The group started to make their escape. They were followed by some Beastfolk, but they were dispatched by two mysterious figures. They almost reached the end before a large hulking Daemon caught up with them.
"They caught up with us!" Aoesia said.
"Galil, everyone. Take Azura and run. Renzo and I will hold him back for as long as we can." Barbarosa said.
"Are you mad?!" Rhatla asked. "You two can't take this guy on by yourselves!"
"Don't worry. As soon as we get the chance, we'll run. You all have to survive for Wyatt's sake as well. Get that package from Silver Rain, and hurry." Renzo said.
"He's right. We need to go." Esmeralda said.
"A-alright…" Azura said as they proceeded to leave Barbarosa and Renzo behind, successfully making their escape.
"Damn it… Dad… Renzo and Barbarosa… Why did this have to happen?" Azura asked as she looked like she was crying.
"They risked their lives for something more important than themselves." Esmeralda said. "That is a quality that can be considered quite valuable among warriors."
"Yes, and now we need to honor their requests and see the Silver Rain in the east plateau." Nesma said.
They soon reached the east plateau where they met two figures.
"Ah. That must be them." the white haired man said as they came by.
"We're Galil and Azura from the Night Ravens." Galil said. "These are our associates." he said motioning to Reformed Society.
"We're Helward and Max from the Silver Rain." the white-haired man said. "We came to deliver the Ornithopter that Renzo requested."
"So this vehicle is what Renzo meant by noisy package." Valfor said.
"You are heading for the North Cape Cave, correct?" Max asked. "Those who cannot fly will need this to get there. But what for? We already heard about what happened in Svalna."
"What else? To save our friends!" Azura said.
"That we get, but you can't just charge headlong without a plan." Helward said. "Thankfully, we have an idea of where they are going next."
"They will most likely be taken to the Caged Realm." Max said.
"Caged Realm?" Nesma asked.
"Yes, just on the other side of the wall." Max said. "I don't know how the Beastfolk get inside, but it's supposed to be where they imprison Humans."
"Several years ago, most of us in Silver Rain were sent over the wall when Badr picked up on our activities." Helward said.
"Some of us infiltrated by pretending to work for Badr, but then our communication with them was cut off." Max said. "We stayed on this side to help defend the area, but now we are left in the dark. That's why we want to help free Wyatt and everyone else too, the sooner the better."
"That's why we want you to plan ahead so that you don't make mistakes." Helward said. "That is how you will do all that you can to save them."
"Thanks for letting us use this." Agursu said. "It might not get us over the wall, but we'll manage with what we have."
"Be careful, all of you. And here is to hoping our paths cross again." Helward said.
