Chapter 6: Falling Down

Tyler didn't know how long he passed out, unable to truly wake up after that one and stretched to his limits. It was basically a blessing that there was the Building giving him screaming noises whenever Mangle was about to attack him and helping him with even knowing how to roll or get through that.

He slowly opened his eyes with a yawn as that voice came back, "Have a nice beauty sleep?" It asked with no shortage of sarcasm, leading Tyler to merely roll his eyes, "And the true you rises out of bed. Glad to see that hatred hasn't changed." It said carefree as Tyler rolled his eyes again without a care.

"So, how does it feel that we're already on night 3?" Tyler asked instead, "Your plan seems to not really be working given we're nearing the end already and you seemed damn sure I was going to die yesterday," Tyler continued with a vicious snarl, "What a grand plan you had! You know what you forgot to account for?"

"Oh please, do tell. I think I forgot the bitching and maybe the whining, but I think I got most everything else." The voice snarked back just the same, "I mean, all I have to do is just inhabit the form of your father, and I think this game would have been over. The Building is the only thing keeping your sorry ass alive, and it's pathetic that you're bragging about that." The voice continued on as Tyler got a feeling that it was rolling its eyes at him.

"What can I say? I got friends in high up places." Tyler shrugged simply, "Not like that's a problem if we help each other out."

"Ah yes, if you help each other. What are you doing right now? You're nothing more than a weight on Foxy's shoulders. Why else would it take you so long to bond with him?" The voice asked with a bit more knowledge than it should have had.

"W-Well, it was mostly based on me being scared, I'll give you that," Tyler relented, not even bothering to hide it, "I mostly just wasn't wanting to lose myself in him or-"

"Don't need to add a lie to that. You didn't frankly care if Foxy lost himself in you, did you?" The voice harshly stopped him, "After all, you were just jealous of Kyle not telling you what he was doing. He's your younger brother, why did he bond first? Why did Dad leave without telling you?"

"Okay, creep, no need to try and go with the Dad thing." Tyler dismissed as the voice laughed.

"And once again, you merely divert by taking a random insult to distract from the pain it causes you! What a 'Hero' you really are! You certainly got the selfishness down for it."

Tyler shrugged, "You done yet? If we're going with that line, that would make you the Villain doing all he can to distract the Hero off the path of good, wouldn't it?" Tyler explained as the voice merely sighed in what seemed like disappointment.

"I wonder how long your stubbornness will hold up. No wonder they always get sick of you, you're a brick wall." The voice complained as Tyler smiled as long as that presence was there, but inside, he was a wreck.

He hated how true the words the wisp spoke were. He…had been struggling to care lately about other people and just kept shoving it away.

Later. He shook his head of the offending thoughts, he couldn't let the voice drive that nail in just yet, he'll deal with that whole mess Later. There wasn't much else he could do in the blank void he found himself in, so he was tempted to just sleep, but something told him to wait.

Soon enough, the void seemed to part around him suddenly as he felt himself fall to the ground, barely avoiding face planting in the ground due to whatever magic was bringing him here. It seemed to be later on in the day as he moved inside the place, only to regret it immediately when he came face to face with the scene that constantly reached his nightmares.

"W-What's happening!?" The younger Tyler yelled, barely even able to do more than just clutching Kyle close to his chest as another guard rushed in to block the advances of the rampaging Mangle animatronic.

"Hold it!" The guard screamed as he put his hands around Tyler protectively.

"WAIT!" Tyler and his younger self screamed, "DON'T DO IT!" Tyler struggled to run on over to stop what was going to happen, but only ran on through the employee, staring back with the same stunned terrified eyes as he did that day as the gore rushed through the air.

Neither back then nor now did Tyler truly hear the screaming that erupted after the bite, only able to numbly stare at the body in front of him. That's right, it couldn't show him something that didn't happen. Tyler numbly chuckled, the hollow feeling ripe on his chest as he stared at the younger self of his.

He didn't like the smile that was on that face, not one bit. He tried to slap it, change it somehow, make it a frown or something like the shocked terror on his own face. Why was he smiling there? Tyler tried strangling himself, something to change that face.

Why? Why was he smiling so proudly while those tears were falling down his face? Tyler looked away towards the dead body before him with a sigh.

This had already happened, meaning that…"Tyler! Kyle! I-I'm so glad that you're safe!" Their mom called before looking at Tyler and then at the man…or what was left of him anyways given that his head was…it didn't look good. Tyler didn't want to look back at him, but also didn't want to see the expression that went across Mom's face back then.

