Chapter 1: The Beginning

It was a normal day at Nazarick, but who could known that this seemingly normal Day could be a catastrophe.

~15 Minutes before the Catastrophe~

"Ainz-sama, the Chief of the Grand Library, Titusu Annaeusu Sekundusu would like to discuss an urgent matter with you, which appears to be a strange phenomenon that has taken place in the library" said Albedo with an angry expression.

"A strange phenomenon? What could Alfredo mean by that? What could possibly happened that he wants to discuss it. Maybe some Books where stolen or something worse. I really wanna know. And know that I think about it, I really don't have much to do now so he could discuss it right now." thought Ainz "Okay Albedo, tell him that he can come right now to discuss this strange phenomenon"

~10 Minutes before the Catastrophe~

As Titusu walked in and bowed, Ainz directly asked "What is this 'strange phenomenon' you wanted to discuss with me?" said Ainz and Titusu grabbed a Book out of his Inventory and gave it to Ainz.

"It is this Book Ainz-sama. This Book appeared out of nowhere in the Library and it exudes strange magical energy that I have never felt before.

I didn't know what to do, because I have already tested it if it was trap or something, but the main reason I brought it to you is because I had the feeling like it wanted to you." said Titusu and Albedo immediately replied "So you wanted a meeting just to give Ainz a Book?" Albedo was Angry, because this nonsense was not worth the time of a supreme being, but Ainz strongly disagreed and said that Titusu did the right thing.

"A book with strange Magical Energy. Maybe I should give it Demiurg, but I really don't think that it's that much of an emergency. What's even the title? 'The Record of the Four Holy Weapons', quite a strange title." thought Ainz as he looked at the strange Book that has been given by Titusu.

"Did you already opened it?" asked Ainz "N-No, I didn't want to do something that m-may harm Nazarick." said Titus while a drop of sweat was on his forehead.

~30 seconds before the Catastrophe~

After Ainz casted many Trap detection Spells and was 100% sure that this book wasn't a trap he finally opened it. After some Seconds of reading he had the impression that this was some kind of Light Novel About a World with something called 'Waves of Calamity' and four heroes that will save the World he came to the Part where to the explanations who the four heroes were.

At the Point he came to the Part of the Shield hero, the Site was blank and suddenly he saw Magic Circles around him.

"What the hell is happening?" thought Ainz within a Second And the last thing he heard was Albedo trying to stop what was Happening, but it was to late.

The Next thing he saw were some Old man in white robes, nut before the could even react Ainz casts (Silent Magic; Time Stop) and everything freezes in time.

"Where the hell am I? These Old mans must've cast some kind of magic to summon something. Wait did the really summon me, but how. THE BOOK. I knew it. I mean, why would a book just appear in the Library that not even Titusu knew about. They just summoned me against my will. I will not accept that. But first I need Information." as Ainz thought that he looked around to get some Information to know where he exactly is. "Okay, as far I can see is that these man are some kind of Priests and I don't really seen places that look the same as this City. Wait something feels strange. Its like something is attached on my right Arm." Ainz then looks at his arm and is shocked "What is this thing and how did this shield like thing got on my Arm. I can't cast something while (Time Stop) is active, but I don't have good feeling about this. I seems that I am not the only person that was summoned. There are three more people and the all have a Weapon in their Hand. Now that I think about it, wasn't this the Story in the book. That means I am in another World!" as Ainz realized that he was in rage, but then a green light appeared and he quickly calmed down.

"Okay, to summarize everything I know, I have been summoned as the Shield hero that was mentioned in the book and the other three were summoned too. And these Priests will probably want that we save there primitive World. I think I can find a way to teleport back to Nazarick even if it takes me decades. I WILL FIND A WY BACK. But before I deactivate the Spell, I should put on the Gloves and the Mask."

As he put on the Gloves and the Mask he goes to the place where he originally stood and deactivated the Spell and the first thing the Priests say is "Oh, Heroes! Please save our World!". After that the three Weapon holding Humans shouted "Wait? What?!" Ainz was still Angry, but then an Idea popped in his mind. He immediately cast (Gate) and a Black Portal appeared in front of him. All the People in the Room were shocked as Ainz walked towards it. As he made contact the Gate directly closed and a Warning appeared. [Warning! The attempt of leaving the Dimension was detected and has been blocked. Please do not try it again]. As Ainz saw the Warning he was confused "What? Is this some kind of Game?". As Ainz questioned it one of the Priests said "Sir Shield Hero, could you explain what you did right now?" and Ainz said "I just tried something. Please don't question me.". The Priest just accepted it and said that they should follow him to the Throne Room to meet the King. They followed him and as they got there they lined up and the King spoke "Welcome great cardinal heroes, this is the nation of Melromarc and I am her king, Aultcray Melromarc the thirty second. Please introduce yourselves." The three began to introduce themselves. "What should I tell them. That I am the king of Nazarick or something else, but what if the NPCs find a way to this Dimension. I think if they find a way it would be easier to find me." now Ainz turn came and as he wanted to introduce himself the King interrupted "Good. Ren, Itsuki and Motyasu." "Ohh this King is one of the ignorant kind." as Ainz thought that he then cleared his non-existent throat to gain the attention of the King.

"Oh, forgive me, please introduce yourself and would you be so kind to take the Mask of" Said the Kind, but Ainz could immediately fell that the King did that on purpose "Here goes nothing." "I am the King of Nazarick. Ainz Ooal Gown!" said Ainz as he released an Aura that only Kings could have. Everyone was shocked by that statement and as the King wanted to say something Ainz said "And now, tell me, how do I go back home?" and the next words of the King made Ainz rage "You can't." and as he said that the Aura changed from an Aura of Kings to a black deathlike Aura as if he was death himself.

But after a green light appeared again the Aura was gone. Everyone in the Room was scared as Hell and then Ainz spoke up " Im sorry, but what do you mean by 'You can't'?" "I-I-I mean t-that you can't a-as long you d-didn't defeated the W-Waves of Calamity." said the King in a tone that made him look like a little kid. "C-Can I ask y-you what just h-append" said the King, but Ainz didn't listen and that made the King a little Angry "I asked you something!" said the King in an Angry tone. "I was just a little angry, because, you know, you summoned me AGAINST my will." said Ainz and thought "Okay, calm down, I mean, there must be another way, I will not do something I didn't agree in the first place. I will just seek for another way.". The three other heroes were like statues, because they didn't know what to say in a Situation like this so they just stayed silence. "I won't help you and you stupid World. I just want to go back to my World!" said Ainz and all of a sudden all the Guards point there spears at Ainz. "I don't think you have much of a choice" said the King with a smiling expression."You don't know who you dealing with" said Ainz while his Eyes started glowing bright red.
