Summary : Httyd AU dragon!Toothcup , add up towards Our Curse story, understandable for anyone
It was strangest woke up she had in hers entire life. She wasn't sure how was that even possible, as by time she did, hers eyes were already opened, stood onto hers legs, likely she was sleepwalking? Anyway, at first, hers vision was blurred, she couldn't likely register any of hers surroundings. It was only moment later when it focused and first thing she was welcomed with was light, or more likely lights. Those were in random colours. Some orange, purple and pale blue, but even so being rather beauty, those were painfully hurting hers eyes, not used towards such sensation. Immediately she blinked hers eyes rapidly, just to be rather shocked as after while these became crystals in hers sight.
Tilting onto those hers head, she was able to catch hers reflection in it. Black scaled, with those being purple underneath brightness, with two mighty wings and long tail ended up with two fins, dragoness. Hers dark, forest, green eyes were staring onto reflection, rather curiously alike. Truth is, she would continue onto doing so, if it wasn't for hers growing stress caused by hers lack of knowledge about reason of being here. Shaking hers muzzle, finally she turned away as she walked somewhere into random direction, trying to catch glance of anything which would be resemble for her.
Mere moments later she was becoming only more tensed, as in difference of finding anything she was walking through cave she found herself in. Despite hers night vision reasoned by hers draconic eyes, she felt strange darkness which was encircling her, terribly alike. Eventually, she started whining uncomfortably, but even so tried remain calm. She felt lonely... That was moment something in hers mind clicked, making her worried about. Where was everyone? Was there anyone? Where was he? Was he alright? Have something bad happened? Forgetting about all of hers stresses now, she rushed forward immediately, roaring in meanwhile. It wasn't moment later when she found herself out of that horrible cave, but even so she wasn't bothered into analysing surroundings. Hers mission was to find anyone now.
By time, tiredness caught her as she stopped, hers muzzle hanging low as she was panting in meanwhile. It was then, with large bump there was presence which appeared behind hers form. As it did, hers back shivered, but even so she glanced backwards onto it, immediately becoming joyful at the knowledge of identity of newcomer. Rather big, as well as her black scaled, but in difference of her his scales were blue alike over reflection of light, dragon. She ran forward to him, not bothered by fact he was turned opposite direction from her, within moment finding herself against his neck, caressing it now. "Toothless!" She squealed happily as she screamed upon him through hers mind-speaking way. "You don't know how much delighted I am to see you!" Continuing onto stroking his neck within hers muzzle she purred, but thereafter as she didn't get any of his response she slightly moved back, way she was able to see his eyes. When she did, those bright, green eyes of his were in slits, staring somewhere farther into dirt. It was that moment she noticed he was panting. She bumped hers muzzle into his chin slightly. "Buddy? Do you even hear me?" He didn't flinch, stayed as he was.
Afterwards, she kept roaring onto him now, way for him to regain his consciousness. It seemed it worked, as after mere moment he painfully alike closed his eyes tightly, eventually started blinking. When he stopped, he glanced over her, but way she could say he still wasn't rather focused, he purred. "Hiccup?" Dragoness before him instaltly threw hers muzzle underneath his chin, keeping it as she was enjoying warmness of his. At first he was rather surprised, but even so he returned favour, placing his muzzle over top of hers head, closing his eyes in meantime, as well enjoying moment. As theirs embrace ended he licked hers nose at which she twitched within it, thereafter purring pleased. His eyes finally were able to get good vision as he stared onto her calmly. "Is something wrong? You seem distressed. Are you alright?" He touched hers nose within his.
She giggled, dragon alike way as he did. "I'm fine." She focused. "Where are we, buddy?" She turned hers head, way hers sight was somewhere farther. He followed her and as he did his eyes widened, even so Hiccup seemed to not notice it as she inhaled. Surroundings were beautiful now. Those crystals were attached to the ceiling, or rather stalactites as it seemed they were in giant cave, making it whole rather dark, but same way pretty bright. By time, she took notice both of them were at stone disk, connected within one of walls, underneath which river made its way through whole location. She glanced towards Toothless, hoping male would share excitement she felt now, but in difference of that, it seemed he was likely more shocked about being here. Thereafter he became even anxious as he growled silently. She tilted hers head upon him.
