New Beginnings – part 2

Bella has been with the Volturi for 10 years now. She finally received a letter, from Jake. It only took 10 years. Bella had all but given up on his returning a letter. He had sad news. Charlie had died. He took sick and ended up with pneumonia and died in the hospital.

Charlie was going around asking if anyone had heard from her. Even though she had written him a letter. He was probably hoping she had recently spoken with someone. Jake said, Charlie wasn't even sure if Bella was still alive. He, Jake, mentioned how hard it was seeing her in Forks that day and not being able to talk to her.

Felix walked in as Bella was reading the letter. Bella looked at Felix with a frown on her face. "Amore, what's wrong?" "Bella held the letter to him so he could read it. "oh, Amore, I"m so sorry. Do you want to go back home for his funeral?" "Can I?" "yes, but one of us, myself, Aro or one of the other guard will have to accompany you" "OK, that's fine, with me. I shall ask Aro" Bella took off towards the throne room. She called for Aro and he told her to come in. She went into the room. She could smell the humans before she walked in. Aro motioned for her to pick one for herself. Bella walked over to a large man and grabbed him by his throat. He looked at her in surprise She was so small and had the strength of two grown men. She drank him dry. When she finished. She wiped her mouth, tossed him aside and asked if she could have another Aro nodded his head, and smiled. Bella had come such a long way. Bella chose a teenage girl this last time. She picked her up as the girl screamed and bit down, making the girl shut up. Bella drank the girl in greed. She tossed her into the growing pile. Later there would be a fire. Aro asked Bella what her visit was for. "Aro I have received notice that my father has passed and I would like to attend his funeral" "OK, when, and who would you like to escort you, Like I have to guess, and Aro smiled" "father,

I would prefer Felix but if you would rather escort me, that would be fine also" Aro loved it that Bella has chosen to call him father. It made him happy. Bella, my child, I think I would like to escort you and Felix. That way if anyone decides to cause a problem. Then I will be there to witness. Bella thanked Aro and went back to her room. "Felix. Aro said you can go but he will also escort us" Felix was happy about that. He really wanted to go. He hated leaving Bella for anytime. Even for short hunting trips. Bella asked Felix if there was anyway possible for her to call Jake. Felix gave her his cell phone. Bella giggled. The phone looked so tiny in his huge hands. Bella rang Jake's number. Even after 10years she remembered it. "hello?" Jake? "Bella?" "hey!" "oh my God, Bella!, Did you get my letter?" Yes, it took you long enough. "Well hell Bella, I wasn't sure if you would ever get it. The return address was so vague. "yeah, sorry, that's all the info I had to give you, at the time. "So, you coming for his funeral"? Yea. Alone? No Jake I can't come alone plus I can't leave my mate for that long. "Mate?" Yes, Jake I told you in the letter" "OH yeah I forgot. "So, When are you guys coming? I'm not sure but probably in a few days. You have to be nice Jake and hold your temper. Tell Sam and the others to please be calm. They will not be here to fight. Just as companions for me. And for my security. In case a Cullen or two show up. Bella? The Cullens have moved. "good, I'm glad they have forgotten me. NO Bella they have not forgotten you, they moved from here due to Charlie. Charlie was under the impression that Edward killed you. So, with that, they up and moved. I think they moved to NYC. But I'm not positive.

It saddened Bella that Charlie thought Edward had killed her. But maybe now Edward can continue to live out his life without scrutiny. Bella hoped that Edward had finally met his true mate.

She said goodbye to Jake and went to Felix. He stood up and held her. She pushed him down in the chair and sat in his lap and sobbed. Felix rubbed her back and tried to calm her. Felix asked if she wanted to make love. Bella nodded and he picked her up and carried her to their bed. They made love until the wee hours of the morning. They finally decided to take a shower. Bella wanted to try and calm her nerves and mind. But in the shower she started sobbing again. Felix held her against his bare chest and rubbed her back again and whispered in her ear. "I'm so sorry Amore, I wish I could take away your pain. It's OK Felix, thank you for being here to hold me. It helps. Truly it does. He leaned down and kissed her lips, firmly. His hands ended up caressing her ass. And they ended up having sex, again, in the shower this time. Bella growled, loudly as she came and Felix growled also. Jane was just about to knock on their door when she heard their growls and walked away, smiling. She was happy for Felix and Bella.

