"Happiny!"

"Eek, no, how'd you get up there!"

It was a beautiful day in Sinnoh; the sun was beaming, a gentle breeze swirling throughout Jubilife village as citizens moved throughout, conversing with one another, selling products. Kids ran amongst each other, their pokemon running behind as they all played. In one corner, a battle ensued, pokemon clashing against the other, fighting to win.

Yes, nothing was out of the ordinary in Jubilife village.

"Happiny, get down from there!"

Well, almost nothing.

At the daycare center, there stood a very stressed Arezu. When the war had finally ended, the village's hairstylist saw the many pokemon in need and decided to open up a daycare center to help support them all. However, pokemon hardly ever listened to her, and she spent most of her time in a fret, running about to gather them as their trainers came to pick them up from a long day of battling. And right now, the one pokemon making her life difficult was none other than Happiny, who sat happily perched on top of one of the village houses. And it was not just any Happiny, but the hybrid champion's Happiny. Arezu would do anything to impress her and possibly win her affection. But that won't be possible if she can't even prove herself in taking care of a Happiny.

"Happiny!"

"Happiny, please! Aurora will be here for you any minute! Wouldn't you rather be down here, waiting like a good little pokemon?"

"Happiny!"

Suddenly, Happiny jumped over to the next roof, twirling around and laughing.

"Happiny, Happiny!"

Arezu growled, stomping over as she viewed her surroundings. Just how did these trainers get their pokemon to listen? She remembered when she herself had tried to become a trainer, Aurora gifting her a Misdreavus she had caught on one of her adventures. But even though their personalities had clashed quite well, even Misdreavus tended to ignore her, running amok at any chance she could get. And here Arezu was thinking she could run a successful daycare center for the trainers.

Maybe she should have stuck to hairstyling…

Refusing to lose to a small pink pokemon, Arezu looked around and noticed a ladder leaning against the wall of the home. Smirking, she walked over and climbed softly, attempting to avoid startling the distracted Happiny. She slowly creeped up the steps as Happiny ran towards the far edge of the roof, jumping and waving at the passing citizens. She could hear them giggle and whisper, grumbling under her breath as she began to sneak her way to the pokemon. She was getting closer and closer, her arms beginning to spread as she prepared herself to catch the Happiny.

And it was as if Arceus himself wanted to watch her suffer, as Happiny turned around at that very moment, immediately trying to flee.

"Oh no you don't!"

Arezu lunged, successfully capturing Happiny into her hands, only to begin her descent down towards the ground. Both her and Happiny shrieked, shutting their eyes, preparing for impact. But when Arezu felt her body being cradled instead of sore, she opened her eyes, Lucario staring down at her with a look of concern.

"Are you alright, Arezu?"

Arezu shook her head frantically, embarrassment coming over as she realized that if Lucario was here, so was Aurora. Most pokemon didn't develop the ability to speak but some did, Lucario being one of them, speaking through telepathy. It always shook her a bit, knowing he could read her mind, but being friends with Aurora meant being friends with Lucario too.

"Ye-yes, Lucario, thank you."

He nodded, placing her down gently and folded his arms.

"I sensed you were in danger from a mile away so I dashed over here. Aurora is on her way."

Still embarrassed, and clutching onto the struggling Happiny tightly, Arezu nodded. Not only was Lucario able to speak, but he could sense aura's from miles away. It made sense why Aurora depended on Lucario; they had grown quite close to each other.

"HAPPINY!"

Arezu frowned, staring down at the pokemon in her hands, who glared up at her, still attempting to escape.

"HAPPINY!"

"Listen here, Happiny. Aurora is almost here and I'll be damned if you attempt to run off as she's waiting for you!"

"HAPPI-"

Suddenly, Happiny went silent, the anger melting away as Aurora came into view. Now, she began to squeal, pushing at Arezu's hands to go hug her trainer.

"Happiny! Happiny!"

Arezu watched as Aurora approached her, a blush on her face as Aurora began to giggle.

"There you are! Did Lucario make it in time?"

Arezu chuckled nervously, passing over the Happiny to Aurora as she scratched the back of her neck. Aurora lifted Happiny into her arms, the pokemon squealing with joy as it nuzzled it's face against her cheek.

"Yes, yes, Lucario saved me from making a complete ass of myself."

"Figures, he tends to do that a lot." Aurora teased, winking at Arezu.

