as it flew over their heads before slammed right through the Omnidroid´s body, causing it to slowly collapse into the water and explode.
Lia quickly went over to eat the flames before they could hurt someone or cause any more damage. She looked to the others. "Tastes like a victory." She joked with a wink causing the others to chuckle. Soon, many people came out from their hiding spots and started clapping for them.
"Just like old times." Frozone said.
"Just like old times." Mr. Incredible replied, hitting the other hero on the back.
"Yeah... hurt then too..." Frozone laughed slightly while moving his aching back a bit.
Elastigirl smiled at the scene before noticing that Lia was starring at her ripped scarf with a very sad expression. She walked over to the young teen and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I think we know someone who can fix this." She said gently and Lia nodded.
"Before that, we have something to talk about." A new voice said, causing everyone to turn around. Standing there was non other than agent Rick Dicker.

A bit later, the Incredibles and Lia were sitting with agent Dicker in a black government limo. "We´ve frozen all of Syndrome´s assets. If he even sneezes, we´ll be there with a hanky and a pair of handcuffs. The people of this country are indebted to you." Dicker said, pleased with their work.
"Does this mean we can come out of hiding ?" Mr. Incredible asked hopefully.
"Let the politicians figure that one out. But I´ve been asked to assure you we´ll take care of everything else. You did good, Bob." Dicker smiled, then turned to Lia. "Now, about your young friend..."
"She stays with us." Mr. Incredible said firmly and without any hesitation. That caught Lia off guard, and by the looks on Dicker´s face, she wasn´t the only one. "Pardon ?" Dicker asked.
"Lia lost her father thanks to Syndrome and had to fight alone to survive on that island for two years... yet she protected us and even risked her life to help us defeat the Omnidroid... she´s not going back into hiding alone. She belongs with us." Mr. Incredible said, wrapping an arm around the fifteen year old.
"Are you sure ? I... I don´t want to be a burden for you-" Lia said, but Violet interupted her by grabbing her hand.
"You´re not going to be a burden. And it would be nice to have another girl around." Violet said with a smile.
Lia thought about it for a moment, then she returned the smile. "Alright."
Dicker smiled as well. "It seems that she´s better off with you all. I´ll make sure to get the needed paperwork done within the next days."
"Thanks Dicker." Mr. Incredible said. Meanwhile, Elastigirl was checking her messages about her youngest child, Jack-Jack.
"That was so cool when you threw that car !" Dash exclaimed excitedly.
"Not as cool as you running on watter." Mr. Incredible replied. Then he turned to his daughter and noticed something that made him smile. "Hey. You´re wearing your hair back."
"Ah... yeah." Violet said, blushing slightly.
"It suits you." Mr. Incredible said and Violet smiled. "Thanks Dad."
"And when Mom and Dad aced those guys that tried to kill us ! That was the best vecation ever ! I love this family !" Dash sighed dramatically as he fell on the limo seat. Violet and Lia laughed at his antics.
"Here we are." Dicker said as the limo stopped in front of the house of the Incredibles. But... Elastigirl seemed highly concerned. "Replacment ? I didn´t call a replacment !" She said and they all ran out of the limo and straight into the house... only to find Syndrome holding Jack-Jack. They gasped and Syndrome turned around in a flash and froze them with zero point energy. "Shhhh... the baby´s sleeping." He said and started laughing. "You took away my future. I´m simply returning the favor. Oh, don´t worry. I´ll be a good mentor. Supportive, encouraging... everything you weren´t. And in time, who knows, he might make a good sidekick." With that he slammed them into the wall that separated the kitchen from the living room. "Ha, ha !" He then blasted the roof off before flying through it with a screaming Jack-Jack.
"He´s getting away, Bob ! We have to do something ! We have to do something now !" Elastigirl cried in fear and they all rushed back out and looked up into the sky where Syndrome was flying towards his black jet which was hovering above the house.
While the superheroes on the ground tried to figure out how to save the baby without putting him into danger, they were unable to notice that Jack-Jack suddenly unleashed super powers of his own. First erupting in flames, surprising Syndrome, then turning into metal, nearly making Syndorme fall. Finally, Jack-Jack turned into some sort of red monster that begun choking Syndrome before climbing onto his head and ripping out some of his hair. Eventually, it was to much for Syndrome and he collided with the underside of his jet and letting go of Jack-Jack.
Elastigirl saw this and ordered her husband to throw her towards him. She catched him and then made herself become a parachute. Syndrome then begun to swear to come back for revenge, only for Mr. Incredible to throw his new car towards the jet. The front of the jet was ripped of upon impact and Syndrome was thrown into his jet´s turbine. His cape got stuck in the rotating blades and he was sucked in, causing the jet to explode. Mr. Incrdible quickly grabbed his family to protect them as the flaming fragments of the jet crashed onto the house, destroying it completely in another huge explosion. However, they were saved by Violet who put up a force field around them.
"That´s my girl." Elastigirl said with a proud smile, making Violet smile as well.