He snapped his sight onto her rapidly. "We can't stay here."
"Why not? Something's wrong?" By sight of hers big, forest alike eyes he calmed slightly, but not enough to stop feeling of upcoming onto them danger.
"I will explain later." He pushed hers side with his muzzle, making her slightly move forward, immediately she froze as that happened. "Hideout first."
She snarled. "Even so I'm dragon rather short amount of time, as for longer part of my life I was living among humans-" She made him offended glare. "-doesn't mean I have to be compared to a child!" Thereafter, she impacted hers muzzle into his side, showing him what she meant.
He smirked. "You're clumsy, stubborn, clueless and inattentive. You might not be child as you say-" He licked top of hers head as he encircled his tail around hers smaller form, bringing both of them together. "-but you're mine hatchling."
She turned hers muzzle away from him, rather frowned. "I'm not hatchling and for sure not yours." She snarled. "Because of which stop already treating me like that!" She glanced over him rapidly as she growled. "Understood?" She brought hers chin higher, raising it alike. He didn't seem to be bothered by hers words. Immediately thereafter his eyes shine brightly as she knew he got idea. Instantly, he moved back, but even so suddenly he rushed forward, his head making its way underneath hers stomach, shocking her much as within moment hers body was brought over his. As it was done, within mighty push of wings, both happened to be in air as Hiccup was likely lying onto his back now. She grimaced. He carried her just like hatchling. She roared. "Toothless!"
As time passed, both flew through air, somewhere closer towards crystals at top of cave than towards ground. Despite tense atmosphere around them Hiccup still focused into enjoying view around them, because who wouldn't? If you live through whole life as human onto same island, such sights aren't unbothered by her. For that moment saddening for her was behaviour of hers companion, which in difference of her was anxious and nervous, but most shocking for her was way of his knowledge about place. Instead of random flying, searching for safe place, which should probably end up with thousands of mistakes, he almost perfectly flew, as he knew where his target is. Hiccup would ask him about that, if it wasn't for radiating distress coming out from him.
Eventually hers thoughts were interrupted as said dragon snorted over her, getting hers attention in meanwhile, pointing within his muzzle onto stone shelve with cave over it. She nodded, understood what he meant as she glided towards its direction, carefully landing, thereafter glancing over him, waiting for him to do same. As he did, both walked inside, with Toothless after her, still staring onto entrance of cave. Thereafter Toothless shot somewhere farther into it, hitting onto crystal up there, lighting it up and as Hiccup looked around afterwards, was astonished by location.
Cave which supposed to be covered into dark, now was illuminating into colours of beautiful purple. By walls of it, it seemed source of water has its place, but most shocking for her was way fishes were taking its place into it. Eventually, still experiencing it Hiccup noticed Toothless which already laid onto ground, staring onto her now relaxed, dreamy alike. She giggled at that, thereafter continued onto hers doings, while doing so taking notice of burnedin circles ground. Idea streamed inside hers skull. "You saw those burns?" She pointed onto those, gaining Toothless's attention. "Those looks like made by dragons. It might be some kind of nest."
"Cleaver as always, aren't we?" He chuckled, but afterwards saddened. "I know that already."
"Something tells me that's not only thing you know about that place." She glanced over him, momentarily when she noticed slightly guilt painted onto his face she exhaled, walked towards him and laid just next to him in little distance. Both of theirs muzzles were against ground and sensing his lasting distress she bumped theirs noses together, which made its work as Toothless purred, comfortably.
"You probably have a lot of questions, don't you?" He exhaled. "I guess I have to answer all of them."
"Excellent!" She squealed. "Something like fifty five of those-" He rolled his eyes. "I'm not joking! I counted them! One of those is what is yours favourite type of fishes."
He smirked. "Honestly, I prefer Haddocks."