Arezu blushed madly, chuckling awkwardly as she glanced away.

"An-anyways,will you be dropping any pokemon off here tomorrow?"

"Well, I think Happiny might miss you a little bit so…" Aurora said, laughing soon after from the horrified expression on Arezu's face.

"DO NOT leave me with her! I wanna travel with you!"

Aurora raised an eyebrow at Happiny, giving her a stern look. "You are far too young, Blissey would kill me!"

Arezu watched as Aurora communicated with Happiny. Ah yes, another privilege of being the hybrid.. While Arezu and the average civilian couldn't understand many pokemon, Aurora could communicate with any of them. What sounded like complete gibberish to Arezu were words of a conversation to Aurora.

"But she's BORING. She won't let me have any fun!"

"Oh really now? Is your idea of fun tiring poor Arezu out?"

"Maybe…"

Aurora laughed as Arezu sat there, embarrassed that she had not a single clue what Happiny was saying about her. She knew she was bad with pokemon but sheesh… was she that bad?

"Arezu?"

Arezu's eyes snapped to Aurora, their eyes interlocking immediately. She had somehow managed to drift off into her thoughts, unaware that Aurora was attempting to catch her attention.

"Yes?"

"Lucario and I are going to go berry picking before the sun goes down, would you like to join us?"

Arezu blinked, a blush making way to her face once more. Was Aurora taking her on a date? No, no.. it's just to pick berries.. but she invited her! She'd be a fool to say no.

"Yes, I'll need some for the pokemon tomorrow."

"Perfect!"

Aurora and Lucario walked on ahead, Arezu following. As Arezu walked behind them, she noticed that Happiny was sitting in Aurora's knapsack, and glaring at her. Arezu cocked her brow at Happiny, which got Happiny to narrow her eyes more and stick out her tongue, before hiding back in the bag.

Seriously, what is it going to take to get this pokemon to like me?

Suddenly, the earth began to shake, immediately causing people to scream and hide. Trinkets from stands came smashing onto the ground; mothers pulled their children close, clutching them to their side; trainers returned their pokemon to their poke balls, thinking it safer there than outside. The sky had opened up in the distance, a black portal emerging as winds from inside rushed throughout the land. When it reached the village, the wind was so powerful that one had to cling onto the houses, praying that they wouldn't fly away with it.

Aurora looked at the portal, a frown gracing her features. Another portal had opened up earlier this morning. Why was this happening again?

Her questions were answered when Palkia and Dialga emerged, taking their rightful spot at Sinnoh's temple. The citizens watched them in awe from a distance, their large bodies visible even from fifty miles away. Aurora never took her eyes off them, curious but concerned at how they stood, staring directly at Jubilife village. They could choose to stare at any other village or camp but she could sense they were focused on hers. Were they staring at her? Something was telling her that they did not have good news to bring…

"Aurora, come forth to Sinnoh Temple. Arceus requests your presence."

Ah, so they were staring at her.

"And for what reason am I being called upon?"

By now, the earth had settled down from the gods' entrances. The land no longer shook and a slight breeze flew past, but the earth was calm once more.

"You dare question me? If I demand you here, you shall appear!"

Arezu and the rest of the villagers stared at the beasts, fear shaking throughout all of them as they watched from a distance. These were the gods of Space & Time themselves. When they wanted their presence known, it was usually a bad omen.

"I thought it was Arceus making the requests…"

Aurora smirked as she saw the rage in Palkia's eyes. Palkia never really did enjoy her questioning their authority. She watched as Dialga stepped forward, sorrow covering his features as he turned to talk.

"Aurora, please. This is important."

Arezu reached out, attempting to grasp Aurora's shoulder until Lucario swatted her hand away. She lifted her eyes at him, confused.

"She is communicating with them, Arezu."

Arezu stepped back, feeling dumbfounded that she didn't realize.

Duh, of course! I'm over here thinking tAurora's upset when really they're just talking to each other. That damn telepathy…

"I'll be there, Dialga. Tell Palkia to ask more nicely next time."

With that, Aurora turned away, grinning silently as she felt Palkia's eyes on her. Oh, was Palkia going to have a fit when she got there!

"Did you get all that, Lucario?"

"Yes. We should go now."

"What's going on, Aurora?"

Aurora looked over at Arezu, the villagers crowding around them as they all listened in. She could see in their eyes that they were nervous, scared about the possibility of another disaster when they were all struggling to recover from the recent one. Aurora sighed, redirecting her attention to Arezu as she crossed her arms.

