I do not own Okami or RWBY.
Prologue
Amaterasu Ōmikami, the celestial sun goddess, sighed. It's been four years since Yami was defeated by her hand, saving the celestial plane and the inhabitants of the middle plane (Nippon). She and the other Kami's have been worshiped for this immensely, but that wasn't the reason for her sigh; it was the thrill of combat that gave her the rush of 'adrenaline' as they say, but now, she lays to rest till she is called.
In short, she was bored.
The greatest enemy to her entire existence was because of her rest. The other kami's either usually didn't notice or ignored it for her sake. She huffed in annoyance, taking a large swig of her saké. She felt heavy rumbles from the ground, making her groan. This was the eighth time that one of the kami's entered her home, usually either for a blessing or accidental wandering in between planes of motals. While she couldn't see them, she felt something off, making her fur spike up. The divine and spiritual energy that freely flowed seemed to abruptly stop. Amaterasu quickly summoned her trusty weapons, Tundra beads and Solar Flare, before walking towards the anomaly. With each step, she felt a dark and light presence clash against the energy; She stopped a few feet from the anomaly. Looking up, Amaterasu, in a long time, snarled at the intruders.
The apathetic brother gods of light and dark, people who were banished after their abandonment of a civilization. The people worshiped them and yet, they left; taking their gifts to doom the people. The false gods craned their necks in a synchronized motion, trying to intimidate the young wolf; but to no avail, only determination and raw anger radiated from her.
"Why are you here, awerena kamigami?" Amaterasu asked, with no containment of her anger.
"We ask of your as-"
"You do not ask for help," She snarled, "You either take or force your problems on other Kami's!"
"You misunderstand wise one," They interjected, "We ask for help from you, as you defeated Yami."
"So?"
"Our creations are causing havoc to the cosmic energy that other gods sustain on." Light said, showing his left arm to her. All hostility and anger dissipated, with shock and worry taking its place. His arm was dissappearing every second, leaking wild energy. While She and the other's use spiritual energy to sustain, other lower gods or on-par gods use cosmic energy to live; hearing this, the balance of the planes of celestial gods will collapse, inviting unknown gods of other nebulas.
She sighed, while she hated these false gods, being in pain constantly (for example, starvation) is something that even she didn't wish upon her enemies.
"Whyme," She asked, "You could have ask the Olympians or the Buddhist gods."
"They both do not wish to interrupt a conflict between different parties." They all frowned equally at this, most gods dislike or out right hated the Olympians for their ways of ruling is backwards and petty; as for the Buddhist, she doesn't have a opinion for them as talks between them is limited at best.
"I will regret this later on," She began, causing the brothers to perk up, "I, Amaterasu Ōmikami, will help under one condition."
"Of course, what is your proposal?"
"Both of you are to never return here unless told to by me or the thirteen brush gods," She said with no room to disagree, "Am I understood?"
They bowed and in sync said, "We agree to these terms and will honor it, this we swear."
She hummed, then nodded, "I require information, as I won't jump in blindly."
Both of them gave her a quick explanation with Dust, Aura and the general gist of the planet. Though, the next bit made her confused.
"Faunus?"
"Humans with animal traits like ears or a tail, like a dog," Light answered, "Before you ask, no, I didn't create them as even I don't know how they appeared."
She nodded, shelving that thought for later. The world sounds like hers, without aura and dust of course, but she has an idea of how to solve the problem. Find either a woman named 'Salem' or 'Ozma' and destroy/help their group, depending on their intentions in their phony war. One problem always persists, how or who will she be?
"May I ask either of you a simple question?" She asked, making the brothers nod, "How will I blend in, as you know, being a wolf will be odd in the world."
They brothers looked at each other and frowned, "We have a solution, but you may not like it."
She groaned, "Dare I ask?"
"The best way is to change you into a faunus, as your human form is considered too pure and may cause issues later on." She began to argue, but stopped. They have a point as her human body is flawless with curvy that will make heads turn. "Of course, we will revert you back to your original form when you finish."
"Wouldn't that use your energy?" She asked, hoping it doesn't. The strains of Light were visible, as well as his facial expression, but he seems to be fine.
"If Light does it, then yes," Darkness sighed, probably premeditated her question, "I have enough for this plan to work, the rest is up to you."
Damn if she do, damn if she don't. She doesn't trust them, but she could see the writing on the walls if she doesn't; huffing, she raised both paws up in the air, making the two grab one.
"From life and death, destruction and creation, We bestow Amaterasu Ōmikami, sun goddess, passage to Remnant," Darkness began, his older brother picking up, "May the passage be well, Amaterasu."
She felt a warm, cold and different senses wash across her, but one stood out the most.
The Pain.
She yelped, as she's still a wolf, it slowly died out; then she blacked out.
A/N: I'm alive!
Sorry for the long pause as my school took our computers (Cromebooks) for inventory, so I was unable to finish the next chapter for Divided Light. This story was inspired by 'Constellations' By UnwelcomedStorm, a very good story. Also, the end of this story seems lazy, but I was finishing it in the middle or class; practically rushed on time.
Anyways, see you in the next chapter!