"You did good protecting Kyle, Sweetie," Mom said, but Tyler could see the fear that was on her face, "Go run over to Daddy, okay?" Tyler watched his younger self rush off alongside Kyle without a second glance.

Just…just how bad was I? Tyler heard the thought that went into his mind, Did…Was it really that easy for me to do? Tyler heard it continue before noticing that it was him that was thinking that. Fuck, he went through this! Deep breaths, regain stability. It's your head, you can win this. Tyler looked towards his mom while she shakily dialed 911.

"Hello, this is Emergency Services, how-"

"Please! T-Th-There's a dead body! I-I don't know what to do!" Mom frantically cried out as the operator calmly reassured her before asking her where, "I-I'm at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. T-There w-was a mistake with one of the a-anim-animatronics." She managed out as Tyler walked closer, the operator having whispered something just low enough to not be heard, but Tyler knew what she was doing given what happened last time.

They're hiding the evidence, are they? The snarl went through his thoughts as the operator eventually told Mom to wait patiently.

"Please take care of them, they-they're too young, please…" Mom called out as Tyler watched the shadow shift by her side, "I don't want to lose them…"

What…what was that? Tyler couldn't help but ask as he walked towards the shadow cautiously, only to notice bright eyes staring right at him. He froze in his tracks as it seemed to just…stare before looking at Mom and then back at him. After a second, Tyler felt himself dragged into that shadow only to be left with nothingness.

Foxy gulped as he walked the halls he knew all too well to the stage that he had once called home.

"What's wrong? You love performing, so I put a show on for you two." That damned voice called out with a laugh, "You mean to tell me you don't repeat this day over in your mind?" The voice mocked as Foxy barely held back a growl, merely showing his snaggletooth, "Oh, is the wolf getting angry? Wouldn't want a child to go in your way~"

"Shut…up," Foxy snarled out as he continued walking, doing his best to try and drown out the voice from his mind.

"Alright, alright. But, before I head on out, a word of warning. Running will get you nowhere tonight. Just enjoy the sights, this is your freebie night." The voice explained as Foxy raised an eyebrow at that.

Given what little he knew, the voice hadn't been lying, he could feel flashes of what was happening to Tyler, and his was completely true, even if cryptic, but their bond was struggling to hold on for dear life and both of them were heavily relying on their bond with the Building to remain sane and alive. Foxy gulped, was this his hint of the night?

The irony of the situation wasn't lost on Foxy as it had been on Tyler, the being was giving them the opposite of the nights they would want to have. Tyler wasn't fast and Foxy loved running. He had to applaud whatever it was, it was smart. He also had to curse it for that very same reason as he could feel the terror rocking through his bond and was wondering what it was putting Tyler through now.

Foxy was no idiot, he knew Tyler had plenty of issues, especially with some of the twists he would introduce to the stories being…questionable to say the least. Foxy still cared for him, but he believed that Tyler had the wrong idea of how their friendship…no, relationship works. It wasn't just him helping Foxy out. Foxy was to help him out too, and there were plenty of things that Tyler needed help on, he just refused to admit it and let that love of his family members get between him and help.

Foxy let out a groan of pure annoyance at the whole situation. Why, oh why, was he given the stubborn one of the three? He would even have preferred the crazy one! Wait, didn't he get the crazy one?

He couldn't even tell anymore, their whole family was crazy for all Foxy knew as he continued walking into the room he knew too well, "Captain Foxy!" The kids cheered as they watched the past him standing on the stage, but Foxy knew well what happened that day. He still couldn't help the warm smile that reached his face at the thought of the kids enjoying themselves.

Then sparks started flying from the two animatronics on stage as Foxy gritted his teeth, the fear in his eyes so clear despite the eyepatch in the way of one while watching his past self's eyes turn red. The kids weren't even running yet, but the adults knew well what was about to happen.

"Not that it saved them. How did it feel? What did your hook feel like?" The voice taunted as his past self and the toy version of him jumped down into the crowd, "All that rage, all that crowd and all it took was a simple flick of a switch. You animatronics are a plague on the world, starting from that first one you now call… oh, you poor ignorant animatronic, you don't even know the significance of that name, don't you?" Foxy heard the voice taunt as he shrugged the words off.

His eye was glued to watching the fox animatronics mostly rip and tear through the crowd, most of them having tried to run in vain aside from one little boy with a tinier boy alongside him.