"They just want to speak to me. Nothing that should concern anyone else."

"I find that hard to believe, considering the sky opened up twice in one day."

Aurora turned to locate the voice of the one who had just spoken. Standing to her left was Commander Kamado & Captain Cyllene. They were dressed in their usual attire; Kamado adorning his armor, Cyllene in the Survey Corps uniform. Much had changed in Jubilife, but that had remained the same…

"I understand, Commander, but the gods just want me to go to the temple. If there was anything ominous happening, I would warn you."

Kamado stepped towards Aurora, his face sterning as he stared at her.

"Would you? This village is grateful for you but do not think your betrayal has been forgotten."

Aurora's jaw locked, anger rising slowly as she crafted her response. She felt Lucario's hand on her shoulder, his aura soothing her, reminding her to play nice. Aurora hardly ever did.

"I never betrayed you and I do not have time to keep reminding you, and everyone else here that. I was the one who saved the world from total destruction, Commander, you didn't. Or do I have to constantly remind you of your failures for you to accept that?"

A smirk lit up on Aurora's face as she watched Kamado's face turn a deep shade of crimson. Clearly, she had struck a nerve, like planned. The villagers began to whisper amongst themselves, some leaving when they heard of no danger, others staying to watch. Lucario's grip on her tightened. She could feel his energy coursing through her, his aura flowing over hers. And luckily for her, and the world, that always seemed to bring her back. Eventually.

"Aurora, do not engage in these petty arguments. We should head to the temple. Now."

"They started it…"

Lucario resisted the urge to roll his eyes, releasing his grip on Aurora as he folded his arms, glaring at Kamado.

Kamado, upon noticing him, transitioned from irritated to nervous. Pokemon hardly ever fought humans one-to-one but Lucario's loyalty to Aurora told Kamado that may not be the case with him. Behind gritting teeth, Kamado folded, accepting defeat as he looked towards Aurora.

"If there is impending doom approaching, let us know about it." And with that, Kamado turned his heel, walking away as Cyllene followed close behind him. Soon after, the rest of the villagers dispersed, leaving only Aurora, Lucario, & Arezu. Oh, and Happiny, but Aurora was pretty sure Happiny was knocked out cold in her knapsack. She was a baby after all.

"Will do." Aurora muttered, straightening herself as she faced Arezu. "Sorry, Arezu, Palkia seems to have ruined our plans. We can go berry-picking tomorrow if you'd like?"

Arezu nodded, her hands slightly shaking, her mind still processing from all that had just occurred. Aurora smiled at her before reaching for the pokeballs that hung around her waist. With one quick swoop, she flung it to the open land in front of them, releasing Noivern from inside.

"Noivern!"

"Hey there, Noi, you got some flying to do for me tonight. You down?"

"Of course, Aurora. You really need to take me out more."

Aurora chuckled, walking up to Noivern as the pokemon stretched their back, providing room for Aurora to get on. Lucario followed behind her, kneeling when Aurora got to Noivern. He knew he had to return. Aurora looked down at him, removing his designated pokeball from her hip as she spoke.

"It'll be a fast ride, Lucario, don't worry."

"I know. Just.. make it quick."

"I'm in there for far much longer than you are and I'm not as grouchy about it as you."

Lucario growled, shifting his eyes at the coy Noivern. Before he could say anything in response, Aurora had opened his pokeball, sending him inside. Ensuring his pokeball was securely strapped around her waist again, Aurora hoisted herself onto Noivern.

"Alright, Noivern, time to le-"

"Wait!"

Aurora turned her head, watching Arezu approach her side.

"Take me with you!"

"I, too, am coming along."

Aurora swirled her head, watching Cyllene approach Noivern swiftly. She walked with her hands behind her back, her eyes never leaving Aurora. Looking back and forth between them both, Aurora sighed, really not wanting to argue with anyone else tonight.

"I don't think that's a good idea. Palkia didn't mention anything about a plus one.. or two for that matter. And you know how the gods can be if you aggravate them."

"It is not up for discussion. I fought with Kamado on your behalf but he does not believe you are telling the truth. You know how… brash he can be. He wants me to accompany you, report on what the gods are doing."

"Frankly, Cyllene, if he wants to kick me out of the village again, so be it. Other villages would be thrilled to have the hybrid living there."

