CH 1

Hades God of the Dead and Riches,Lord of the Underworld,The Rich One,The Silent One and of so many other titles was currently having a very bad day

Why ?

Very simple his three day old daughter Typhon wanted to be a judge of the dead

Three days a go he just finished all the parchment work[1] for the day and which was currently at an all time high because of Alexander the great

Sure he is a great warrior descendant of Hercules and all but who had to deal with the dead he left behind

Ever since that King of conquerors left on his world domination plan Hades has been suffering from overworked not only did he conquere the lands he also spread the Greek culture (including burials procedures) increasing the number of dead souls overflowing into the underworld

So it's no surprise if Hades blew some steam off with his wife Phosphane and she got pregnant with a kid

Execpt this small girl despite being only 3 days old she had a appearance of a ten years old girl with large round red eyes that brimmed with defience and short messy deep-green hair that fell down to her chin-level and was stylized into a bob-cut of sorts. Her skin was caramel coloured and her face possessed an adorability expected in a goddess of her age.

A wreath of blue flowers of different shades decorated the top of her head, a blue armband on each arm, matching light blue scrunchies worn on both of her wrists, a pair of pieces of white material that covered her ankles and had a matching pair of blue flowers attached to them, and a white sundress with light blue lining and a row of blue flowers as its bottom hem.

" I want it! I want it! I want it! I want it! I want it " she yelled

"No !!" Hades answered back imbuding his voice with devine power causing some of the skeleton guards to back away while Alecto shifted uncomfortably

Typhon for her part just gave him a fierce pout

Originally, a panel of three living judges determined the fates of mortals in the Underworld right before they died. However, this system proved to be faulty, as the judges were susceptible to the lies and bribes of the people whom they tried. This resulted in evil souls charming their way into Elysium, while the truly benevolent ones were consigned to the Fields of Punishment for not meeting the judges' expectations.

When Hades took over as king of the Underworld, he visited Zeus on Olympus and suggested having the judges be a panel of spirits under his command, making it impossible for them to be influenced. Furthermore, souls would only be judged once they have entered the Underworld proper, where the judges would be able to see through deception and try the dead based on their good or bad deeds.

Zeus agreed to this, but only if the judges were all demigod sons of him. Rather reluctantly, Hades complied and appointed Minos, Aeacus, and Rhadamanthu

Even then the criteria to be a judge of the dead is that the person had shown great wisdom or fairness in life

So that presented three problems 1)Typhon was a daughter of Hades 2) She was only three days old 3) Her judgement method is definitely not helping the popularity rating of the Judgement pavallion

"Fine then why do you even want to be a Judge? "

"C-cus's I wanna punish sinners "

" That's all ? " Hades blinked suprised before composing himself " follow me"

Fields of punishment

Hades stood on a rocky path where he could can see a cracked wasteland, has rivers of lava and people chased by Hellhounds, burned at the stake and so many other types of torture

" Is this really alright my lord ? " Alecto asked hesitatingly as she glance at Typhon obliterated another unfortunate soul into pieces and feed him to the hellhound

Apparently she was able to sense whether an individual was good or bad merely by touching them. Furthermore, she could also tell whether the person in question felt any guilt for any past actions. If a person felt guilt, regardless of the size and context of the guilt or whether or not they were a good or a bad person,Typhon's power would have an affect on them

Under Typhon's gaze, the sinner would simply collapse into a collection of shards of themselves.

" She'll be fine" Hades said dismissively " Now that you mention it we don't have a god for punishment and torture do we ?"

" We do have a host of spirits called poinḗ (ποινή) who are the spirits pain, punishment, penalty "

" Good I declare Typhon as the goddess of punishment, penalty and princess of the poinḗ" he smiled he will really enjoy when his daughter shall realise how bad it is having a eternal job