She frowned. "Really hilarious-" She straightened. "-but seriously now, because I really have to know, alright?" He nodded, stared onto her, making her rather sure he was listening carefully. Hers eyes widened, intensively. "I took notice you know that place, so you might finally explain-"
"Hidden world." He became serious. "We're in space which has its place somewhere underneath sea." She inhaled hearing it. He chuckled. "Right, that's pretty amazing, but most important about that location is that it's nest." He growled. "Nest of two dragon types, Night Furies and-"
"No way! It's Night Furies nest!" She squirmed, excited. "Is it yours nest?! You were born here?! You don't know how many questions I have now!"
He shook his head, rather happily. "Hatchling alike." She shot him offended glare. He chuckled, afterwards exhaled. "Well, that's right. It's my nest, I was born here and I lived here through some time of my life."
"When was last time you were here?"
"Something like ten years ago?"
"Why are you so?!" She worried. "It's beautiful place! Beautiful sights, safe and-" Hers eyes widened. "-there might be another Night Furies!" She squealed. "We have to search for them!"
She was about to jump upright, but she was stopped as he growled snappily. "There is no point." She looked over him same confused and worriedly. "I'm sorry sunshine, but I don't think there are more Night Furies than we are."
"But, maybe you're not right, buddy! If we searched, if we did, we might have-"
"Hiccup stop that!" He roared, raised himself slightly. "I'm saying you, and you don't listen! I already searched, I already wasted so much time for nothing! There is no more of them!" He panted, thereafter once again laid onto ground, slightly farther than he was earlier from her, avoiding hers sight. "No more." He whimpered.
Hiccup's heart broke at sight. She felt terrible for not listening to him now. Eventually, she exhaled. Stood up and ignoring his signals about willingness of being alone, she walked towards him, within hers muzzle streamed it against his body from his side towards his neck, thereafter laying just next to him, afterwards caressing his neck, purring in meanwhile. "I'm sorry, Toothless." She whimpered. "I sometimes forgot how much you went through and I just hoped that-"
"It's okay." He stroked his muzzle against top of hers head. "You had good intentions. I just reacted too far."
"I wish I could do something for you more." She raised hers head, theirs eyes met as she done so. "Only thing I can give you is me." She moved hers head away, ashamed, avoiding him now.
Instantly, within his muzzle, he pushed hers, way it was back onto its previous place before his. Green of theirs eyes once again met. "Honestly, it's beyond being enough."
Hers eyes widened happily. "Really?" She squealed.
He licked hers nose as he chuckled. "Of course, silly." She giggled, both smiled at each other comfortably. Eventually, they ended up into position in which Hiccup was curled just next to him, within his wing against hers back and his tail encircled around hers smaller form, but even so they still were staring at each other.
"Back to theme buddy, why didn't you come back here?" Despite being onto ground Hiccup tilted hers head. "I mean, ten years is a lot of time."
He straightened. "Red Death." Thereafter, Hiccup flinched uncomfortably at memory. He tightened his grip of wing onto her. "Hey..." He purred softly. "It's after us! We beat it. You beat it!" He smirked onto her, rather proudly. "After all, you were one to shot that last blast."
She embarrassed, still smiley alike. "Well, you would probably make it ten times better than me."
"Let's start with that I would never came with plan like this." He bumped into hers, raised now, chin. "Don't make yourself look any less here. You were amazing." He caress hers cheek.
In meanwhile he did, she let him, but even so was likely embarrassed and blushed by his compliments, not visibly cause of scales which covering were hers skin. "Thank you." As he continued onto his doings, both started purring when Hiccup as well caress his cheek. Eventually both stopped, and within that moment something clicked inside hers mind. "Toothless, what we're actually doing here? I mean, you know situation! We aren't here actually out of free will. I would never know how to get here, despite of it here I am!"
"I actually thought about it-" He flinched ashamed. "-and I forgot to inform you that-" He smiled sheepishly. "-it's mating season for dragons." Hers eyes widened. "I mean, those are last days of it and today is day eggs would be laid. That means every dragon would travel for his nest and those who won't would be forced by theirs natural instincts, like us. Of course, those which belongs towards nest within queen in acts different, but that's other story."
