Thank you for Not Morphing

Halliwell Manor

Sam sat in his bedroom and just stared off into space. He was at a loss. Ever since Jess died a week ago, he hasn't been the same. A knock on the door pulled him from his thoughts. "Sam?" Came the familiar voice of his older cousin.

"Please, Piper. Not now." He said his voice void of any emotion.

Piper looked at him, "The neighbors are having a party. Maybe you could come with us?" She asked. "Sam, this isn't healthy just staying cooped up in this room." She argued.

"I said not now, Piper!" He yelled to her. It was very rare when Sam yelled at any of his cousins but considering the emotional rollercoaster he had been through the last week, it was understandable.

"Sorry." Came her response and then left the room.

Dean and Adam walked in at that moment, "Hey Sammy." Dean said softly. "How you doing?" He asked.

"Fine." He said, voice void of any emotion. He saw the folder in Adam's hands. "What do you have?" He asked.

Adam held up the folder, "Dean caught a case." He said. "But if you are not up for it then…"

"No." Sam said. "I need a distraction. What is it?" He asked.

Dean grabbed the folder from Adam, "A guy in Jericho disappeared." He explained. "Seems to be our kind of thing." He looked at Sam and saw the look in his eyes. "Sam, if you are not up for this, I can just take Adam. Besides, I think this was one of Dads hunts. One of the last ones he was on before I lost contact with him."

Sam nodded, "No. what if you need the Power of Three?" He asked. "I'm coming. Just give me a half hour to shower and we can go." He said.

~PO3~

Piper and Phoebe followed Prue out of the house, "So we're agreed? Twenty Minutes?" Prue asked her two sisters. "I kind of want to make sure Sam is alright before he goes with Dean and Adam." She added as an afterthought.

"Prue, you can't do a party in twenty minutes," Piper said and turned to look at her older sister.

"Watch me," Prue argued with a challenging look.

"Prue's party tips- meet, greet and bail." Phoebe explained jokingly.

"Hey. Some of us have a job," Prue retorted.

"And some of us have fun," Phoebe argued.

"And some of us are having a bad hair day." Piper concluded.

"You know, this is a sign. lets turn back now before it's too late." Prue said trying to turn back but her sisters stopped her.

"No," Piper said.

"Prue, it's never too late for a party," Phoebe said linking arms with her older sister.

"It's never too late Prue." Piper added with a smirk.

"Remember my sweet sixteen?" Phoebe asked suddenly but was left ignored. The began walking to the neighbor's house.

As soon as they got to the neighbor's house, "Hey, I got an idea, why don't we throw a party and Charge commission? It's a great way to make extra cash." Phoebe suggested.

"Hey, I have a better idea, why don't you just get a job?" Prue quipped as they pushed their way through the crowd.

"The sisters Halliwell." Marshall, the neighbor hosting the party with his two siblings, said. "Now the party can begin!" He added.

"Its about time you chicks showed." Cynda, Marshall's sister, said.

"Hey Prue, I'm glad you made it." Fritz said.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world, Fritz." Prue lied casually. In truth, she'd much rathe be at home comforting Sam.

"Marshal, the place looks great." Piper said and she looked around.

"Thank you. We're mostly just restoring it. I didn't wanna change it too much. You guys knew the old owners, didn't you?" He asked.

"Oh, we basically grew up with there kids!" Phoebe piped up at that moment. "We probably know the house better than you guys." She added.

"Hey, how is the bar?" Marshal asked his brother, Fritz,

"Oh, dry, I'll take care of it." Fritz said.

"No, my turn." Cynda said and crushed a beer can with her bare hands and walked away.

"Try to behave Cynda, we have guests." He called out after her.

"You know, sisters," Fritz said.

Prue smirked knowingly, "Tell me about it." She said causing Piper and Phoebe to look at her with insulted looks on there faces.

"So, uh listen enjoy the party." Marshal said and he and his brother walked away.

"Okay, I came, I saw, I was perky. Now I just want to make sure Sam is alright before his hunt with Dean and Adam. And I just want to lay my head on a pillow because I have to wake up early." She explained.

"No," Phoebe stated quickly. "I mean, not yet."

"Yeah, Prue, we just got here. It, it wouldn't look good." Piper said.

Prue knew her sisters well enough, "Alright, what's going on?" She asked crossing her arms against her chest and cocked her head to the side.

"Going on? What do you mean?" Phoebe asked sounding completely innocent; a trait she learned from Adam, pretend not to know what's going on even if you do. "Oh!" Phoebe said with a smile glancing over Prue's shoulder. "What a coinkidink. Look, who's here." She pointed in the opposite direction.

Prue turned around hesitantly and frowned when she saw Andy, "Phoebe you didn't." She said turning back to look at her younger sister.

"Well, your fingers weren't doing the walking someone had too." She said.

"We've been through this. Okay, cop, witch, is not a love connection." Prue argued.

"Boy, girl, lighten up." Phoebe retorted as she and Piper walked away.

Andy walked up to Prue, "Hi, Andy," Piper said before she walked away with her sister.

"We're, uh, working on there subtlety," Prue told him as he approached.

"Then its onto ending hunger and creating world peace, right?" Andy asked.

"Hmm, what will I do with my Saturday?" Prue asked.

Andy said, "Funny you should ask. I don't mean to push you, but I was wondering if you're not doing anything, I kind of have these tickets but they're for a Warriors game and you probably wouldn't be interested, so..."

"Well, the team cant do any worse than they did last year. Did you see him get creamed by the lakers?" Prue asked,

Andy smiled, "Impressive, is that a yes?" He asked.

"You know, um, I need to check my book because I might have a thing," Prue fabricated.

Andy looked at her, he knew she was making an excuse, "A thing?" he asked taking a drink of his wine.

"With Sam," she said, and Andy nodded in understanding. Wasn't mad in the slightest anymore.

"How is he doing?" Andy asked. "After Jessica." He added sadly.

"He's…" She began but stopped when she saw Fritz walking up to them.

"So, Prue, I hear your friends with a cop." He said.

"Inspector actually." She corrected.

"Oh, yeah. I've got these parking tickets." Fritz began obviously drunk.

Andy rolled his eyes, "My focus is mainly homicide and robbery." He explained

"Yeah, yeah. So, I have these parking tickets..." He repeated

Prue took that as the opportunity, "Gotta go," She said and walked away.

"Prue, wait!" Andy called after her, but she was gone.

Impala (Manor driveway)

Sam, Dean and Adam stood at the back of the impala, dean opening the trunk and opening the false bottom. "What are we looking for? Do you know?" Adam asked.

"No idea." Dean stated honestly. "But I do know; I want to have the Power of Three just in case." He added with a glance towards Sam. "If it is a werewolf, silver bullets are nothing to the Power of Three." He added.

"So, Dad was checking out this two-lane blacktop just outside Jericho." He explained as he got all the necessary papers. "About a month ago, this guy, they found his car, but he'd vanished. Completely MIA." Sam looked at the paper with Adam reading it over his shoulder.

"Maybe he was kidnapped." Sam offered

"Well, here's another one in April, another in December, this year 98, the 97, 96, 95. Ten of them over the past twenty years." Dean explained. "All men, all same 5 mile stretch of road. Started happening more and more. So, Dad went to go dig around, that was about three weeks ago, before we got our powers. I hadn't heard from him since, which is bad enough, then I got this voice mail two days ago. 'Dean, something is starting to happen. I think its serious I need to try and figure out what's going on. I might need the Power of…" It all began to cut off "Be very carful Dean. We're all in danger." John's voice said.

"There's EVP on that!" Sam pointed out.

"Not Bad, Sammy." Dean said with a little smile. "Kinda like riding a bike. You haven't hunted in what, 5 years?" He asked. "And after last week you haven't been out of the game." He added.

Dean grabbed his phone again and said, "All right, I slowed the message down. And ran it through a gold wave, took out the hiss and this is what I got." He said and played it.

"I can never go home," A female voice whispered

"Never go home," Adam repeated.

Dean closed the trunk, Adam was the look out, they all knew Andy was going to be at the neighbor's party down the street. The last thing they needed was for Andy to see the inside of the trunk.

"Okay, I'll go." Sam said after thinking about it. "I'll help you find Dad. If he is in Jericho. I have questions." He added.

Dean looked at his brother, "I need you in top shape, Sammy." He said. "Do not hesitate to use your power if you need to. We don't know what this is yet," he explained as he got into his car.

"I will be." He promised as he got into the passenger seat. Adam stepping into the back seat, and they took off down the street.

