Honestly I hated this part of the Night Shift, why couldn't we all just walk in at the same. It's not as if the lights that lit up Arachne's Cave would go out, it's like policy for some sort of lighting be on throughout the entire premises at night which was a blessing by management themselves it seems like they learned their lessons from the previous establishments.

I walked down Arachne's Cave, looking up would only give you the actual scene of the black netting that was above the patrons horror attraction. It allowed Arachne to move above the Patrons quickly and scare them whenever there's a tour.

"Night 6 what do you see?" Asked Night 1 the leader of the security detail, the establishment used code names in an attempt to not aggravate the animatronics he didn't know why they did that I mean these animatronics were only recently built in like what 83 it was like 6 months after the bite of 83.

"I see some discarded drinks all empty, of course people probably dropped their drinks in fear. Other than that it's relatively clear." I said.

"What about Arachne you've seen her during the sweep of the Cave?" Asked Night 1.

"Um, I haven't seen her yet, is she visible on the camera's?" I asked in fear, granted it was the first night for the entire building so there wasn't anything bad to them or us.

A few seconds passed as the CCTV Flicked on, I looked up and saw the camera flicker on for a second before it went off as the camera man went through the cave.

"She is on the netting 30 yards ahead of you. She seems to be off for now." Night 1 reported.

"Alright good, wait, why do I have to go in there when all we need to do is check the camera's?" I asked.

"Don't know how about you ask the person who designed this place, including the procedures, they practically thought of everything." Night 1 said.

"Yeah, and like all great people they all get in an accident don't they?" I said, I continued walking down, I walked for another 25 yards, and eventually saw Arachne. She was split into two pieces, top and bottom; her bottom part was a spider. It was black with some white highlights, there were many eyes there. Her top part was that of a beautiful young woman, she had silver hair, along with redshot eyes that were just red enough that they looked beautiful and not someone who smoked ten pounds of weed, her mouth was around the size of a human so no brain crushing animatronics in this establishment. She had what seemed like a sports bra made of webs.

I stopped for a moment and waited to see if Arachne would respond to my presence, she didn't. I continued my walking, not taking my eye off of her. I eventually saw that her eyes were closed meaning she was in her usual "Sleep" no one knew why she did this they were allowed to mostly free roam during the day although that was necessary for the horror experience.

"Man who designed this place knows how to make things scary even with light." I said.

"Yeah, just finish your sweep and get out of there."

I arrived at the exit of Arachne's cave, "Alright I'm at the exit." The exit door opened, when I left it they closed the door to prevent the Animatronic from leaving without permission.

"So things clear?" Night 1 asked, he came up, he wore a black and red uniform, the tie was red and the suit was black with red highlights. The hat was a combination of the two. Everyone wore it except for the animatronics. On his left hip was a shock baton, issued to all security members including night guards on his right was a taser. We were essentially goons by the company and not some random mall cops.

"Yes, things are, you are clear to go in. Although I don't know if Arachne will wake up, you remember how she acts if we're too loud and wakes up. She may be a bit grumpy according to Emily." I said.

"Yeah right, it's not like Emily created her, it was Afton right?" Night 1 said.

"I don't think so, it was his subordinate or protegè who created her."

The Night staff got their cleaning equipment ready and entered Arachne's Cave, they did it quickly. Another team would do it much deeper clean by 6 A.M like mopping as well before the club opens again at 9 A.M, but for now a simple sweep of the Cave would do fine.

After finishing with no incident they didn't see Arachne move so they were fine. It was somewhat known that Arachne is the most expressive of all the Animatronics in the Club. No matter how hard the coding team tried they could never get her to appear at the marked positions, she never followed them only appearing when she felt like it.

Earlier that day, there were 5 tours each lasting about 15 minutes, and only one of the tours didn't have a chance to see Arachne as it was ten when it started.

The cleaning crew passed under Arachne, she was in the same spot when Night 6 checked up the area.

"Arachne didn't appear for the Ten P.M Tour correct?" Asked one of the Janitors.

"Yeah apparently when a mechanic came to check on her she was fine they didn't know why she didn't appear for the last tour." Responded another Janitor.

"Quiet both of you. We don't know if she'll activate after hearing her name." Night 1 ordered.

