When the rest of his family was asleep, Camilo was wide awake. Tonight was going to be a full moon. Every full moon, Camilo and his papá had a secret game. Camilo wondered why Dolores could never play the game with them.

Félix opened the door. "Is it time, papá?" Camilo asked.

"It is, mi Hijo," Félix responded. He helped the eleven-year-old out of his bed. Camilo had slipped the diary under his shirt. He often became bored while they played the game. Camilo figured bringing some reading might help him get through the night.

They left the Casita quietly. They approached the small abandoned house on the edge of town. Félix opened the door, revealing the rundown living room. "Do you remember the rules?" Félix asked.

"Mhm," Camilo said. "Don't leave the house all night."

"That's right, mi Hijo," Félix responded. He gave his son a small smile. Félix pressed a kiss into Camilo's curly hair. "Goodnight, mi Hijo. I love you so much. I'll come and collect you in the morning."

"I love you too, papá," Camilo said. He watched the man leave the rundown house. Camilo started to read the book.

It was the first full moon of the semester. Professor Dumbledor stopped the young Gryffindor on her way to her house's common room. "Is everything alright, Headmaster?" Pepa asked.

"Yes," Professor Dumbledor responded. "However, you will not spend the night with the rest of your house. I'm aware of your situation. We have made something to ensure you don't hurt yourself or someone else."

"Okay," Pepa said. She was beginning to feel comfortable at her new school. Now, her curse was coming to bite her. Pepa was only three years old when a werewolf attacked her. The beast left Bruno and Julieta alone, but Pepa was cursed.

The Headmaster led the young girl through a secret corridor. "You can't tell anyone about this," Professor Dumbledor explained. "Some people will want you kicked out of the school."

Pepa nodded sadly. They arrived in a shack. "I'll collect you when it's time for breakfast," Professor Dumbledor promised. "Stay here, and goodnight."
