Chapter 1
House was feeling betrayed by Cuddy as he watched her with her Sister and Brother-in-Law and a young stranger who she's flirting with. He realizes everybody lies. He heads back to the front door n leaves her brush on the front step leaving for the last time
"Hey House everything ok?" Ask Wilson
"Sure, do you mind if i drop you off somewhere. I just remembered i have something to do. " says House
"Uh ya... are you sure your ok?" Wondered Wilson
" ya Cuddy moved on, I'm about to move on." States House as he starts driving back to his House.
Time Jump 2 hours
House Office
House was on his computer printing out personally typed letters to his team, Cuddy and Wilson along with his Letter of Resignation.
"Hey House i got your page. Whats going on, why are you packing?" Ask a bewildered Dr. Chase
"Chase thanks for coming so quickly." Says House
" Uh did you just say thanks?" Asked a shocked Chase
"Don't look in this too much. Im resigning and I'm wanting you to take over as the Head of Diagnostics. I got board approval so even Dr. Cuddy can't override it." States House
"What...huh...Why are you leaving?" Asked completely shocked Chase
"I'm just done. Theres no reason for me to stay. I have left you all personal letters." Says House
"Why do you want me and not Foreman?" Ask House
"What reason I give does not leave here. As much as we have not gotten along you are a good Doctor and each time Foreman has been in charge of my Department it has either cost us a Doctor or a patient. I want you to run this department and continue to saves lives and solve puzzles. Im just a phone call away. FYI I got a knew Cell Number and only you and Wilson will have it." States a serious House
"Ok. Where are you going, what are you going to do?" Ask Chase
" I'm going to do what I always do. Survive!" Says House
"Do you think I'm ready?" Ask Chase
"Yes, you have been ready for a while. Just remember the old saying." Says house Packing away his personal belongings
" Everybody Lies!" States Chase
Knock Knock...Maintenance
"Here to change the letters from the door. Who am I putting on the door Dr. House?" Ask Maintenance
" Dr. Robert Chase MD. Keep the head of Diagnostics. When you are done can you help me take these boxes to my car." Says House
" Of Course just give me a few minutes."
" well good luck Dr. Chase. Don't let Foreman or Taub or Thirteen or anyone give you a hard time. You earned this. Good Luck. Also give the letters to who they are suppose to go to" Says House shaking Chase's Hand.
"Good luck House, keep in Contact." Say Chase as House takes one last look around
Next Day
Dr. Chase Office
Dr. Robert Chase is sitting at his Desk as Foreman, Taub and Thirteen walk in followed by Wilson than Cuddy
"Good Morning everyone. Thanks for Coming by. House left y'all some letters He wanted me to give you. Lets go to the DDX room."states a Serious Chase
"Where is House?" Ask Wilson and Cuddy
"He resigned, he got Board Approval yesterday to make me the Head of Diagnostics and yes I talked to them. They gave me a letter" states a serious
"WHAT!!!!!!" Screamed Everyone
"How the hell did he get Board Approval and why you and not me. Im the Most senior Doctor on the team?!" Yells Foreman
"Why didn't he tell me, why didn't he say something. Why resign? Where did he go, his phones been disconnected. " Ask a shocked Wilson
"There are personal letters to each of you. I don't know where he is. All I know is something happened yesterday because he called me in the office and he was packing and writing letters to everyone. He already called maintenance and had them change the letters on the office door and showed me the letter from the Board. I did ask him why me and I promised not say. Wilson do you know why he left? All he told me was he went to the board because he didn't want Dr. Cuddy to change anything. " says Chase
"I went over to his place to see if he wanted to do anything and he said he had to go by Cuddy's place to return a hairbrush. We got there and he just stood there looking at Cuddys Dining room Window. He left the brush on the door step and came back to the car and told me he just realized he had something to do could we reschedule. What were y'all doing yesterday Cuddy?" Says a shocked Wilson opening his letter
" my Sister and her husband brought someone over for me to meet and we all had lunch." Says Cuddy with a sinking feeling
"Was this before or after you told him there hasn't been anyone else?" Ask a Frustrated Wilson
"After... Oh God this is my fault. We weren't even going out I just did this as a favor to my sister." Says Cuddy with tears welling up in her eyes.
