Dear Journal,

I put down my day on paper, cause it was unexpected in the best possible way. Natalie and I were cleaning out my closet to see if there was anything I could donate and we came across this big chest. Being the curious cat am I (ha ha!) I opened the lid and was surprised to see what I found. Dress-up clothes from when I was younger. It brings back memories of Chloe and I playing for hours, dressing up as what we thought "fancy" outfits looked like. To tell you the truth, when I look back on the memory, we probably looked pretty gawdy. Nathile leaves me to sort out clothes and that's when Plagg comes out of the cupboard.

"Why would you want a chest of clothes when you could have a chest full of cheese?" he asks, tossing one back as he speaks. I smile. "If you ever find that, Plagg, you could call it buried treasure."

Camembert is my cheese of choice, and I can't stand the smell. Oh well, if having superpowers means smelling smelly cheese, I'll put up with it. "You know, these clothes would really cheer up the kids at the hospital," Plagg suggests. "Have Marinette fix some up, and you could put on a play."

Huh. That's not actually a bad idea. "You maybe on to something there, buddy. Let's go see Marinette. Plagg,-" "Whoa, whoa, Adrien. Don't you think you should transform after you get outside?" Plagg asks. I tickle his small black tummy affectionately. "Since when did you become my voice of reason?" Plagg grins knowingly. "Please, Adrien. Mention the word "Marinette" and you get that love-sick dopey expression on your face."

I shoot him a look, even if he's right. I really like Marinette. Dragging the chest out into the hallway makes some noise, and Nathilie and my bodyguard come to see what's up. "My friend Marinette could fix these up so we could give them to the hospital. Would it be okay if I went over for awhile?"

Of course, Father's permission is required, and I hold my breath waiting for his answer. I know I could simply call Marinette, but it wouldn't be as fun as seeing her in person. Father comes out of his office and I stand up straight. "So, you want to go see Marinette about fixing up these clothes. Is that correct, Adrien?"

Even though he's Father, my mouth dries up as he stands straight, tall and intimidating. "Yes. Just for awhile." Father sighs, taking off his glasses and rubbing his eyes. "Very well. I'll have to the car pick you up in a little awhile."

I think Father is surprised when I give him an unexpected hug, then start to lug the chest out to the car.

I transform in the alleyway, then lift the chest up. Why is everything lighter as Cat Noir?

"Cat!" Marinette opens the door in surprise. "What are you doing here?" "I was cleaning out my room today, Princess, and I found these clothes. Thought maybe you could fix up so we could donate them to the hospital.

Marinette's pretty face lights up as she looks through the clothes. "I have an even better idea, Kitty. Come upstairs, and bring the trunk with you."

When we get up to her room, I see that she's working on two different outfits: One is a dress, and the other looks like it could be a suit of armor. "Marinette, don't you think this would be a bit heavy on me?" I ask, trying to figure out her plan. "No, silly. The material is made out of cardboard and buttons. If I can finish the outfits, we could put on a play."

"Sounds fun, what I can I do to help?" I ask, and she hands me a needle and thread. We work until our stomachs growl so we head downstairs for some cookies. We talk about what play we should put on, and we deice to do a Ladybug and Cat Noir play.

"What would Ladybug say to you saving her when she's the one who DE-evilizales the akumas?" Marinette nudges me. "Who says there's going to be akumas, Princess?" "That's right, you do like to rescues your damsel in distress." I step closer to her. "If you ever did rescuing, Marinette, I would be there for you." Our eyes lock for a moment.

"I should get going. Let's meet up soon to talk about the play." she nods and I give her a kiss on the cheek.

When I get home, Plagg sits on the coffee table and stares at me. I know something's up, because a piece of cheese is sitting by him and he's not eating it. "What?" I ask, taking a sip of my coffee.

"Don't think you should act out time Marinette's father got akumatized? The kids would love it." I'm about say no, but then I stop. "Jack and Beanstalk? You may have something buddy."

I tell Marinette the plan, and a couple of days later we put on the show for the kids. I could barely look at Tom though, he looked so funny with the furry rug on his back!

The kids loved it, and I saw Marinette giving them a special smile before we left. Could she be more sweet, Journal?

I guess the play brings back some memories, because I dream of rescuing Marinette from the beast as she looks as she holds her pink rose.

I wake suddenly, but what a dream.

Even if you get trapped in a maze of thorns and roses,

I will free you.

The vines separate us, but we are never separated by our love for each other.

Hiding among the roses so lovely, it is a barrier of thorns.

I will find a way to get you, my lovely Princess,

Your Prince Charming comes to save you.

-Cat Noir

Maybe Plagg is right. Could I possible have feelings for Marinette as well? I feel like I have heard the words "My Prince" spoken from her lovely lips before. But where? Was it a fairy tale? Or was it a nightmare?
