I've Got You Under My Skin

Quake

Phoebe walked through the crowd of people and made her way to the counter where she saw a woman she didn't recognize talking to Piper. "I'm going to kill him!" She said.

"Who?" Phoebe asked making her presence known to her sister. She looked around and only saw Sam and the woman there. "Sam?" She asked confused.

"Phoebe, she's talking about the guy who hired her," Sam clarified.

"Chef Moore, he, of the phony accent, hires me and then quits to open his new place. Thank you very much." Piper ranted to her sister.

The woman looked around, "I don't see any one else complaining, Piper," The woman said.

"Jess, I am not a restaurant tour. I am a chef I have no idea what I am doing." She said. "Phoebe, Jess. Jess. My sister Phoebe."

"Hi," Jess said with a smile. "Sam has told me a lot about you." She said and shook Phoebe's hand.

"Are you wearing my dress?" Piper asked her sister now that she stopped talking enough to register it in her mind.

A woman they all recognized walked up to them, "Hey, Brittney." Jess said.

"Hey, Oh I love the tattoo!" Phoebe said.

"Thanks," Brittany replied.

"I thought it was illegal to get them on your hand because of the veins." Phoebe pointed out.

"In the states yeah. I got it done in Tahiti." Brittanly said and handed some Money to Piper to pay for her meal. "Keep the change, Piper. I gotta jam. Sam, nice to see you as always and Jess of course." She added.

"Okay. Say hi to Max for us!" Piper said her goodbye and watched her walk out of the restaurant.

Piper handed a check to a waitress, "Table nine please." She said and then turned to Phoebe. "Now, back to my dress." She began.

Phoebe closed her eyes as a premonition came to her

Premonition

A guy walked up to her and whispered something to her

End of premonition

"Okay, see that poster boy to your left, Sam to your right?" She began. "Just glance don't be obvious." She added.

"I approve, who is he?" Piper asked.

"His name is Alec and he's about to come over and ask if he could buy me a martini." Phoebe explained to her sister and cousin.

"How do you know?" Piper asked.

"Phoebe, you didn't…" Sam began but was cut off.

"Sam, I'm going to go home. I have a big day tomorrow." Jess began as she got up and kissed her boyfriend on the cheek. "See you later." She said.

Phoebe smiled at the interaction between her cousin and his girlfriend, "Let's just say I solved the old age problem of who approaches who." She explained cryptically.

Sam turned to Piper as if to translate, "She had a premonition." He said.

"What?" Piper said dumbfounded. "You are not supposed to use your powers, we agreed." She explained.

"No, you guys agreed. I abstained. Besides it's not like I can control it. It just popped into my head." She defended herself.

"That's the whole point. None of us can control our powers. That's what scares me. I could panic and freeze the entire restaurant." Piper explained and then pointed to Sam, "Sam could throw us into a wall," She said in a hushed whisper.

Sam turned to her at that moment, "I don't think I'd be able to, the book says our powers don't work on good witches," he whispered back, careful not to let anyone overhear.

"Shh." Phoebe said as a guy got up. "Here he comes." She said.

Alec walked over to them, "I was just wondering if I could buy you a martini or something," Alec said as soon as he approached Phoebe.

"Martini, hmm. Imagine that." Phoebe said with a glance towards her sister, "I would love one. Its Alec, right?" She asked.

"Yeah, how'd you know my name?" He asked,

"Wild guess." She said, "Do you wanna grab a table?" She asked

"Yeah," Alec replied, and she got up.

"Prue is gonna be pissed." Piper said to her sister.

"So is Dean," Sam added.

"Newsflash stop worrying. You'll get wrinkles." She said and walked away with Alec.

Outside the restaurant, Britany walked to her car and got into it. She adjusted her rear-view mirror and was startled to find someone sitting in the back. She screamed as loud as she could before a hand covered her mouth.

Halliwell Manor

Dean had the newspaper in his hand and the laptop on the table while he drank a cup Coffee. He was looking for a case in town he could work. There were times he missed being out on the road hunting; but he really missed his family.

"What are you doing, bro?" Adam asked as he came into the kitchen and sat down across from Dean and pulled out some homework for school.

"Just looking for any cases here in town." He answered as if it was the most normal thing in the world. "Or surrounding areas." He said. "Now that we have powers I wanna stick around and see what happens." He added.

"Sounds like fun," Adam quipped as he began his homework. He then turned to his brother, "Do you really think Hunters will come after us?" He asked.

Dean nodded, "No." He answered. In truth, he had always been told by his father that Hunters didn't come to San Fransisco or surrounding areas. He immediately began to wonder if it was because of his Charmed Destiny.

Andy's Apartment

Andy had been asleep on his bed while Prue was sneaking around the room putting her clothes on. I cant believe I did this, she kicked herself and winced when Andy made a noise and rolled over. Close one. She thought to herself. Just as she gathered her shoes in her hands, the alarm clocked beeped. Jumping slightly, she turned to it and squinted her eyes the alarm clock flew out the window. No magic she told herself. She immediately left the apartment just before Andy could wake up after not feeling the alarm clock. "Prue!" He yelled.

Opening Credits

Jessica's apartment

Sam had waken up the next morning to the sound of Jess talking on the phone. "Okay. Well, let me know if you hear anything else." She said on the line. "If I see her, I'll call you. Bye max." She said and hung up the phone.

"Jess?" Sam asked. "Who was that?"

"Remember Brittney from last night?" She asked and waited for him to nod. "Well, that was her fiancé, and she never came home. He called me to ask if I had seen her." She explained.

"Oh. Is she missing?" Sam asked.

"I think so. It is so unlike her." Jessica said. "We just saw her last night and she was fine." Jess began to ponder the situation. She looked at the clock, "Oh my god! I got to go I am going to be late!" She said as she hurried up and collected her things. "You are so lucky you graduated college already." She said. "I'll see you later Sam." She said and left.

Sam got up and checked his alarm clock, 7:30 AM. It read. He remembered he was going to the Manor for breakfast with Piper. Getting up, he found his shoes on the other side of the room. Knowing Jess was out of the apartment, he flicked his finger towards him, and the pair of shoes slid across the room and directly in front of him. God, I love magic. He thought to himself and then remembered that thing about personal gain.

Halliwell Manor

Piper stood at the counter whisking some eggs watching what was on TV while Adam did some last-minute homework checks. "You know that isn't going to happen right?" He asked his older cousin.

Piper was about to say something when Prue walked into the kitchen, "Morning," She greeted.

"Morning." Piper returned.

"Mornin Prue." Adam said.

Prue looked at the Television, "What are you two watching?" She asked curiously.

"Nothing," Piper said quickly and turned it off. "Just a show." She added.

"About witches?" Prue asked. "Are you worried we are gonna be burned at the stake?" She asked.

Piper made an amusing laugh, "Yeah, right." She said and the quickly changed the subject. "By the way, Andy called." She said.

"When?" Prue asked,

"When you were in the shower." Piper answered her sister.

Prue slammed her hands on the counter, Adam put his coffee mug down on the table to eavesdrop on the conversation, "What did you tell him?" Prue demanded.

"That you were in the shower," Piper answered as if it was the most obvious answer in the world. "Bad date?" She asked.

"No. no, no, not at all." Prue began. "It was great. You know, dinner, movie, sex." She listed off.

"Excuse me?" Adam asked from his spot at the table and made puking noises. "I think I'm gonna be sick." He joked.

"On your first date?" Piper asked. "You sleaze."

"It wasn't exactly our first date, Piper," Prue reiterated to her sister. "Besides, Dean is the Sleaze of the family." She added as an afterthought.

Piper nodded in agreement followed by a slight laugh, "You're right."

Adam Piped up at that moment, "High school doesn't count, Prue." He said with a smirk. "That was last decade, and I would have been eight around the time that you two were together." He explained. He hugged his oldest cousin, "I have to get to school, love you both." He said as he walked out the back door.