Halliwell Manor

Prue walked back to the house; she had hoped in time to catch her cousins going out for their case. She saw the door open. Odd. Sam always makes sure the doors are closed. She thought to herself as she went inside. She couldn't blame this one on Phoebe.

"Sammy? Dean? Adam?" She called out as she got into the house. "Anybody still home?" She yelled. She saw a dog on the stairs, and it began barking at her. She ran outside just as the dogs' eyes glowed.

Opening Credits

Halliwell Manor

The three sisters were seated in the kitchen, "How big was this dog again?" Phoebe asked eating her animal crackers that were in a jar in her hand.

"Huge. Did you see the scratches on the attic door?" Prue asked.

"What was it doing in the house?" Piper asked.

"I don't know. Somebody obviously left the front door open again." Prue said with a glance towards Phoebe.

"Why do you always assume it was me? Why about Piper?" She asked pointing at her other sister.

"Not it." Piper said. "Besides, Didn't Sam, Dean and Adam leave the house after us. Is it possible it was one of them?" She asked her older sister.

Prue nodded her head, "Sam always makes sure the door is closed. Although he has been distracted Since Jess died so I wouldn't blame him." She said.

"Well, its not a big deal." Phoebe said. "We checked the house, and nothing is missing except my Pat Boone Christmas CD," she said sadly.

"Now this is really creepy. If there was a dog it had to have an owner." Piper began "No dog I know can open that front door, let alone reach the top shelf." She added pointing to one of the top shelves in the kitchen.

"Hey, maybe we should get a security system." Phoebe suggested.

"No, they are way to expensive. Besides after what happened, Andy will be checking in every five minutes." Prue explained.

"Oh, you told him?" Piper asked.

"Convenient, so what should we do?" Phoebe asked.

"Well, we could rely on our vicious guard cat to protect us." Prue said with a hint of tease in her voice and then clutched the laundry in her hands, "Or we could remember to lock the doors." She said with an annoyed voice and walking into the laundry room.

"That is a very good idea Prue." Phoebe stated putting down her jar of crackers and getting off the bar stool. She walked to the laundry room door and closed and locked it. Laughing as she walked away.

Prue came back and tried to open it from the other side, "Unlock the door, Phoebe," She ordered.

Piper also laughed softly at that moment making a mental note to tell her cousins of this amusing moment.

Dean's impala

The Next morning Sam had his phone to his ear, while Dean drove, and Adam sat in the back seat of the impala. "No, Prue none of us left the door open." Sam said into his cell phone. "You're kidding. A dog?!" He repeated. "Alright. Call us if you need us to come back. Do not hesitate." He added. "Alright. Bye." He said and hung up the phone and turned to find Adam's questioning look.

"What was that about?" Adam asked from the middle of the back seat.

Sam turned to him, "I guess the door was left open to the Manor. I swear I closed it behind us." He explained.

"Does she want us to go back?" Dean asked concerned.

Sam nodded, "No, she said to continue with the case, they'll call us if they need us." He explained.

Dean shook his head to let his brother know he heard him before turning up the music and speeding down the street.

Buckland Auction House

Prue sat at her desk the next day, writing on a note pad. When someone walked up to her and cleared their throat to ger her attention. When she looked up the man started, "I was told that you might be able to help me." He said and took a ring off of his finger "I'd like to have this appraised." He said and put the ring on the desk.

"Well, you would be better off going to the house's appraiser." Prue explained to him.

"I've been there. He'd need a week. And I just... I wouldn't feel right without it. It's a family heirloom." The man explained.

Prue picked up the rind and looked at it, "I think I've seen a ring similar to this before. The setting's quite old. At least 17th century." She got up out of her chair and walked over to a shelf and picked up a book. "The stones look like crystallite. Keep in mind this is just an educated guess." She added as she went back to her chair.

"Please, guess away." He said and sat down.

"I am not mistaken. It's a stone that the Egyptians believed would protect them against spells, curses, evil spirits. This wouldn't be a wedding band by any chance would it?" She asked curiously.

"You tell me," The man said.

"The stones are set in two's. the symbol of duality. Man, woman, like in protection." She explained.

"And what does all that tell you?" The man asked.

Prue looked at the man, "Where did you get this ring? What did you say your name was?" she asked.

"I think you know my name, Prudence." The man said.

"Get out." She ordered as she got up and put the ring on the desk. "And stay away from us. From all of us," he warned.

He put on the ring and stood up, "I'm staying at the Ballmark. What do you say you and your sisters join me for dinner? Let's say tomorrow night. We can talk." He said. "Your cousins can come too if they want." He added.

"After how you abandoned us? How dare you." Prue said.

"Firery temper. I like that it reminds me of someone I know."

"I am nothing like you." Prue argued. "I would never leave my responsibilities, my family." She said.

"I can see we have some issues to work through." He said.

"Oh, we've got the whole subscription. Now get out before I have you thrown out." She warned.

"Is that anyway to talk to your father?" He asked and left the room.

Prue was going through a lot in her mind. She had half a mind to call Dean and tell him to come back home. But she knew they needed to solve there case, whatever it was.

Outdoor restaurant

Prue, Piper and Phoebe were seated at a table and Prue had just explained to them about who she saw. "I wonder why he went to you first. Why not me? Or Phoebe?" Piper asked

Prue looked at her, "Piper, it's not like I won the lottery," She retorted sarcastically.

"What was he like?" Phoebe asked with a curious smile. "Did he ask about us?" She asked.

"Actually, no." Prue answered, and Phoebe looked upset. "Phoebe, think about it. He abandoned us. He was a no show for twenty years and then what, suddenly here he is? Why now?" she asked.

"Maybe he just wants to be part of our lives." Piper replied hopefully.

"After all this time?" Prue asked. "Don't get your hopes up."

"Well, there's only one way to find out. Why wait till dinner? Lets go see him now." Phoebe said.

"Will you be rational?" Prue asked glaring at her youngest sister. "Don't you find it just a little suspicious that just when we find out..." She cut her self off when a waitress came and took there plates that were dirty. "Just when we find out we're witches he shows up. But when mom dies, he's nowhere to be found." She explained her thoughts of the man.

"He sent us birthday cards." Phoebe replied.

"Selective memory." Prue replied quickly. "Grams always told us he was a threat to us. There's no reason to think that's changed." She explained.

"Prue, it's not that I don't see your point, but you knew him, we didn't." Piper began her thought process in that moment. "Why cant we have a chance to know him now?" She asked.

"Because we really don't know why he's here and until we do we cant trust him." Prue explained.

Hotel

Phoebe walked down a hallway in a hotel room. She really wanted to meet her father fir the first time in forever. That was one aspect she was jealous of her cousins; they had there father, she did not.

She knocked on a door, "Entrée." A voice said from the other side.

Phoebe opened the door and walked in, she walked down a mini hallway in the suit and found victor getting a massage. "Daddy?"

Victor looked at her, "Well, well, what a nice surprise." He said and stood up.

"Im uh, sorry to just show up like this. I know I was supposed to wait for dinner but i…" Phoebe began but he cut her off.

"No, nonsense. Welcome. Let me get a good look at you." Victor said. "This is my baby girl. Little…piper?" He asked and saw the crushed look on his daughter's face. "Phoebe."

"Yeah. That's okay. People get us confused all the time," Phoebe explained.

"Are you kidding? I should be slapped and persecuted. Let me make it up to you. How about some room service?" He said heading towards the phone.

"I just ate. Actually." She replied.

"A drink? You are legal, right?" He asked

"Barely but no thanks."

"A massage. I can call lucy back."

"No really, I don't want anything. I just wanted t look at you." She explained.

"It's like looking in the mirror, isn't it? You've got your daddy's eyes, you know that?" He said.

"I noticed that." She replied smiling.

"How about a hug?" Victor asked and he hugged his youngest daughter, and when he does she is pulled into a vision.

Premonition

The book of shadows in the hands of victor and he is smiling

End of Premonition

The phone rang as soon as Phoebe came out of her vision. "They always manage to find me." Victor joked headed towards the phone.

"You know what? It's okay, I, I'll, just see you at dinner. I've gotta go." She explained in fright and theft the room.

"Phoebe, Phoebe wait," Victor called after her but to no avail.

Gas Station (A few miles outside Jericho)

Dean had been driving most of the night and well into the next day, he went inside to pay for some Gas.

Adam had fallen asleep in the back seat. He told them to wake him up when they got there. He wasn't used to being up all night. But for the foreseeable he could tell that he needed too be, so he decided to sleep when he could.