"Why him, out of curiosity? Why this weak brat with a weaker will?" The voice asked as Foxy watched his past self hesitate and his eyes slowly turn back to normal at the sight of the children, "Was it really just because he had his baby brother with him?" The voice asked again, nearly devoid of anything but pure amusement.

"No…it was the eyes." Foxy admitted, seeing the admiration in Tyler's eyes even despite it all. Everyone else ran in fear, terror filling their gaze, but Tyler. He stayed despite it all. Foxy…couldn't help but appreciate that.

"WOW! You two really are a fucked up pair!" The voice laughed up a riot in his mind, "You sparing him due to him admiring the carnage you caused and him smiling at a dead body landing in front of him! I thought I was supposed to be the bad guy here, but I better watch out given we have some grade A ones over here!" The voice mocked with a fake terror filling its tone.

"Really now?" Foxy asked simply, not really feeling the words he spoke, "I'm glad ye are enjoying the cruise, because yer going to walk the plank when we're done here." Foxy spoke blandly, the bond with Tyler feeling a bit more solid now.

They really were fucked up, Foxy had to admit to himself with a chuckle, maybe he could get them both into a form of therapy, they both need it badly, "You really think that would help you sorry souls? Just let me, I'll help free of charge!"

"Nah, aye think ye spent your welcome. Ye need a treasure for dealing with our sallywags." Foxy grinned as he turned to the wisp, "We'll keep you company until the end." Foxy stated as he watched Mangle bite the security guard while Foxy merely stood there before leaving through the backstage to stay out of the crowd and try to get the terror out of his mind. He couldn't say he missed those times, "So, how long are ye gonna have me stay here for?" Foxy asked, but saw the wisp was nowhere to be seen. He shrugged as he noticed the younger Tyler running off from his mother. He looked back towards where the mother was calling 911 from before looking into the moving shadow.

And felt himself being dragged inside.

Tyler and Foxy took a deep breath as they looked towards each in the weird void area they fell into. Tyler tried to think, but he was so…so tired of thinking. He barely registered the arms that wrapped around him before noticing himself being carried in Foxy's arms, the hook being secured on the hat.

"Yer a real piece of work, you know that, Matey?" Foxy asked with an exasperated shake of his head, "Then again, so am I, so guess we're both needing to walk the plank, ey?"

"How about this guy first?" Tyler recommended, "We can simply jump in after him if needed." He continued on with a chuckle.

"Well…first we need to know where we are." Foxy stated, before blinking at how Tyler's voice was the one that came out.

"Foxy?" Tyler asked, confused as to what the problem was. Foxy took a deep breath before picking a random direct and moving in it, then stopping.

"Ahh, I think I know what the night's about now," Foxy looked down at Tyler in his hands, "I think we need to have a long overdue chat."

"Can't it wait until we're…well, not in danger of dying at any given moment?" Tyler asked, unable to meet Foxy's eyes, but noticed Foxy shaking his head nevertheless. Sighing in defeat, Tyler merely put his head against Foxy's closed stomach hatch before groaning out of pure agony.

"Ye want to go first or aye?" Foxy asked, noting the confusion that went through their bond, "Yer not one to be messed in the head." Foxy chuckled, noting that his pirate accent was making its way out again.

"I…I don't know, but…" Tyler stumbled on his words, feeling awfully small as he kept his head against the false fur of Foxy's chest and ignoring the tears that seemed to stain it. My tears. Some part of Tyler's mind unhelpfully added, "I…think I need to go first." Tyler took a deep breath before looking up towards Foxy.

"I'm…not at all a good person, but we both already knew that," Tyler stated as he stared at Foxy, waiting for any sort of reaction, but found none but encouragement that Tyler didn't know he needed so badly right now, "I didn't come here just to save Kyle, that thought was more of a…nice bonus really and not much more. I came here mostly because I just wanted to…" Tyler sighed, "I don't know, I guess to either torture myself or try to understand why I did it? Find something that I don't already know? Prove to myself that I'm not just walking sack of waste that regrets nothing that he should regret?" Tyler darted his eyes away in guilt, but Foxy didn't do anything, merely waiting.

A sort of silence crept around them before Tyler took another deep breath as he got his thoughts in order, "I know I was the reason we didn't…well, mesh quite right. I was too scared to lose myself in you, to lose what made me…me. The problem was…I never really thought about you. I know we shouldn't listen to the wisp, but I have really been holding you back, haven't I? You were able to outrun whatever was chasing you effortlessly while Ma-Toy Foxy kept going after me, yet the moment we were forced apart was where I got hurt while you were perfectly fine. I…just feel like I'm a jealous, envious idiot that doesn't really deserve you."

