When lunch came around, Andy was so nervous she couldn't even stomach a bite to eat.
"Damn you are anxious aren't you, Six?" Nigel gave his friend a look of concern.
She just simply nodded her head, pushing her plate away from her. "I'll eat after the interview," the brunette promised the group of friends.
"You gotta eat, babe," Doug offered his crackers to his friend. "Please something small." Andy just declined with a simple shake of her head.
"Oh," Serena sighed. "Ma Cherie."
Emily rolled her eyes, "Oh she's fine!"
"She right guys- I'm okay," The brunette stood, grabbing her plate. "I gotta go practice what I'm going to say."

Andy was twenty minutes early to the interview, when she arrived she saw that someone else was already in Priestly's glass office. The aspiring journalist's eyes widened at the scene before her; whatever the professor said was not good. The young woman was in tears and before Andy knew it she was bursting out of the office. followed suit, "Come, Andrea," She waved for her to follow her back into the room and Andy did as she was asked.
"Have a seat," The professor motioned for her to sit down and she did. As soon as she was seated the latter did the same. The room became eerily silent as the older woman eyed Andy up and down with her infamous icy glare. "You are early. Good sign." She offered a small compliment and Andrea beamed. "What is your work schedule like?"
"Um… I'm working part-time at-"
"Ugh uh uh… Details bore me," Her tone tore through Andrea, hurting her feelings a bit; Yet she was determined to be this woman's assistant if it killed her. "What days do you work?"
"Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays." Andrea answered quickly.
"Hm…" Her lips pursed and the swift shifting in her seat made the brunette nervous. "I'll need you to be here on your off days, Andrea, no exceptions. I'm one of the busiest professors on campus and I haven't got the time or energy to go looking for a new assistant."
Andrea took a deep breath and nodded. Everything she planned to say flew out the window at this moment, all she found herself saying was, "Professor Priestly if you pick me you won't be disappointed."
Andrea caught the faintest of smiles grace her teacher's lips. "That's all," She waved the student off and Andy thought she lost her chance. She stood from her chair in defeat and made her way out of the office; Right before she got to the door, she was stopped by a gentle but firm hand on her shoulder. The encounter sent shivers down the brunette's spine. "Tomorrow come during your lunch break, I've got lots of papers that need to be graded and filed."
"Yes ma'am," Andy nodded.

"Félicitations mon amour!" Serena grabbed Andy and pulled her in for a hug.
"Thank you," Andy hugged her friend back.
Doug stood there in shock, mouth wide open, "I know you have a crush on the ice queen but working for her is an entirely different thing… You know that right?"
Nigel nodded in agreement with his boyfriend. "Just be careful, Six… There's a reason she hasn't had an assistant in three years.."
"Rumors say the last assistant didn't file a document right and …." Nigel dragged a thumb across his throat.
Andy slapped the man's arm, "Oh shut up! She didn't kill anyone… Can't you all just be happy for me?"
"We are Andy-love but you've got a thing for evil incarnate; Quite frankly I'm concerned." Doug voiced.
"I literally just had my day dreams come true and the only one happy for me is Serena." Andy hung her head.
"Precisely," Emily blurted out. "You are bonkers and this isn't the first time I've said it."
"Be nice!" Serena got onto her redheaded girlfriend.
"I'm just saying she's a loon."
"That's it!" Andy left the group behind without saying another word.