"Spill it," Piper ordered lightly just as Prue walked through the door leaving the kitchen. "Ooh, That bad, huh?" Piper asked as she followed her older sister.

Prue nodded, "No actually, that good." Prue clarified now that it was just the two of them. "Well, we were amazing. But that's not the point. I told myself that things would be different. That we would take it slow. It just shouldn't have happened, that's all." She explained as her younger sister and cousin came down the stairs.

"What shouldn't have happened?" Sam asked curiously. "A warlock?" He asked.

"Prue slept with Andy," Piper said nonchalantly.

"What?" Sam asked trying to hide a small smirk that only Prue caught.

Prue turned to Piper, "Thanks a lot mouth." She said.

"Wait, you were gonna tell her but not us?" Phoebe whined. "Family meeting." She added.

Prue turned to her and quickly changed the subject, "Speaking of last night. What time did you end up rolling in?" She asked her youngest sister.

Phoebe nodded, "No, no, do not change the subject."

"Don't dodge the question." Prue retorted.

"It must have been after three." Piper chimed in as they all walked into the solarium and Prue sat down.

"I must still be on New York time." Phoebe joked.

"Actually, Pheebs, that would make it later." Sam remarked from his spot next to Piper.

"Or maybe her and Alec," Piper began

"Who's Alec?" Prue asked curiously.

"Some hottie she hit on at the restaurant." Piper replied quickly.

"Excuse me, where vision is history, he hit on me. Remember, the whole vision thing," She asked.

"Vision thing?" Prue asked, "Please tell me you didn't use your powers." She said.

Phoebe did not say anything but turned towards Piper and Sam. "Don't put us in the middle," Piper said.

"Both of you were born in the middle on your respective sides of the family." Prue explained. "Look, I thought that we agreed." She added.

"No, we didn't." Sam said. "You agreed. You laid down the Law, Prue. But Phoebe and I want to practice our powers. Dean and Piper aren't sure what to do and you are the only one that doesn't want to." He explained. "Well, I guess Adam is skeptical," He added as an after thought

"Sammy, Phoebe has to realize our powers aren't toys. We have to be careful, or they can get us killed." Prue explained, "I remember Dean mentioning hunters and how they are out there. Looking for people like us." She added.

"She's right," Piper defended her older sister. "We don't want any warlock or hunters finding us." She explained.

Phoebe defended herself at this moment, "Look, it was just a lousy premonition, that's all. Nobody died. Besides, you guys can't control your powers any better than I can." She said and turned to Piper. "And F.Y.I. nothing happened last night. At least nothing I'm ashamed of." She said with a quick glance at Prue.

"There is another reason we have to be careful." Prue said and quickly caught Sam's interest. "Andy thinks someone's abducting women in our area." She explained.

"Abducting woman?" Sam asked.

"What do you mean?" Phoebe replied.

"I mean warlocks and hunters aren't the only evils we have to watch out for." Prue explained as she got out of her seat. "And F.Y.I. I'm not ashamed of anything." She said.

Prue looked around, "Where is Dean by the way?" She asked.

"Doing what Dean does best and looking for a case around town." He explained. "Look, I don't like it any more than you do, Prue. But Dean and I are the Hunters of the family, and we have our own code for protecting the innocent as well." He explained. "I have to go see Jess." He explained and made his way towards the door.

San Francisco PD

Andy looked at a picture of Brittney in his hands and Max, her fiancé was talking to him. "She didn't come home at all last night," he said glancing between the two detectives. Morris looked at the picture as well. "That's not like Brittney believe me." He said.

Darryl turned to him, "Tell me, Max. what did did she leave to go to Quake?" he asked.

"8:30. Shje called around ten and said she was comijgn home, but I am really worried." He explained.

"Chances are she'll show up. Usually do. The best thing to do right now is to go home and see if she calls, all right. Will you do that?" Andy asked.

"Yeah, Thanks." Max said as he got up and left he building

Andy turned to Darryl, "Fourth one this week,"

"Yeah, well, they can't just be disappearing into thin air." Darryl countered.

Andy looked at him, "At least we narrowed down his feeding pool to the area around the restaurant."

"Yeah, tell your sweetie to lock the door at night." Darryl said

Jessica Moore's apartment

Sam and Jessica were spending lunch time together. "Sam, tomorrow you have that thing for Berkely." Jess stated. "Just before Law School I think there is some kind of test to determine if you understand the material." She explained.

"Yes, I know the university told me." He explained with a smile.

There was a sudden knock on the door that caused the couple to jump. At the shock of the knocking, one of the dishes on the counter fell to the floor. Just as Sam went to go open the door. "Dean?" He asked. "What are you doing here?" He asked

"I caught a case that might involve the Power of…Oh hi Jess." Dean cut himself off as he saw Jess approach them.

Jess smiled, "Hey Dean." She said. "Nice to see you again. What you got there?" She asked.

"Oh. Nothing." Dean said. He began to panic. "Just something from the mail that I wanted am to see." He fabricated.

Sam frowned and said, "Why don't we take this back to the Manor?" He asked and turned to his girlfriend. "You and I will get together later. How about tonight, 10 pm at Quake? I'm sure Piper wouldn't mind if the two of us stayed after hours to help clean up if we need to." He suggested.

Jess smiled, "I'd like that." She said, "See you Sam," She added and kissed him.

~PO3~

After Sam and Jess said goodbye he and Dean were in the impala. Sam was looking over the case and Dean, of course, was driving. "So, women are disappearing?" Sam asked.

Dean nodded, "It reminds me of something Dad told me about a long time ago. And I did some digging and found this happened a thousand years ago." He explained. "All in the same area here in San Francisco."

That is when Sam suddenly remembered what Prue said. "That is what Prue said earlier. Andy told her about woman being abducted in the area." He explained.

"Well, that saves up from having to go to the cops. But I do have a lead." Dean said.

"Which is?" Sam prompted.

"Brittney Reynolds. Hold on. We are going to her fiancés place." He explained as he floored it.

It was at that moment Sam remembered Jess saying something about Brittney being missing.

Brittney Reynolds house

Dean knocked on the door with Sam right behind him both dressed in suits. "I don't know how comfortable I am with this Dean." He said "I mean, what if Andy were to find out about this. He knows us." Sam hesitated, "I should wait in the car. Max might know who I am." He said and made his way back to the impala.

Before Dean could reply the door opened, "Agent Freely." He said as he held up his badge. "I'd like to follow up on your missing persons case." Dean said professionally.

Max let him into the house and began to talk, "It just isn't like Britney to not come home. She went to the restaurant Quake and then I haven't heard from her." He explained. "Last I knew she was on her way home around 10 o clock." He repeated what he told Andy and Darryl.

"Have you noticed any lights flickering? Or maybe someone following her?" Dean asked. He always hated sounding like a crazy person but they were necessary questions.

Max thought about it and then looked thoughtful, "Now that you mention it. She did say something about someone following her. I'm sorry that's really all I remember." He said.

"I will contact you if I have any more questions." Dean said and made his way back to the Impala to see Sam.

Buckland Auction House

"Hold the door!" Prue yelled as she hastily made her way to the elevator. When she made it in, her briefcase fell to the floor dropping Everything inside it. "Damn it," She cursed aloud and bend down to pick everything up. She looked at the man standing there, "Can you push twelve, please?" She asked.

The man hit the button and said, "Here let me help," And bent down to help her. He picked up some old papers "Eighteenth century French art." He asked questioningly. "Do you work in the auction house?"

"No just interviewing. If I ever get there in time. Don't let me get my King Louies mixed up." She said as soon as they stood back up.

Her phone rang at that moment, "Hello?" She answered struggling to hold all of her items. "Uh, Andy, how did you get this number?" She asked.

"I'm a detective remember?" His voice drifted from the other line. "Prue, I think we should talk."

"Yeah, it's just that I am really late for this interview." She spoke.