"Well you did and now he's gone.!!" Yells Wilson
"Whats done is done. He gave me his new number and told me only me and Wilson can have it. To not give it to nobody. So Read your letters and Taub go find us a case. " states Chase
"Cuddy can't you do something about Chase being in charge?" Asked a upset Foreman
"No she can't, not without Board Approval and since House got Board Approval (Don't ask me how) it cant be overridden by her. If you don't like it you can move to another Department." states Chase
"He's Right. House must of had a reason to do it besides the obvious. Lets just get to work. Chase can i talk to you?" Says Wilson
"Yeah." Says Chase walking to his office
"Did he say anything else that you can tell me?" Ask Wilson
"No he just said he was resigning and told me why he picked me and then said he was going to do what he always does "survive" told me only me and you needs his knew number"says Chase sitting down
"I wonder where he is going, it doesn't say in the letter. Im going to try and call him." Says Wilson taking his phone out
(Ringing to voicemail)
"Hey House its Wilson and Chase we were just calling to see how you were. Give us a Call...Bye."
30 minutes later
Taub walks in with a case and the team gets started
Next Day House's home
House gets up and starts doing his morning routine before his 11:00 session with Dr. Nolan. He checks his phone and sees a voicemail from Wilson and decides to call him back
"Sup Wilson miss me already?" House says teasing
" HOUSE how are you? Where are you? Do you need anything?" Ask a out of breath Wilson
Chuckling
"1 day and your already miss me? Im fine. At my house getting ready for a appt with Dr. Nolan. Then coming home and packing. The movers will be here tomorrow and then I'm headed to Baltimore tomorrow. I start my new job on Monday . They are starting a Diagnostic's Department at John Hopkins just for me and a very big salary. How are you doing" says a PROUD HOUSE
"Well me, Chase and Taub and Thirteen are good. Cuddy's sad and Foreman is Pissed that he wasn't promoted. " says Wilson
"Why don't you, Chase, Taub and Thirteen come to dinner tonight as a last day getting rid of House Celebration. Don't tell Cuddy and Foreman. " House says
"Yeah ill ask everyone. How about that steakhouse we use to goto?" Wilson ask
"Your on 7:30 tonight. " house agrees
Wilson walks in and tells Chase that House wants to meet for Dinner with them Taub and Thirteen
Steakhouse
House is sitting and waiting for his team thinking about his therapy session today and weird how proud of himself and how proud Nolan was of the way he handled himself
"Hey House, you look deep in thought. How are you? "Wilson says as he comes up and man hugs House
"Hey House, Wheres my hug?" Ask a teasing Thirteen
"House surprises Everyone by hugging Thirteen like a skinny Teddy Bear
"There happy? Thats actually the best hug I've had in years. Your welcome." Says House
"Gone 1 day and your hugging people. Who are you and what have you done with House. " jokes Chase
"Everyone have a seat. Thanks for Coming. I've ordered appetizers." states House

"I know you are all wondering but let's order our food and drinks and we will talk then." Says House
10 Minutes later
"Everything we talk about stays here. 2 Days ago Cuddy kept trying to Corner me and kept saying we have yet to have an actual fight about the ending of our relationship. Well I just snapped and I told her that I'm hurting because she let 1 mistake cost us our relationship. FYI I'm back off Vicodin. Anyway she told me to ask 1 question and she will answer honestly. So i asked her if there's been anyone else and she told me no. So later Wilson came by and wanted to go do something and I realized I had to go return Cuddy's hairbrush and we got there and when I was walking up I saw Cuddy and her sister and brother-in-law and then a stranger that she was touching and laughing and general flirting with. I hate to admit it but I almost snapped and done something stupid but I realized that it was just over. So I left the brush and went and dropped off Wilson and went to the office. Made some calls and then I went to meet the board got the board to except my resignation and my request to put Chase as head of Diagnostics with Taub as Junior Supervisor of Diagnostic. I went back to my office and started typing personal letters for you all. Called my therapist and met him today and he was shocked and proud of me for how I handled the situation. I went home and started packing to go to my new life and new job. I start at John Hopkins Monday as Head of there new Diagnostics Medicine. "Says House
"To say everyone was shocked"
"So that's why you looked so out of it yesterday. To be honest you were scaring me. But at least you talked to someone. " says Wilson
