Tayuya limped her way into the church, where-upon seeing her state, the duo inside jumped to there feet and assisted her,
"What happened?' negi questioned. Concern on his tone.
"More importantly, who did this? If we've been discovered by the mizukage then we'll need to change tactics." Sasuke said, worried more for their plan than the young girl. Tayuya glared up at the dark haired boy, her mind thinking of a million ways to kill the uchiha. Suddenly remembering Mei's threat she quickly came up with an excuse.
"I-I was… uh- bandits! I ran into bandits and one of them got me in the leg!" tayuya thought up quickly. The pair in front of her, however, were not convinced.
"Where?" negi asked skeptically. Tayuya had the audacity to look sheepish.
"Uh, just up the road. Yeah, uh, by the old bridge." tayuya said wearily.
"That's not on the way from the rebel camp. And you dont look like you fought bandits, unless you're so weak as to struggle even with chakraless enemies?" Sasuke said mockingly. Tayuya, knowing her poorly crafted lie was discovered, opted instead for silence.
"If your not going to tell us what happened you should at least tell us if Terume has scheduled the parley.'' Negi demanded his patience for the girl running thin. Tayuya, seeing that they had abandoned their previous line of questioning, continued forward with the rebel leader's demands.
"Yes she's scheduled it!" tayuya chirped, all too happy to move on. Negi and sasuke looked at her questioningly. Tayuya simply sat there confused.
"When, uzumaki? Or did you neglect to get the time as well as forget how to read a map?" sasuke asked, clearly annoyed with the girl's antics. Tayuya, red in the face, quickly went to make a rebuttal before realizing she, in her fear and haste to get away from Mei, had forgotten to ask when. 'Stupid, stupid!' tayuya mentally berated herself.
"I… I did not think to ask." tayuya said quietly.
"You're so useless! Why are you even here!?" sasuke yelled at her.
"Well what have you contributed?! At Least i've done something. You've just been tagging along this whole time!" Tayuya yelled, annoyed by the boy's constant jabs.
"How about I show you what I've contributed?!" sasuke yelled, his chakra flaring.
"Enough both of you! This won't get us anywhere! Sasuke, go blow off steam, tayuya, return to the rebel base and find out when this is all going down."negi ordered.
3 days later
The meeting was to be held at dawn, in the courtyard of Gato Company, a fishing magnate that operated within the land of water and the land of fire, profiting from both fishing industries. With gato having no stake in the war, the company courtyard would make for an excellent place for both parties to meet. The courtyard itself was on the property of the CEO of the Gato corporation. The CEO was a greedy little man, the corporation being named after the man, and seemed to have no care for human life. However, he agreed to let both parties talk on his property, so long as it was kept civil and that, whatever happened by the end of the war, his company would have the continued support from the government by either party. The courtyard itself was a large open space with stone tiling and a few trees on the perimeter. To the north of the courtyard was Gato's home.
As sasuke and negi arrived in the courtyard they made last minute battle preparations, making sure their gear was ready. The rebel leader was late to show up.
"Where is she? She should have made it here before us." Sasuke questioned. They had elected to arrive late so that when they arrived both parties would be there. However, the two stood alone in the large courtyard. Both were clearly nervous; something was up.
"I fear something may have gone wrong. Perhaps, Mei has set a trap?" Negi speculated.
"You think this is a trap?" sasuke asked his senses going into overtime to detect any killing intent.
"If it is, it's too late now. Look." negi gestured to the other side of the courtyard where the mizukage, flanked by a single anbu, entered from the secondary entrance. Mei was still a no-show, and the duo began to fear that they may be alone in the coming fight. As yagura approached, the duo noticed that the information on yagura had been spot on. In walked a young boy of 13, with gray hair and pink eyes, with stitches running down the left side of his face from the eye to the base of his cheek. He wore a green scarf-like cloth on his neck and below was a black t-shirt. Just above the belt rested his kirigakure headband, displayed proudly. Beneath that he wore a green quilt with black pants underneath. To finish the outfit, he wore brown combat boots.