Sam sat in the passenger seat of the impala looking through the research again; he didn't want to make the same mistake as last week and not go over every obstacle. He was still impressed with Piper and Adam being able to find the spell in the book to vanquish Javna. But he wanted to step up his game and get back into the hunting nature, now that he was a witch.

No, He was a Charmed One. He had a duty to protect the innocent. Every innocent counts he kept saying in his mind.

"You hungry?" Dean asked bringing out a bag of chips for Adam and then some jerky sticks for himself and Sam.

"How did you pay for that stuff? You and Dad still running credit card scams? You don't have a job Dean." He reminded smugly

"Hunting aint exactly a Pro-ball career, Sammy." Dean said and turned to him with a knowing look, "And I doubt being a Charmed One is as well." He added. "Besides we just apply for them. It not our fault they send them to us." Dean argued.

"And what names did you write on the application this time?" Sam asked.

After Dean got in he looked at the card in his hands, "Um, Bert Aframian and his Son Hector." He read off and remembered his dads 'Name' as well. "Scored two cards out of the deal." He explained.

"That sounds about right, I swear man, you've got to update your cassette tape collection." Sam began.

"Why?" Dean asked.

"Well, for starters they're cassette tapes. I mean come on, Black Sabbath? Motorhead? Metallica?" Dean took the box labeled Metallica from Sam. "It's the greatest hits of mullet rock."

"Well, house rules, Sammy." Dean began taking a big bite of whatever he was eating and popped the tape into the player in the car. "Driver picks the music; shotgun shuts his cakehole." He said and started the engine, and they began to take off down the highway.

~PO3~

Sam had been just gotten off the phone. "All right, so there's no one matching Dad in the hospital or morgue. So that's something I guess." He began in a quiet tone as Adam was sprawled out on the back seat still asleep.

Dean glanced over at Sam and then back to the road, "Check it out," he said as several police cars were parked at a bridge.

Sam leaned forward for a closer look just as Dean pulled over, just as he put the car in park Adam woke up, "Whoa. Are we there?" He asked and shifted into his seat to sit like a regular person.

Dean opened the glove box and pulled out a box full of fake ID cards with his face and some old ones of Sam's. he picks one up and grinned at Sam who stared in disbelief. How could they do this in California where Andy was? "Let's go?" Dean said and got out of the car.

Adam decided to stay in the car one less face to explain, he figured he would try and 'will a premonition' to him about his dad. But to no avail. He was still too new to his powers.

Dean and Sam walked up to the crime scene, "You fellas had another one like this just last month, didn't you?" Dean asked as he approached them.

The sheriff looked up at him, "And who are you?" The sheriff asked.

Dean flashed his badge; the sheriff barely able to read it, "Federal Marshals." He said professionally.

"You two a little young for marshals, aren't you?" He asked.

Dean laughed at that response, "Thanks. That's awfully kind of you." Dean said and walked over to the victim's car. "You did have another one like this, correct?" He asked.

"That's right. About a mile up the road. There've been others before that." The sheriff explained.

"So, this victim, you knew him?" Sam asked.

"Town like this. Everybody knows everybody." Sheriff told him.

Dean circled the car and looked around, "Any connection between the victims, besides that they're all men?" Dean asked.

Sheriff nodded, "No. not as far as we can tell." He answered.

"So, what's the theory?" Sam asked as he made his way over to Dean.

"Honestly we don't know." Sheriff replied. "Serial murder? Kidnapping ring?" He listed off but still nothing concrete.

"Well, that is exactly the kind of crack police work id expect out of you guys," Dean muttered loudly, causing Sam to stomp on Deans foot.

"Thanks for your time." Sam said and started to walk away. "Gentlemen," Sam concluded his exit greeting.

Dean followed him and smacked Sam on the back of the head, "Ow!" Sam yelled quietly. "What was that for?"

"Why'd you have to step on my foot?" Dean asked.

"Why do you have to talk to police like that?" Sam asked.

Dean looked to Sam and moved in front of him. Forcing Sam to stop walking, "Come on. They don't really know what's going on. We're all alone on this. I mean, if we're going to find Dad, we've got to get to the bottom of this thing ourselves." He explained. "We find him, tell him about our powers and get some answers Sammy." He explained.

Sam cleared his throat and looked over Dean's shoulder. Dean turned around and saw another sheriff with two FBI agents. "Can I help you boys?" Th sheriff asked.

"No, sir, we were just leaving." Dean replied. "Agent Mulder. Agent Scully." He greeted as he walked past them.

Halliwell Manor

A mailman walked up the stairs outside of the house and to the front door. In stead of putting the mail in the mail slot. He morphed his finger into a key and unlocked the door and opened it and stepped inside. Leaving the door wide opened as he ran to the stairs and ran up the stairs to the attic door. He tried to open the door but found it was locked. He tried running his shoulder into the door but It didn't work. Finally, he kicked the door and blew it off its hinges and it fell to the ground. He ran in grabbed the Book of Shadows and ran down the stairs. The minute he got to the door and went to leave the Book glowed a white/yellow color and flew back into the house.

He ran in and grabbed it again, same result the book glowed and would not leave the house. It was like someone was pulling it away from him. When he threw it at the door, it glowed and fell to the floor, still inside the manor. He tried to pull it from the outside, but it wouldn't leave. He turned and saw Prue walking up the stairs. He threw the book into the living room and morphed into Andy.

Prue unlocked and opened the door, "Andy, what are you doing in here?" she asked shocked and suspicious she saw him standing in her home.

Andy pretended to be scared and jumped at her voice, "Oh! Door was open!" he said pointing to it.

"Again?" She asked in disbelief,

"Yeah, I came by to check up and it was opened. I looked around and everything seems to be in order." He explained.

Prue put her workbooks and her bag down on the table next to the door. She looked in the mirror and saw the Book of Shadows on the floor of the other room. "You want me to check upstairs?" He asked her.

"Um, no, no that's okay really." She said and walked towards him. She looked at the book and narrowed her eyes slightly, the Book slid undter a table in the living room. "Oh, and, um, about tomorrow night, I've changed my mind." She clarified.

"Excuse me?" He asked, confused.

"Well, you'll never believe who popped back into my life after twenty years. Victor, my dad." She explained. '

"Your dad?" Andy repeated in surprise.

"Yeah, he wants to have dinner and I would really rather avoid that. Too bad the games not tonight." She explained. Cynda knocked on the door at that moment and opened it. "Uh, hi Cynda." Prue said.

"Hey. Everything okay?" Cynda asked.

"Yeah thanks." Prue told her.

"Bye." Cynda said

"Nice party last night." Prue told her as Cynda closed the door.

"I guess I'll get going too." Andy said and kissed her on the cheek and left the Manor,

Prue locked the door behind him and walked over and picked up the Book of Shadows and took it back upstairs. She saw the attic door o the floor of the attic. "What the hell?" She whispered to herself

Library (Jericho)

After talking with the victim's girlfriend, the three Winchester brothers decided to try their luck in a library. The three of them sat at one computer while Dean is using some sort of search engine typing the words 'Female murder hitchhiking' into the search bar and hitting enter. Nothing came up.

"No results found." Adam pointed out the obvious.

Dean then replaced 'Hitchhiking' with 'Centennial Highway' once again no results found

"Let me try." Sam said reaching to grab the mouse and keyboard, but Dean hit his hand away.

"I got it." Dean assured, voice kinda frustrated.

Sam and Adam looked at each other and nodded to one another, Sam looked around and saw no body was paying them any attention. He swiped his hand through the air slightly and Dean's chair slid backwards; obvious Sam used his power to do so. Giving Sam enough time to grab the computer.

"Dude!" Dean yelled quietly; being in the library they didn't want to draw too much attention to themselves. "Use your powers on me." He said whacking Sam on the shoulder. "You're such a control freak." He added.

Sam turned to him at that moment, "If it's an issue I can find my way back home and you can continue without me." He said. "Dean, I am still grieving the loss of Jess. It's not going to get better in a week." He explained.

Dean knew all too well how that went. He lost his mom "I'm sorry." He said

Adam piped up at that moment, "So, angry spirits are born out of violent death, right?" He asked.

Dean turned to him, "Yeah." He answered immediately.

Sam caught on to his younger brother's train of thought, "So, maybe it's not murder." He explained changing the search to suicide.

As luck would have it, they found the article of the woman in white "This was 1981. Constance Welch, twenty-four years old, jumps off Sylvania Bridge, drowns in the river." Sam read off.

"Did she say why she did it?" Dean asked.

"Yeah," Sam answered after scanning the computer.

"What?" Dean asked.