It seemed as though Andy ignored her and continued on with his conversation, "I didn't mean for what happened last night to happen, Prue. You have to know that."

Prue rolled her eyes slightly, "Of course, I'm you know, totally wrong for it anyways, stuffy old auction house. Don't know why they even called." She said quickly. She didn't want to have that conversation right now.

"Come on, Prue. Listen to me. We've known each other for a long time. We just couldn't help ourselves. It's nothing to be ashamed of." Andy's voice said on the other line.

Prue was getting irritated as more people were getting on the elevator, "I know, Andy." She said.

"All we did was make love"

"I know, Andy." She said frustrated

"Talk to me, help me out here Prue. Why'd you sneak out like that?" He demanded to know.

Prue took a deep breath, "I did not sneak out. Right, you were asleep. I didn't want to wake you. And I did write, you know, I just didn't leave it." She explained and the phone crackled. "Hello? Hello?" She hung up the phone when she didn't get a response.

She put her phone away and looked at the numbers above the elevator, they were only passing the seventh floor. Just as the door on the elevator started to open. Prue squinted her eyes and made the doors stay closed. "Hey, I missed my floor!" One of the people in the elevator said.

Prue continued to use her power until they reached the top floor and the doors opened. "That was strange. Lucky you, huh?" The guy said.

"Yeah, I'm charmed alright." Prue said as she marched out of the elevator.

Quake

Phoebe pushed through the crowded restaurant to reach the bar, trying not to run into anyone and handed a bill folder to a guy sitting at the bar with a woman. "Here you go," she spoke, handing it to the man who reached out for it.

"Thank you," he responded gratefully.

Phoebe looked at the young man sitting there, she couldn't take her eyes off of him, "Excuse me, but aren't you, Stefan?" she asked.

Stefan glanced back up at her, smiling. "Yes," He answered honestly. "I'm sorry, but do we know each other?" he questioned, looking at her curiously.

"Oh, highly doubtful. I'm just familiar with your work. Like everyone else in the world," she admitted.

"Well, I don't know about that, but I'll always take a compliment from a gorgeous woman," Stefan replied and smiled at Phoebe which caused look back toward the woman he was sitting with.

"I'm sure your girlfriend must appreciate that," Phoebe answered, trying to judge her reaction.

Stefan leaned closer to Phoebe. "She's not my girlfriend," he whispered pointedly.

"Then why are you whispering?" Phoebe whispered back.

The woman frowned in anger and jumped up from the bar. "Excuse me," she hissed, pushing between Phoebe and Stefan.

"Oh… oh, okay," Phoebe murmured, putting her hands up dramatically in innocence. Stefan turned around to watch her leave and Phoebe stepped back forward. "Well, it was really nice meeting you," she said and turned away.

"You too," Stefan said distractedly, watching the woman he was with leave, and then reached out to stop Phoebe from leaving. "Listen. I'm in town for a couple days doing a Porsche shoot. If you're interested, stop by." He said grabbing a napkin and wrote his address down and gave it to her, "I'd love to photograph you. You do model, don't you?" He asked

Phoebe stared in surprise "In my dreams… yeah," she admitted as she grabbed the napkin and glanced down at the napkin excitedly before turning away.

As she walked away Piper walked up to her and grabbed her arms, "A driver has called in sick. Can you do a quick delivery?" Piper pleaded desperately.

"Sure," She answered but didn't move, "Is that guy at the bar staring at me?" she asked

Piper quickly glanced to the bar behind her. "A lot of guys at the bar are staring at you," Piper said in a haste, a hint of sarcasm in her voice

"The one at the far end. Tall, dark, brooding, very New York," Phoebe described Stefan.

Piper glanced over again for a split second "Sorry, no," she answered and hurried off back to work. Curious, Phoebe looked back where Stefan had been to find him gone. Her gaze flickered back to the napkin with his address on it and she smiled.

Halliwell Manor

Sam sat in the conservatory with the research papers he and Dean had acquired, while Dean was out trying to get ahold of their father.

"Interesting," Sam sighed to himself and looked on his laptop to find hundreds of legends on missing woman. "This will take me at least a week to get through all of these." He muttered to himself.

He soon found himself going through the Book of Shadows, not for research but because he was very interested to see if any creatures, he and his brother and father had faced while he was growing up.

The ring of the House phone threw him out of his curiosity, "Hello?" He said as he put the phone to his ear.

"Sam?" The voice on the other end said.

"Andy?" He asked.

"Sorry, I was looking for Prue. She isn't home yet, is she?" Andy asked hopefully.

Sam shook his head, "No. sorry." He used this opportunity to ask Andy about the case. "Hey, Andy, my girlfriend Jessica. She is good friends with Brittney is there any new leads to the case?" He asked.

"Sam, you know I can't talk about an in going investigation." Andy sighed.

"I just wish there was some way we knew what happened, is all." Sam stated as the Book of Shadows opened and began flipping pages on its own accord. "What the…," He said distractedly.

"Will you just tell Prue that I called?" He asked.

"Okay." Sam said clicking the phone off as the Book stopped on a page.

Buckland Auction House

"He's seen your resume and is very impressed." A blonde woman said as she and Prue walked through an area in a hallway. "I gotta tell you, he's already blown out six other applicants." She continued as they stopped in front a set of doors.

"I still don't know why he's interested," Prue began with a tone of confusion, "I never even applied." She added.

"He's likes what you did at the museum. Even though your ex-boss trashed you. What's roger got against you anyway?" The blond woman asked

"Hard to say," Prue stated. "Unless shattering his ego counts for something. He's also my ex-fiancé." She admitted.

"Got it. You ready?" The blonde woman asked.

"Yeah," Prue nodded, and the blond woman opened the doors.

They walked into the office, "Rex Buckland, this is Prue Halliwell. Interviewing for the new specialist." She greeted as the man named Rex turned around.

Prue's eyes widened as she recognized him as the man from the elevator. "Actually, we've already met." Rex said. "Welcome to my 'stuffy old auction house,'." he said, making it clear he heard when she said on the phone and offered his hand for her to shake.

Impala

Dean had the impala parked outside the house with his cell phone to his ear, "Dad? Where are you? It's been at least a week since Sam, Adam and I, and the girls received our powers. Call me back. I need answers. I don't know if we are good. If we're evil." This had been a recurring thing for Dean. He would try calling his father as often as he could only to receive no answer.

When he hung up the phone, he suddenly received another call, "Dad?" He answered quickly and hopefully.

"No. it's me," A gruff voice said on the other end.

"Bobby." Dean said and smiled at the voice. "What can I do for you? A hunt nearby?" He asked.

"Actually, your daddy called me about a week ago. Right around the time you said you got back to San Francisco." Bobby explained.

"You talked to him? I have so many questions about…" He began but cut himself off.

"About those magic powers you acquired," Bobby asked knowingly.

"How did you?"

"Your daddy told me a long time ago about you boys and your cousins," Bobby quickly explained. "You guys are good witches Dean. Nothing you need to destroy or get rid of," He explained.

"Wait, if you know then other hunters know, and if other hunters know we are…"

"Just fine, Dean." Bobby interrupted. "Every hunter in the world knows of the legend of the Charmed Ones. Why do you think none have ever gone to San Francisco?" He asked.

It was all too much information for Dean to process all at once. When he remained silent Bobby continued, "Because they all know that is where the Charmed Ones are. And surrounding areas, some hunters don't even bother with California, others are still waiting for you and your family to come into your powers." He continued further. "Only a select few hunters, like myself know who you boys are. The hunters John trusted the most know the true identity of the Charmed Ones." He added. "Do what you will with this information. But you cant get rid of your powers, that would be a mistake to your Grams and your father who have been preparing you to take on your Powers and to take on all the evils of the world." He concluded.

