Hey guys. Been a while since I last wrote a SoKai story. I came up with this simple little drabble which I hope you like. Happy reading. :)

"Wow, Sora!" Kairi's blue eyes twinkled softly. "Have you gotten taller lately?"
"I suppose I have!" Sora grinned broadly. as he always did whenever the attention of the young Princess of Heart. "And I think you have too, Kairi."
Kairi smiled adoringly up at the brunette boy she loved so much. She shyly ran a finger through her shortened red hair before holding her hands together behind her back.
"I'm still nowhere near as tall as you," she said softly. "You've always towered over me ever since we were kids. At this right, you're gonna leave me behind and I won't be able to reach that cute face of yours…"
"Well then," Sora said, his heart racing at the compliment Kairi had given him, "we can easily fix that, can't we?"
The boy stood before the girl and wrapped his arms around her middle. A squeak instantly escaped Kairi as her cheeks turned pink over what Sora was doing to her. She gazed up at him with wide blue eyes - as he lifted her up from his feet to press her lips against her own.
A soft sound of happiness came from the young princess as she felt herself being kissed by the love of her life. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she kissed him back. Her feet dangled as she allowed him to hold her in his arms. There was nowhere Kairi felt safer than in the protective embrace of Sora.
The couple kept their lips sealed together for a good few moments. Over a whole minute passed before they finally pulled away. Sora gazed at the beautiful girl before him, chuckling to see her sweet face was as red as his own.
"I'm not leaving you behind," he assured her. "I promise."
Kairi beamed brightly. She knew Sora always stuck to any promise he made. Feeling so grateful and happy to have him in her life, she allowed him to continue carrying her off her feet while she ran a hand through his brown spiky hair.
"I love you, Sora."
"Love you too, Kairi."