To his right walked a tall man with a white featureless anbu mask save for a single hole cut for his right eye, and black lines painted on the right side. He wore a black hood over his head, and a black cloak covered the rest of his person. Anbu pants and anbu sandals were all that was visible beneath the cloak.
"Hmm? Leaf shinobi? I was expecting Mei terume of the rebellion." The larger anbu said in a deep voice. Suddenly yagura spoke,
"Who are you two and why have you come to kiri?" yagura asked.
"To defeat you in combat and lay waste to kirigakure. We have already defeated Terume, and she now works for us." Sasuke answered with a sneer.
"Let me handle it, madara-sama." yagura quickly asked. The confusion from the pair of leaf shinobi was palpable, but none more so than in sasuke.
"Madara? Madara Uchiha? He is dead, you speak to an impersonator!" sasuke said becoming angry that someone would dare slander the name of one of the founding shinobi of konoha.
"It is none of your concern uchiha-san. You won't live long enough to be bothered by it anyway." yagura said emotionlessly. Suddenly yagura was behind the duo and backhanded sasuke into the wall of Gato's estate. Negi's eyes widened and before he could take a defensive stance he was hit in the gut harder than he ever had been before. Negi quickly launched a gentle fist at the boy, his byakugan bulging the veins of his eyes. However before the hit could make contact yagura grabbed the hand and threw negi, his body skipping like a stone over water on the ground. He eventually came to a stop, but before he could stand yagura jumped on top of him and punched him to the floor, cratering the ground. Negi was unconscious.
"As I thought. This will be quick." yagura spoke again, still devoid of emotion.
"Haaah, don't underestimate the uchiha!" sasuke yelled as he blitzed towards the mizukage, his sharingan spinning into life. Pushing off the ground he whipped around his foot extending towards the young boy, only to be caught as yagura broke into a defensive position. Suddenly yagura, holding sasuke's foot, threw him to the floor. Clambering to his feet, sasuke looked towards the young boy, but he was gone from where he had been standing. Suddenly a mist rolled over the area. Sasuke, knowledgeable in the silent killing technique, quickly launched a wide range jutsu.
"Fire style: phoenix fire jutsu!" sasuke yelled, a surge of flames blasting all around him. However, he could sense his attack had never made contact.
"Damnit, stop hiding like a coward and face me!" sasuke roared.
"Behind you." yagura whispered, sasuke flipping in the air, before twisting mid-air and launching a massive pillar of flame towards the voice. Once again he found nothing. Suddenly a torrent of water blasted towards sasuke, but as the black haired boy turned to dodge the water clipped his leg and sent him into the air.
"Aaah, That's Enough!" Sasuke yelled, "Mangekyou sharingan!" his eyes quickly morphed into the legendary jutsu of his clan. The spinning star pupil quickly locked on to his target. Suddenly a purple fog coated sasuke's eyes as well.
"Sage mode!" sasuke yelled, nature's energy flowing through him, countering the harmful effects of the mangekyou,
"It's over for you now, Knowone stands against konoha!" sasuke yelled again, his power surging through him. Locating his target, who was curiously standing still in a meditative position, sasuke ignored his stance, thinking him simply overconfident in his victory.
"Sage jutsu: Snake venom spit!" sasuke suddenly spit a lob of corrosive venom towards the meditating boy. However before the venom made contact a fiery green aura overtook the mizukage. The venom quickly evaporated by the sheer power the boy gave off. The boy stood, a cloak of green energy wrapped around him, creating horn-like protrusions from his head. He took a heavy breath in, and calmly let it out.
"This ends now." the boy said emotionlessly. He suddenly bursted towards sasuke. Sasuke however tracked the mizukage, and kept pace with his launch of attacks. Punches quickly shot towards sasuke, shockwaves coming from each block. Sasuke, having practiced the snake sage style taijutsu, agiley and speedily, dodged, parried and swerved each incoming blow expertly. Suddenly, the mizukage's power shot up once again, his blows becoming even harder, where sasuke did all he could to defend before, now he could barely keep up. Seeing an opening sasuke launched another attack towards the chakra covered boy. The hit missed, but the punishment was worse.