But it was all for nothing as Arachne appeared in front of them, she practically teleported down from the netting above them, "I'm already awake from your loud talking, also I was tired so I didn't come to the last tour. It was honestly quite funny to hear people be extremely anxious." Arachne said.

"Yeah that's because you only appear when you feel like it." Said Night 6.

"Hey, don't start a fight with her." Night 1 ordered.

"What it increases the horror factor by at least ten, someone with a watch could easily predict when an animatronic that was coded to appear at certain distances is quite boring and also quite difficult to code." Arachne said.

"That's the reason why people keep going 'missing' the animatronics keep taking them. This place should've died when your creator died." Night 6 said, Arachne only stared at 6 blankly.

"Come people, let's get this place cleaned up, I apologize for my subordinates' behavior." Night 1 apologized, he dragged Night 6 with him. Once they left Arachne's Cave and closed the door 1 began to chastise 6 for his attitude.

"What the fuck is wrong with you 6? Are you aware of who she is exactly?" 1 asked.

"Just a dumb machine." 6 responded "Who should've been scrapped when her creator died."

"You aren't gonna last the night. I had that position before you know. Before the club even opened up, I was there just to make sure the animatronics weren't breaking down before Opening, making sure no one breaks in. Arachne." 6 paused "She honestly fucking scary, she is practically aware of the camera's she even stares right in them its a message. On my first night as I entered her cave alone after not finding her on the camera she appeared out of asked for my name and I gave it to her. She remembers who I am even with code names. She is scary as hell. I'm pretty sure she over heard everything you said about her and her creator, if you get attacked by her no ones coming to help you." 1 said, before turning around, and gave out orders to the rest of the team.

The rest of the night went by without a problem, Neko wasn't in any odd positions but on the stage her coding was ordered, including Korone. The night staff quickly cleaned up the messes that weren't immediately cleaned by the rest of the staff before the Club closed.

Although 6's mind was filled with fear, the office was the only truly safe place it had a single way of entering a door that could close electronically like its Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria counterpart blocking any animatronics entrance. If there is one at the door then you knew you fucked up big time if it was Arachne then you better pray that she doesn't know how to access the electrical system.

"Before I leave there's a call waiting for you in the office. It's a recording that's waiting for you in one of the desk drawers. They're split into days throughout the week, they stop by your fourth night on your fifth there isn't much of anything." 1 said before leaving 6 alone in the darkly red lit club with a single animatronic that is possibly pissed at him.

6 quickly began his way to the officer and sure enough there was a call waiting for him. It was 1:50 A.M by the time he arrived so there was some time to play it. He began to check the drawers and eventually found a CD, Six inserted the CD in its audio player and the recording began.

"RING…RING…RING…" The call was answered and a male voice came on, "Hello, hello. Uhhh… I wanted to record a message for you to get you settled in for your first night. Depending on when you're hearing this message the way you take your actions will have to vary. As of the time of recording the building was just finished and the Animatronics were just sent here. The Night Staff just finished their sweep of the building mostly for training purposes.

Blah, blah, blah. You probably already went through that already. I would like to let you know the Animatronics behavior will vary throughout the night especially Arachne's depending on how you treated her during the clean up of her cave. If she asks for your name and you lie and she learned you lied she may end up killing you. If not, she may spare you. How do I know that it's because she told me directly. Anyways you're allowed to leave the office if you need to.

Ummm, check the cameras. If the power goes out don't worry the office has reserve power to keep you alive, the doors will automatically lock especially the cave, Casino, and Dance floor meaning you won't have to worry about getting attacked in the dark when its 6 A.M or when resetting the power. Although that means you need to conserve power if you decide not to bring the power back on. The camera's are all on their own batteries meaning they won't go down in the event of an outage so you're safe in that regard.

The animatronics if they see you at night and you're in uniform they probably won't attack you. We don't know how they respond to seeing people after hours. Pray that the coding works and they don't try and kill you unlike the other… establishment.

So remember to check those cameras even if the animatronics aren't allowed to leave their areas it's still advisable. If a camera goes down, report to the mechanic crew after your shift is over don't try to fix it. Just check the areas around said camera.