Dean was filled with relief when he found out Hunters would not come after him or his family. But they all knew of the legend of the Charmed Ones? Dean still was not that convinced of that theory. He would have to talk to his father before anything else. "Bobby, there is something here in town. Abducting woman. Then they disappear altogether." Dean explained.

A rustle of papers was heard on the other line, "Let me look in some of my books and give you a call back. Dean, if you ever need anything, you your brothers or cousins, don't hesitate to call me." Bobby said.

"Alright Bobby. I will." He said and hung up his phone.

Buckland Auction House

Prue sat at the chair at the other end of the Desk while Rex sat in his office chair, "How many divisions did you correct?" He asked her curiously.

"Seven." Prue answered immediately. "Including the colonist estate. It should be on my resume." She pointed out that last part.

"Franklin Carlton." Rex said. "That's quite a coup." He said.

"Well, I tend to be on the persistent side. I usually get what I want." Prue said confidently.

"A no doubter. It's a shame though you think your, how did you put it in the elevator, 'Totally wrong for the job' was it?" He asked.

She looked at him incredulous, "That was a private phone conversation." She said.

"Hardly."

"You called me remember. Not the other way around." Prue said and stood up. "And while we're at it, I think it's incredibly unfair that you eavesdrop on a private call and then misjudge me based entirely on that you thought you heard." She added.

Rex looks at her, "I apologize. It was unfair of me." He spoke. "I am new of all this. I've only just taken over the house from my father, so I'm very protective of it. But knowing that, what you did at the museum, attracting the younger market, it's totally consistent of what I want to do there. It's just when all these qualifications are signed. It's very important to me that whoever I hire, truly wants to be here." The intercom beeped at that moment, "Yep." He said into it.

"Excuse me, Mr. Buckland. Your next interview is waiting. Should I reschedule him?" The secretary asked.

"No, I think we're done here." He said.

Prue collected her things, "Well, thanks for your time." She said and began walking towards the door. She stopped when she approached it and turned around. "My area of expertise ranges from Ming Dynasty to a Mark McGuire Ricky baseball card. You name it - I can identify it. Now, I may not of sought this job originally, but I do want it. And I am definitely right for it." And with that she walked out of the office.

Her phone began to ring at that moment without even looking at who it was she answered, "Andy. Now is not the time!" She hissed into it.

"Whoa," Sam's voice drifted from the other end. "I'd hate to be him." He added.

Prue visibly calmed after hearing her middle cousins voice on the other line, "Sammy," She breathed out. "Why are you calling? Is everything okay?" She asked.

"Relax Prue, I am fine. I am just calling to let you Know that Andy keeps calling the house, I am trying to do my research. I told him you weren't in the mood to talk, and he got the hint. I hope." Sam explained on the other end.

Prue heard what he said, "Research? On the missing woman?" Prue asked.

"Yeah, Dean doesn't think it's one of our hunting things," He explained. "But I have a gut feeling on this one," Sam stated.

That's another reason the two were a lot alike, Sam relied on his instincts as much as Prue relied on hers. "Do you want me to come home and help you?" She asked.

"If I need help, I will call. Besides Dean is trying to get ahold of dad to see if he knows anything. About the case or about us," He added.

Prue loved her Uncle John; he was more a father to her than her own father was. "Well, if you hear from him, tell him I said hello." She said. "I gotta go Sammy," she said and hung up the phone.

Halliwell Manor

After hanging up the phone, Sam heard the front door open, "Pheebs?" He called out. "Are you done helping Piper already?" He asked when Dean walked into the conservatory. "Oh. Hey Dean." He said.

"Find anything?" He asked.

Sam nodded, "I did, I found that there is a demon named 'Javna' who comes every thousand years to steal the life force of the young." He said turning the Book of Shadows to show Dean. "But I don't think its here because the woman disappeared and no mysterious old woman walking around." He said.

"I spoke to Bobby, and he is going to look into it as well," Dean stated. "By the way, he knows about us, our powers." He added.

Sam looked at him with shocked and confused eyes, "How?" He asked.

"I guess Dad told a select few hunters, the ones he trusted the most, about us. Bobby said all hunters know of the legend of the Charmed Ones, that's why we wont ever run into any here in California." He explained the gist.

"Wait, so dad knows, about us, what we really are, why isn't he here to tell us himself?" Sam asked.

"I guess he is on his own hunt." Dean lied. He didn't actually know what his father was doing but he didn't want to worry his brother about it unless he absolutely had too.

Sam shook his head frustratedly, "Whatever he is facing, it better not require the Power of Three." He said and got up and walked out of the room.

Normally Sam would argue with his brother tooth and nail about his father, but that had gotten him nowhere in the past. Now that he was a witch, he didn't know what his telekinetic abilities could do. Prue's power worked a lot better when she is upset. But what about his? He needed to find his trigger and then focus his emotions. And that's what he was going to do, he grabbed his keys and slammed the front door behind him.

Dean looked at the page of the book that was opened. "Now how do e get rid of this Javna?" He asked himself as he opened Sam's computer and did the research on the name.

Quake

Outside the restaurant, Andy and Darryl were on a stake out, looking at the pictures of the missing woman.

"What do you want me to say? Something just doesn't feel right to me about this. I can't help it," Andy said.

"Here we go again," Darryl muttered, making himself comfortable.

Andy ignored him and continued. "I mean, where are they alright? What's this guy doing with these poor women?"

Darryl smirked and turned towards his partner, "Thinking an alien abduction, are you?" Darryl joked, causing Andy to turn and glare at him.

"I'm serious, Morris," he said and turned back to look out the window. Darryl frowned "I know. That's what scares me," he admitted "Let me guess. Favorite movie growing up… Ghostbusters? Am I right?"

Andy smiled and turned to face his partner, "Actually I think that was Sam's favorite movie growing up." He said.

Darryl sighed at the comment, "Look, we have a crazy, Trudeau. Likes the pretty ladies. That's it. The end. If he comes back looking for more, we're gonna grab him, tag him, make the world a safer place. Is that too hard to follow?" he explained.

Andy nodded in agreement and Darryl looked out his window. "Evil Dead II," Andy replied to Darryl's earlier comment. Darryl looked back at him in confusion. Andy grinned and explained. "Favorite movie growing up. Just for the record. Dean had gotten me into it one day."

Darryl smiled and Andy looked back out his window to catch sight of Prue and Adam getting out of Prue's car and entering the restaurant. "The bank across the street. I think we should grab the ATM tapes and see if…" Darryl trailed off as he heard the door of the car open as Andy got out of the car. "Whoa… Whoa. Where are you going?" he asked. Andy pointed silently and Darryl began to shake his head. "No, no, forget it, Romeo. You're not blowing our cover."

"Come on, Morris, cut me some slack. I have to talk to her," he said and glanced back behind him to where Prue had just disappeared. "Please, just five minutes. That's all I need," he added.

Darryl pointed at his watch silently saying he was keeping time. Andy hastily set the timer on his watch and went into the building.

Inside the restaurant Prue and Adam had there arms linked together, "Gee, Prue, slow down. We don't want to run into anyone," he said.

"Sorry," Was her short reply as they found Piper talking to her employees.

Prue grabbed her sister, "You didn't give Andy my cell phone number by chance, did you?" She asked.

"No, why? Piper asked.

"Never mind," Prue replied seeing how distracted her sister was.

"Remind me, I wanted to do this for a living right?" Piper asked.

"Looks like you're the only one of us who is going to be doing anything for a living. I think I blew my interview," Prue explained.

"I can't imagine you less than stellar." Piper quipped.

Prue was about to say something, when Adam nudged her, "Oh my god!" He said. "What is Phoebe doing here?" He asked

"Flirting," Piper deadpanned.

Prue looked closely at her baby sister, "Yeah, and she's wearing Armani. Where did she get that?" She asked.

"Not from my closet. I gotta go." Piper said quickly and walked into the kitchen.

Prue pulled Adam with her to where Phoebe was sitting, "Prue, Adam hi." Phoebe smiled and turned to Stefan. "This is my other sister Prue and my youngest cousin Adam." She introduced.