"Gasp, aa-aah!" sasuke coughed blood, the blood, like the venom, vaporizing before it could stain the mizukage's clothes. The boy's hand pushed further into sasuke's abdomen, his arm soaked in the uchiha's blood. Sasuke fell to the ground. Quickly taking in sage chakra to heal himself, the rain fell harder as the mangekyou fell from his eyes, the nature chakra doing what it could to stabilize him, keeping conscious, but just barely.
"Oh? Still alive, and even conscious?" Madara said, surprised the boy could stay up after such a blow. "And after all that gloating about konoha being the strongest!" Madara walked forward and kicked him in the chest as he lay on the ground.
"Where's all that fighting spirit now? Get up brat!" He kicked him again. "Konoha this, uchiha that! Fated to kneel was it?" Madara asked. Recognition passed over Sasuke's face.
"H-how… di-did y-y-you know th-that?" sasuke choked out through bloody coughs.
"Oh I saw your little ambush on the rebellion leader. You talked so tough, and yet here you are, eating the dirt! So much pride and yet so horribly weak. Haha its like you were asking to be humiliated.`` Madara gloated, continuing to kick the downed boy, "but when it came down to it, in a one-on-one battle where your opponent was ready for you, you could scarcely land a blow, hahaha pathetic!" Madara laughed.
"I suppose you were right about one thing, the strong thrive and the weak are fated to kneel to the strong! That's the way of the world. Too bad you never realized you were the weak.
Boom! Suddenly 2 figures cloaked in white landed on the ground, steam pouring from their white cloaks, the very rain turning to steam from their sheer display of speed.
"That's some philosophy you got there!" a large man with white skin, horns, hair, and eyes spoke, "I'm curious to see what'll happen if we test it?"
"And who might you be?" madara asked, his shoulders tense and his voice weary of these strange new arrivals.
"Oh we were just passing through. Wanted to see the strength of the locals." the masked one said.
"The strength of the locals, eh? Well sorry but we just finished our business with this one. The fights are over, I'm afraid." Madara spoke.
"Oh well that's really too bad. Though I am itching for a fight I suppose." the large one spoke, "right, lord Kakashi?" he said with a laugh.
"I suppose it'll be fun, lord Jiraiya." Kakashi said, popping his knuckles. Madara suddenly got into a defensive position.
"Yagura, prepare yourself!" madara yelled, instantly the 2 rocketed towards the pair, yagura unleashing the power of his demon once again. Jiraiya slammed his palm into yagura's face, breaking his skull onto the pavement.
"Hahaa, this will be the most fun I've had in centuries!" Jiraiya yelled happily, as he tossed the jinchuriki into the floor again. Quickly yagura kicked jiraiya in the face sending him careening into gato's estate.
"Oh this kid can fight!" jiraiya yelled, launching at the jinchuuriki again. His fist slamming into his gut followed by a kick that was blocked by the mizukage.
"MADARA! I can't keep up, I need some help!" yagura yelled as a knee drove into his face.
"I'm a little busy, kid!" Madara yelled as Kakashi expertly parried every single attack Madara launched at him.
"Stay still dammit!" madara yelled. He fainted a left hook and sent his right fist clear into the face of Kakashi who deftly ducked the punch, and punched Madara clear in the mask. The mask suddenly cracked open, madara's face being revealed. A sharingan spun into place on his right eye. "Kotoamatsukami!" Madara yelled, the jutsu locking Kakashi in place for a moment allowing Madara to land a decisive blow against Kakashi's face.
"I've had enough!" yagura yelled, covered in bruises and bleeding from the head. "BIJUU DAMA!" A massive energy sphere collected at yagura's hands.
Orichimaru observed the battle from the tree's patiently waiting for a chance to grab the boys and make an escape. Watching as the energy collected he took his opportunity before it was too late. As the highly dense cluster of power radiated from the mizukage, madara tried to teleport away.
"Where do you think you're going?" Kakashi asked, his hand ripping through the chest of madara. Madara gasped, looking down as the arm retracted from his chest, his own heart beating in the masked man's hand.