If you have to do an after hours check up on the animatronics, be careful you could end up in an industrial accident. What else… Oh don't forget if you do go out of the office be careful especially if the animatronics are allowed outside of their areas. That's it, I'm not supposed to tell you any introductory Unlike other establishments you were already told that when your shift with the Night Staff started." The call ended, 6 was honestly even more terrified of the prospect of the power going out suddenly, the building was only just recently built and opened. Why would the power go out?

As if god was teasing him the power went out the entire club except for the office which still had power as the emergency generator kicked on.

"Damn it." 6 said, he brought up his computer and began furiously clicking through the camera's he first clicked on Arachne's Cave and sure enough the door was open, how she opened it 6 didn't know. Sweat began to build up on his face.

"How? That- that shouldn't be possible the manual override switches are outside of the Cave." 6 thought in fear. Did she somehow sneak out while they were closing the door to the Cave or what? No, the door is open. 6 then began to go through the camera's arriving at where the power box was. It was switched off, Arachne was still there.

She positioned herself to where the camera could see the power box and the switch, she was staring at the camera like she was trying to burn a hole into the camera, she had a smile on her face like she was proud of what she did.

6 brought out his electric baton, there only a limited amount of times he could hit an animatronic before it got damaged, it was just enough to where he could scare her back to the cave and close it for good where she would spend the rest of the night until 6 A.M when the morning shift will arrive and he could get out.

Then the CCTV glitched out like her moving was just enough to cut the connection between the office and the camera in the powerbox for a few seconds. The sound of six or eight feet moving was audible; there was no way Arachne could hang on the walls or the ceiling so she had to walk on the ground.

He checked the area outside the powerbox and sure enough she was there. The room the powerbox was in, was on the other side of the building from the office so she had to walk a pretty large distance to get to him.

He changed to the Casino and Dance Floor camera's to check on Neko and Korone and sure enough they were still there where they left the two. Although Arachne was a problem, she was so fast in fact that she could easily cover the distance between the powerbox and the office in merely 30 seconds if she wanted.

He put the camera down and turned his attention to the office. There was only one door. The office was situated in a corner so there was only one way to enter. There were no windows to turn on the light to see if anyone was there if so close the door. Don't want to risk getting attacked nor do I want to test the theory that she's trying to kill me.

I went back to the camera's and went to where Arachne was last seen and as expected she was gone. He checked around and found she was barely 10 yards away in the Bar and the surrounding tables. He turned his flash light on and poked his head out and he saw that she was much smaller than when he saw her in the cave.

What irked him wasn't her lower spider body no, it was the massive grin she had on her face like someone who could barely hold their laughter in before performing a prank. He stared at her, the light hitting her face. Her eight eyes on the bottom half of her stared at her completely still. Whether or not she could see from the bottom eyes was still a complete mystery ever since the person who built the animatronic went missing some six years ago. Although her top half stared at her it was clear she was waiting for him to take the light off of her so she could move.

Six activated his electric baton and raised it up, waiting for her to move once he took the light off. Well that was what he was hoping she was planning, once she got close he would shock her with the baton scaring her away. That was Six's plan; at least he was surprised when she slowly scuttled away back into the darkness of the building, waiting to fight another day.

He continued to have the flashlight trained outside the office, once it was clear she wouldn't come back he checked the camera's and found out she was already halfway between the office and the powerbox room.

Less than a minute later the power came back on, along with the dark red lights meaning he could now no longer have to hide in fear. Six checked the camera's again and it was clear she was heading back to her cave, he watched the Caves exit and saw her there. She was busying herself entering the door, she didn't bother cutting the connection temporarily or whatever she did when she moved. After a few seconds the door closed shut.

Six checked the camera's inside the cave and saw that Arachne was already on the netting, she was heading somewhere meaning there wasn't any more danger.

Six sighed there was no more threat for now at least no longer having to conserve power. That entire event barely lasted ten minutes and so that wasn't much. He had worked at the previous establishments, they were slow, it took them around 30 minutes to reach the office, it only took Arachne less than a minute to reach his office meaning she was possibly a huge threat.

The rest of the night was awfully quiet, Arachne didn't leave her cave since the last time she came nearby. Neko and Korone did roam a bit but usually returned back to their usual spots.

6 A.M came by and Six couldn't wait to leave. He dashed towards the door and locked it behind him. He got in his car and left as soon as he started the car.