"Wait, conclusion. Today's still mating season, or is it already ended?"
"Well, it's still is." Hiccup moved back, frightened. He shook his head instantly. "No, no! We don't have to, Hiccup! Don't worry! I mean-" He exhaled, tangled his tail around hers, purring loudly, trying in doing so to calm her down. "-that's nothing we are forced into. We just have to be here. It's okay."
"Fine." She inhaled rather shakily. "I just-" She whimpered. "I was dragon rather short amount of time. I mean, okay, those were five years after all-" She shallowed. "-but I didn't understand how to live back then! It was only two months since I met you, since you learned me way of things." She glanced over him nervously. "I'm just not ready to have hatchling!"
"And that's alright! We really aren't forced into anything! Anyway-" He smirked. "-I'm also not ready to take care of two hatchings." Immediately, Hiccup offended. Turning his head away from him, she laid down, ignoring him now. He giggled, thereafter placed his head just besides hers, almost making theirs cheeks to touch. "But you know, by time you gain that experience,-" He caress hers cheek. "-when I stop consider you as my hatchling,-" She rolled hers eyes, but even so smiled. "-when we will feel comfortable with that, we might give it a try." He purred, dreamily. "That would be something, ours hatchling, don't you think?"
She purred, laid more comfortable against him. "True, that would be something." She closed hers eyes, enjoyed warmth besides her and Toothless did same, thereafter placing his head just over hers in kind of embrace. They stayed like that for moment later, but eventually Toothless raised his head and yawned, doing so to not bother Hiccup underneath him within his movements.
He pocked her within his head. "Are you sleeping, sunshine?"
Tiredly, Hiccup opened hers eyes. "What~" She blinked. "Maybe~." She yawned.
Toothless focused. "Maybe it's not that bad idea." She glanced over him, exhausted. "We might sleep trough that time."
"I agree." She laid down, but was surprised as in difference of joining her, Toothless walked somewhere farther into cave. She tilted hers head onto him. "What you're even doing, bud?" It was that moment he jumped momentarily, stabbed his claws into stone as climbed upright, within Hiccup still staring onto him questioningly. Eventually, it seemed he done what he wanted as he encircled his tail around one of stalactites over ceiling, letting go of wall, hanging upside down now. Thereafter, he glanced over her, opened his wings and she instantly understood. "No way I'm doing it as well. I might improved my mobility skills, but not enough to do something like this."
"Don't be like that, sunshine." He purred. "We already slept like that. What difference it makes?"
"Well, we slept onto branch of tree, onto which it's easier to climb." She looked over his tail tangled onto stalactite. "Also I wasn't scared of slipping."
"I promise nothing like that would happen." He smiled onto her. "Don't you trust me?"
She exhaled, but he was right, she trusted him. Eventually, she started repeating his earlier doings. Carefully, she climbed upright and ending in same position he was earlier she stopped immediately. Toothless purred onto her, getting for her to know everything was alright. She breathed loudly, but listened to him, tangled hers tail just onto stalactite next to his, hanging now. Tightening hers eyes while doing so, she opened them only in moment when she felt bump into hers nose. By time those opened wholly, she noticed Toothless which actually was before her within his wings still opened, rather proud of hers doings. She calmed, relaxed slightly, but it was that moment hers horrible thought came towards reality. She shrieked. "Toothless, I'm slipping!"
Both reacted instantly. Hiccup encircled hers wings around her, in way of protecting herself, but before she would fall onto ground, she felt grip onto herself. Glancing onto its owner, she noticed pair of two mighty, black wings which held hers tight. Toothless grasped her against himself, thereafter both stared at each other. "Tangle yours tail around mine. I'm able to keep both of us." He looked just over said tail and she followed his sight as well as his orders, eventually both ended up hanging comfortably against each other now.
Hiccup exhaled relieved. "Thank you-" She licked his nose. "-but it still would be yours fault, you useless reptile."