"And yet you choose to stay here. Interesting."

Aurora narrowed her eyes, her jaw becoming tense again as she bit her tongue. Everyone knew why she chose to stay in Jubilife. She had made a promise to Rei. She blinked, pushing back the tears that were daring to form.

She was going to keep that promise.

"Fine, hop on."

"A-and me?"

Aurora looked over at Arezu, her heart twinging slightly at the expression on the girl's face. Desperation clung on to her quite noticeably. Maybe it was the way she styled her hair.

"Cyllene, I could justify. I don't know how I'd be able to justify you to Palkia."

She watched as Arezu shifted her eyes to the ground, holding back the tears that were desperate to drop. Aurora bit her lip, looking away as she felt Cyllene prop herself up on Noivern.

"I'll take you somewhere tomorrow, Arezu."

"Promise?"

Aurora gulped, remembering the last time she promised to return to somebody. And even though Palkia didn't mention anything, she knew there was something big that was happening, otherwise the gods wouldn't call for her. But she couldn't leave Arezu by herself.

"Promise."

And with that, Noivern pushed off the ground, propelling them to the sky.

The travel to the temple was short, given Noiverns speed in the air. Using her manipulation of sound waves, she was able to propel them at record speed throughout the sky. The sun was beginning to set, night slowly creeping into view as they came across the temple. It stood on top of the tallest mountain, white cobblestone glimmering as the sun's rays graced them on its descent. Aurora could see Palkia and Dialga standing, waiting. They seemed tense to her, their bodies rigid still as they stared. Noivern landed in front of them gently, doing her best to not shake her passengers. Aurora and Cyllene quickly hopped off.

"I requested your presence. Why is she here?"

"Unfortunately, the Commander of the village still doesn't seem to trust me. So he sent a babysitter." Aurora patted Noivern on the head softly, pulling out a berry to feed her. The bat cooed softly, Aurora smiling as she took out her & Lucario's pokeball. With a snap of her wrist, she returned Noivern back in and released Lucario, who looked relieved to finally be back with Aurora.

"These humans… as if they could stand up to the hybrid."

"I mean, you're right, but let's play nice. Cyllene means no harm."

Cyllene, listening in on Aurora's words as she could not hear the god before her, nodded, standing tall as Palkia looked over at her. Even though she regarded herself as fearless, the feel of Palkia's eyes on her shook her a bit. This was the god of Space after all. He could choose whatever he wanted to do with her and she would not be able to defend.

Palkia stared at the human before redirecting himself back to Aurora. These humans truly were interesting.

"If you so wish. We have a task for you."

"Hmm, and what just might that be?"

Dialga stepped forward, leaning his head down to Aurora. She reached out, placing her hand on top of his head. Out of all the gods, Dialga was the one who she cared for the most. And he cared for her. Part of it was because he was the reason she was in this time and not her own. He felt like he had to watch over her, dote over her, since he ripped her away from her family in 5060. But if he hadn't, the world would have ceased to exist anyways, destroying all timelines and ruining her future regardless. Aurora was frustrated at first, naturally, but she eventually understood. And through that understanding, she was able to forgive Dialga and bonded with him.

Dialga spoke.

"Arceus met with another god, Aurora. In a different world."

"Different world?"

She felt Palkia narrow her eyes at her, hearing Cyllene shift closer to her as Aurora looked at Dialga.

"Do not speak out loud anymore. This is why I did not want any guests."

"What are they saying?"

Aurora shifted her eyes at Palkia, nodding silently.

"Cyllene is not a threat."

"If she wasn't, you would continue speaking, not using telepathy."

Cyllene watched the scene before her, pausing on each of them. She could tell that Aurora was tapping into her power from the way Aurora eyes glowed, her hazel eyes now swirling with an iridescent blue. They were hiding something, and it made Cyllene very uncomfortable. Maybe Kamado was right to send her. Cyllene spoke again.

"Aurora, what are they saying?"

"I'm just trying to respect your privacy, Palkia."

"You would respect it by disposing of her."

"Not happening."

"Aurora, what are th-"

"SILENCE."

Cyllene cowered back, not expecting for Palkia to roar. The god approached her, kneeling his head down to stare directly at her. Aurora stood in front of Cyllene, her arm covering across the woman as she glared at him. Palkia ignored Aurora, directing all of his position on the insubordinate human.