Stefan stood up and shook both of there hands, "Pleasure," He said.

"Likewise," Prue smiled and then turned to Phoebe, "Nice dress." She said.

"Don't worry, it's not yours." Phoebe explained.

"I know, I could never afford it." Prue quipped to her sister.

Phoebe turned to Stefan, "Will you excuse me for one minute?" She asked. "I'll be right back." She added and followed her sister into the kitchen.

Adam got a strange feeling from the man in front of him, "Wait!" He hollered through the restaurant and followed his two older cousins.

Stefan looked at his hand and found it turning old and wrinkly.

~PO3~

"What do you mean you charged it? How are you going to pay for that? Your broke." Prue said as she her sister and cousin made it into the kitchen.

"Not for long," Phoebe said.

"What does that mean? You didn't use your powers again?" Prue asked incredulous.

"Maybe. Are you saying you haven't?" Phoebe countered.

"No, I'm not telling you that. But we're not talking about me, are we?" Prue retorted.

"What are you guys doing in here?" Piper asked ss she approached her sister and cousin.

"The same thing they've done at home since Phoebe returned." Adam began.

"What do you do? Go to the tracks, play the market, what?" Prue asked

"The Lottery," Phoebe admitted.

"Phoebe!" Piper scolded.

"Why don't we all try and calm down?" Adam began trying to de-escalate the situation.

"What did you want me to do?" Phoebe asked her older sister. "Ignore the premonition? Not help a needy family. That's hat we're supposed to do right?" she asked.

"No!" Prue shouted. "We are not supposed to use our powers for our own personal gain. That's what it says in the Book of Shadows!" she added her voice loud.

"Not so loud," Piper pleaded with her sisters.

"Guys!" Adam shouted, he wished Sam was here, he was the best at de-escalating the rivalry of the youngest and the oldest of the sisters.

"You said we needed money, right?" Phoebe asked. "Well I'm getting some."

"So, get a job like everyone else." Prue countered.

"I'm using my mind instead." Phoebe argued.

The doors to the kitchen opened at that moment, "Prue?" Andy said as he came in.

Andy ran into a guy carrying way too many plates, "Watch it!" Piper yelled throwing her hands out. Everything froze. "Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no, not again." Piper complained to herself.

"Now, Look what you've done," Prue said loudly, although it seemed loud with everything frozen.

"This is my fault?" Phoebe asked.

"Well, this is the first time I've seen this," Adam said as he looked at everything around him frozen.

"You guys aren't freezing?" Piper asked shocked to see her sisters and cousin still moving.

"I guess it doesn't work on witches," Phoebe observed out loud.

"Piper, how long does this last?" Adam asked as he looked in shock at everything frozen.

"I don't know, not long," Piper answered.

Prue walked to the door and saw that the entire area outside the kitchen was unfrozen. "Uh, it doesn't work out there either." She stated as she turned to face her sisters.

"Oh, tell me this isn't happening," Piper said about ready to cry. She was so nervous her eyes began to tear up.

Adam looked out the door and saw Darryl walk into the building, "Oh, Andy's partner just came in and he's headed this way!" Adam announced.

"What are we gonna do?" Piper asked.

"Stall him, Phoebe answered right away.

For Once Prue was in agreement with her youngest sister and pushed Adam out of the door, he turned back to glare at her only to glare at the door instead. "She is so lucky I love her," He muttered to himself. "Hey, inspector Morris, right?" He asked

"That's right. Is Trudeau in there?" He asked trying to push his way past Adam.

"You mean Andy? Is his last name Trudeau?" Adam feigned, trying to buy the sisters more time to get everything unfrozen. "I had no idea!" He said loudly as he began walking backwards towards the door as Darryl continued to push past him.

~PO3~

Back inside the kitchen, Phoebe fanned Piper with a menu, "Okay, Breathe, Piper, breathe," She ordered lightly.

"Stop!" They heard Adam's voice say and Darryl opened the door. Luckily for everyone the freeze wore off at that moment. Plates falling to the ground and breaking.

"I really think we should…" Andy cut himself off as soon as he saw Darryl. "Talk, what are you doing here? I thought I had five minutes," He reminded.

Darryl held out his wrist, "Yeah, I gave you ten," He said showing Andy his own watch.

"Guys, we're really busy in here!" Piper yelled at the two detectives.

"Yeah, Sure," Andy said.

"I'll call you later. I promise." Prue said to him.

"Okay," Andy replied.

"Bye!" Phoebe said, perhaps a little too cheerful trying to get them to leave.

When they walked out Piper leaned into Phoebe, "I hate being a witch," She whispered and then went on about her night at work. Phoebe just standing there, at a loss for words of what just happened.

Wherever Sam is…

Sam drove his car to an abandoned park in San Francisco. He decided it was time to get a handle on his powers. He didn't want to have lost control of them in case he needed them on a hunt. He got out of the car and looked around.

He placed one of his guns on the ground and went back to stand by his car. He waved his hand. He was aiming at the gun when a rock a few feet away from it flew through the air. "Dammit!" He yelled. He shook his hands and then tried waved his right arm again. The gun slid across the cement. "Yes!" Sam said as he did what he desired. "I wonder…" He said and made the 'Come hither' motion with his finger and the gun flew right into his hands.

He looked at the rock that was on the ground. He was about to do something else when his phone started ringing. "Yeah?" He asked.

"Sam." The voice on the other end said.

Sam had a look of confusion in his eyes, "Bobby?" He asked

"Hey, Dean told me what's going on. About your case." He said. "I have some answers for you."

"So, there is something here?" Sam asked as he got back into his car.

"Yes." Bobby said. "But I haven't found a way to kill it." He added.

Sam ran a hand through his hair, "That's okay I can look in the Book of…" He cut himself off.

"I already know about your powers, boy," Bobby said. "As I told Dean your daddy told me along time ago."

"So, you're not going to come kill me and my family?" He joked but sounded serious.

"Hell no. idgit." Bobby replied. "Look, maybe your newfound powers can help you with whatever your case is. Trust them." He said. "I got to go, Sam. Keep in touch. Okay?" He said and with that he hung up the phone.

Sam looked at the time. 9pm. It was getting close to the time he had told Jess he would be at Quake.

Quake

After the sisters made a scene in the kitchen, the environment was tense. Sam walked in and saw Jessica sitting in a booth waiting for him. "Sam!" She called through the crowd.

"Hey," He smiled and made his way over to the table and sat across from her. "How are you?" He asked.

"Fine." She replied shortly. "Sam, you have been distant lately. Like distracted by something." She explained. "And that worries me. Is your broter in any kind fo trouble?" She asked.

"No," Sam answered immediately. "Things at home have just been difficult since Phoebe got back," He explained with a frown.

"We always use to spend the day together. Now you spend time with your cousins and your brothers. Not that I mind that, I know family means the world to you. But it makes me feel less important." She admitted that last part.

"shhh. Jess." He whispered. "I am here. I am not going anywhere. In fact, when we're done here, why don't we go to the Manor tonight. We can spend the night at the house like we use too." He smiled. Remembering how Grams loved and treated her like her own granddaughter. Basically what Sam wanted, Sam got when it came to him and Jess with Grams.

Jess returned the smile, "I would like that." She had tears brimming in her eyes, "Although this time your Grams isn't there to make me a cup of hot tea and tell me she knew I was there." She smiled at the memory.

"Ready to order?" A waitress said.

The two of them continued there date well into the late hours and the restaurant was closing.

Halliwell Manor

The next day, Piper was in the attic looking in the Book of Shadows. When Adam walked in, "Hey, Piper, what are you doin?" He asked.

Piper glanced up at him, "Reading. Thinking." She answered.

"About?" He pressed.

"About how totally screwed we are now that we are witches." She admitted.