"An hour before they found her, she calls 911. Apparently her two little kids are in the bathtub. She leaves them alone for a minute, and when she comes back, they aren't breathing. Both die." He explained.

"Whoa, that's a lot to deal with." Adam said.

Dean looked at the picture on the computer, "That bridge look familiar to you?" He asked.

All three boys knew, they had to go back to that bridge.

Halliwell Manor

"You don't know for sure," Phoebe said walking to the table with a coffee mug in her hands.

"I know plenty." Prue retorted. She looked through a drawer. "First someone rips off the attic door, then the Book of Shadows is found downstairs. Isn't that enough?" She asked as Piper came into the room.

Piper grabbed a phone book out of a drawer. "Here you go." She said helpfully to her older sister. "Why would somebody want the book?" She asked.

Both Prue and Piper sit down with Phoebe at the table, "Well, for one reason, they know what it can do." Prue explained. "They want its power, our power. As well as Sam, Dean's and Adams." She explained further.

"That would mean its someone who knows us and knows we're witches." Piper said.

"Yeah someone like Victor." Prue said.

"What? Dad?" Phoebe asked in disbelief; refusing to believe her premonition.

"Look, just think about it. The moment he shows up someone makes two attempts to grab the book, coincidence I think not." Prue said.

"What would he want with the book?" Piper asked. "And why take it from us? Phoebe, help me out here. Phoebe." Piper said turning to her younger sister.

"Okay. Let's just say for the sake of argument that he is after the it. Wouldn't he of taken it with him? He wouldn't of left it behind." She thought about it.

"Okay, we have to call the cops and report it as break in." Piper said.

"And tell them what? That someone broke into our house to try steal our broomsticks? I mean, please. Besides, Andy's already been here." Prue said.

Phoebe tilted her head to the side, "Oh, so Andy was here again. Talk about convenient. Did tou ever think of pointing the finger at him?" Phoebe asked.

"He's probably the one who scared Victor away. Until we find out what's going on and whether Victor's involved or not, we've got to hide the book. Either that or we can't leave the house." Prue concluded her thought.

"Fine. Then we hide the book because I'm going to dinner tonight. I wanna see dad." Piper said.

"So do I." Phoebe added.

"I've already seen him." Prue said.

Sylvania Bridge

That night, Sam, Dean and Adam found their way back to the bridge. They were leaning on the railing and look down into the river. "So, this is where Constance took the swan dive." He explained.

"So, you think Dad would have been here?" Adam asked looking around.

"Well, he's chasing the same story. Same case." Dean explained. "Why else would I have gotten that voice mail?" He asked.

"Well, we just need to find him," Sam said. "The sooner we do the sooner we can get back home." He added.

"Actually, it's as soon as we deal with this angry spirit." Dean corrected. "Sammy, stop distracting yourself from reality, that's not healthy, Sooner or later you are gonna have to face up to what happened with Jess." He added. "Face who you really are." He added.

"And who's that?" Sam asked arms crossing his chest.

"You're one of us." Dean replied. "And a Charmed One." He added.

Sam ran a hand through his hair, "What if I don't want this life any more Dean?" He asked his brother. "What if this being 'Charmed' thing, gets the people we love killed, like Andy or one of the girls." He started wondering aloud.

"Sam, I may be the last person you'd expect this from." Adam began. "But being Charmed is part of who we are. We proved that last week with Javna." He added, still proud of what 'the Power of Three' accomplished.

"As a Charmed One we have the responsibility to…" Dean started but cut himself off. He had no idea what they could or could not do. What responsibilities they needed to have as witches.

"To Dad?" Sam asked. "To his crusade? If it weren't for pictures Adam probably wouldn't know what Mom looked like." He said on his younger brother's behalf. "Phoebe probably feels the same way about Aunt Patty." He added.

Adam looked away; he hated fighting with his brothers. When he looked at the edge he gasped, "Guys!" He said.

Sam and Dean turned to look at what Adam saw. Constance at the edge of the bridge looking over at them and then jumped off.

"No. Wait!" Adam yelled and ran over to the ledge quickly followed by his brothers.

"Where'd she go?" Dean asked.

"I don't know," Sam replied.

Behind the three of them the impala started up and the headlights came on gaining Dean's attention. "What the…" He began.

"Who's driving your car?" Sam asked, confused.

"Did you leave the keys in…" Adam began but cut himself off as Dean grabbed the keys from his pocket.

The Impala started to move on its own accord, "Whoa!" Dean said and flicked his wrists. The impala froze.

"That doesn't last long Dean!" Adam stated remembering Piper's power lasted only a few minutes.

Just as Dean turned to look at his brother the Impala unfroze. "Dean? Go! Go!" Sam yelled.

The three of them ran over to the ledge as the Car got closer to them. They jumped off and the car stopped right there. Too late after the boys jumped off.

~PO3~

Sam caught himself on the edge of the bridge and hung onto it for dear life. "Don't let go Sammy!" Adam yelled. That is when Sam noticed Adam had his arms wrapped around his brother holding on tightly as if not to fall.

Sam pulled himself up, much more difficult with his baby brother holding on to him. "Careful Ads." Sam said as they made it up safely.

"Dean!" Adam looked around. "Where ya at bro?" He shouted.

Sam looked over the ledge, "Dean?" He asked, his voice curious. "Dean!" He shouted.

Below the bridge, a very dirty Dean crawled out of the water. And into the mud. "What?" He asked.

"Hey! Are you all right?" Sam asked his brother,

Dean hold up his hand and made the A-Okay gesture. "I'm Super." He said,

Sam Laughed, relieved and scooted away from the bridge ledge.

Adam ran over to the ledge and smiled, "Dean! You're okay." He said and placing a hand on his chest; acting like he was so worried.

After Dean got back up to the bridge, he opened the hood and looked inside. "Your car all right?" Sam asked.

Dean shut the hood and leaned on it, "Yeah, whatever she did to it, seems all right now. That Constance chick, what a bitch!" He shouted.

"Well, she doesn't want us digging around, that's for sure. So, where's the job go from here, genius?" He asked and he too set on the hood of the car next to Dean.

Adam looked between his two brothers, "I can call one of the girls and see if there is anything in the book that might help?" He offered.

"Why don't you do that." Sam began and then turned to dean. "You smell like a toilet." He said with a smirk on his face.

Restaurant

Piper Phoebe and Victor we sitting at a table, "Girls, its so nice to see you. Its not like we don't have a lot to talk about." Vict or said.

"We do. I mean, yeah, we have a few questions." Phoebe said.

Victor looked at Piper, "You know, the last time we ate dinner together, you would only eat food that was white. Glad to see you have outgrown that." He said as Piper was nibbling on a carrot.

"That's right, I was four." Piper remembered

"Phoebe that would have made you what? One?" He asked. "Sam would have been 2 and Adam wasn't born yet." Victor remembered then got back on subject. "You know, you couldn't walk yet but you could swim. You were a fish." He said and Phoebe laughed. "This feels right, doesn't it? This feels natural, almost like normal." He added.

"Amost. Its just um, well, why?" Piper began. "I mean, after all this time, why here, why now?" She asked.

"Well, I heard the food is pretty good here and it is dinner time." Victor elaborated. A waiter placed a meal down in front of Phoebe and she thanked him, "Bon appetite." He said.

Halliwell Manor

The microwave beeped and Prue took out a container of broccilii out and poured them onto a plate when the door bell rang. "Coming!" She yelled as she made her way to the door and opened it, "Andy, hi." She said with a small smile.

"My plans for tonight fell through figured id stop by." He explained.

"Come on it" Prue said and stood aside to let him in.

"House to yourself?" He asked confused. "I didn't see Dean's car out there." He clairified at her look of suspicion.

"Oh!" She said. "Yeah, Dean and Adam took Sam to visit an old family friend." She fabricated she couldn't tell them what they were really doing.

She made her way to the kitchen and began to tell him about her day "And then all of a sudden there he was. He just showed up at work." She explained.

"I cant believe it." Andy said and sat down at the kitchen table. "How are you dealing?" He asked.

"Honestly? Im not." Prue said after she sat down, but not before she handed him a cup of coffee.

"I don't blame you. What do you think he wants?" Andy asked.

"Dinner." She answered right away. "Piper and Phoebe are there with him now. You know, they just don't understand. They don't know him like I do. I can't believe I let them go. I can't believe they went. He's acting like no time has passed, like I'm still his little girl and I'm not. There are things I want to tell him, I want him to know what he missed. You know, like the time I broke my arm or the day that I finally passed my drivers test, our prom." She explained.

