(Early Authors Note: Greetings! For those of you who don't know me, TaleBearer42Day is the name and telling Tales is my game. I've decided to just go ahead and make another fanfic cause I just have so many i've been working on, and I'd like them out to the public quick. So, here we are! A dragon from the world of Tamriel in a world where dragons probably never existed at all. Lets see how this Tale turns out, eh?)
It all started ages ago.
But in another world entirely. And there was a certain province within this world that all the future troubles and tales of this story come forth. That land was called…
Skyrim.
It was a cold and mountainous land. Originally home to the ancient race of Snow Elves, now home to the Atmorans, or Nords, as many people call them nowadays. But now, the Nords are fighting back against the Dragons themselves.
Way before the Atmorans set foot on Skyrim, they served and worshiped the Dragons on their homeland-continent of Atmora. That relationship was a (surprisingly) steady-going ship. But after landing on Skyrim, and settling there, the Dragons grew cruel and ruthless, demanding mass sacrifices and other such horrifying things. Why they would all of a sudden do such things is beyond anyone. But the Dragons themselves don't know or care, they just like lording over those that they deem benath them. That being literally anything and anyone that wasn't a Dragon.
Soon, the Nords had had enough.
At first, they were losing. Terribly. But after being aided by the Goddess of Storms, Kynareth, and the Dragon Paarthurnax, they learned the Thu'um.
The very power of their Voices could help them stand a chance against the Dragons.
Soon, Dragon after Dragon was slain by the very power they themselves first wielded. They still do wield them, but against the numerous humans that stood against them, they couldn't do very much. And when the final decisive battle came, one Dragon stood out amongst the rest.
His name was Bromstrunnah.
He was recognized by Alduin himself for his power and sheer determination to win this war. In fact, quite a few of the victories that the Dragons did get were because of Bromstrunnah.
His Voice can call winter thunder and wild winds, while a bone-shivering chill sweeps across the land. An aura of coldness and spite seems to just come off him. But he was a beautiful Dragon, nonetheless. His scales and wings look as if they were touched by virgin snow then colored by dark blue frost.
The final battle took place upon the Throat of the World, the highest mountain in all of Skyrim (if not all of Tamriel).
As Alduin faced three of the Nords ("They must have been the leaders." Bromstrunnah thought) the other Dragons fought the great force that rose against them. Suffice to say, both sides were getting fairly beaten. As he froze a dozen Nords into statues, Bromstrunnah noticed the old man produce something while Alduin flung the female Nord around.
It was an Elder Scroll.
"In! Beware faal Kel!" He shouted as he sped to his lord's rescue.
But it was too late, the old man had chanted the words, the Time-Wound had appeared, and just like that, Alduin the World-Eater was gone. The Dragons that saw what happened knew their continuation of fighting would be futile, so they fled.
All but the North Storm's Fury fled the victorious Nordic army.
"OD BAH TOOR!" He yelled as he charged the two of the three Nord heroes (the third had been tossed about like a ragdoll by Alduin).
Soon, the sky darkened, and a blizzard of snow and ice raged across the mountain. The cold of the blizzard burned many of the Nords, their resistance to the cold unable to protect them from this raw chilly power.
Bromstrunnah was lost in a rage as he killed Nord after Nord. It sadly proved to be his undoing for he failed to notice the old man pulling out the Elder Scroll again. When he did, he realized he must flee now.
But, he was already trapped.
And yet… the Scroll acted strange. The light surrounding him was different to Alduins. This was no Time-Wound, this was some type of translocation.
Yet even the Nords knew not what they did, the old man chanted the same words, yet the wrong ritual was happening. Bromstrunnah didn't like it either way.
"Fin! Daar nis kos faal end! Faal Dovahhe los wa rule, ni hi! Hi fent rue daar sul, Bronne!"
Those were his last words before being engulfed in the strange light and sent to Gods-know-where.
At...?
When he awoke, he couldn't move his body. As if something was holding him down. He was wide awake then, and thrashing about trying to get free. But he soon noticed the massive crowd of humans before him.
They were watching him as if he was some pet, or strange beast! How dare they! How dare they mock and gawk at their overlord! He will teach them, oh yes he will! But even worse, they were starting to auction him off! Do they truly believe that Dragons are mindless beasts? What has happened to the fellow Dovah here then?
In his rage, he finally broke free from his constraints and looked down upon the mortals before him and said "Hi zahhe do uncouth reyliik dare wa chain zu'u! Zu'u los Bromstrunnah, zu'u los felnirre deathly krah incarnate! Hi fen pah diin!"
Then, he let loose his power of the Thu'um and laid waste to the entire town.
None were spared from his wrath and ruin. All would freeze until the people, houses and landscape itself looked like nothing but cold glass!
When he was done, he roared a mighty roar that all the world could hear, then sped off.
This world was not Tamriel, but that doesn't mean Bromstrunnah would just lay down and live out his days in a cave.
The Elder Scrolls always seemed to bring trouble one bad way or a worse one.
Nonetheless, he would go forth to bring about death and slaughter until he rebirthed the Dragon Cult and found a way to bring his kin here as well. But first, he needed somewhere to regain his strength. This sun was making him too hot, so he flew towards the north.
Every town or village he came across, he made sure to let it be known that the Dovah are here and that they will make all bow to them.
"Hail zu'u nu, zahhe! Fah faal dovahhe sizaan meyz, ahrk pah fen qiilaan mu mu! Kneel ahrk aam ko laas, uv kos frozen mahfaeraak ko dinok!"
Although none of the people understood what he said, they heard a few words such as 'kneel' and so that's what they did.
Those that ran or fought back were slaughtered immediately.
Bromstrunnah laughed inwardly at all of this.
No one had yet used the Thu'um upon him. He must really be in another world entirely. Things are finally coming together for him at last. As he was enjoying these thoughts and coming up with future plans, he saw a greater change in landscape.
Great mountains all around, and in the distance, a large city of sorts.
As much as Bromstrunnah wanted to freeze it to the ground as well, he needed followers, and this small insignificant-looking kingdom (if it could be called that) was the perfect starting point.
He announced his arrival with a thunderous roar and a blast of icy frost, (think of it as a giant fireball but frozen,) that completely missed the castle.
That was just a warning shot.
If these humans attack, he won't miss again. He never misses twice.
"Zahhe! Hon zu'u ahrk thaar! Zu'u los bromstrunnah, proud dovah se sizaan land do keizaal! Hi fen pah aam zu'u, ahrk faal dovah cult fent kos reborn again! Drun forth hin drog, ful mu ziistmaas sizaan rotte! Uv else hin petty kingdom fen look med petty frozen ruins!" He bellowed as he hovered in the air, overlooking the terrified masses before him.
Soon, just before he thought about destroying it all, he saw a boy in regal clothes followed by a blue-haired girl in equally regal clothing, accompanied by a white-haired girl.
One of these was the lord, and therefore that one knows to bend their knee.
If they were wise…
(Ending Authors Note: I hope this was something to your liking. I apologize for not putting up the translation of what Bromstrunnah said, but the thing I use to do that is acting up. But I'll be sure to do that in the next chapter (if you all would like to see the next chapter?). And yes, I know it says X-overs but that's because the name of the anime A Genius Prince's Guide is apparently not an option yet. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. Anyways, please review, follow, favorite and share with others and I'll see you all next time!)