Adam sighed, "I completely get the feeling." He said. "Ever since we got our powers, I've had this nagging feeling that something isn't right. I can't seem to control when I get my visions. Dean said…" He began but Piper cut him off.

"Dean doesn't understand, neither does Phoebe. They're never afraid of anything. I envy that about both of them. I always have," She explained.

Adam let out a slight laugh, "Well, it doesn't work for Dean. he's always getting onto trouble. Same with Phoebe. Why do you think she looked up to him growing up?" He asked.

Piper chuckled slightly at that comment before her frown returned, "It's like our lives have been like everybody else. Rushing off to work, going out on bad dates, buying shoes and suddenly we wake up one day and everything is different. We're witches now. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing." She explained. "And with Hunters out there. Who knows what could happen." She added.

Adam smirked knowingly, "Dean told me last night that Hunters don't come to California." He stated. And Piper turned to him curiously, "Apparently Hunters know of the legend of the Charmed Ones. And that we can handle just about anything." He stated. "So that's one thing to mark off your list of worries Piper."

Piper sighed, "We don't know anything about these powers. Why we have them, what they mean, where they come from. I mean, how do we know it's not... how do we know it's not from evil?" She asked. "Even though the Book says they're not. I need confirmation." She added. "What about Jeremy? What about all the other warlocks he said would be coming after us. How do we know we're not just like them? That is what scares me. We don't know. I just wanna be normal again. As messed up as that was. Is that too much to ask for?"

Adam didn't dare interrupt his cousin, he was feeling the exact same way, but he knew exactly what to say, "Piper, listen to me. You are the sweetest, most caring person I've ever met." He began and she laughed slightly, "No, I mean that, you are. You're always there to help anybody, even strangers. You've been doing it your whole life. I remember one day, Dad came home and took Dean somewhere, and you wanted to help so bad you had a suitcase at the door ready to go with him. That was the one day I can actually remember that he stayed and spent time with all of us. So, there's no way you've been given this, this gift if it wasn't to do good things with it. To protect the innocent just like the Book of Shadows said. Besides, if anyone is concerned of being bad, it's Phoebe or Dean, right?" he asked and Piper laughed "You've got nothing to be afraid of."

He got up and walked out of the attic. "I think I just convinced myself," He said to himself as he made it down the stairs.

~PO3~

Adam was in the conservatory, looking at the research papers Sam had laid out the night before. "What is all this?" He asked himself. He kept himself busy, or tried to, to distract himself from the powers he now possessed. they scared him. He had no idea what was going on, none of his cousins or brothers did. They were going about this 'Charmed' thing blindly.

"Javna?" He asked as he saw the name. when he grabbed the paper he was pulled into a premonition

Premonition

Phoebe lied strapped to a table with an old demon shooting beams into her eyes

End of Premonition

"Pheebs," He whispered. He reached into his pocket and grabbed his cell phone that Dean had recently bought him and dialed a number. "Come on Phoebe, answer the damn phone," He said to himself.

"Hi, you've reached Phoebe. Leave your name and number." He heard on the other end.

"Dammit!" He yelled and ran up stairs.

Adam walked up to a closed door on the second floor and knocked, "Sammy?" He asked. "Open up!" He said in a panic.

The door opened quickly, "Adam?" Sam asked as it looked like he had just woken up, "What's going on?"

"Sam, Phoebe, she's in trouble. I had a premonition…" Before he could say anything else. Sam pulled him slightly away from the door and closed it.

"Not so loud, Jess is sleeping." He said making it clear she was in the house. "What did you see?" He asked quietly.

Adam heaved a stressed sigh, "Phoebe. She was strapped to a table and a demon shot beams into her eyes. It happened when I touched this," he said and handed the paper with his research of Javna to Sam.

Sam's eyes widened in fear, "Phoebe?" He asked and Adam nodded, "Dean and I have been looking for this demon. Dean is out there right now trying to find leads on it." He explained.

"Look, you call him and see if he found any leads, I'm going to go check the Book of Shadows and see if there is anything in there on this demon." Adam said taking off up the stairs. "I'll also inform Piper," He added.

~PO3~

Adam walked into the attic to find the Book back on the pedestal, but Piper no where to be seen. He walked straight towards the book and began his search for the demon.

Quake

Prue and Andy sat at a table when a waitress put down to cups of coffee in front of them, "Thanks." Andy told the waitress who walked away after acknowledging she heard him.

"Uh Andy," Prue began but he said something at the same time.

"Look, Prue,"

"You go first," Prue said.

Andy took that as his que, "I'm not sorry it happened, Prue." He said.

"Well, I have to be honest with you, Andy, I am. I mean, not because I didn't enjoy it, I did. Especially the, um..."

"Yeah that was great," Andy said with a smile.

"And of course, so was the, uh," She said knowingly.

"That was nice too." Andy smiled.

"Yeah, but you know, that snot the point, its…I haven't seen you in almost seven years." She began to explain. "Just starting right back where we left off is…"

"I know, I know, believe me. I just wanna know why you left, that's all. Why cant you tell me? Whats the big secret?" He asked

Prue shook her head, "Believe me, you don't want to know." She said.

"Try me," He said with a small smirk.

"Well, my life, it's gotten a little complicated and I just don't think that I should get involved in anything right now." She explained.

"Prue, we had sex, it doesn't mean we have to elope." He said. "Okay, how about this, why don't we just pretend it never happened?"

"Do you want me to toss you a life preserver now, or just let you sink on your own?" Prue asked with a hint of sarcasm and tease.

Andy laughed at that, "No, I'm serious. Why don't you just count that one as part of our old relationship and we'll slow down, we'll start over. Prue, we've been given a second chance here, I don't wanna blow it this time." He explained just as Prue's phone rang and Andy's pager beeped. "Dating in the nineties." He muttered grabbing his pager.

Prue turned to Andy, "Excuse me," she said with a frustrated laugh and answered her phone. "Hello? Uh yeah, absolutely, I'm sure I can make that. Okay thanks." She said into the phone and hung up. "I don't believe it, that was the Auction House, they want me to come back in for a second interview. "Uh, just give me a little time to think things over, okay?" She asked him after she stood up.

Andy didn't reply but just looked at her with a hint of sadness in his eyes. But nevertheless he agreed.

Outside the Church

Piper sat in her car scowling at the main door to the church, "I have nothing to be afraid of. I have nothing to be afraid of." She repeated to herself as she got out of the car and began to walk over to the church door She grabbed onto the Handle and pulled it open and put one foot inside to make sure nothing happened when she did. She steps inside completely and smile, "I'm good!" She cheered and closed the door and began walking back down the stairs. She saw an old woman looking at her and Piper walked up to her and saw the tattoo on her hand and instantly recognized it. "Brittney?" She asked.

"You know me?" the woman asked. "I-is that my name?" She asked.

Buckland Auction House

"Prue, thank you so much for coming back," Rex said as soon as he saw her. He had been waiting for her to arrive.

"Well, thanks for having me back, although I must admit. I didn't expect it." She said as the two shook hands.

"Well, I told you I was interested and I am. First of all, I decided to test your expertise, if you don't mind. See how good you really are," He said as they began to walk to a different part of the hallway. And saw a woman looking at a painting, "This is Hannah Webster, one of our assistant specialists. This is Prue Halliwell," he introduced them and Prue and Hannah shook hands.

"Hi, nice to meet you," Prue greeted with a smile.

Hannah didn't say anything which made Prue's smile falter slightly.

"Please, tell us about this piece," Rex prompted and pointed to a painting on a easle.

"Prue looked it over, "Well, Madonna of Meadow, Giovanni Bellini, 16th century, fabulous piece. Worth 3, 4 million dollars easily if it wasn't a copy"

"What makes you think it's a copy?" Hannah asked.

"Too well preserved, no yellowing. Besides, the frame support is in pine and Italian painters used poplar back then." Prue explained in great detail.

"Um, what about this one?" Rex asked, impressed with the response she gave about the painting.

