Summary:

After a run in with a unique device, Sheppard, McKay, Ronon and Zelenka end up on a body swapping nightmare.

Doctor Rodney McKay groggily blinked awake. He briefly took a look at his surroundings. The steady slow soft beeping of monitors could be heard from around. He was laying in a bed in sickbay. Damn. He though. How badly did the mission go?

Not too long ago, he recalled, Sheppard, Teyla, Ronon, Zelenka, Lorne and his team, were on a planet. The name is a blank. There was some weird energy source, as usual. But it was different. It was activated and well...now he was here. Doctor Jennifer Keller walked past.

"Hello?" McKay called softly, hoarse. His voice sounded slightly off, but he did not think much of it.

"Radek your awake." Keller said pleased. She was still at the foot of the bed checking vitals. McKay's vision was a bit blurred and unable to make out who she was talking to. It obviously was not him...Wait Zelenka is here too?

"Wait Zelenka's here too?" McKay woke up a little more, now saying what he was thinking out loud. Now his brain was processing. Keller came better into view, she now had a worried look on her face. McKay paused a knot grew in his stomach. "Mirror!" He snapped his fingers.

"What?" Keller took a moment, still looking at him concerned and now slightly confused by the Doctor's odd behavior.

"Mirror, please." McKay stressed.

Jennifer took the nearest shiny-surface object and handed it over.

McKay sat up hastily. "Oh, crap."

Keller squinted in concern. "Mind telling me what is going on Radek?"

"Yeah for one thing, I'm not Radek!" McKay scoffed lowering the the object, voice almost absent of a Czech accent.

Keller paused and her eyes grew wide. "Oh my God, Rodney?"

"Who else?" McKay said in a slightly hurt and defeated tone. A commotion began from a few beds over. "Doctor McKay you need to stay in bed..."

Rodney's body came into view. "Where is he..." His eye's locked onto the bed in which McKay was in, in Radek's body.

"McKay?" Warned the individual.

"Zelenka?" McKay retorted.

"Děláš si ze mě srandu!" Zelenka yelled. It sounded really strange hearing Rodney's voice speaking Czech. "This is your fault."

McKay shot Radek a look taking offense. "How is this my fault? If I recall you were there too!"

"You were the one poking around that device." Radek pointed out.

"And you were the one who plugged in the crystals!" Rodney shot back.

"Per your orders!" Radek countered.

"Okay, okay just stop you too." Jennifer was now getting a headache from the arguing. "You can't fix what happened. How about you two agree to disagree and maybe focus on a solution?"

Both Rodney and Radek gave a slightly irritated look. "Fine." They said in unison.

From the other part of the infirmary another argument could be heard.

"Great, this is going to be a long day." Jennifer muttered excusing herself.

In the next room Doctor Beckett was trying to intervene between Colonel Sheppard and Ronon.

"What's going on?" Keller ask fearing she knew the answer.

Ronon and Sheppard stopped and snapped their heads in the direction of Doctor Keller.

"He's in my body and I'm in his." They said in unison.

Keller shifted her gaze to Carson. Carson did his best 'don't look at me' expression.

"Where's McKay?" Ronon growled from Sheppard's body.

Zelenka and McKay just walked in behind Keller.

"McKay!" Ronon made a b-line toward the Doctor, somehow still quite menacing from that of Colonel Sheppard's body. Zelenka realized that he was headed straight for him. Zelenka ducked behind Keller and his own body in which McKay was occupying.

"Yes?" McKay said sarcastically from Zelenka's body. Ronon looked confused. Sheppard came up from behind and tapped Ronon on the shoulder.

"I don't think were the only one's who were effected, buddy." Sheppard admitted. Ronon huffed and walked away.

John turned to the scientist. "Rodney..." He said in a sing-song 'now I'm going to play the good cop' tone.

"Listen, no I don't know what went wrong, and I'm sorry..."

"Well then what's the game plan on how we are going to fix this?" Sheppard said, seemingly being less angry about the situation than Rodney thought he would be.

"Right..." Rodney's face fell. "Who exactly got us out of there?"

"Teyla, Major Lorne and his team." Carson chimed in. "Why?"

"Did they mess with anything while back on the planet while rescuing us?"

"I'd believe you'd have to ask them." Carson offered.

"Thanks." Rodney said with an annoyed tone. "So get Woolsey to call a meeting so we can figure out what happened and go back to fix this...whatever this is."

"I'll update him now." Keller excused herself to report what was going on. They all stood around looking at one another.

"We should get ready..." Rodney pointed to the other room. Everyone agreed and went on their ways to get ready for the impromptu meeting.