"Didn't we miss that too?" Andy asked and they both smiled.

Prue made a look of seriousness, "I want him to know. I want him to want to know. And I'm sorry but I also want some answers, like where the hell's he been all my life. Why didn't he come back until now? He needs to know that that's not okay." Prue said tears showing in her eyes.

"So, tell him." Andy said. "I'll drop you off." He added.

Restaurant

After getting dressed she finally let Andy take her to the restaurant. She walked through and scanned the Diners as she walked through to look for her sisters. "Prudence," Victor said with a smile and stood up when he saw her coming.

"Did I miss much?" She asked. Piper and Phoebe shocked that their sister actually came.

"Uh, just catch up. Dad was filling us in. memory lane." Phoebe explained.

"Has he mentioned where he been all our lives?" Prue asked looking right at her father but speaking to her sisters.

"Prue…" Piper began.

"I don't understand if you can afford a spot like this, why didn't you help out when Grams died? We actually could have used it then." Prue explained. "Yeah, we had our cousins but you should have helped. We needed you to help." She concluded.

"Give him a chance, Prue." Piper defended her father. "Dad's explained, the money, all this its new." She said.

After sitting back down victor aid, "It's okay Piper. I'm a big boy. I didn't come back earlier because I was afraid I might disappoint you."

"Too late." Prue remarked.

"I wonder whats keeping desert." Piper said trying to change the subject.

Victor kept looking at Prue. "Please sit down. Have something to eat." He said.

"I'm not hungry." She replied.

"Always in a hurry Prue. You skipped crawling and straight to walking."

"Ah, we're sharing memories. Well I got one of my own. Your back walking out the door." She said just as a waiter walked past them holding a flambeau. Victor put his foot out to tri him.

Piper gasped and threw her hands out, the entire restaurant froze. She got up and grabbed the flambeau from the waiters hands just in time for everything to unfreeze. "Who wants flambeau?" She aske as the waiter fell flat on his face and then got up and took the flambae away from Piper.

"Nice reflexes." Victor said. "Now let me get this straight. Piper, you and Dean freeze time. Prue don't you move things, I think Sam could too." And then he turned to Phoebe. "Phoebe? Premonitions? I assume Adam has that power as well. Maybe we should talk about this elsewhere." He said.

Halliwell Manor

Prue and her father and sisters pulled up to the house,. Prue went and unlocked the door. When she opened it three crows fly outside. "Friends of yours?" Victor asked jokingly.

"Welcome to the Halliwell-Winchester Manor, Dad." Phoebe said.

~PO3~

After checking the house Prue walked into the living room to find her sisters and dad laughing, "Someone left the window open which is probably how the birds got in. What is so funny?" She asked.

Piper picked up a picture and walked over to her sister, "Do you remember the day this was taken?" She asked

"Yeah, family picnic. It rained." Prue said remembering the memory.

"And your mother packed us all up and she brought us home and we had the picnic right here in the living room. Do you remember that Prue?" Victor asked.

"Barely." She replied.

"Prue…" Phoebe said softly

Victor picked up another picture, "This one wasat ne of your piano recitals. Not a very good shot. My fault. I had to take the pictures that day. Your mother was too busy holding her breath. If you look closely," He handed her the photo and pointed to an area. "you see there, that's her." He pointe out.

"I never noticed that before." She stated.

Victor picked up another photo, "And this one used to be a five by seven." He explained holding up a picture of Patty, Prue, Piper and Phoebe along with Mary Sam and Dean and John. "When I was still in it." He continued.

"I think grams cut you out." Phoebe said.

"Theres a bunch of things in the attic. Grams left us somt things." Piper explained.

"Not all she left us." Phoebe muttered.

"Phoebe, lets not go there." Prue said.

"What?" Phoebe asked her older sister. "Its not like he doesn't already know and I'm sorry but its kind of a relief to talk to someone about it." She explained.

"Um, does anybody want coffee?" Piper asked looking around the room.

Phoebe ignored her sister and continued to talk, "I mean, one day I am a member of the Y generation with average hair and a thing for caffeinated beverages, and the next I am a witch."

"Dad, do you want cream or sugar with your coffee?" Piper asked her father.

"I just read from the book and WHAM! I am Tabitha. The only thing is, Adam and I got stuck with the power to see the future. How uncool is that?" She said sadly, wishing she had a different power.

"Well, from what your mother always said, it was one actually considered one of the more desirable powers." Victor explained. "Mary had that power," He added as an afterthought.

"Unless you see things you don't desitre." Phoebe pointed out.

"So, how long have you known?" Prue asked. "About us, our powers, how long?"

"I knew there was a possibility. That's why I came back, to find out. It must have happened when your grandmother died right?" He asked.

Phoebe nodded, "Yep! I just read an incantation from the book and…" She began but Prue cut her off.

"Phoebe!" Prue warned.

"Ahh, the Book of Shadows. Not exactly summer reading. Is it still up in the attic? You know, I haven't seen it in years. Mind if I have a look?" He asked causing all three sisters to look at him suspiciously.

Impala (Jericho)

Sam had fallen asleep in the passenger seat while Adam and Dean were awake. "Where we going bro?" Adam asked.

"A motel until we can figure out what is going on." Dean replied stepping on the gas."Its what Dad would have done." He added as an afterthought.

Halliwell-Winchester Manor

"What exactly are you accusing me of Prue?" Victor asked.

"Figure it out." She retorted.

"Come on, Prue. Take it easy." Phoebe pleaded.

"Are you kidding me?" Prue asked turnin g to her baby sister, "Am I the only one who sees whats going on here?" She asked.

"Couldn't we all just take a deep breath…" Piper began.

"Think about it Piper. He wines and dines and now he's back in the house he hasn't set foot in for twenty years and the first thing he wants to know is where's the Book of Shadows?" She asked.

"Your just looking for something to blame him for." Phoebe said.

"Admit it, tell, them why you're here." Prue said turning to her father

"Prue stop," Piper begged.

"For the first time in your life victor, tell them the truth." She ordered.

"Alright, fine. You're right. I am after the book. That's exactly the reason why I came back." He said arms folded across his chest.

"Dad," Phoebe said in a disappointed tone.

"But not for the reasons you would like to believe. It would make it easier for you, Prue, wouldn't it? If I were evil. Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, I'm not. I'm here to protect you." He explained.

"Yeah, right." Prue said.

"To protect us from what?" Piper asked.

"From yourselves." Victor said. "That's why I want that damn book. Its where the Powers of Three started and its where it must end." He explained. "Mary was right all those years ago. Getting your cousins out of here. Only evil got her too." He added.

"Its part of us, part of who we are." Phoebe argued. "Part of who Sam, Dean and Adam are." She argued further.

"That's what your mother and aunt believed too. Before they killed them," he argued back.

"What are you saying?" Piper asked.

"you have no idea what evil is out there." Victor told them.

"Oh, I think we have a pretty good idea." Prue countered. "Dean does too. He fights it every day." She added.

"Listen to me , Prue." Victor said. "That book is a magnet for evil. As long as you have it, as long as you use it, your in danger. All of you." He said.

"You're unbelievable, After all these years of being an absentee dad then you waltz back into our lives and tell us how to live." Prue yelled to him.

"I never wanted you to have those powers in the first place. I battled with your grandmother after your mom died. She wanted you to find out you were witches when you grew up. I didn't. I fought for you, hard. Your grandmother was too strong." He argued.

"Wait, youre blaming grams for why you disappeared?" Piper asked getting into the conversation. "She loved us, she raised us. All of us!" Piper added.

"Whatd she do? Put a spell on you?" Prue asked.

"Believe me, nothing short of that would've kept me away. You have to believe me. All I want is whats best for you." He turned to Phoebe at that moment. "Phoebe, you believe me don't you?" He asked.

"We've done fine without you!" Prue reassured him.

"Prue you cant fight this. I didn't." Victor replied.

"I'm not you!" She said.

"Are you sure?" He asked. "Are you sure you can protect your sisters and cousins forever?" He asked.

"We'll protect each other." Piper argued. "Us and our cousins." She added.

"Then you'll die together." He warned.

"No one can hurt us as bad as you!" Prue seethed. Tears falling down her face, she let out all of the emotions at once and sent victor flying across the room, accidentally using her power on him.

He got back up after falling to the floor, "If you wanted me to leave, all you had to do was ask." He said and walked towards the door and left.

"Why did you have to do that?" Phoebe asked and left the room, stomping up the stairs in a fit.

"Did you have to throw him so hard?" Piper asked.