Prue looked at the small sculpture and said, "Daygar. Actually, this was the only sculpture he exhibited himself." She pointed out matter of fact like.

Hannah 'bumped' into a ladder and a paint can tipped over, "Watch out!" Rex said and Prue held up hands above her head. The paint deviated away from her, she unknowingly used her power from her hands; the paint getting all over Hannah's shoes.. "Are you okay?" Rex asked Prue.

"Uh, Yeah, I'm okay," Prue said in shock that the paint didn't hit her.

"You sure? I'm sorry, I just cant believe that happened." He said.

"It's okay." She assured.

"Well, uh, I really don't know what to say, except you're hired, if you still want the job." Rex said proudly.

"Are you serious?" Prue asked.

"Can you start Monday?" He asked.

"Absolutely,"

Rex smiled, "Terrific. It's done then. Yeah, we can sort out the details when you come in. In the mean time, welcome aboard."

Prue shook hands with him gain and smiled, "Thanks. Bye." And then walked away.

After Prue left Rex turned to Hannah, "Well, What do you think?" He asked.

"I think she's the luckiest woman alive or she's a witch." Hannah replied with a snooty tone.

Dean's Impala

Dean sat in his impala, outside of Quake. He found that most of the woman frequented the restaurant, so that is where this demon likely is. "Yeah?" Dean asked as he answered his ringing phone.

"Anything yet?" Sam asked on the other line.

Dean shook his head despite Sam not being able to see it, "Not yet, what's up?" He asked.

Dean heard Sam sigh on the other end, "Adam had a premonition, Phoebe is the next target." Sam said.

Dean's eyes went wide, "Where is she now?" He asked

"No idea. Just wanted to inform you. Keep doing your thing and we will call if we need you." Sam explained on the other end.

"Okay, Sammy." Dean said and hung up the call.

Halliwell Manor

"Piper? Phoebe? Sam? Ads? Guess what?" Prue called through the house taking off her coat and putting her purse down on the table beside the door.

"What?" Some old woman Prue didn't recognize asked.

Piper walked in from the kitchen, "Prue! Thank god your home!" Piper called out as she came out of the kitchen with a bowl in her hands.

"Yeah, uh who…" But Prue was cut off.

"Here you go Brittney." Piper said and handed the bowl to her, "Why don't you go sit at the table, Okay? There you go." Piper told the old woman sweetly and Brittney walked over to the table.

"Um, sorry, Brittney?" Prue asked.

"You're not gonna believe this. I'm not sur ei even do. I think…no I know this woman is Brittney Reynolds." Piper explained.

"Yeah, right, Piper and I'm Rosie O'Donnell." Prue thought her sister was joking so she retorted with a sarcastic tone.

"No, I mean it. Brittney had a tattoo, right? An angel on the right hand, remember?"

Prue turned and looked at the old woman and saw the tattoo, "That can't be," Prue pointed out.

"That's what I thought at first but then I started asking her questions. Things only Brittney would know. She may be senile, but it was enough to convince me." Piper explained she then lead her sister to the conservatory where Sam and Dean's research was. "Then, I found these. Last night and decided to look in the book. Come on." She said.

Stefan's Photography Studio

Phoebe pulled up in one of Piper's Quake van's she was helping with the catering the day before, she was going to return it after the photo shoot. She got out of the van holding a dress and walked over to the door and knocked, "Stefan! It's me Phoebe!" She yelled

Phoebe touched the doorknob and was hit with a vision

Premonition

Phoebe lied strapped to a table with an old looking man with glowing eyes and she screamed.

End of Premonition

Phoebe turned around and ran back to the van and got in. a hand covered her mouth and she tried to scream.

Halliwell Manor

Prue and Piper made there way to the attic where Adam and Sam currently were (Jess had left earlier in the day). "I'm telling you Prue, I saw something about it in the book of Shadows." Piper said as they entered the attic.

Adam looked up from the book to find two of his cousins looking at him, "Wait, why are you looking in the book?" Prue asked as Piper went and turned the pages to find what she saw earlier.

"I had a vision earlier about Phoebe. I just wanted to check the book to…" Before he could finish Piper interrupted them.

"Look, See," She said as she found what she was looking for, "Javna feeds one week out of every year, stealing the life force from the young." She read from the book.

That was enough to make Sam stand up and walk over to it too to re-read it. "Oh damn!" He said loudly concentrating on the page to see if there was anything else.

"What?" Piper asked curiously.

"Dean's out there now trying to find this thing." Sam explained. "But we went about this with very little information." He added.

Adam looked at the page and continued to read, "He is able to steal the life force of the young by

evoking the black magic power, the evil eye to sustain eternal youth." He read.

"It's got to be what happened to Brittney." Piper explained and turned to Sam. "I found yours and Deans research last night and that's what made me come look in the book. Sorry, I was being nosy." She added.

"Its alright Piper. At least you took it seriously." Sam said impressed that his cousin took the initiative when it came to this sort of thing.

"Is there an incantation to reverse it?" Prue asked scanning the page.

"I couldn't find any..." Sam began but was cut off by his brother.

Adam flipped the page, "There is." He said.

"The Hand of Fatima. It says 'that the Prophet Mohammad centuries ago to banish Javna back to where ever the hell he came from.'." Piper read off.

"I wish I would have saw that yesterday!" Sam said.

"Well, the problem is we don't even know who Javna is, let alone where he is." Prue said.

"That's what I am trying to say I had a vision of…" Adam began but was cut off by a loud crash coming from down stairs.

"Brittney!" Piper yelled and ran downstairs closely followed by her sister and two cousins. "Oh my god what happened?" She asked and saw Brittney laying on the floor.

"Are you alright?" Sam asked her helping her to a chair at the table.

Piper grabbed the phone, "I'll call 911."

Prue rolled her eyes frustrated, "And tell them what? That she's dying of old age at 25?" She asked sarcastically.

Piper picked up the napkin, "What is it?" Adam asked.

"It's a cocktail napkin from my restaurant. With Stefan's address on the back." Piper explained with a hand out, her voice confused.

Brittney's eyes widened, "Javna." She said in fear and pointed at the address on the napkin.

Prue looked at Brittney with wide eyes, knowing what that meant. "Guys, that's where Phoebe went." Piper said.

Sam turned to everyone at that moment, the stakes were high, they had to get his cousin out of there. "Adam, go up and write the spell down on a paper. Prue, you get Brittney to the couch, Piper can help you or Adam. I'm gonna go call Dean and have him meet us at Stefan's." Sam explained and walked into another room to call his older brother.

San Francisco PD

Darryl and Andy were looking through the ATM security camera in front of Quake, "Look at this. ATM tape caught the first victim." Darryl said.

"And she's leaving with that photographer, Stefan." Andy pointed out.

"Jibes was the last place she was seen before she disappeared. Is he on a suspect list?" Darryl asked.

"Just moved to the top," He answered his partner.

Stefan's photography studio

Phoebe was tied to a table, her vision about to come true. "Wait, Stefan, or whoever you are, let me go!" She demanded.

Javna walked into the light, "It's Javna!" He corrected and his eyes glowed red.

Phoebe screamed loudly.

~PO3~

Dean's impala sped into the parking lot next to the van, quickly followed by Piper in her jeep with Sam, Adam and Prue inside. Dean was the first one out of his car and ran to the van. "Do you see anything?" Prue asked her cousin as soon as she got out of the jeep.

"No," Dean stated. "Dammit! Phoebe!" He called out.

"Look, we'll find her," Adam said hopefully. He inwardly was hoping that the vision he had was some sort of trick.

"Maybe we should call the police." Piper suggested.

Sam shook his head, "No, if Javna has Phoebe then we are the only ones who can stop him," He explained.

"He's right, Piper," Prue agreed.

