After the group got used to riding their own dragons, they spotted a village nearby. There wasn't much, but the villagers didn't seem preturbed about seeing the Daemons, Beastfolk, and even some of the Reformed Society members. They were however, attacked by some Beastfolk and Daemons before deciding to return to Eshtern. When they got there, they saw that it was being attacked by Daemons. They headed up to the chapel to see a familiar Daemon.
"Oh great. Not you again." Rhatla said.
"Hmph. You brats again! You're just like an itch that just won't go away!" Rouge said.
"You can talk all you want, this is the end for you!" Valfor said.
"Not quite. I don't have time to play with you right now." Rouge said as he teleported out of the chapel.
"Guh… Twas the price we pay for being loyal to the Daemons. We created a lawful society, and thought they would acknowledge our worth." the Star Heiracrch said on the ground.
"Yeah, and look where it got you. Lying on the ground by the very people you tried to curry favor with." Rayleigh said. "Face it, they don't care about us. They'd rather enslave us into their society."
"Why would I expect you dregs to understand our society?" the Star Heirarch asked before Rayleigh grabbed him.
"Whow, whoa! Ray, simmer down! He's not worth it!" Agursu said.
"Listen here, you crudgy stuck-up! The Daemons are on the loose now because you refused to listen to us when we said they have operations here. And now the only thing stopping us from driving them out of this realm is you claming up about it and focusing on judging us for some misconception! So, are you finally gonna tell us something about this or what?" Rayleigh asked.
"Th-The Rainbow Pillar. That's where he is most likely headed to. He stole the Holy Sword needed to enter the tower. No ordinary person can wield it, but someone of his power might be able to." The Star Heirarch said as Rayleigh finally released him.
"It's not like him to make a move like this, though." Esmeralda said.
"He must be getting desperate." Cheetah said. "In any case, we know where he is heading. We need to move, now."
The group took to the skies and found a hole in the sea of clouds.
"This must be the entrance to the Rainbow Pillar. So Rouge really did bust his way in!" Rosalie said.
They saw a few Beastfolk on dragons blocking the way in.
"Get out of our way!" Glacius said.
"Let me handle this." Matilda said as she flew in. "I'll keep these guys busy while you all go after Rouge!"
"Understood. Thanks, Matilda." Glacius said as the group flew in.
The group was going through a maze of clouds before they saw a building-like structure.
"I think I see it!" Belladonna said.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Koren said as they saw the building had different colors for each floor.
"Yep. This is the Rainbow Pillar, alright." Luke said.
"It's-It's huge! And this is really and Ancient Etheract?" Aoesia asked. "Wait… Are we gonna have to climb again?"
"It looks like we will have to. It's a pretty long way up." Cheetah said.
"This is gonna be a long day, I can feel it." Rayleigh said.
