Andrea sat in her seat, leggings shaking-showing her anxiety. "Six, stop it!" Her best friend placed a strong hand onto her thigh. "I can't pay attention when you do that." Andy let out a soft 'sorry' placing both of her feet firmly in front of her in an attempt to evade herself from doing the nervous tick.

"Look I know you have the hots for Professor P, but you've got to pay attention finals are coming up!" Doug, her other best friend, teased the young brunette.

"I hate you," Andrea gritted through her teeth. She really did attempt to follow the professor's lecture, but the silver-haired woman's legs in that black pencil skirt caught the young woman's attention. She found herself drooling over the expanse of porcelain skin that was revealed.

"Andreá Sachs," Priestly caught the attention of her student. "What are you daydreaming about? The finals are in a couple of weeks. Straighten up and listen, ."

"Oooo," The boys jabbed Andrea in the back. "You are in trouble." They said in unison like a couple of preschoolers.

"Real mature," She shook her head. Quickly taking notes as the lecture continued, afraid of another beratement.

"No way she didn't see you checking her out," Serena, the foreign exchange student, poked at Andrea. "She has to know you undress her with your eyes every lecture."

"I can't help it." The brunette admitted, taking a bite of her apple. "She's drop dead gorgeous."

"You really should pay attention, Six," Nigel butted in. "Finals are a really big deal and if we pass, we don't have to retake the course. It's a no-brainer- Listen and stop oogling your fifty-year-old professor."

"Fine," Andy said, defeated.

"You just need to get laid, Sachs." Doug giggled. "How long has it been since Li-"

Andy held up her hand effectively cutting off the man, "Not today, Dougie, please." Nigel rolled his eyes, pulling Doug close to his side.

"Our little Andy is still sensitive about 'you know who'," Nigel whispered to his boyfriend.

"I can still hear you, asshole," The aspiring journalist stood from the table. "Bye guys, I've got to get to the next period." She grabbed the rest of her food and left her three fellow peers.

After her classes, Andy took the train back to her studio apartment. The one her mother tried talking her out of months prior. Determined not to live in the dorms like her other friends- She worked part-time at Veselka, their local diner, to afford the small place. Her next shift wasn't till friday, which meant she only had two days to catch up on her studying fully.
Just when she was about to pull out her textbook her phone chimed, it was a text from Doug.

'I'm sorry to bring her up– Nigel and I luv u big.'

Andy typed out and sent out a quick, 'it's fine, I'm sorry. Love you both' The brunette mentally chastised herself for the way she acted in front of her friends, they were only trying to help. She grabbed her textbook and made her way over to her couch, she studied for what felt like hours before going to bed for the night.

"Attention." uttered that one word and it interrupted the class from their normal morning chatter. "Before we get into our lecture for the day, I need to make an announcement." The silver-haired woman paced back and forth in front of the room. "I'm in need of extra help." She stopped her pacing and looked at the entire class. "I'm not offering this position to any of my other classes because I swear they all have fallen and bumped their little heads… You all are my competent group." She looked down to see one of her students had fallen asleep. "Well, almost all of you." The class burst into laughter. "Anyway," The teacher walked back to her desk and gracefully sat down. Andy watched in awe as she continued. "I need an assistant for the rest of the semester, possibly next as well; if you are selected and do an adequate job, I'll add points to your final paper."

Nigel poked Andy in the side, "Agh, this is your in Six!"

"Oh hush," Doug stopped his boyfriend from teasing their friend further. "Besides the word is she's the hardest teacher to work for,"

"Shh" a random student hushed the men.

Andy turned away from the pair and averted her attention back to their professor.
"If any of you are interested see me at 1:30 sharp here." The professor resumed her position at the front of the class and began teaching the lesson for the day. Andy sat there in a daze, she didn't know how, but she was going to be picked to be Priestly's assistant.