Two weeks later Bella, her guard and her mate attended Charlie's funeral. While there Billy confronted Bella, "what are you doing here?" "Well Billy he was my father, remember?" "Billy just grumbled and Jake wheeled his father away from Bella. Carlisle and Esme did attend. Aro and Felix, both, growled. Bella just ignored them. Billy couldn't help himself, he had Jake wheel him back towards Bella "You know, you could have contacted your father in the past 10yrs, instead of leaving him a grieving father." "Billy, enough, you do not want to fuck with me right now. Felix growled. Billy just gave Felix the side eye. Then snorted. "What do you think you can do to me, little girl?" Felix and Aro both had, had enough Aro went towards Billy and stated "That, little girl as you called her is capable of killing you without you even realizing what happened. So, if I were you I would leave and quit talking to her, especially in front of her mate, who can also stop your breathing in a second. "I know what you are 'leach' and I know that Bella has joined forces with you, sadly". Carlisle stepped in. Aro, friend, can we do this somewhere else? This is no place for what is about to happen. Let Bella have her time, please. Billy huffed and motioned for Jake to push his away. Bella reached for Jake's arm. He pulled away "not now Bella, later.

The next day they all arrived back in Voltera. Bella had 'cried' all the way home. She will miss Charlie even more now that it is definite he is gone. Bella was thirsty. So she and Felix went to the dungeon and fed. Bella always had 2 humans. She never fed off of children. Even though she was told their blood was the best.

Chapter 3

5 years later, Bella was still happy and loving Felix. Aro was so happy and proud of Bella and her fulfilment of her duty as one of his guards.

One afternoon a stranger showed up at the castle. Bella was in the throne room, behind Aro and she growled when the stranger approached. He held his hands up and said "I come as a friend" " I mean no harm, I am seeking refuge, please" The man was vampire but he looked dangerous, like Jasper. He smiled at Bella, Felix growled , from the side. The stranger noticed the large frame of Felix, realizing that he was the young girl's mate, and apologized. Aro told the stranger, "I will have to converse with my brothers as he montioned to the other 2 men, before I can offer you refuge" "What are you hiding from?"There is another vampire after me stating I stole his mate, I did not and she is no where to be found, to cover for me" Who is this vampire you speak of?" "His name is Jasper Whitlock" Bella froze, and whispered "jasper?" So that meant Alice was missing. Aro held Bellas hand that was resting on his shoulder. He knows what the names of the Cullen clan does to her. He montioned for Felix. Aro could feel Felix's anguish towards Bella's feelings. Felix floated over to Bella and held her in a tight hug. Whispering in her ear "I'm here Amore. Calm down" Bella nodded and sobbed. She missed Jasper and was worried about Alice and where she was.

After speaking with his brothers Aro allowed the vampire called Lazarus to stay until they could calm Jasper down. They sent out guards to see if they could locate Miss Alice.

They found Alice. Sadly she had been killed. So Jasper had to be found and told of this sad news. Bella cried and sobbed. She loved Alice, like a sister until the crap went crazy with Edward.

Bella offered "I have Jasper's cell number, would you like to have it Father? so you can inform Jasper?" "Yes Bella, thank you" She gave her phone to Aro and punched in the number for Jasper. Aro informed Jasper of Alice's death Bella could hear Jasper yowl out his dispair in pain. Now Jasper just wanted to die too. Aro offered Jasper a place on his guard. Jasper is a good fighter. Jasper said he might take him up on the offer. I hoped he would. Bella would love to have Jasper in her life again.