"Alright, I admit it." He chuckled, afterwards moved closer towards her as both embrace each other tightly. "I guess it's sleep well, sunshine."
"Well, sleep well either, buddy" Within that Hiccup closed hers eyes, was about to fall into calm, peaceful and pleasant slobber, if it wasn't for curiously of seeing hers companion one more time, hoping seeing him as well in peace, but in difference of that his eyes were into slits, staring onto entrance. She moved against him and feeling so he glanced over her questioningly. "Why you're not going to sleep?" Hiccup tilted his head onto him as he embarrassed now. "Since beginning you were likely stressed, worried. Also I remember you said something about other type living here now." She whimpered. "Is it reason why you're such frightened?"
He looked over her, troubled, but even so inhaled. "Right, there is that type, which never was seen by human, because of which those aren't named. They're likely same and opposite of us." She tilted hers head onto him. "I mean, we're created and used towards night, right? Those are also night furies, same abilities, but were created for day time, having rather white scales, cover for clouds." He focused. "I would name them day furies... or maybe bright-?"
"Light furies?"
He nodded. "Sure." Thereafter straightened. "Main problem is, as you probably know, each type of dragons are having theirs habitat, theirs ecosystem and that space is perfect for both night and light furies." He snarled. "Shortly, these two types became each another's natural enemies. As a child I often seen those two fighting and..." He tightened his grip onto her. "I'm just startled of seeing them now, knowingly about theirs probably numerical superiority."
Seeing his sudden distress, she bumped hers head into his chin which was just over her. Gaining his attention, she purred. "I'm not afraid, and you know why?" She licked his chin. "Because I know you would protect us, as you always do."
He smiled, immediately melted into hers touch. "I love you Sunshine, and as you say, I will protect you. I swear."
She pushed hers muzzle against his chest. "I love you too, buddy." Both were already calming against each other now, relaxing alike, slowly falling into slobber, but before that Hiccup last time glanced over him. "Toothless, if Night furies and Light furies are alike, is it possible to become mates with one?"
"Without straight looking onto ours history, then probably that's possible."
"So... you could always just dump me behind for it... could you?" She looked over him rather seriously, worried.
By time he returned favours, when theirs eyes met, surprisingly Toothless in difference of rather good answer snickered, afterwards even laughed. Eventually Hiccup joined him as she felt uncountable amount of relief streaming through hers body. Toothless once again tightened his grip, this time placing his head over hers, covering both of them within his wing. "After all of that and just like that?" He snarled. "Never."
Theirs lap happened to be about few hours, or few minutes, Hiccup couldn't tell as it seemed in place like this sun wasn't reaching and time was rather invalid. It annoyed her, fact she couldn't confirm if she was rested or not, and in that moment she started noticing weaknesses of that place. Way there was no dragons actually, that strange feeling of no wind around as well as lack of any natural battery which sun was. Both Hiccup and Toothless decided there was no point of staying here. Carefully, both directed each other towards entrance, which happened to be waterfall, in way up there Hiccup wondered how could someone argue about space that much. Glancing over surroundings by which they passed, once again she astonished by its beauty. Right, that's why.
Eventually, as she still kept doing so she caught swiftly glow of white, causing her to stop her flight forward, floating into air now. Seeing it, Toothless stopped as well, glanced over her rather questioningly as he tilted his head. Hiccup was about to explain, but momentarily thereafter there was shot targeted straight into hers wing, reasoning her being sent into free fall. Toothless immediately roared after her, dived downward. In meantime, Hiccup her hardest tried to regain hers balance, but as she almost did, there was impact into hers side, and hers eyes widened knowing its reason.
White scaled, purple eyed, dragon was stabbing its claws into hers skin, in meantime tried to bite within its fangs into her. Hiccup panicked. Last time she combatted dragon was Red Death, and truth is it wasn't actually even a combat. She done what she could, pushed it away, moved hers wings, but unfortunately dragons wasn't giving up that easily. Fact was Hiccup since becoming dragon didn't understand theirs rules. She didn't understand when it was forgotten to attack each other and when it was more than acceptable. Also, Hiccup didn't want to use force against force. She was forgiving dragoness after all. Hers biggest hope was Toothless now and his knowledge and combat skills. It seemed he read hers thought, as thereafter mighty shot was sent straight into hers attacker, causing it to let go of her. Hiccup didn't waste time, flew away at top of hers speed.