Phoebe: Why did you have to do that?

"Piper…." Prue said, voice breaking.

"We could've just, you know, talked about it like normal people." Piper explained.

"We're not normal." Prue argued.

Motel (Jericho)

"One room please." Dean asked the front desk person of the motel.

The clerk picks up the card and looked at the name, "You guys having a reunion or something?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" Sam asked.

"I had another guy, Burt Aframian. He came and bought out a room for the whole month." The clerk said.

Sam Dean and Adam all looked at each other before taking the key to their room and walking out of the manager's office.

Instead of going to the room they were given, the boys went to John's room. Having been told by the clerk. "He didn't give us a key," Adam pointed out.

Sam rolled his eyes slightly and threw his hand out, the door opened and slammed into the wall it. The force of Sam's power nearly damaging to door. Sam pushed the door closed as soon as they were all inside, but first making sure no one was around to see him use his magic.

Dean and Adam all looked around the room, Adam more in Awe than Dean was. Every vertical surface had papers pinned to it: maps, newspaper clippings, pictures, notes. There were books on the desk and assorted junk on the floor and bed, including something with a hazardous-materials symbol. "Whoa," Sam said.

Dean turned on the light by the bed and picked up a half-eaten hamburger that sat there on the table. Sam stepped over a line of salt on the floor. And Adam looked at the papers pinned to the wall. "I don't think he has been here for a couple of days at least," Dean said.

"Salt, cats-eye shells…he was worried." Sam began. "Trying to keep something from coming in. that's probably why he called you," He explained. "I for one am relieved we are a set of the Power of Three." He added.

"Here, here," Adam replied looking at the papers that covered a wall.

"What have you got here?" Sam asked as he and Dean approached Adam.

"Centennial Highway victims." Adam said looking at all of the photos on the wall.

"I don't get it." Dean began. "I mean, different men, different jobs, ages, ethnicities. There's always a connection, right? What do these guys have in common?" He asked.

Sam walked over to another wall, seeing the article of Constance. "Dad figured it out." He said and turned on a lamp.

Dean turned and started walking to his brother, "What do you mean?" Dean asked.

"He found the Same article we did." Sam began. "Constance welch, she's a woman in white."

"You sly dogs," Dean said looking at the pictures of the men on the wall. "All right, so if we're dealing with a woman in white, Dad would have found the corpse and destroyed it." He explained.

"She might have another weakness." Sam replied.

"Well, Dad would want to make sure." Dean began. "He'd dig her up. Does it say where she's buried?" He asked.

"Not that I can tell. If I were dad though, I'd go ask her husband." Sam stated. "If he's still alive."

Dean looked thoughtful at that moment and looked at Adam. "Adam." He whispered.

"What?" He asked.

"Can you try and get a vision?" Dean asked. "Find out where she is buried?"

Adam shook his head profusely, "I can't just get a premonition on command. I can't control it like that. Still too new." He added.

"Just try." Dean asked,

Adam grabbed the article from the wall and then touched it with both hands. That's when he gasped and closed his eyes tightly, a vision coming on.

Premonition

Sam and Adam sat in the Impala with Constance in the back. "Take me home," she whispered.

End of Premonition

"I'm sorry." He said as soon as he came out of the vison. "I didn't see something we didn't already know. Just said 'Take me home.' Whatever that means." He said.

Dean turned to Sam, "All right. Why don't you, uh, see if you can find an address, I'm gonna get cleaned up." He said.

He turned to Adam, "Figure out what your vision meant." He ordered lightly. "If we are to understand it." He added and disappeared.

~PO3~

Sam sat on the bed phone to his ear, "Your kidding?" He said loudly into the phone. "Uncle Victor really admitted he was there for the Book?" He asked.

"Yeah, I guess. I had a vision of him taking it, but we stopped it. How is your father search going?" Phoebe's voice drifted from the other end.

"It isn't," Sam replied. "Look, we will be home late. But if you need us, we will come back." He added.

"Hey guys," Dean said as he was freshly clean from the shower and fully dressed, "I'm starving, I'm gonna grab a little something to eat from that diner down the street. You two want anything?" He asked them.

"No," Came Sam's distracted response.

"Aframian's buying." He said pulling out his fake credit card.

"No," Sam repeated. "Sorry Pheebs. can you repeat that?" He asked into the phone.

"I want a burger," Adam said from his spot at the desk.

"Okay," Dean said and left the motel room.

~PO3~

As soon as Dean walked out of the room he started walking towards his car.

He looked over and saw a police car, where the Motel Clerk is talking to the deputy and sheriff from earlier. The Clerk pointed at Dean, who turned away and pulled out his cell phone. He flicked his wrists to buy himself more time to make the call. The Sheriff and deputy and the motel clerk froze.

Sam, still sitting on the bed listening to Phoebe rant about her father. The phone beeped, "I'm so sorry Pheebs. Hold on." He didn't wait for a reply as he switched the line. "What?" He asked.

"Dude, five o take off." Deans voice said.

Sam stood up and looked outside, "What about you?" He asked.

"Uh, they kinda spotted me." Dean replied. "Go find Dad." He said and hung up the phone.

~PO3~

"Problem, officers?" Dean asked.

"Where's your partner?" The sheriff asked.

"Partner? What, what partner?"

The sheriff glanced over his shoulder and jerked his thumb towards the motel room he turned back to Dan, "So. Fake US Marshal. Fake credit cards. You got anything that's real?" He asked.

"My boobs." Dean smiled at that retort before he is slammed over the cop car and the cuffs are put on him.

Halliwell-Winchester Manor

Prue and Piper sat at the dining room table. Piper using a fork to move her food on the plate but otherwise didn't eat any. Prue sat there in silence as well. Phoebe walked in with the phone in one hand and a coffee mug in the other. She had just gotten off the phone with Sam. "Good morning Phoebe." She greeted herself trying to get her sisters to greet her but they just ignored her entirely.

She picked up a napkin and waved it aaround, a white flag, "Uh, guys. Can we call it truce just for five minutes please?" She asked putting the napkin down and gaining her sisters attention. "I have a confession. Remember when we agreed to not see dad? Yeah, well, I did." She said.

"Hello, I was with you." Piper reminded looking slightly confused as to why her sister would bring that up.

"No, by myself, before dinner and I had a premonition about dad when he hugged me. He was stealing the Book of Shadows. Yeah, you were right about him, Prue. I didn't want the premonition to be true. I was hoping, praying that there was a perfectly good explanation for it. Hoping that, that he was really here to be with us. I just wanted him back in our lives. He's our dad." She said sadly.

Prue stood up at that moment, "I know, Phoebe," She said and hugged her baby sister. "Why do you have the phone?" She asked suddenly.

Phoebe let out a slight laugh, "Oh, I was talking to Sam." She replied.

Piper turned and saw something on the floor, "Hey look," She said and got out of the chair. She went and picked up the object. "Dad's ring. Whats it doing here?" She asked and handed it to Prue.

"It must have fell off when he, uh…" She trailed off when she didn't want to say what happened, "Fell," She concluded.

"Well, I'll take it back to the hotel." She said putting it on the table and walking up the stairs.

Impala

Adam sat in the impala; he was at a loss for words. His dad had been there. But he left town. Now Dean was taken by the cops and interrogated. Which is why he and Sam were trying to find any way to get Dean back. Adam turned to Sam, "Too bad there isn't a spell to bring him to us. Or us to him." Adam said. "Not that I'd use it." He added quickly.

Sam smiled knowingly, "We both know you would." He said. "Hell, there may be a spell to do that kind of thing. But we are still so new to being witches that we have no clue what we can or can not do." He added. "Dean and Piper are having trouble controlling there powers. Phoebe is using hers to win the lottery. You saw us casting the spell to vanquish Jeremy. Prue and I are the only ones that can control our powers right now." He explained.

That's when Adam turned to Sam, "I am one of the useless witches." He said. "That is why I want you and Dean to teach me everything there is to being a Hunter. I can learn to protect myself and, in the event, I were to get an active power. I would be feared by many creatures…" He explained before Sam cut him off.

"You are already feared by every creature, Adam." Sam said sharply. "We all are. Being Charmed Ones and Hunters…that puts fear in every creature Dean and Dad faced in the past." He explained.

Adam continued but nodded to let Sam know he understood, "I want to learn Spells and Potions. As well. That way if I am ever on a hunt alone, I can defend myself magically." He added.

Sam didn't like the idea, but he also didn't like his brother being one of the defenseless witches and agreed nevertheless, "Okay. Dean and I will teach you everything we know." Sam said reluctantly. "But we have to have this conversation with Dean as well." He added as he formed a plan in his head to get Dean out of the clutches of the cops in Jericho.

