3rd POV
Present day
"You found WHO underground?!" Gregory covered his ears as Vanessa shouted at him. He sighed. He knew she meant well and that she's mainly worried about how he found the animatronics rather then who he found. Nonetheless it was rather late and he was tired enough as it was due to his fall so while rubbing his eyes he replied "you heard me. I found Bonnie and Foxy. Due to my lack of appearance for the last 15 years, and because it seemed as though his decommissioning affected Freddy the most, I want to fix him myself to make up for not keeping my promise to come back. But I want to bring the two back at the same time. Unfortunately I'd only be able to fully focus on one during my shift so that's why I'm talking to you about this."
Vanessa thought of it for a second. She has all ways wondered whatever happened for the two to be decommissioned but had no authority to ask about it. Plus all higher ups wouldn't tell anything. She wouldn't mind bringing them back but she's sure that would cost a lot to do so and Fazbear entertainment has always been cheap scapes in the past. "Did you speak to Alice and if you did, did she allow you to do this?" At this Gregory smirked. A smirk that Vanessa knew all to well. He has something that will convince her, hook, line and sinker.
"Oh I've spoken to her alright. She offered me a deal. What was it again. Oh yeah a promotion to the dayshift with access to maintenance work if I want to as well as a raise. An offer that would only accepted if you were given the same offer should you chose to help fix them as well." Vanessa's eyes grew wide at the proposition given to her. A promotion from the shitty night shift which has lost it's charm ever since Gregory left AND a raise. Gregory must've known how to make bargains if that was actually accepted. "And with the fact that she had missed the two herself, which prompted her first deal, she accepted my conditions and we shook on it." Gregory said as his smirk grew. Vanessa's surprise turned to shock.
"Well than," she started. "Since I'm finally given the chance to get free from the night shift while also paying us more for our apartment and since the boss already approved, I have no reason to decline the offer. I'll work on fixing Foxy during my shift and you can just focusing on Bonnie." Gregory smiled. He can't wait to see how the others will react to the decommissioned duo's return. However what Gregory didn't know was that he would be in for more surprises when the time comes.
With a grin on his face, Gregory walked home, ate some dinner and went to sleep.
After her talk with Gregory, Vanessa went straight to Alice's office to discuss one more small detail with her concerning the deal. One that Gregory is not to know about until the day both animatronics are repaired. She knocked on the woman's door and opened it when she heard the muffled come in. "Vanessa! What a pleasant surprise! I'm assuming Gregory's told you about our deal?" Alice started as she gestured for Vanessa to take a seat.
Vanessa nodded. "He did that kinda why I'm here. I want to add to the deal on Gregory's part of it at least." Alice's interest is piqued and she waits for Vanessa to continue. "I would like for you to offer Gregory a place to live in the Pizzaplex after Bonnie and Foxy are repaired. Should this be accepted I ask that you do not tell him about this part of the deal until he makes a move to leave for the day." Alice was caught off guard by the request. "And may I ask why you are making this request?" Vanessa nodded and sighed before continuing. "You see, when he was younger he may have intruded on the property but after the events that happened during his stay, he had found himself a makeshift family out of the Glamrocks and for a long time he was happy." Vanessa smiled as she remembered those times.
"I kept his living situation in the Pizzaplex a secret just to keep him safe. He was homeless at the time and he really didn't want to go to foster care when his family was right here. For a while he made himself notorious as an unknown and unseen singer with the band and would sneak around for food breaks." Vanessa's smile turned to a frown. "But one day he accidentally slipped up. He was only trying to get food but security caught him, took him into custody and than, the police tore him away from his family. I didn't know much of what happened to him until I found him on the streets again. He had a job after he was kicked out of his last foster family but the job only payed enough for food and clothes. I took him in and sure he's good company but I can tell he misses those days here. He was bouncing around foster family's for years until he was considered an adult. He's had it rough. I feel like the only way to truly show him that he has a family is for him to be able to live with them." Vanessa stopped and stared at her lap for some time.
The room was filled with silence while Alice processed the information. She was also a victim of the foster care system when she was younger but that never happened to her. Alice took a breath before standing and reaching a hand over her desk. "I'll instruct someone to make a room in the space next to Freddy's room right away." Vanessa started at her hand for a second. She looked up to Alice before she smiled and stood up as well. She took Alice's hand in her own. "Thank you, so much."
