3rd POV
"I've had this job for 2 weeks and I'm already struggling with the urge to see Freddy again. It's hard enough trying to avoid him, I don't need this urge to make it any harder than it needs to be." Said a tall thin man into his recorder. This man's name is Gregory. The very same who stayed all night at the Pizzaplex running for his life 15 years prior. The very same Gregory who, after freeing the animatronics from Vanny's virus, made a make shift family out of the robot. The same one who teamed up with the guard, whom he thought was after him, to take down Vanny and have her arrested. The very same who hid out in the Pizzaplex with his found family and made a life as an unknown singer of the band. And the same who got caught and taken into foster care after a sloppy stealth attempt for food. He would never forget the pain he felt when being taken away and placed into the cruel hands of the foster system.
Gregory had bounced around many foster families until he was deemed old enough to fend for himself at 18 years old. He had once again been kicked to the streets just like when he was 10. After some scouring for a few years he landed a decent job but it only payed enough to get him food and clothes for each day. Many years had passed before he had come across Vanessa, who was just on her way to work for the day. Upon seeing the man's living state, she offered him shelter as well as other necessities he may need. Eventually she got him a phone so they can stay in contact with one another in case of emergency. But as time continued to move forward, he had gotten a new boss. His old boss was kind to Gregory and he never had a complaint for the woman but her successor hated his guts. One small mistake was made and the man promptly fired Gregory, firing one of the stores best employees for 4 years running. Gregory was once again struggling to make ends meet. He was getting no money and he had already been mourning not being able to afford to see Freddy and the gang for the past 15 years.
Gregory was getting desperate until Vanessa shared some news with Gregory. The dayshift mechanic had recently quit and the Pizzaplex had been looking for applicants to fill the position. So without hesitation Gregory applies for the position with Vanessa putting in a good word in for his technical skills in the animatronic field. Days had passed before they received the news that Gregory got the job.
Which brings us to the present. The now 25 year old stood at 5'5" with a lean structure with some muscle but not a lot to be considered toned. He has just enough to lift heavy parts needed for animatronics. Gregory has been avoiding the Glamrock performers like the plague and they didn't even know the mechanic position had been filled yet. Well that is until Sun and Moon needed routine maintenance done after a child got a bit rough with the two robots in the daycare. He still remembers the excitement Sun had upon seeing his unbaned friend once more while Moon simply nodded his acknowledgment but couldn't withhold the smile that formed on his lips.
It had been a few days since then and while you did allow the two to let the others know that position has been filled, you asked they kept your identity confidential until you were ready to face them again after so long. So far they have respected your wishes, with much restraint on Sun's part, and none of the other suspects a thing. Most of the Glamrocks maintenance had been done at night by Vanessa so they haven't necessarily come down during his shift for any repairs due to having to attend to kids and families constantly during the dayshift. That didn't make it easier for Gregory though as he has to go from the entrance, through the atrium, go up to the stage and into the door near the stage with stairs leading to parts and service while trying his best not to be spotted by the performers. Luckily they all would be busy attending to guests while he made his way down and they would all be heading down to parts and service through their rooms in rockstar row while he was leaving.
Gregory did suspect that at least one of them had gotten a glimpse of him walking by once or twice. This suspicion was proven correct when Monty was seemingly following him for a little bit earlier this morning before Gregory hid himself within the crowd of people and making his escape to parts and service when the Gator lost his location and walked back to where he was previously. Gregory sighed when thinking about the close call. Sure him and Montgomery were like brothers when he was younger, he still worried that Monty would be angry at him for the prolonged lost contact. "Monty almost caught me today. I have no clue if he even recognizes me but if he did then I'm done for. They all must hate me at this point." Gregory sighed as he made his way through all the endoskeletons. He kept walking until he tripped over something.
His recorder fell out of his hand and landed a few feet in front of him. Gregory couldn't catch himself in time, causing him to bang his head on the floor. He stayed there for a bit waiting for the pain diminish before rising to his feet once again with a hand on his hand. Upon pulling his hand away he saw some blood had pooled onto it signifying he had cut open his head upon impact. He made a mental note to stop by the daycare after his shift to have the daycare attendants take a look at him and make sure he didn't have a concussion or something like that. The daycare attendants were all Fazbear employees best medical care unless you were an animatronic that is. Dealing with rambunctious kids all the time gave them the most medical knowledge in the facility even if you knew how to use the medical stations.
Gregory wiped the fresh blood onto his shirt without a care while turning to take a look at what he tripped on. He stared for a second before walking a bit closer, crouching down to make a better inspection. He rubbed his hand across a smooth metal surface as the dust cleared from it, surprising Gregory with the purple colored plate. He examined the metal further before deducing it was an old animatronic. Upon closer inspection he recognized it to be the mascot set for the bowling alley. The animatronic who was decommissioned years ago, a fact that had upset Freddy the most as well as the others while it angered Gregory. The robot looked pretty beat up sure but it wasn't something that couldn't be repaired or buffed out. The animatronic was named Glamrock Bonnie and from what Gregory could tell, Freddy seemingly missed the bunny dearly. Gregory always got a bit of a vide from Freddy that just told him that the bear held feeling for the bunny.