"You will speak when spoken too. Be glad I choose to spare your life."

Cyllene gulped, a shiver coursing through her as she felt his breath pass through her. Even as the leader of the Survey Corps, she was no match for Palkia. No one was, except perhaps Aurora. She felt Aurora's eyes on her, beckoning her to listen.

"Cyllene, just… stay out of this, okay?"

Cyllene nodded. She regretted listening to Kamado.

Aurora turned her attention back to Dialga, who had risen along with Palkia. They stared down at her, Palkia infuriated, Dialga concerned.

"As Dialga was saying, yes, different world. Their world is on the brink of self-destruction and their god is requesting our help."

"And please tell, what does that have to do with us? Since when are you required to help some god that doesn't exist on our plane?"

"When that god provided the energy to create our world with theirs."

Aurora raised an eyebrow, shifting her eyes between Dialga and Palkia. She felt Lucario step forward near her, his fur brushing her skin as he got into defensive mode. She glanced over at him, his crimson eyes staring at the gods. He had remained rather silent this whole time; although, he was always rather cranky when he left his pokeball.

"I'm sensing there's some sort of origin story you're going to have to explain to me because.. you lost me."

The jewels that were embedded into Palkia and Dialga began to glow softly, Aurora & Cyllene amazed. Lucario, however, was not.

"Get on with it."

Aurora turned her direction towards Lucario. He had said that rather…aggressively. He kept his eyes on the gods before him, seething silently. Aurora furrowed her eyebrows in concern. What has him so upset?

Palkia glared down at Lucario.

"These stones were gifted by the god. He calls himself Chaos. He entered the space realm to make a request: send him a hero who can help save his world."

Dialga stepped forward, staring directly at Aurora. She swore she could see tears in his eyes.

"Arceus rejected his proposal at first. But Chaos linked the worlds when Arceus used some of the stones power to create them. If his world falls, so does ours…"

"So you want her to go solve this mess? Is that what you're proposing?"

Lucario growled, stomping up to Dialga and Palkia, an aura sphere beginning to build in the palm of his hand.

"Lucario, stand down."

"You want to send her to another world, fight for another people? After barely surviving this war?"

"Lucario, stand down."

Palkia chuckled, amused by Lucario's bravery. Did the partner pokemon of the hybrid really think he could stand a chance against a god?

"Barely surviving? She's immortal."

Lucario growled, his fur beginning to glow, his aura consuming him.

"She almost lost herself! She pushed herself to the limit, past her limit, and we almost lost her! And you want to put her through that again?!"

Aurora reached out for Lucario, only to have him pull away from her. She frowned.

"Lucario, I won't ask again."

Meanwhile, Cyllene stood there, dumbfounded to the scene before her. She had not a clue what was being discussed but from the way Lucario was reacting, it wasn't good. Aurora was clearly concerned, trying to tame him from attacking.

"If Mew comes out, I'm sure you can bring her back. She came back the last time."

"Rei died the last time. We were lucky to get her back."

Aurora clenched her first, glaring heavily at Lucario. Why did he have to open sore wounds? Did he think they cared?

She looked over at Dialga, his head hung in shame. Okay, maybe Dialga cared…

She looked over at Palkia; he looked as indifferent as ever. Typical.

"Listen, I get you're upset because Rei's death has your little boyfriend not spe-"

BOOM!

Lucario's fist, filled with his aura sphere, met Palkia's face, causing the god to stumble backwards. That was the last straw. His aura burst around him, his eyes glowing a deadly shade of red. Palkia will feel his anger.

"Do not speak of him."

Aurora stood there in shock with Cyllene. Never in a million years would Aurora have thought Lucario would attack Palkia. But grief can make you do crazy things.

Before Palkia could respond, Aurora got between them. Dialga watched, uncertain how to react. He could not betray Palkia but he also could not tolerate Palkia's mouth sometimes. Palkia was always stirring up unnecessary tension, just to push his superiority.

Aurora stared up at Palkia, folding her arms across her chest. What did she have to lose?

"I'll do it."

"To hell you will!"

"Lucario." Aurora turned towards him, her eyes menacing. "I understand you want to protect me. But you know I'm the only one remotely capable to do this. I- We have to do this, otherwise, ending that war was for nothing."

She walked to him, taking her hand in his as he slowly began to calm down. The glow in his eyes faded along with the aura that had swallowed him.

"We can do this. Do you trust me?"

