"THE VIKINGS WERE A…RATHER SAVAGE PEOPLE INHABITING MUCH OF NORWAY DURING THE 8th CENTURY, OFTEN PILLAGING AND BURNING DOWN VILLAGES. IT'S IN THE YEAR 981 WHERE MR. PEABODY HAS TIME-TRAVELED, BRINGING WITH HIM ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE ON A HIGHLY IMPORTANT EXPEDITION…"
"Gentlemen," Peabody spoke, adjusting the furry, horned hat upon his head. "We must help Leif Erickson discover America!"
"Wait, wait, hold up, didn't Columbus discov--" Rocky started to speak.
"No, no, Columbus was a dirtbag!" Bullwinkle replied, saying something actually intelligent for once. "He didn't discover America!"
"Yes." Peabody replied, clearing his throat. "According to history, a millennium before Columbus, Leif Erickson was actually the first man to discover the North American continent, although he tended to call it--"
"—VINLAND!" The titular, muscular bound, red headed Viking exclaimed, holding up an enormous scroll map of the sea. "COME GENTLEMEN! LET US SET SAIL!"
"AND SO, OUR THREE HEROES WATCHED AS THE VIKINGS HOISTED THE SAILS OF THEIR LONGBOATS AND PREPARED TO CAST OFF INTO THE FRIGID OCEAN."
"LEIF!" A particularly skinny Viking exclaimed, holding up Peabody. "SHOULD WE BRING THESE GUYS?!"
"LEIF GASPED AT THE SIGHT OF ROCKY."
"RATATOSKR!!!" Leif exclaimed, pointing at Rocky. "GET THE CAAAGE!"
"IN NO TIME AT ALL ROCKY WAS PLACED INTO A METAL CAGE AND THROWN ONBOARD THE LONGBOAT."
"Mr. Peabody!" Rocky exclaimed, fearfully skittering about the small cage. "WHAT'S HAPPENING!?"
"Don't panic Rocky, apparently they believe you to be Ratatoskr—a mischievous, gossiping creature from their mythology…" Peabody spoke, holding up an ancient manuscript with a horned squirrel climbing a tree. "We'll get you out of that cage somehow..."
"Hope it's soon..." Rocky remarked, turning around to find multiple icicles on his tail. "It's freezin'!"
"MAKE SURE TO BE WITH US NEXT TIME FOR "Thor: Ragna-Rocky!" OR "I've taken a Viking to you!"!"