Gregory took in more of his surroundings before noticing another interesting animatronic. This one was a Fox and it was position next to Bonnie. Although he wasn't mentioned as much as Bonnie was, Gregory could still make out that this Fox was Foxy who can been seen advertised on posters in the daycare theater. Not much was heard of about what happened with the beloved Fox but Gregory never really asked about him often due to the fact that talking about Bonnie hurt enough as it was.
Gregory stood back up and turned to pick up his recorder before continuing to talk on it. "So I may have just stumbled upon something that could take up my time during my shift while I avoid the others. But I'm gonna need some help to make this project come to full fruition at the same time. If she's willing she can work if fixing Foxy while I concentrate on Bonnie. But of course I've gotta drag these two back to the main area and fully assess the damages before I make any calls." With that Gregory stoped his recording and looked around for anything to carry the two decommissioned robots at the same time so he wouldn't have to walk all the way back here again for the other one. His eyes scanned the area before they landed on a cart used to move Endos into this back area. "Bingo. That'll do." He muttered. After rolling the cart over he made sure the cart wouldn't move before he grabbed the robots and hauled them onto the carts. He secured the two into place to avoid them falling off and possibly causing more damage to the two animatronics than there already was. Gregory carted the two away and almost went into the repair cylinder before making the assignment to place the two in separate private working tables as to keep the repairs a surprise for everyone. Well not everyone, he's have to tell his boss (who was not in charge during his stay as a child but is better then the one who was beck then) his plans to repair the robot with Vanessa's help while also telling Vanessa in order to enlist her help to begin with.
After Bonnie and Foxy were set on a work bench in two different rooms, Gregory looked the two over to assess the damages. Bonnie had a damaged voice box, his hand and eye needed replacing, and a few dents on his outer casing needed to be popped out before Gregory did a deep clean of his casing as well as adding a fresh coat of paint. Foxy needed some repairs to his ear, his finger needed replacement, and he needed a new leg. His dents needed to be popped out before his own deep clean and paint job. Both had a few damaged wires but those would take only a small amount of time to fix to the point where Gregory could do it himself today. But before he began work on the wires he made sure the animatronics were fully powered off and took out the memory chips as to make sure no damage could be done to them. He placed the memory chips in a safe place in each respective room before pulling out the supplies he needed for the wires.
And so a few hours pass before all damaged wires were replaced and put in their proper placing. Gregory reinserted the memory chips as the damage risk was now over before leaving the room. It was as he headed upstairs that he remembered his fall. He decided to go to the daycare early so he could talk with his boss about the projects before he absolutely had to leave the building. Upon the daycare attendants inspection, Gregory had a small concussion that shouldn't really cause him any real issues and should clear up within the next day. They also bandaged his head that he forgot was bleeding before they let him go. Gregory then sought out his boss. Upon finding the woman she agreed to talk to him in private, not fully knowing what he wanted to talk about.
"So Gregory, what can I help you with today? And what on earth happened to your head?" She asked. Gregory smiled. His boss gets concerned with the smallest of injuries on an employee. He liked that attribute. Not many employers had that but to have one that does made all the difference about one's employment. "I tripped in parts and service and banged my head on the floor. I had Sun and Moon check me out. Nothing to bad just a cut and a slight concussion that should clear up tomorrow. But you won't believe what I tripped on." This statement caused his boss to perk up with interest. She motioned for him to continue. "I found Glamrock Bonnie and Foxy. The best part about it is that their reparable. I'd like to get your permission to do so but also ask to keep this project under wraps until it's completion in order to give everyone and element of surprise." His boss looked at him with surprise. She looked to the wall as if reminiscing something before turning back to Gregory. "I remember watching those two when I was younger and have yearned to see them preform once more. You get those two repaired and you'll be making a wish of mine come true. Young man I want you to repair those two thoroughly and efficiently. And as a reward I'll promote you to dayshift security and give you a raise. You'll be able to see the robots perform and you'll still be allowed to run repairs for them as well. Do we have a deal?" His boss offered. Gregory startled in shock at the offer before straightening himself in his chair. "Before I take the deal, in order to get the repairs finished I may need to enlist the help of Vanessa and if I do succeed in gaining her help, I ask you offer the same deal to her. She's done so much to help me and it would be the least I can do to repay her. I would also like to present Bonnie and Foxy to the other animatronics before the Pizzaplex opens that day when the repairs are done."
Gregory's boss grin turned into a closed eye smile as she stood up and held her hand out to him more. "Consider it done. Now do we have a deal?" Gregory smiled and nodded as he took his bosses hand in his and shook it.