Hers mind spin rapidly, making it impossible to think straight. She glanced backwards, noticing white dragon still was racing after her she distressed, but what caused hers horrify afterwards was something else. She couldn't catch glance of Toothless nearby. Hiccup knew why he wasn't here, he could never catch up with her if it was about velocity, he was strong dragon rather than fast one. For Night Fury, nonetheless. In comparison towards other of dragons he was fast as lighting, sadly that one wasn't other dragon. His speed was catching up with Hiccup's one. Knowingly about all of that, as well as because of panic which overwhelmed her, Hiccup decided to get towards him, simply changing theirs direction of flight by swiftly turn opposite. Unfortunately, dragon was prepared for that. Instantly as she was about to do so, she was shot, hardly. She lost balance and was sent against stone shelve, impacting into it painfully, laying onto top of it now.
Momentarily after, light fury made its way towards her as it landed gently onto ground, still roaring and growling onto her in meantime. It was first time she was able to analyse it and she have to say it was really resemble towards Toothless. Difference, obviously, were white scales and, as she took notice of, dragon before her was skinnier and smaller than Toothless. Eventually, it started moving forward, causing Hiccup flinch backwards. It seemed male before her finally annoyed, as he loaded rather powerful shot and strike it straight into her. As she took it, she collapsed onto ground. By next time she covered herself within wing, ineffectively as hers wing was in ache now. Making it even worse Hiccup was rather sure because of that movement there was no way of runaway by flight. She whimpered. Curled and sinked onto ground.
Thereafter, when male prepared yet another of blasts, she tightened hers eyes, waited for pain now, but before that into air was ranged out powerful and furious known her roar. Momentarily after, there was shot rather weak, as probably it was shortly prepared, blast, but it was enough to make light fury miss her. Instantly, Hiccup felt presence just over her and she didn't have to overthink it knowing who's it was. Toothless, within his eyes into slits, growl getting out of his chest and tightened teeth, covered Hiccup smaller form. His wings were unfold, these were touching ground around her, making for her tent alike. His chin was touching ground, in way of covering any of hers view before light fury, and cause of it, he was bent over her, reasoning hers back touching his belly. Despite fact Toothless still probably still was about to be in combat, Hiccup couldn't help, but to out of happiness and relief caress hers head weakly against his chest, purring in meanwhile, tangling hers tail over his. Truth was Toothless tried remain motionless onto that, but couldn't help, but to return favour, purring.
Eventually, male before them irritated, within his strength jumped over Toothless which roared loudly, pushing it immediately off its way onto his back. Light fury, which stood up after his fall, probably think through his next movements, as knowingly there was no point into trying close by combat, male started shooting into him. Toothless covered himself within his wing, but while doing so revealed terrified Hiccup. By time male loaded next shot, Toothless think through his position. Light fury knew it had advantage in distance fight with him, because of which he had to change his strategy. Knowingly that, as well as being aware that light fury's next shot might really result some tragedy, Toothless didn't have another option, but untangle his tail off Hiccup's, which instantly whispered as he did. Thereafter, swiftly and momentarily he licked hers head, before focusing onto his opponent. Not waiting for his next move, he left Hiccup, rushed towards now surprised light fury, throwing him against ground.