"Does this mean we have to move again ?" Dash asked, only to be pulled into a hug bis his father who chuckled. "Hehe... yeah."

The next day, the Parr-family had taken Lia to their friend Edna Mode. Lia was surprised upon seeing her. She was short, but Bob said she was a god when it came to fashion.
"Darlings, you´re back ! After seeing you on the news I was hoping you would come by !" Edna exclaimed as the six walked through the front door.
"It´s good to see you too, Edna, but we were hopping you could fix something for our friend." Helen said as she gently moved Lia forward who showed Edna her nearly torn is half scarf.
Edna´s eyes widened a bit. "What happened to that."
"Sacrificed itself in the battle against that giant killer-robot." Lia said and Edna took it from her hands and examined it. "Hmmm... wait a minute... this is familiar... I made this, but not for hero work. Where did you get it from ?"
"It once belonged to my father. He gave it to me, saying it would protect me when he couldn´t. His superhero name was Crimson Salamander." Lia explained with a small smile and Edna gasped.
"Oh darling, I can´t believe I didn´t see it before. You look exactly like your mother. Father´s eyes of course." She said then grabbed Lia´s hand. "Come with me."
Lia yelped slightly. "Oh I don´t know if... whoa !" She was dragged by the fashion designer into a secret room and the Parr-family followed. Edna told her to extent her arms to the side. "Um... what are you doing ?" Lia asked nervously.
"I´m making you a suit darling what else ?" Edna replied simply as she stood on a stool and measured the length of Lia´s arms before writing them down and going to her waist circumference.
"Yeah, how else are you supposed to fight with us ?" Dash said with excitment.
"Well... I just never thought about it before." Lia replied, still a bit nervous.
Edna smiled. "That´s because you never met me darling. Now, what do you want for your suit ?"
Lia thought for a moment then smiled. "Actually, it might be easier to just show you." Edna nodded and handed her a sketch book and some pencils. Lia begun her work, and after a few minutes showed it to everyone. It was a detailed sketch. A long sleeved black undershirt, a red overcoat with plates on the shoulders with yellow outlines, short fingerless black gloves, white pants, a blue cloth belt and black combat boots. Finally, her scarf for around the neck. "Impressive work...yeah, I think that might work." Edna commented as she then took the sketch book. "Is there anything else I should know ?"
"Well, it definitely needs to be fire-proof because of my powers... it should be able to withstand a lot... yet I don´t know what the symbol should be.." Lia said while rubbing her head a bit.
Edna went over to a bookshelf and pulled out another sketch book. She flipped through a few pages... "How about this ?" She asked and Lia took a look at the choosen page. It was her father´s old symbol. Two crimson snake-dragons with blue eyes, shaped like the letters C and S .
Lia smiled happily. "It´s perfect."
Edna smiled satisfied. "You come back in a week darling. We´ll have a fitting then."
Lia nodded and Dash came up to her. "So, what´s your superhero identity going to be ?"
Lia smiled at him. This wasn´t hard to decide. "Crimson Slamander. I will continue the legecy of my family."
Three months later...
Quite a bit happened within tha past three months. Syndrome was dead and Lia´s father and the other heroes he killed were avenged, Mirage and everyone else working for Syndrome was put behind bars for a long, long time.
Lia was slowly settling in with living with the Parrs. She was getting along with them pretty well and even seemed to have gained a new sister and two new brothers in Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack.
Returning to be a normal girl wasn´t easy regarding the two years she spent licing on that island. But everyone... her new family... their friends... the teachers at school... supported her as much as they could. It´ll take a bit, but sooner or later, Lia will start to accept and love this new chance of life.
Right now they were at a stadium where the city´s elementry school´s track finals were taking place, and Dash was taking part at it. He was getting ready and waved to his family who set on one of the higher benches. Lia, who now wore a red hodded sweater, blue jeans and black sneakers, noticed Violet speaking to a boy, and by the looks of it, got a date. Violet then joined her family and Lia smiled. "He seemed nice." She whispered, causing Violet to flinsh and blush a bit before she nudged Lia playfully.
The race then started and there was a lot of cheering. Somehow, Bob managed to get the message to his son that he should aim for second place, which he did. A bit later, the family was on the way to their car with Dash prodly holding his trophy while sitting on his father´s shoulders.
However, they stopped when the earth suddenly begun to shake and people started screaming. Seconds later, a giant drill burst out from the ground, and a man came up through the top with a microphone in hand. "Behold the Underminer ! I am always beneath you, but nothing is beneath me ! I hereby declare war on peace and happiness ! Soon all will tremble before me !" He cried out, but little did he know that there were a few special people who could fight back.
"Shall we teach him a lesson ?" Lia asked Bob while her eyes turned into her yellow dragon-eyes, her nails and canines sharpening. Bob smiled at her before turning to the rest of his family who already put on their black masks with determined expressions. Bob then too put on his mask before he unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his super suit.
