Chapter 6

As Zelena dragged Chrissy into the dark forest chrissy began to feel uneasy. Sure Zelena had her magic but she didn't have any and unaware of what lurked far beyond the borders between town and the campgrounds nearby she didn't dare stray away from beside Zelena who hadn't said a word. She was looking around as if searching for something. At one point she stopped for a moment and pulled out her wand muttering something under her breath and drawing it around in a small circle causing a ring of magic to appear around it, streaking towards where she had it pointed.

Chrissy watched as the magic coming out of the wand zig zagged thru the air as if IT was now searching for something. It stopped several feet away and the area it had stopped at glowed. "There you are" Zelena said mostly to herself before making her way forward. The two stopped at the area and Chrissy didn't expect what Zelena said next.

"Dig" She commanded, the tone in her voice making it evident there was no room for negotiations. "With what?" Chrissy wanted to add in something sarcastic but thought better of it. Zelena just rolled her eyes and used her wand again this time conjuring up a shovel. "Your kidding." she finally said.

"Darling does it look like I'm kidding. Now hurry up theres loads more to do and very little time to do it" Half of her wanted to ask why Zelena couldn't use her magic but again thought better of it.

This was going to be a long night.

"C'mon put your back into it!" The man nearby shouted, Chrissy was going as fast as she could if she pushed herself anymore she was liable to hurt herself but the guy obviously in charge didn't seem to care. "I said move!" He growled.

It went like this for the rest of the day, no one said working in the mills would be easy its why some people would rather commit the ulimate crime of disposing of themselves rather then face this kind of torture.

by the time the day was over the man in charge ordered everyone back to boarding house which was behind the mills. Chrissys entire body ached like she'd been hit by a carriage, her knees were bloodied up so bad from constantly falling and her hands were covered in sores which given the state would take days to heal.

She was currently sharing a room with several other girls, 12 to be exact. There was no privacy here, she shared a room, meals, abided by a curfew and worked 12-14 hours with very little pay. She still hadn't gotten over Reginas betrayal it kept her up some nights and on days where she wasn't working she went off on her own and started training to use a sword. It wasn't going so well but the thought of driving it thru reginas heart is what kept her going.

"You're gonna pay for what you've done" She told herself as she lay on that cot "And that time is coming soon"

Ring, Ring, Ring "C'mon pick up the phone" Each dial tone caused Regina to become more frustrated. Finally after the 5 try of getting ahold of emma, regina slammed the phone down on the reciever and decided to go down to the sheriff station and get answers. Just as she was getting ready to go a small knock came from her front door, before she could tell whoever it was she was busy she noticed that familiar set of brown eyes and her gaze softened. His didn't, he stared at her and was forcing a smile that didn't touch his eyes. "I'm only here because my mom told me to." He said, before she could reply back he continued "She wants me to warn you, everyone knows who you are now. You better lay low for a little while."

He started for the door again but Regina called out "henry wait!" he did but with more hesitation then anything. "I'm sorry about what happened I didn't mean..."

"I know you didn't. You were saving it for my mom. I wasn't your actual target." The anger evident in his voice "Dont worry my mom wont make that mistake again she knows your the evil queen. Everyone does."

She took a step towards him, every fiber in her being wanted to comfort him and continue to apologize for him having almost died because of her but he was pulling away from her. She had to do something before she lost him. "Henry please dont leave" She begged.

"Or what?" He snapped, "Are you gonna put some sort of spell on me to keep me here?"

"Henry how can you say that? I would never do that to you. You're my son..."

"NO I'm NOT!" he yelled, his grip tighetening on the door "You never loved me, you were just using me as a cover so that everyone could like you"

"Don't say that!" The hurt and heartbreak coming out clearly in her voice. "That was never what this was, I loved you from the moment I adopted you!"

"Then prove it!" He challenged. "If you want me to believe you then PROVE it!" before Regina could say anything he whirled around and ran out of the office. In his state, having just got out of the hospital and not thinking where he was going he could get hurt so Regina had no choice. She had to go after him. "Henry wait!" In her haste she left her personal cellphone on the desk and didn't see it light up and start to ring.

The caller ID as Emma swan. "Regina this is emma, I have some news. You'll never guess what I found. Lets just say It's not good. call me back as soon as you get this. I think Chrissy may be in danger" The voicemail said before it cut off. Someone had poofed into the room and smashed the cellphone with their walking stick. "I'm afraid she's not the only one Dearie" The man sneered, he looked around the office and spotted what he'd came for. A small silver plum shaped bottle sitting in Regina's private glass case. It was disguised as perfume but he knew better. Tightening his grip on the purple vile he poofed himself out of the room laughing to himself. Storybrooke wasn't prepared for what was about to head their way. No one was.

ooooooooooooo

As Chrissy was finishing the hole Zelena was making her dig she all but froze in place when the sound of a werewolf pierced the night air. Zelena didn't seem bothered by it just demanded that Chrissy keep digging, for all she knew she could be digging her own grave and didn't want to think about what was going to happen when she finished it. She stared up occasionally at the full moon ahead and started to feel uneasy. "What is it now?" Zelena cried out clearly becoming frustrated. "I really dont think its safe to be out here." Chrissy said not taking her eyes off the moon.

Zelena rolled her eyes and replied "Oh for god sakes I get less back talk from my flying monkeys." Chrissy froze for a minute but decided not to even bother asking. She almost told her why didn't she have them do it then but knew better then to talk back especially to the one who was holding her hostage. She was about more then half of the way done when her shovel suddenly hit something solid.

This is apperently what Zelena had been waiting for and used her magic to pry the item loose from the dirt. Chrissy without asking jumped out of the hole and watched Zelena lift it and drop it onto the ground right by Chrissys feet. "Well go on then...Open it." Zelena said.

"You gotta be kidding me" Chrissy snapped back, "Afraid not dear now hurry up before I turn you into a toad and add you to my collection." Leaning over chrissy tried to pull the old lock off the chest hoping it would break off easy but of course it didn't and Zelena got tired of waiting as she shoved Chrissy out of the way "Oh for gods sakes out of my way stupid girl, I'll just take care of this myself" Zelena had her back turned so Chrissy couldn't tell weather she was using her magic to open it or if she'd picked it but choose not to say anything. The box gave a small click and Zelena pried the box open dipping her hands into the chest and grinning from ear to ear. It was to dark to see what she'd pulled out but it must have been something special because Zelena just smiled "Hello beautiful." Before shoving the item into her pocket. She turned to face chrissy and motioned for her to start walking away. "Now where are we going?"

"Dont ask questions you dont want to know the answers to now move!" Zelena growled, chrissy wanted to throw her hands up in the air and fight. She was tired of taking orders but figured she should hold off and bide her time because it was quite obvious no one was coming to save her. She was on her own, just like she'd always been. She'd come to learn she couldn't depend on anyone but herself, now it was up to her to save herself because the fact was she didn't believe in fairy tales anymore. There was no hansome prince coming to save her. She was going to have to do that on her own and that she would, she just needed to think of a plan and soon.