Jericho PD

The head sheriff entered the room Dean was in, carrying a box and set it on the table. "So, you

want to give us your real name?" he asked.

"I told you, its Nugent. Ted Nugent." Dean lied casually.

"I'm not sure you realize how much trouble you're in here," The sheriff said.

"We talkin', like, misdemeanor kind of trouble or, uh, squeal like a pig trouble?" Dean asked.

"You got of faces of ten missing persons taped to your wall." The lead sheriff explained. "Along with a whole lot of Satanic mumbo-jumbo. Boy, you are officially a suspect."

"That makes sense because when the first one went missing, I was 3, in 1972." He retorted sarcastically.

"I know you've got partners. One of 'em's an older guy. Maybe he started the whole thing. So tell me. Dean." The sheriff began and threw a book on the table. "This his?" He asked.

Dean looked at the book. He recognized it, it was his fathers journal. Everything he knew about every evil thing. His own personal Book of Shadows per say, minus the spells.

The sheriff flipped through it it's filled with newspaper clippings, notes, and pictures, just like what was on the walls of the hotel room.

"I thought that might be your name. See, I leafed through this. What little I could make out—I mean, it's nine kinds of crazy." He explained and opened up to a page with 'Dean 35-111' on it circled. "Now you are staying right here until you tell me exactly what the hell this means." He said

Dean flicked his wrist and froze the room, grabbed the book and looked at it. He knew what it was. He also flipped through it to find out if john left any other clues inside as to where he might be. Damn he thought to himself and flipped back to the right page just in time for everything to unfreeze.

Halliwell-Winchester Manor

Phoebe stepped out side and walked down the stairs to get the news paper. She saw fritz and Marshal and waved to them with a small smile. Phoebe turned around and gasped when she saw her father, "Don't be afraid." He whispered.

"What are you…you have to leave." She warned.

"Phoebe, please, this is very important." He said.

"I cant." She whispered. "I don't wanna talk to you anymore." She told him.

"Phoebe you've got to get the book out of the house." Victor warned her.

"You have to leave," Phoebe said turning to walk away.

Victor grabbed her arms at that moment, "Phoebe, trust me, look…" He warned and she felt a vision coming on.

Premonition

Victor has the Book of Shadows. However he morphs into marshal and he alked off to join Cynda and fritz.

End of premonition

Marshall and Fritz walked over to them and Victor let go of Phoebe, "Excuse me, hey. Is this guy bothering you?" Fritz asked.

"Uh, no, this is my…this is Victor." She introduced.

"We were just saying goodbye." Victor said.

"Yeah, I gotta run." Phoebe said and ran back inside.

"Whats the matter? Don't you trust me?" Victor asked the two shapeshifters.

~PO3~

Phoebe headed into the house and towards the stairs when she saw Prue. "Dad's not after the book. Its Marshal." Phoebe clarified.

"What?" Prue asked.

"My premonition, it wasn't dad. Gotta find a spell to banish them," Phoebe said and then remembered what Dean told her a week ago. "Go find a silver knife or something. In case I cant find a spell." She added

"Banish who?" Prue asked confused.

"The neighbors, theyre shape shifters. Fritz, Marshal and the…" She was cut off.

"Cookies. Just baked," Cynda said walking into the room from the kitchen with Piper.

Fritz walked in at that time, "Hey, door was unlocked," He said

Phoebe started walking uo the stairs, "Where you going, Pheebs." Piper asked curiously.

"Uh, just to get something." Shse said and then smiled at Cynda, "Will you save me a cookie?" She asked and without waiting for a response went upstairs.

"Daddys home!" Victor yelled throughout the house.

In the attic, Phoebe went over to the make shift closet that hid the Book of Shadows. "Come on, come on," She said as she bgean flipping through the pages. She stopped. "I have no idea what I'm looking for." She said aloud. That's when the book started flipping the pages on its own accord. "Okay I can take a hint." She said to herself when the pages stopped. She memorized the spell and ran back to her sisters.

"Dad you have to leave now!" Phoebe warned just as another victor walked in.

"Whoa, time out. Whats going on here?" Piper asked confused.

"Don't worry about it sweetie. Everytbings going to be fine." Victor number 1 said.

"Don't trust him," Victor number two said.

"Wait a second, last week we have no dad. And now we have two?" She asked

Victor #1 walked closer, "Phoebe remember when you were little and you were afraid of the dark and I would leave the hall light on and the door open just a crack." He reminded.

"Oh, that's original. What kid isn't afraid of the dark?" Victor #2 asked.

"Prue." Victor #1 said. "Shes never afraid of anything." He added.

"He's right Prue. You were never afraid of the dark." Piper said out loud.

"Lucky guess. I said I came back to protect you. Now there's only one way to do it. Kill us both." Victor #2 said.

"Your bluffing." Victor number 1 said.

"Am i?" Victor #2 asked. "Just do it because I wanna go out with a bang." He added.

"Do it, Phoebe," Prue ordered.

"The spell will kill everyone including dad." She warned.

"It's the only way, Prudence." Victor #2 said.

That was enough for Prue to know who the real Victor was. "Prue, the protection ring." Piper said and Prue squinted her eyes and the ring slid over to him. He looked at her and she nodded and he put on the ring.

"Phoebe now," Prue ordered.

Victor #2: It's the only way. Prudence...

"In the circle that is home,

safety's gone and evils roam,"

Cynda morphed into some kind of creature.

"Rid all beings from these walls,

save witches three now heed our call."

The wind started to pick up and Phoebe continued.

"When in the circle that is home,

safety's gone and evils roam..."

The shape shifters started to melt. Victor fell to his knees as marshal turned back into himself. "Daddy!" She yelled.

Victor was on his knees, "It's okay. Keep it going." He ordered.

Prue and Piper joined in with their sister at hat moment in the spell,

"Rid all beings from these walls,

save witches three now heed our call."

The shapshifters melted and disappeared. The sisters run over to Victor and Prue helped him up. "For a moment there, I wasn't sure whatd you do." Victor said.

"For a moment there neither did I," Prue replied.

"I thought you didn't want us using our magic." Phoebe said.

"I didn't. not as long as I still thought of you as my little girls. But your obviously not anymore." Victor said.

"We're still your little girls we're just…" Piper began

"Witches." Prue concluded.

"Yeah, Witches. Well, obviously you don't need your old man to protect your from anything." Victor said.

Sheriff station

That night, Dean was still being interrogated, he just wished he knew how to cast a spell to get out of this situation. "I don't know how many times I gotta tell you. It's my high school locker combo." He explained with an annoyed look.

"We gonna do this all night long?" The sheriff asked.

A deputy came into the room at that moment, "We just got a 911, shots fired over at Whiteford road." He explained

The sheriff turned to Dean. "You have to go to the bathroom?" He asked.

Dean shook his head, "No."

"Good." The Sheriff handcuffed Dean to the table and left the room.

Now that he was alone, he could think to himself, that's when he saw the paper clip in the journal and uncuffed himself with it. He walked to the door and looked out the window to see the sheriff and deputy getting ready to leave.

He flicked his wrists. Nothing happened. "Ugh," Dean said and grabbed a book from the cabinet in the room. Threw it in the air and flicked his wrists again it froze in midair. Dean looked out the window to see the sheriff and deputy still moving as they left the building. My power doesn't work in a different room. Good to know. He said sarcastically to himself. Before going to the fire escape and climbing down. Carrying John's journal with him journal.

Highway

Later that night Sam sat in the passenger seat of the impala and Adam was driving when a phone rang. "Fake 911 call, Sammy?" Dean's voice said on the other line. "I don't know that's pretty illegal."

"You're welcome." Sam said with a small laugh.

"Listen we gotta talk." Dean began.

"tell me about it. So, the husband was unfaithful. We are dealing with a woman in white. And she's buried behind her old house, so that should have been Dad's next stop." Sam explained.

"Sammy, would you shut up for a second?"

"I just can't figure out why dad hasn't destroyed the corpse yet." Sam continued ignoring his brother

"Well, that's what I'm trying to tell you. He's gone. Dad left Jericho." Dean explained.

"What? How do you know?" Sam asked and then turned to Adam "Dad's gone." He informed.

"How does he know?" Adam asked staying focused on the road.

"I've got his journal." Dean said.

"He doesn't go anywhere without that thing." Sam informed knowingly.

"Yeah, well, he did this time." Dean stated.