Horrified Hiccup could only observe whole combat now, but relaxed slightly seeing Toothless was winning. He might not have been fast, aerodynamic as other furies are, but he was strong, and bigger, giving him advantage into combats. Both males were aggressively slashing and stabbing one another, but with visibly lead towards bigger of them. Eventually madness alike Toothless bite light fury's neck painfully, causing him to panic as he pushed himself away, without any results. As he did, Toothless decided to actually let him go and when he did light fury used that as he flew away. Just in case, Toothless roared loudly, way to fright off light fury for sure. Instantly afterwards he rushed towards Hiccup, which even so being in pain bumped theirs noses together. He whimpered, making her rather sure about his sorrowful about way of situation. She whimpered as well, but calmed knowingly she was safe in his presence nearby. Momentarily when she loosened hers muscles, relaxed hers mind, causing all of that adrenaline to let go of hers body, whole world was fading away into darkness, afterwards, for Toothless panic, she fainted.
Hiccup woke up into darkness, within warmness which encircled hers form as well as licks made just behind hers ear over hers neck. She started blinking hers eyes, trying to use hers sight towards blackness, squirming in meanwhile, reasoning into licks being stopped. Thereafter, she felt rather comfortable shakes over hers body, immediately getting her to know those were purrs, and towards who they belonged to."You don't know how much delighted I am to see you awake, sunshine." There was feeling of stroke made against hers neck, and within it sound of whining. She tried raising hers head onto owner of movements, but thereafter she found herself too sore to even move. Despite hers tries, even so she was forced onto ground by muzzle which pushed her against ground. "Lay still. It's okay, it's alright. I'm here." Onto top of hers head made were soft purrs. "Now, I'm here."
Thereafter Hiccup once again tried move hers head, but this time keeping it against ground, hoping that would help. Noticing yet another tries of female, Toothless finally moved, way they were side by side, but also within his head just by hers, just so she was able to catch his glance. While she did so, she visibly calmed, purred onto him about which he whined, surprising her. She tilted hers head onto him, but in difference of proper reply from him, Toothless unfold his wing, covering Hiccup wholly. His tail was able to encircle hers whole form, just to end up by his muzzle, creating for her rather tent of his wing. Truth was if someone would look over them from outside only remaining here would be Toothless. Eventually, he pushed his muzzle underneath his wing, way both were once again staring at each other in his little hideout. Afterwards, there was ache by hers back, because of which she whined. Toothless seeing it, concerned, tightened his grip of wing as he started licking hers nose, hoping that would bring comfort towards female. By time, Hiccup flinched from him, glanced over him questioningly. "Where are we, buddy?"
"Caves-" He bumped his muzzle into hers cheek, as Hiccup guessed once again making sure if she was alright, because of which as an answer she caressed his cheek. Both purred and while action continued Toothless explained. "Deep, deep caves. I thought about those as good hideout as it seem light furies doesn't have ours night vision." She nodded onto him, calmed herself as she comfortably laid against his belly, stoking within hers muzzle side of his neck. Unknowingly by her, showing towards him such affection, caused guilt stream onto him rapidly. "It's my fault." He whimpered. "That light fury-" His ears lowered themselves against his skull.
Memories came over hers head, spinning it now, but despite it Hiccup worried, bumped theirs noses together, trying in such act to reassure him. "It wasn't yours fault."
"These wounds-" He glanced over hers neck, where rather big gash made its way. Ashamed, Hiccup instantly covered it within hers wing. "Yours state-" Theirs eyes met and Hiccup couldn't believe what amount of blame was hidden in his, rather causing her to whimper. "All of that, because I was too slow, too bad, not enough." He tightened his eyes, painfully. "I promised you I would protect you, and I failed." He whimpered.
Hiccup flinched uncomfortably by sight of his pain, tried reach him within hers muzzle, but he pushed her away, gently. "It's not yours fault-" She whimpered, shrank herself into ground. "-but mine." Still hurtful, Toothless glanced over her, shocked. "I should fight it back. I should done more than... let him just attack me like that, even let him kill me." She avoided his sight. "I'm so useless."
"If there is someone which is useless-" He bumped his muzzle into hers cheek, gaining hers attention. "-it is only me."
"Toothless, you actually saved me!" Hiccup snorted. "You actually fought it, combated, won. Only thing I done was sitting there like idiot!"
"But then, you're far, far more less experienced! You don't understand how things works between dragons." He roared. "You don't know how to fight, and as yours mentor I was supposed to learn you about it, before that protect you, which I failed."
