The group had to take a trudge through the nearby forest, before they come across a gate.

"No doubt about it. This is the entrance to the Catacombs." Esmeralda said.

"It doesn't look like there is anyone here." Nesma said. "Hmm… There seems to be a marking on the pillar there."

"Why not try that access spell the Beastfolk taught us?" Cheetah asked.

"Certainly." Nesma said as she placed her hand on the pillar. This caused the marking to flash and the gate to open.

"Works like a charm." Glacius said. "This could be pretty useful in the future. I hope everyone gets their bearings together. Once we reach the Bastille, I would imagine that it would be difficult to come back this way."

"Doubly so if we get caught." Cheetah said.

"We can imagine. But this is the best way to get there besides the front. I don't think that guard would be willing to let us through." Jessica said.

"So, this way it is. Let's get to it, everybody." Zamazenta said.

The group then proceeded underground, and after going through the maze-like structure, they managed to come up and the prison cells.

"Alright. We've made it inside." Riesz said.

"Hmm… Security doesn't seem as tight as we had hoped." Bassam said.

"Well, the Beastfolk of this world aren't exactly reliable wardens." Valfor said.

"All the more easier for us, it would seem." Cheetah said.