"I'm proud of you. Take care of yourself and keep in touch." Says Thirteen squeezing House Hand
"So how is it with Chase in charge?" Ask House
"It pisses Foreman off so I'm happy." Thirteen say laughing
"No offense but he's not you, he's better or at least nicer. So I'm good. But uhm are you needing someone at Hopkins?" Taub ask in mock seriousness
"I already have so far 30 people applying. They told me I can have 1 Deputy and 1 Secretary and 4 fellows." Says House as the food comes
"As long as you don't do those stupid games like you did with us they will be ok. "Thirteen says laughing
"Dr. Nolan put me on some meds to control my crazy side. Also they want me to looking in to this team thats figured out a way to re-grow the muscle in my legs. They have had 75% success rate. It's 1 surgery and 1 injection once a week for 3 months" says a excited House
"Really, are you going to do it" everyone chorused
"Thinking about it. I let this useless thing hold me back for too long" House says seriously
"Oh Crap, here comes Foreman and Cuddy" Taub and Chase
Everyone turns to see a furious Foreman and a equally angry Cuddy walking towards them. House ask his waitress to bring him the Check
"Thirteen video this and Email this to me." Says House. As he stands up with his cane both Taub and Thirteen start videoing the coming confrontation
"What are you both doing here, I had specifically not invited either of you." States house making sure not to block his team videoing
"You are a son of a bitch House! I deserved that promotion !" Says Foreman punching house to the floor
" You can't leave House. You are still on Contract with PPTH for 5 more years. You will stop all this bullshit you better be back at work tomorrow or else I'll tell Tritter that you threaten me to hide your evidence that your nothing but a shallow, drug seeking, self important jack ass. To add all that if you even try to rat me out I'll tell them that you assaulted me and forced me to be in a relationship with you. Who do you think they'll believe you a mental patient with drug problems or me the Dean of Medicine. Also Tritter and I were dating and still dating so he will make all evidence go away. Be there tomorrow and not a word from any of you" says Cuddy with her nose in the air before Cuddy kicks House in his bad leg. Walking away with Foreman
"House!!" Everyone yells trying to House up from the floor
"Did you get it on video?" Ask House as he slowly gets up to a chair to drink some water and take some ibuprofen
"Yeah me, Taub and Thirteen did. I can't believe they did that. What are you going to do House?" Says a shocked Wilson trying to help House
"I'm going to file Criminal Charges on both, talk to my Lawyer about Rachel then all of us are going to meet the board with the police and get them arrested. I just don't want to get yall in trouble. Even when I do something good still get nocked out. I guess Cuddy didn't talk to the Board because they let me out of my contract. "Says House nursing his cheek and leg
(Manager Comes over and tell them there meal is on the House and hands over a disk with the security footage and a business card with cell number on it to testify)
"It's early do you wanna go and file your report now and get checked out? "Ask Taub
"Yeah if you don't mind." Says house
Police Station
Detective Mike Davis Office
House, his Lawyer Mr. Peters, Wilson, Taub, Thirteen and Chase walk in and take a seat in the Conference Room just as Detective Tritter walks in with a self satisfied smirk on his face
"Detective Davis we request another secondary Detective. My client has bad history with Detective Tritter. "Says Mr. Peters
"You can't I'm the only other detective here." Tritter states a satisfied smile on his face
(House's Lawyer gets up and whispers in Detective Davis ear. Detective Davis steps outside and ask for a Captain and Lieutenant)
"Detective Tritter you sit over there and keep your mouth shut. For every word out of your mouth is a 5 Day suspension!" Says a serious Captain walking in the room
"Dr. House you understand that this will be recorded." States Det. Davis
"Yes sir." Replies House

"Thank you. What can we do for you?" Ask Det. Davis
So they all explain what happened including the confrontation tonight. Before Thirteen shares the video with Detective Davis, The Captain and Lieutenant who watch it. The attorney hands over a copy of the security disk and signed witness statements from the restaurant
"This is obviously fake you can't just except this!" Yells Tritter
"We can and we will. Detective Tritter you are suspended pending a full investigation. Hand over your Weapon and your badge. You will be monitored and not to have no Contact with Dr. Cuddy, Dr. House or his team. All your calls and emails will be monitored. You will have a officer assigned to you till further notice. " states The Captain as he gets up.