Lucario nodded, hanging his head down as he stared at the ground.

"Good." Aurora turned to Cyllene, whose eyes were the size of saucers.

"Aurora, inform me right now. What are you being requested to do? Why would the war have been for nothing? Ple-"

"Cyllene, it's best that you don't know. Truly. Report to Kamado with whatever you want.. I'll see you soon enough."

"B-But Aurora - !"

Aurora shifted her eyes towards Palkia, strengthening her grip on Lucario.

"Take us to the middle realm. Now."

A portal began to open near her, the black abyss encircling around them. Cyllene attempted to grab onto Aurora, trying to pull her back, but she stood frozen in place. Lucario had used his aura to hold Cyllene down, keep her out of harm's way. Palkia smirked, looking down at Aurora one last time.

"As you wish."

And with that, they were gone, leaving Cyllene stranded at the temple, all alone.

Aurora shut her eyes as they transcended through the portal, feeling dizzy from the power that surrounded them. She could feel Lucario's grip on her, reminding her he was there with her. He truly was her best friend, the only pokemon she knew she could rely on. And the only one who could bring her back when she lost control.

After what felt like centuries, the whirlwind stopped, everything seemingly slowing down around her as her feet touched the ground. Shakily, she opened her eyes, in awe at the sight. It was pitch black in the middle realm, with stars littering the skies to provide some form of light. Her eyes slowly adjusted as her senses became less overwhelmed. Still feeling Lucario's grip on her shoulder, she looked over, a frown gracing his face as he observed the surroundings. He was not pleased to be here. She placed her hand over his paw, causing him to look at her.

"We won't be here for long, Lucario."

He nodded, looking over at the gods who stood before them. She looked as well, folding her arms as Arceus stepped forwards.

"You've decided to accept, I presume?"

"Not like I had a choice. It was either do nothing and the world ends or do something and maybe the world doesn't end." Aurora sucked air through her teeth. "What makes that god think that I am capable of saving the world? Doing it once, fine, but the odds of succeeding twice are a bit..low."

She grinned, seeing the most powerful being resist the urge to roll his eyes. Meanwhile, Palkia continued to glare at her, clearly frustrated at her jokes. Clearly not everyone appreciated her somewhat dark sense of humor.

"You are the hybrid. A god herself amongst humans. Mew lives inside of you, her power flowing through her veins. Who else do we call?"

"I mean, Arceus, you yourself are actually the god of all beings. Pretty sure you'd be a bit more suited to save the world than I am."

"And like you know already, gods cannot get involved."

"Even if it's not their world? Ah damn… who makes up these rules anyways?"

"Silence."

The attention moved to Palkia, who stood there beside Dialga, quite annoyed at the banter being exchanged from Arceus and Aurora. The end of the world might occur and they were not taking it seriously enough. He narrowed his eyes at Arceus. Aurora had rubbed off on their god too much throughout the years.

"If you are finished, let's prepare her for the transfer."

"Yes, I was just getting to that." Arceus stepped forwards toward Aurora. "Aurora, take out your phone."

Aurora raised a brow, reaching into her pocket to pull out the phone Arceus had gifted to her when she had first been transferred in time because of Dialga. She glanced it over, giggling internally as she compared the design. He had designed the phone to bear his etchings, golden yellow wrapped around pearl white. Quite vainful.

"Throw it."

Aurora gave him a peculiar look. What did he just say?

"Wait, what? Why? Why should I thr-"

She felt the phone be ripped out of her hand, Lucario removing it and chucking it towards Arceus. Astonished, she looked over at him, only to be met with furious eyes. He, too, was not pleased by their banter. He really wanted to leave this realm.

Aurora watched the phone fly, only for it to stop a mere inches from Arceus face. Arceus and Palkia's eyes suddenly began to glow, the phone transforming itself as they exuded their power on it. She observed as it turned into a watch; and a rather unfashionable one, at that. She extended her wrist as the watch floated towards her, wrapping snugly upon contact of her skin. It still bore the same designs as prior.

"This watch will allow you to call on your pokemon even when you are in the other world. Palkia has instilled his travel of space time in it, allowing for you to portal in whoever you need for this mission."

Aurora twisted her wrist, examining the watch even more. The screen lit up, names of her pokemon appearing as she scrolled through. Not going to lie, this was pretty sick.