"I'm sorry, Rin." Madara whispered quietly. His sharingan fading from his eyes as the light from the bijuu dama covered the area.
Jiraiya watched the bomb form, excitiment on his features. The bomb made everything in the area glow a dark purple.
"This is what I've been waiting for! Show me your might! I recognize you as a strong opponent, so put everything you have into this blast!" Jiraiya yelled confidently. Orichmaru grabbed negi onto his back, sasuke in his arms as he ran as fast as his legs could carry him making for konoha.
The ground shook, the trees waved violently, the wind, a hurricane. The glow grew brighter and so too did jiraiya's smile. The boy in the midst of it all screaming as his power grew. "Goodbye, Kiri, goodbye Isobu, THIS IS IT!" the boy yelled as the light overtook the area. Kakashi teleported back as jiraiya faced the oncoming explosion, willing to stand against the mizukages power.
"FULL POWER BIJUU DAMA!" Yagura yelled, the blast taking with it everything for miles. Orichimaru ran, the blast catching up to him, a white latte overtaking everything in its path.
Rebel camp
Mei looked out as the white light approached the camp, knowing this was the end. "Goodbye chojuro, you were always like a little brother to me." Mei said quietly as the blast overtook the base camp. The 7 swordsman watched as the blast approached and quickly moved, running at top speed to escape. Raiga however quickly ran to get mei.
"Mei! Mei!" raiga yelled trying to save her. After locating Mei who was watching the explosion approach he quickly grabbed her.
"I'm not letting you die, Mei-sama!" Raiga yelled, raising her atop her shoulder and running.
"No! Chojuro! We need to get him! ``Mei yelled tears streaming from her eyes.
"I'm sorry, Mei-sama, there's no time!" Raiga yelled speeding through the camp, the explosion hot on his heels.
With the mizukage
Yagura fell to the ground, his body black from the burns, his heart stopped. Smoke, and ash, filled the air, the courtyard a crater from the blast. Jiraiya stood, covered in debris, blood falling from his head. Kiri was obliterated, but Jiraiya stood, wounded but alive.
"You were a worthy opponent. Kakashi, are you still with us? Haaha." Jiraiya said, devoid of real concern.
"Yes Jiraiya, I'm still here. Did you have to let him do that?" Kakashi asked with a bored tone.
"Of course, what fun would it be if i hadn't?" Jiraiya asked, his smile nearly splitting his face.
"Whatever, we still have some more strong chakras around. Let's head west from here, seems to be a village there.'' Kakashi said in a still bored tone.
With orochimaru.
Orichimaru carried the unconscious boys as fast as his legs could carry him, feeling the shakes from the blast. Sasuke barely conscious and with negi having critical injuries, orochimaru got as much distance as possible. He too headed west. To the village hidden in the leaves.
On the moon
"I think it's time to head down, don't you, shikamaru? The blond boy asked.
"Yes, lord Naruto. It's time for your ascension." Shikamaru proclaimed as he knelt before the blond boy now named naruto.
"Let the tree grant me strength! Let it grow with the blood of those who would oppose us!" Naruto yelled a sadistic light shone in his eye and a smile full of razor sharp teaching.
"Now, no need to be so hasty, my son. There are still loose ends to tie up." an imposing figure spoke, her hair as red as a blood moon and 2 pairs of brown horns extending from the sides of her head like butterfly wings. Her robes of finer silk than any other.
"They are of no concern. They will die like all before them!" Naruto said sinisterly.
An.) hard finding a stopping point for this one so i just stopped at the 3k words mark. Hope y'all liked it. Lot of people are dying. Sorry to all you guys who liked chojuro lol. And obito too oof. Sasuke and negi kinda got destroyed. In hindsight maybe a little too hard. But couldnt be fucked to change it now. Like I said, I'm kinda lazy. It's hard to find the right balance with these fight scenes. They barely took a hit to mei but could barely land one on yagura. I don't know, it feels too much like bias. Let me know what you all think. Personally I think I made yagura too strong but i'll leave that up to you guys. That's all for now, folks.