"You learned me enough just so I could protect myself, even so I was one to fail." She roared. "What dragon I am if I can't even shot without startle?!"
"Why you have to be so stubborn, why can't you accept fact that are shown to you?!"
"Well, that makes both of us either here!" Momentarily both didn't notice, but they started growling, roaring at each other, just until few of moments. By time the recognised what just happened between them, both likely embarrassed, avoided each other's sights, sometimes trying to catch slight glance of partner when it didn't look. Thereafter when both tried so, synchronised, causing them to actually met each another's eyes, both flinched, but thereafter Hiccup exhaled. "Truth is we both are not able to forgive ourselves, but either way we forgave each another." Hiccup glanced over Toothless, thereafter he done same. "I guess what I mean is-" She ashamed whimpered towards Toothless, moving forwards towards him. "Toothless, I forgive myself, because you forgiven me. If you says I'm actually not one to be blamed, then I trust you within yours decision." She caress his cheek.
He flinched from it. "I don't know if I could forgive myself like that." He whimpered.
"Okay, then say me-" She raised hers chin. "If Hiccup would forgive somebody, would you trust her and forgive that somebody either?"
"Hiccup I-"
"Would you?"
His eyes focused onto her, before he exhaled, calmed as he finally returned hers caressing. "As far as I know Hiccup, she is cleaver, smart and honest. She wouldn't like that forgive someone which doesn't deserve it, because of which I guess I should-" His mind stopped him, streaming within blame he felt earlier. She noticed that, bumped hers nose against his, waking him up from these bad thoughts as she purred. "-I should forgive myself."
She smiled. "And very well." Thereafter she placed hers muzzle just besides him, getting him to know what to do and without doubt he done so, placed his chin against top of hers head. Eventually as atmosphere loosen, Hiccup yawned, but cause of Toothless over her she wasn't able to open hers mouth, causing it to be rather made between hers teeth. Noticing it, Toothless raised his head, just so to glance downward onto her. "Are you sleepy?" She didn't reply, moved hers head towards him closer, rather showing hers agreement towards question. "Alright." He once again placed his head over hers, this time also tightening his grip of his wing. "Sleep, sunshine. By time you will be awake, recovered in meantime, we're going to get out of that terrible place, I promise you that and this time I won't fail."
"I know."
"I swear, every seen by me light fury-" He raised his head, growled afterwards. "-I'm going to send into darkest parts of afterlife, killing it painfully in meantime."
Hearing it, Hiccup's eyes widened as she shallowed. "Maybe, knocking them down would be enough." She chuckled, anxiously.
Noticing hers sudden frighten, he sighed. "Okay, if you wish so." He placed his head back onto its right place. "Now, sleep sunshine."
"What about you?"
"I'm going to keep guard over night." Hearing it, Hiccup whimpered. "I will be thousands times better knowing you're safe."
She growled. "Alright." Thereafter idea clicked itself inside hers skull as she smirked. "Could you actually for second let me out?" Toothless raised his brow onto her, but done as commanded. Hiccup trap worked almost perfectly as she immediately forced his head onto ground as she threw hers chin onto top of his.
Toothless growled, thereafter forced his head upright, but Hiccup whined when he did. Obviously, Hiccup pretended, but Toothless couldn't be sure, because of which any movements would be risky, and he didn't wanted to endanger her in any way. "Hiccup, let me go! I know what you're trying and-" As Hiccup did earlier, Toothless yawned between his teeth. "-it might actually work."
Hiccup giggled. "Sleep well, buddy." He sighed, gave up as he positioned himself comfortably, moving closer towards hers chest, causing Hiccup's snout to even touch his neck. "Pleasant dreams." Thereafter she closed hers eyes, enjoying his warmness underneath her.
He purred over sensation of hers heat, as well as sounds of hers heartbeats against his ear. "I hate you."
"I love you too." Every aspect of that moment, warmness, enjoyment and peaceful sound of both of theirs breathing caused two to fell into calm and tranquil slumber.