Foxy waited a while as Tyler's head fell back onto his chest before looking at Tyler, "I chose you that day," Foxy started simply as he felt Tyler freeze, "Toy Foxy was the only one that went after you because I noticed your eyes held no terror, nothing but pure acceptance of it all, pure admiration in me. I…probably would have left you if it wasn't for that and chose someone else if I had to be honest since I'm not a good guy either. When I raged, it was simply due to not wanting people to be afraid. I've killed, and my only thought was, 'He's proud of me still? He's not scared?',and nothing more. Beyond that, I'm a pretty bad bully and bad influence on you. I've heard about your treatment of people lately, and I think I'm to blame for it since it's only happened lately."

Foxy rubbed his paw on Tyler's back, trying to comfort his friend, "Neither of us are good people, we both have messed up plenty of times and we still have plenty more times where we'll mess up. That doesn't make it good to stop caring about it, to simply wade in that sense of apathy and depression until we get that brief moment of clarity. We got to stop running from our problems…okay, maybe not all of our problems, I think that abomination of memory would still kill you if it touches you, but that's not the point here!" Foxy coughed a bit, smiling as Tyler let out a light chuckle at the accidental joke, "What matters is that we're set in our course. So what if we're bad people by ourselves? We got the world in our sails and maybe it's time we practice what we preach and do our best to be better people."

"Yeah…I'll like that. I think I know what…what to name you," Tyler stated a tad hesitant before Foxy merely hugged him closer, "I…think you would like the name Aegis." Tyler admitted shily as Foxy blinked.

"Aegis?" Foxy repeated in confusion, prompting Tyler to freak out in embarrassment.

"W-Wel-Well, it means p-protector! Y-You're always keeping me safe and make me-me feel lik-like I'm home…so-so I-I thought that was a-a good name for you." Tyler stuttered out meekly, a red blush on his face as Foxy looked at him with a smile.

"Aegis, huh? I like it. Let's put the name to the test then," Aegis repeated slowly, pulling Tyler closer into another hug, "Thank you. We're not good people, but that doesn't mean we can't learn from those mistakes, right?"

"Yeah." Tyler smiled as they looked at each other before grinning truly.

"Aw, what a heartwarming scene!" The voice stated with heavy sarcasm, "It almost makes me want to vomit, but hey, that's on me for wanting to try a new format for this all, so let's…step it up a notch." The void disappeared around them as Tyler grunted at the sudden feeling of his injuries against the Mangle from the second night popping up. Foxy…no, Aegis was tempted to take him to the health pack, but Tyler merely looked to see that they would have to pay the points again, but looking up showed they already had more than enough to leave if they wanted.

Looks like their points totaled together as the screen showed that they had 1100 points, much to their amusement, "I think we bugged out your game!" Tyler teased as they heard a long suffering groan. Given the multitude of points, both of them took their turn at the health pack as Tyler looked over at Aegis before grabbing two flashlights and tossing the second one to him, "But don't worry, we're good sports, we won't abuse it too much." Tyler winked as Aegis snorted.

"What did we just talk about?" Aegis asked with folded hands as Tyler laughed nervously.

"W-We can start that a-after we get out?" Tyler suggested as Aegis shook his head no, "We can't even trash talk him!?" Tyler whined as Aegis let the smirk reach his face, "Hey!"

"You said we can start after we get out." Aegis grinned snarkily.

Tyler was the one to snort that time, "Uh huh, you planned that one out from before I said that and you know it." Tyler pouted as Aegis' grin grew wider.

"See what I mean now about me being a bad influence?" Aegis chuckled as Tyler shrugged.

"Are you two done with the whole… It's getting kinda awkward." The voice asked as a thought shot towards Aegis, who immediately looked at Tyler and shook his head.

"We're not going to be that cruel."

"Why not? It would be hilarious!" Tyler pleaded, but Aegis merely grabbed Tyler and carried him.

"Tyler. You're not allowed any sugar." Dead silence followed that statement as Tyler looked in pure horror before heading back down in sorrow.

"Alright, I'm not even going to ask, have fun with the five friends out and about, I'm out." Aegis almost pitied the voice, who sounded so absolutely fed up with them and out of its element that he was tempted to mercy rule it. Then again, it did kill a lot of people.