"Dr. House we have to get pictures and arrest Warrants which should take about an Hour. We will pick up both Dr's Foreman and Cuddy this evening. " says lieutenant
"Actually Lieutenant can you pick them up at 9:00 tomorrow morning from PPTH. We scheduled a meeting with the board at 8 am to show this video and have there licenses revoked and fired from PPTH." House says
"Yes we can. Also we will have an armed officer with you. We want you to stay with someone tonight till in the Morning. " says the Captain
PPTH Board Room
8:10 am
"Thank you all for coming. I bring a serious problem to this Board. I would like you all to watch this video." House say with all seriousness
15 minutes later
"Myself, Doctors Chase, Wilson, Taub and Hadley spoke and filed a police report against Dr. Eric Foreman, Dr. Lisa Cuddy and Detective Tritter. I now put a Vote forth for the immediate Dismissal of Dr. Eric Forman and Dr. Lisa Cuddy and also suspension of there Medical License. All in favor." States House Putting his Hand up along with all 10 members
"Vote Passes. Can one you send for them and tell them there is an emergency board meeting. Taub,Chase, Hadley can you move against the wall" House says turning his chair around
The Door opens as Dr's Cuddy and Foreman walk in not see the Detectives or the team
"What's the meaning of this, I'm the only one who can call an emergency board meeting?" Says A frustrated Cuddy
"Is that so?" Ask House turning around
"House, what the hell are you doing here. You are going to be pulling so much clinic duty!" Yells Cuddy
"We will see. As Chairman of the Board of Directors and CFO of Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. We the Board hereby Fire Doctors Lisa Cuddy and Eric Foreman for assault of a Disabled Employee, threatening said employee. Violation of HIPAA and the Americans with disabilities Act of 1990. We have reported you both to the Medical Board. You are Dismissed!" House States shocking everyone not in the know
"Lisa Cuddy and Eric Foreman you are under arrest for Assault and Battery, Conspiracy and Making Verbal threats." States Detective Davis
"You can't do this to us!!" Yells Foreman and Cuddy as there dragged out
" Thank you Ladies and gentlemen of the board. Who shall be the next Dean of Medicine?" House ask to the room
"You and Dr. Wilson.
"What do you say Wilson Co-Dean's of Medicine?" Ask House looking at a Shocked Wilson
"Um... yeah sure."
"All in Favor... Vote Passed. You are all Dismissed. Thank you ladies and Gentlemen. Doctors Wilson, Chase, Taub and Thirteen stay behind.
"Why didn't you tell us House? That's How you got Chase Approved." Says Wilson with wide puppy dog eyes
"I have been Chairman of the board since after all that stuff with Tritter. Ive been CFO since 2000 after I was hired by the President of PPTH. The only people who knew was the President and the Board along with the old CFO who is a Figure Head. Yes that's how I got Chase as the Head of Diagnostics. " states House looking around
"Wow... we always thought you were lazy. We didn't know you did more jobs than all of us combined. So was that story about going to John Hopkins true? "Taub says still trying to come to terms with everything
"Yes it was, but now that Cuddy and Foreman are gone I'm staying. Although I will still be going to get my leg done. Now if you excuse me I need to make some calls and get some sleep. " says House standing up
Everyone watches House leave never fully realizing they are watching a Doctor that has had the weight of the world on him. A new Beginning for PPTH starts. House and Wilson excel as Dean's of Medicine. House gets custody of Rachel House formerly Rachel Cuddy. Cuddy and Foreman serve 10 years and lose there medical licenses. Cuddy has to pay House 3 million in Damages and stay 2,000 feet from House, Rachel and PPTH. Tritter serves 10 years and moves away never bothering House, Cuddy and PPTH.
3 years later the newlywed Couple of
Dr. Greg House and Dr. Remy "thirteen" House get married surprising even themselves.
House discovers the cure for Huntingtons Disease and and 2 years later House & Thirteen are expecting a little boy with his dads eyes soon to be named Greg House jr.