"What's it say?" Sam asked

"Ah, the same old ex-Marine crap, when he wants to let us know where he's going." Dean explained.

"Coordinates where too?" Sam asked.

"I'm not sure yet." Dean said.

"I don't understand. I mean, what could be so important that Dad would just skip out in the middle of a job? Dean, what the hell is going on?" Sam asked his brother on the phone. "Could it be we are the only ones that can defeat this thing?" He asked.

"No idea Sammy, possibly." Dean replied.

Adam slammed on the breaks all of a sudden causing Sam to drop the phone. Sam looked and saw Constance standing in the middle of the road and the Impala went right through her before it stopped completely.

"Sam?" Dean asked on the other end. "Adam?" He said assuming it was on speaker.

"Take me home." Constance said from the back seat, frightening Adam and Sam. "Take. Me. Home." She repeated with a hiss.

"No," Adam said.

Constance glared at him, and the passenger door opened and Sam found himself thrown out of the car. The door closes and locks. The car driving off by itself.

"Sam!" Adam yelled as the impala drove by itself.

Breckenridge road

The impala came to a stop in front of Constance's house. The engine shut off and so do the head lights; the doors remaining locked as Adam tried to leave the car. "Why are you doing this?" He asked.

Constance flickered before answering, "I can never go home." She said sadly.

Suddenly Adam's vision made sense. "You're scared to go home?" He asked and turned around to find her gone and in the passenger seat. She climbed into his lap, shoving him back against the seat hard enough to recline the seat. "Hold me. I'm so cold." She whispered.

"You can't kill me. I'm not unfaithful. Never have been, never will be." Adam said.

"You will be," Constance assured and began to kiss him, and he continued to struggle reaching for the keys to turn the car on. She pulled back and disappeared, a flash of something horrible behind her face as she vanished.

Adam looked around for a moment, then yelled in pain and yanked his button shirt open. There are now five new holes burned through the fabric, she flickered in front of him, her hand reaching into his chest. A gunshot goes off, shattering the window and startling her

Sam and Dean approached with here guns firing at her. She glared at them and vanished, then reappeared, Dean kept firing until she disappeared again.

"Adam!" Sam yelled as he ran to the car "You, okay?" He asked about to wave his hand when he heard Adam speak.

"I'm taking you home!" He yelled and put the car in gear and ran right into the house

"Adam!" Dean yelled and hurried through the wreckage to the passenger side of the car followed quickly by Sam. "Adam! Adam! You, okay?" He asked.

Adam nodded in response to his brother, "I think so," he said.

"Can you move?" Dean asked

"Yeah. Help me?" He asked his brothers. Sam and Dean helped Adam out of the car.

"There you go." Dean said as he and Sam got him out of the Car. Adam leaning on Sam for support.

Dean closed the door and Constance looked towards them; a bureau flew towards them trapping them against the impala; Dean couldn't even think to freeze it before it hit them.

"You've come home to us, Mommy," Was heard from the top of the stairs.

Constance looked at them, distraught. Suddenly they appeared behind her; they embraced her tightly and she screamed, her image flickering.

In a surge of energy, still screaming, Constance and the two kids melt into a puddle in the floor.

Sam threw out one hand and the bureau moved away from them as he used his power on it.

"So, this is where she drowned her kids." Dean stated

Adam nodded, "That's why she could never go home. She was too scared to face them. that's what my vision was about." He explained.

"You found her weak spot. Nice work Ads," Dean said.

"I wish I could say the same about you two, what were you thinking shooting Casper in the face, you freaks?" Adam joked.

"Hey. I saved your ass." Dean replied and leaned over to look at the car "I'll tell you another thing. If you screwed up my car, I'll kill you." He concluded and Adam laughed.

Halliwell-Winchester Manor

Sam and Dean walked into the house later the next morning. Adam right behind them. He yawned loudly and went upstairs, "Good night, everyone," he said and disappeared to his room.

"Long night?" Phoebe asked.

"You don't even know the half of it." Sam said. "Piper, I apologize the other day I snapped at you. I know you were just trying to help." He added.

Piper listened to him and smiled a little before walking up to him and gave him a hug, "We're okay, Sammy." She said. "I love you." She added.

As much as he hated being called 'Sammy' growing up. The only people he ever allowed to call him that were his brothers and cousins. And Grams of course. "I love you too, Piper." He said and returned the hug.

Prue walked into the room at that moment with the phone to her ear, "No Andy, I'm fine. Really." She said. "Dad's gonna be here any minute, so can I take a rain check on dinner? Okay thanks for the good advice." She said and hung up the phone.

"So, he's dad now?" Phoebe asked.

"Yes, Phoebe, and by the way my dress looks good on you." Prue stated with a small smirk.

"I don't have any nice clothes, Prue." Phoebe countered

"Dad said it was casual." Prue argued.

"I don't care. I wanna look nice for him. Who knows how long it'll be before we see him again." She stated.

"You don't think he'll stay around?" Dean asked. "Sorry couldn't help but over hear." He said.

He was left ignored when phoebe continued. "Well, let's just say I no longer have a romanticized image of him. And I'm glad about that actually. At least dad is real now." She added. "Like Uncle John."

"And at least he isn't a monster which is very reassuring considering we share his genes." Prue said half teasing half serious.

"I'm just glad he came back no matter how long he stays." Piper said. "Kind of nice feeling like a normal family again. Whatever that means." She added as the doorbell rang.

"Here here." Dean stated in agreement

"Speak of the devil." Piper said and went to answer the door.

Sam beat her to the door since he was closer to it putting his jacket on the coat rack, "I got it, Piper," He said and opened the door.

He looked at the man standing there with a toolbox in one hand and a folder in another. "I'm looking for Prue." He said kindly. "She called."

Sam let him in but kept his eye on Leo, "Prue. This man says he is here for you." Sam stated. Hand on his back pocket ready to draw his gun if needed.

Prue smiled at her cousins antics, every since getting there powers and since losing Jess. Sam has been very protective. "It's okay Sammy." She said and then turned to the guy, "Uh, hi, you must be Mr. Wyatt." She said.

"The handyman?" Phoebe asked

"Call me, Leo." He requested.

"Gladly." Phoebe said with a smile

"This was on the steps," Leo said holding a yellow large envelope. Which Prue took from him. Leo looked around. "This place is, uh, you don't find many like this around anymore." Heexplained.

"Yeah, its kind of falling apart." Piper said.

Prue opened the envelope to see what It was while Leo continued, "The problem isn't the manor, it's the manner in which it was treated. I'd love to see more." He said.

"I would love to show it to you." Phoebe said with a huge smile on her face and pushed Piper out of the way and they started heading towards the stairs.

"Guys," Prue said gaining evry ones attention.

"Oh, I'll be right up." Phoebe said to him and turned back to Prue.

"he's not coming." Prue said.

"Who's not coming?" Piper asked.

"Dad, He sent this. Um," She began to read the note, "girls, something's come up, I hate to leave town. Can't make it to dinner. Probably best if we let the dust settle anyway. I know there's a lot you would like to forget but here's what I remember. Love dad." She read off holding up a video tape. "Ps. Tell your cousins hello from me when you see them." She read off again.

Prue, Dean, Piper, Phoebe, Sam and Adam were all on various seats on the couch and chairs that loitered the living room. They were watching an old Christmas video that there family had.

In the video Prue sat with her mother and baby Phoebe. Sam was sitting next to Patty. Dean sat with Mary and John, Mary.

Mary smiled and turned towards the camera, "Victor, put the camera down and come join us." She said.

"Yeah, we will get the footage, man." John said assuringly as Piper lifted up a barbie she just opened.

Sam teared up, "I barely remember this." He said quietly.

"I do. It was the first time in a long time the entire family was together." Dean said.

~PO3~

Dean had been in the attic looking through his fathers journal, trying to figure out what the coordinates were. "Dammit Dad!" He cursed loudly. "Why don't you just come home?" He asked quietly.

Adam looked at his brother from his spot on the couch, Book of Shadows in his lap. He wanted to go through it to see if there was anything about getting a premonition when you wanted too. He couldn't find an entry, but he decided to look though the book anyways. "We will find him Dean," Adam promised from the couch.

Dean forgot his brother was in the attic with him, "I know we will." Dean said. "In the mean time, I hear you want to learn more about hunting." He began and Adam nodded. "I will teach you all I can. But you are still in school, so the weekends I will be able to teach you how to fight and how to shoot a gun." He explained. You don't have an active power. So, you have to rely solely on your fighting skills like I had to hunting with Dad."

"I understand Dean." Adam said.