"So have you," Aegis thought to himself with closed eyes, pushing the cries away for just another moment, "Can you really say that you aren't just as bad?" Foxy asked himself again before merely shaking it off. The two of them could break down later, but they had to fight for their lives right now while their bond was at its strongest.

The alarm clock once again read 12:00 as the night started without a countdown, but Tyler merely kept his flashlight looking around above or behind them while Aegis used his to see ahead or look around as well. He noticed how he took the long way around where Pirate's Cove used to be this time, much to his own annoyance, but didn't want to go there, not again.

Aegis thought that neither of them wanted to see their past again, but it didn't help when he skidded to a stop near a young Tyler with a smile just a bit too big to be how he used to look, "Foxy! I'll make you proud!" Aegis heard the nightmare say before pulling out a knife and looking towards Tyler, "Killing people is good, right?" The nightmare asked as Aegis merely ran away, "Foxy! Where are you going!?" The young Tyler cried out while chasing after them, with Tyler being unaware.

"Shit! Aegis, go right!" Tyler suddenly swore as Aegis merely sidestepped into the middle hallway and continued running, not even bothering to ask what was happening. Both knew it was bad, no need to confirm that fear, this was only night four and yet…it was the hardest one yet. Tyler didn't even try to jump off Aegis, merely pushing them in a direction or swirling around to avoid what was after him as Aegis kept running.

"One of the ones I see is after you, stands to reason one that you see is after me, careful." Aegis informed as he continued down the hallway.

"LEFT NOW!" Tyler yelled as Aegis jumped to the left, feeling pain in his left arm, "Y-Yea, I think I found the one…after you." Tyler gasped out as Aegis nodded. Barely 1AM if what Tyler saw was right. The two of them were a good team: with Aegis running whenever he saw the…terrifyingly slow Nightmare Tyler, given it was as slow as Tyler used to run back then, or his own Withered self which was almost as fast as Aegis was now; meanwhile, Tyler would go about yelling directions here and again when the animatronics he saw were coming or swirl around Aegis to dodge away himself.

Then again, it wasn't as easy as it sounded, the method was undeniably simple, but given they were always on the move, it was more of reactions that allowed them escape than a good solid plan. Aegis knew that Tyler wouldn't have lasted without him, "He's deadweight, he's slowing you down enough that your past self is able to keep up so well!" Later. Aegis nearly snarled at his thoughts, this wasn't the time to break down. They still had two more nights and this thing didn't sound like its game as much as it wanted to, so who knows what else would happen?

Aegis merely kept on the move, making sure to never turn completely backwards and always keep away from most corners if he could help it. Just keep running, over and over. By retrospect, he was surprised how long it took before he was eventually forced into seeing Pirate's Cove, but grimaced as he saw the younger version of himself looking at him before quickly looking away.

It was only 3am, but the running never seemed to stop, but that was fine given Aegis was made for running. Running to surprise the kids, and now it was running to save their lives. Aegis pushed forward, but noticed that Tyler was pushing him towards where the animatronics that Aegis saw were.

"W-We're surrounded!" Tyler cried out when he felt Aegis standing his ground before getting off of Aegis, "Then let's do this!" He yelled with a false bravado, but Aegis still gave a false grin as they prepared for something neither were built to do. Fighting to survive.

Tyler was really regretting not grabbing a chair earlier as he dodged away from Mangle, unable to get too far away from Aegis lest that damned Toy Bonnie suit go after his friend instead of himself. It didn't make sense, why would it? Tyler knew damn well why that was the one summoned and was slightly wondering why it wasn't in the fields behind where this place was, but had to gut that thought before his guts got gutted by Mangle leaping after him.

Pushing off the wall to avoid the strike back, Tyler watched Toy Bonnie slowly advancing with those bright…terrifying eyes before they stared at him and waited in the darkness. Tyler didn't want to shine him with his flashlight, he knew better at this point, so he merely kept dodging around Mangle and kept an eye on the bright eyes that continued staring at him until the moment they turned red.

"INTRUDERRRRRRR!" Tyler couldn't stop the shivers that went down his spine as he had mere moments to react before throwing a random chair at Mangle before shining Toy Bonnie with his flashlight, "GAHHHHHHH!" The rageful scream hollowed out of Toy Bonnie as Tyler felt another shiver go down his spine. Out of all his nightmares, why this one!? Shaking the fear down for now, he continued running away with a turn to the left, he had to keep these guys off of Aegis, but he knew that there was one of Aegis' nightmares that were after him.