"But we need Phoebe to do it. The incantation only works with the three of us," She pointed out

Dean turned to the scream that was coming from in the building, "The three of us can do it." He pointed out pointing to himself, Adam, and Sam, "No time to wonder if we can or not." Dean said as he went to the door.

"Dammit! Locked." Dean cursed as he grabbed his lock pick.

"Oh, move over!" Sam said irritated. He threw his hand out and the door flew open.

They all walked in and saw Javna turning Phoebe into an old woman.

Prue squinted her eyes and Javna was sent flying backwards into the wall. "Get Phoebe." She ordered.

Javna got up and started shooting his beam into Prue. "Prue," Adam asked as he saw what was happening

Piper untied Phoebe "Oh no, Prue, I don't think she can say the spell!" she yelled.

Sam threw out his hand and sent Javna flying backwards into the wall. Javna still shooting his beams into Prue's eyes.

"Prue. The Mirror." Sam said and flicked his finger and had caught it and held it in front of her face. The beam retracting to Javna.

Piper turned to Dean and Adam, "It's up to you three now!" She said.

Adam grabbed the spell he had written from the book from his pocket and stood next to Dean and Sam and they chanted the spell.

"Evil Eyes look unto thee,

May they soon extinguished be,

Bend thy will to the Power of Three

Eye of earth, evil and accursed.

Dean held out his hand in front of them and it turned white, shooting a beam towards Java. The brothers chanted the spell once more. "You can't stop me. I will live forever!" Javna yelled.

Evil eyes look unto thee

May they soon extinguished be,

Bend they will to the Power of Three

Eye of earth, Evil and accursed.

Javna turned into a skeleton and then into dust and disappeared and Phoebe turned back into her regular self, her regular age.

"Very Cool," Phoebe muttered after she turned back into her regular age and they all heard sirens.

They all went outside and saw Andy and Darryl pull up, "Prue?" He asked confused. "What ae you doing here?" He asked.

"Well, we were just trying to get the van started." Prue fabricated on the spot.

"Yeah, Phoebe called. She was having car trouble." Piper added. "She wanted Dean, but we all came. This is a bad neighborhood." She added.

"Stefan was gonna take some pictures of me." Phoebe explained.

Andy had his arms on his hips, "Do you have any idea how lucky you are?" He asked the six of them, "This guys a stalker." He added.

Darryl came back to him at that moment, "No sign of him inside. He's car's here so he might still be around." He explained

"Excuse me," Andy said and made his way to the open window of the van and put his hand in. the van started up for him, no trouble at all.

"Hey, how about that, you fixed it," Piper offered acting impressed only to receive a sarcastic grin from Andy.

"How about that?" Andy repeated.

Dean piped up at that moment, "Maybe we should go." He suggested.

"Good idea," Andy said.

Prue looked at him, "Uh thanks. Call me?" She asked.

"Sure." He replied.

Quake

Phoebe walked through the front doors and saw the red head that was with Stefan the night before, "Hey, how are you?" She asked.

The woman looked at her strangely.

Phoebe waited at least a minute before going to sit with Prue, Piper, Adam, Sam and Dean. "Do you know that girl?" Piper asked

"I was that girl." Phoebe replied. "She was one of Stefan's victims. Obviously doesn't remember." She turned to Dean. "Why is it I can remember?" She asked curiously.

Dean took a swig of his beer, "No idea. Probably because your magical." He said in a whisper.

"Well, I learned my lesson. I have got to be more careful." She said.

"Excuse me," Prue said with a smile, "Did I just hear it? Did she admit to doing something wrong?" She asked her voice full of tease.

"That's what I heard," Piper said toying with the straw in her drink.

"Frame it. It won't happen again." Phoebe argued.

Adam spoke up at that moment, "At least we helped those people. It is nice to know our powers really are good." He explained. He had been so relieved and is starting to be okay with his magic, using the Power of Three to save an innocent and vanquish an evil being really reassured his faith in his powers.

Prue smiled at him, "Yeah, good for everything but our love lives unfortunately." She turned to Sam. "Sammy, I don't know how you do it." She stated and he laughed.

"I don't either to be honest." He answered his oldest cousin.

"Although, I must admit, our powers do come in handy once in a while." She added turning to Adam, "Weather it be saving the day or not." She said,

"Uh-huh, hypocrite." Phoebe said. And looked up towards the TV and saw the numbers. "The winning numbers! I won!" She said and Prue gave her a look. "Well, I did."

She looked at the ticket she had just gotten out of her purse and the numbers disappeared. "See, I told you. You can't intentionally use your powers for your own personal gain, remember?" She reminded them all. "I don't know if that applies to Hunting or not but we will find out." She added with a brief look towards Dean.

"It's a good thing I didn't take the tags off that dress. Oh, well. At least those old couples didn't lose their house." She said referring to the couple she saw at the market the day before when she bought the lottery ticket.

Piper lifted up her glass, "A toast to the Power of Three." She said.

Dean and Sam raised there glasses, "To the Power of Three." They said.

Phoebe Prue and Adam as well said, "to the Power of Three." And they all clinked there glasses.

As soon as Adam and Sam clinked glassed his fingers brushed Sam's and he was hit with a vision.

Premonition

Jess was on the ceiling and flames erupted

End of premonition

As soon as he came out of it, "Oh, my god! Jess!" He shouted and looked at Sam with teary eyes.

"Adam what?" Prue asked concerned.

Adam looked at Sam but couldn't say anything. "J-J-J-Jess." He muttered. "Flames." He said losing his voice as he couldn't bring himself to say what he saw. He only hoped he was wrong.

That was enough to be said as Sam and Dean looked at each other and booked it out of the restaurant. Getting into the impala and speeding off.

Jessica's apartment

Sam ran out of the impala (Which wasn't even parked yet) And ran into the building. His adrenaline high as he found her door. "Jess!" He asked. He tried to open it but it was locked. "Jess!" He tried again trying to open the door. He even tried kicking the door open. But it wasn't working. "JESS!" He yelled and threw his hand out and the door was blown off its hinges.

He found the apartment quiet. Maybe Adam was wrong. Sam had hoped in his mind. That's when he heard the shower going. She's still in the shower. He said and lied down on the bed to relax a little. He closed his eyes. That was when he felt something drip on his face. When he opened his eyes it ws the sight he was dreading. Jessica was on the ceiling, blood coming off of her. "NO!" Sam yelled when everything set alight. Fire erupted throughout the apartment.

"Sam!" Dean yelled as he made his way through the apartment to find him. He saw all the fire and then looked up and saw Jessica. "Sam!" He yelled again. He flicked his wrists but to no avail. The fire kept going. It was not freezing in time.

"No. Jess. No!" Sam said as Dean had grabbed him and forced him out of the apartment.

~PO3~

As soon as Sam and Dean mad it outside of the complex along with all the other residents. "Sam! Dean!" they heard and saw their cousins and brother walking towards them.

"Where is Jess." Phoebe asked as she looked past them. A hand to her mouth when she saw the look in Sam's eyes.

"I'm sorry, Sammy." Prue said and hugged her younger cousin. Refusing to let go. That is when Sam let it all out and started crying in her shoulder. The other two sisters joined in the hug while Dean saw something in the window of the apartment.

Adam followed what Dean was looking at, "Guys! Who is that?" He asked as the figure vanished.

"The thing that killed Mom," Sam said and looked at Dean. "What is it doing here? I thought Dad was tracking it," he added.

"I will try and figure it out. He hasn't been taking my calls." Dean explained.

At that moment, Sam turned to his brothers and cousins, "We've got work to do." He said.

So, I know it's out of Character for Dean to be instantly okay with being a witch. But I tried to make it to where he knew all along, he was one, just wasn't sure what type, he did not know he is a Charmed One. He did not even know if he was good or not.

In the next episode I have a lovely back story planned out for the Winchesters while the Halliwell's meet there long-lost father.

If I should give this story up or keep going is entirely up to you as readers! As long as you enjoy it I'll keep writing it.
