The group set out and upon reaching the new realm, they saw islands floating in the sky. They ran into a Dragoon named Matilda, who escorted them to the town of Eshtern…by having them ride on dragons. Once they reached the city, they were escorted to the temple.
"We may need to wait for a while, so please be patient." Matilda said.
"I take it the Star Heirarch is the ruler of this place?" Aoesia asked.
"That's right. He's a prophet who divines the glittering heavens, and we Dragonguard owe our loyalty to him." Matilda said.
Matilda guides the group inside to see a man on a throne.
"Lord Star Heirarch, these are the people who came from the outside world on flying ships." Matilda said.
"From the outside… So are they the ones responsible for the aberrations in the lightning?" the Star Prophet asked.
"Well… Kind of." Zamazenta said. "The Great Barrier raised by the Daemons weakened, and we flew our ships over it."
"The Great Barrier? To what end?" the Star Prophet asked.
"The Daemons were distorting the surface, we were simply attempting to restore it to its former state." Nesma said.
"With your permission, we wish to explore this realm." Esmeralda said.
"Very well. I shall permit it." the Star Prophet said. "However, your skyships will remina in our possession for the time being."
"We understand." Esmeralda said.
"Well, at least it's better than being jailed like back in Hakurei Castle." Captain Cold said.
"It doesn't seem like he trusts us very much, though." Toya said.
"Flying around in a ship like ours, I wouldn't trust me either." George said.
"No, I think there's more to it than just distrust." Cheetah said.
"The way he said he'll have the ships 'for the time being' is most concerning." Jade said. "There are some things in there that are not for prying eyes."
"Let's go see what Matilda has to say about this." Nesma said.
The group saw Matilda in the pub.
"Oh, it's you guys. Apologies for the way things went." Matilda said.
"If you ask me, he seemed really adamant about not hearing us out." Valfor said.
"It's not like that, I am sure. I'm sure he has something in mind." Matilda said. "Besides, he does plan to return your ships to you, right? So you shouldn't worry about it."
"Time is unfortunately a luxury we don't have. We need to find and destroy the Ether Gear." Cheetah said.
"Hmm… There may be some way to help you guys out. Hold on just a moment." Matilda said.
The group soon came outside after Matilda to see the dragons.
"Well, it looks like we are flying again." Agito said.
The group were flying until they reached a cave.
"This place is known as the Dragon's Den." Matilda said.
"Dragon's Den? What does that mean?" Agursu asked.
"I cannot lend other my Faflazard, nor can I go far from Eshtern without permission." Matilda said. "However, it won't be much of an issue if you all had dragons of your own."
"That's really nice of you." Kayra said.
"You make it sound like the Star Heirarch wasn't always like this." Bassam said.
"Yes, I concur. It is as if he didn't expect any of this to happen." Kareem said.
"It is not my place to explain right now. Anyway, I hope you all find suitable dragons for yourselves." Matilda said.