He broke left into the middle hallway again, noting that Aegis was no longer in the light room. Grabbing another chair, Tyler leapt back down where he came and slammed Mangle with the chair, before having to turn back once again since he wasn't about to fight that thing. He can stand Mangle even despite the jaws. Those eyes were too much, he wasn't going after that. 4am, he can live, he can live. Breaking left yet again towards the light room, Tyler felt something nick his right side, "AGH!" Tyler hacked up blood as he ran into the light of the entrance of the building before breaking right.

Tyler had to keep his bad arm on the wound now, which was pretty bad given the chairs were preventing the leap fest of Mangle, but he could still move, still breathe. He would be needing that medpack afterwards, without a doubt. Tyler kept going, praying that Aegis wasn't feeling the pain he was in, but knew with the sudden pain in his left arm that they weren't that lucky. He kept running towards where he knew his friend was, praying that was enough to get them both out of here. It was almost six, 5:20 or something, but that was still enough time for them to die, and that couldn't happen.

"DUCK!" Aegis screamed as Tyler felt his life flash before his eyes as the word registered before rolling on forward and to the right, springboarding a bit off the wall to hack up some more blood.

Neither of them were moving as Tyler heaved breath after breath, watching the few animatronics he could as they slowly closed in on them. Trapped and no way out huh? Tyler thought morbidly as he grabbed a chair with the bit of strength he still had in him, "THEN WE'LL GO DOWN FIGHTING!" Tyler yelled in his head as he ran with a battle cry at Mangle with the chair and slamming it down before looking back. Aegis looked terrified, to the point he didn't even move, just staring at him as Tyler took a deep breath before running back towards him.

"Do…you really slam them down like that?" Aegis said with a hint of terror in his voice as Tyler ran up onto his back.

"It just stuns her, and I would rather survive right now! We gotta get going, because I'm not leaving you behind!" Tyler shouted as Aegis looked towards his own fears before running at it. He wasn't alone anymore; Tyler wasn't his just because he still held admiration of him despite the rampage, Aegis could do this. Not even bothering to dodge around, Aegis ran straight through the phantom of his past with Tyler still on his back before continuing on until the corner and breaking right just as fast. He hated being against the walls, but both of them were starting to get used to the way the tables were set up and designed.

It didn't take much longer before the two appeared back in the main room out of nowhere, Aegis barely managing to stop moving as the two looked at the medkit. Aegis didn't even let Tyler try to say that he needed one too, just slamming Tyler's hand into the medkit buy and letting it go from there. The flashlights helped last night, but were mostly for Tyler's benefit given most seemed after him, and the one that was after Aegis himself didn't seem to be around anymore.

"Congrats, you made it to my favorite of the nights." The voice said blandly, probably sick and tired of this, "You get to just…leave! Yeah, you get to go away, be free!" The wisp tried to shoo them out the door as Tyler looked at it like it was stupid.

"Given how much you know about us…" Tyler started with no small amount of annoyance.

"And how much you put us both through…" Aegis reminded it pointedly.

"Do you really think we're going to let you go without the Building getting a hold first?" The two asked in unison as the wisp seemed to pale a bit.

"B-But I wouldn't be able to do what I want then!" The voice tried to plead as the two stared blankly.

"Should have thought about that before you went after my brother."

"But you didn't even care-"

"I DO CARE!" Tyler shouted, "It might not have been my main reason, I admit that, but that doesn't just mean I didn't care that you were trying to take my whole family away from me! My family means a lot to me, so like hell I'm letting anyone touch them! I'm a jealous, envious asshole, I know that! But I still care!" Tyler continued on uncaringly as the wisp groaned.

"Do we really have to do this!?"

"Well, not really," Aegis smirked as Tyler looked at him in shock for a moment as the wisp looked at him pleadingly, "We could just have you submit to the Building now and we'll be out of your hair. What's it going to be? Your freedom or having to deal with two psychos that you let in?"

The wisp looked like it was struggling with the choices provided before groaning in defeat, "Fine! I-I'll submit to your stupid Building! Just get away from me!" The wisp said as a shiver went down Tyler's spine before the place seemed to break away and he felt himself falling down.

"You did good, rest well…" A voice seemed to ring in Tyler's head as he felt himself slipping unconscious. Maybe…he can rest well… The world faded away as Tyler closed his eyes, feeling more than seeing Aegis doing exactly the same thing.