Smirking, Aurora began to mess around on her watch, gathering a curious glance from the pokemon around her. As she finished, she looked around, waiting.

"Aurora, what are you doing?"

She grinned at Lucario, holding a finger to her lips to silence him. She continued to wait. Just as she was about to retort that the watch clearly was broken, Hoopa appeared, sitting on top of Palkia's head.

"Hoopa!"

Palkia growled, swiping his hands to remove Hoopa off of him. Hoopa disappeared just as his hand was about to make contact, reappearing beside Aurora.

"Well, he's angry…"

Aurora laughed, high-fiving Hoopa as Palkia glared at them. Even Lucario had chuckled, whilst the other two gods remained neutral, not wanting to fight with Palkia later if they did decide to laugh.

Aurora turned to Hoopa, bending down to his level.

"Hoopa, we left Cyllene at Sinnoh Temple all by herself. Do you think you could teleport her back to Jubilife village?"

Hoopa grinned, folding his arms, a smug look on his face.

"Can I play a prank on her first?"

Aurora rolled her eyes in amusement. She patted Hoopa on the head, watching the little pokemon shake in joy.

"I wouldn't expect anything less from the trickster."

And with a flash, Hoopa was gone, disappearing back to Sinnoh.

Aurora turned to Arceus, a mischievous light in her eyes as she cracked her knuckles.

"Alright, god, let's get this show on the road."

"Over here!"

"Help!"

"We're up here!"

"SONIC!"

The azure blue hedgehog dashed from corner to corner of the surrounded building, smashing into zombots as he attempted to clear the way for the trapped civilians. He crouched into his spinball formation, breaking the column, it collapsing in front of the entrance to the building. Jumping on top, he looked at the scene before him. Zombots were scattered all over, some still recovering from his attack, others walking it off. He could hear the cries of the noninfected behind him, cringing inwardly as he tried to come up with a plan. How was he going to get them out of there alive?

A ship passed above him. He smiled, locking eyes with the leader of the Restoration.

Amy.

"What's the status?" He heard through his earpiece. He stretched his arms before reaching over to turn his mic on.

"Evacuate the civilians in this building. I'll ward off any zombots that come your way."

"Got it."

Sonic sighed. Hopefully Tails figures out a cure. Soon.

Cyllene sat there, crowded up underneath the statue dedicated to Aurora. It was nighttime, and she had no means of getting back to Jubilife now. The lands were too treacherous and long, wild night pokemon roaming throughout, searching for food. The trip was at least a 2 hour trek by foot. Besides, Aurora said she would be back soon.

Right?

Pulling her cloak over her body to warm herself more, she gazed up at the statue. Made out of white marble, Aurora was smiling, holding her fist up in victory with Lucario standing beside her. The craft and detail that had gone into making the piece took up all of Jubilife's village's time; but they had done it, in her honor. Without them, they would have succumbed to Giovanni's evil war that he had enacted on this world

She recalled how she had met Aurora, after Rei had found her stranded on the beach. She had fallen from the time portal that had opened up in the sky, babbling about how she was from 5060. No one had believed her at first until another man had shown, claiming the same. Even now, some villagers were unsure and wary about Aurora, wondering why she just didn't return to her time since all was well now. Kamado certainly was suspicious about her.

Cyllene sighed. Hopefully everything would be clear in time.

"Hoopa!"

Cyllene jumped, knocking her head on the marble. Cursing, she turned, coming face to face with the trickster pokemon. She was familiar with this one, remembering the numerous pranks it pulled throughout the village when he had first appeared. But hadn't Aurora caught him? Cyllene looked around.

Where was she?

"Hoopa!"

She glanced back at the pokemon in curiosity. It had already scared her, what more did it want?

"Where is Aurora?"

Hoopa folded his arms, shaking his head. Cyllene gave him a suspicious look.

"If you're not going to tell me where she is, be gone. I don't have time for your pranks."

She watched as the Hoopa floated towards her, twirling around.

"Listen, I really-"

She felt a strong breeze pulling her from behind, making her lose her footing as she turned to see what was happening. A portal had appeared and she could see Jubilife village through it. She looked back at Hoopa, who held a sharp grin on his face.

"Wa-wait now, I have to wait for Auro-"

Hoopa charged at her, pushing her through the portal before she could finish her words. As the portal blinked away, Hoopa dusted off his hands, satisfied. And with one last twirl, he too disappeared, returning back to Aurora.
