Tonight is the night of a play! The play is known as "Would We Ever Stay Together?", the Surface's first ever created of the mini, monster-medieval, Shakespearean like play, hosted near the huge broadway theater in Mettaton's own studio he had owned, known as MTT Broadway. The play starred Mettaton, his wife Kuyar, and his cousin ShadowSilver, who is also to be Kuyar's cousin-in-law. They all had the part they wanted. The play, spoiler alert, starts out in the 15th century of the Underground (fictionally), a handsome, robotic young man Jack, played by Mettaton, who was a traveler had came across the forest, found a mansion of a noble family as the Marshmans, a lord and a duchess and their daughter, wanting to see his love of his life, Maria, also a robot, played by Kuyar, who is the Marshmans' daughter, who is put on pressure and pushed around by her unforgiving and strict parents. Jack wanted to see her again and wanted to feel her love again after he and Maria got caught by her ruthless parents, who took her away, forbidding her to see Jack again as she is told that she will be married off to a rich man. Maria then finally gets a chance to see Jack again after seeing him from her house window. Maria goes outside in her disguise as a traveler and embracing the love of her life and they kissed, vowing to never leave again. They both decided to get their blessing by praying to the Goddess of Love to receive the blessing of their developing relationship. Then, the Goddess, who is an owl goddess, played by ShadowSilver, appears to give a sweet, angelic and poetic speech of the value of true love. As the Goddess gave Jack and Maria her blessing, she vanishes into heaven, leaving two lovers alone embracing, vowing themselves to find a place to live their own lives, and that's pretty much how the story ends.

About an hour, the new MTT Broadway theater was prepared for the show. The audience had a lot of time to get their tickets and take their seats while the theater workers were setting up the stage of trees, the parts of the outside of the Marshman house, and the night sky background. The whole audience was becoming bigger, and the line for the tickets were awfully long, crowded and ready to see the performance. Mettaton and Kuyar got their costumes on that Papyrus and his brother Sans had made as the costume designers and ready. Mettaton's costume for Jack is the pink (as always because of his colors) tunic with a hat and a feather, long black pants and pink leather boots. Kuyar wore for the Maria costume is the dark pink long-sleeved shirt with a hood, long black pants and no shoes. She also wore silver makeup all over her body. Napstablook was inside the music room under the stage, working on his sound operating system that's attached to the speakers around the stage to play the music during that has been recorded for the show. The ghost came to the theater earlier that morning before the others did to work on it early so he doesn't have to rush to test it and getting the music to work clear and not so loud to hurt the audience's ears.
Mettaton peered through the curtains, watching the people taking their seats. A lot of them are coming in so quickly. Mettaton putted a smile on his face, readying to perform the show with his wife and cousin!
"Ready to get this show going, my dear?" the robot questioned his wife with a dashing smile, which made her giggle.
"Of course, Metta!" Kuyar replied with a trilling joy.
Mettaton laughed and patted Kuyar's head, ruffles her hair and walks up to the mic that was connected wirelessly to the speakers of the theater and turned it on.
"Beauties and gentlebeauties!" Mettaton started to announce. His voice echoing from the speaker, attracting the half of the audiences attention. "The play will begin in just an hour. It'll be just enough to buy people time to have their tickets bought and their seats being taken! Thank you for your patience and we will have a fun night, darlings!" the robot continued.
As the audience are getting ready to watch the play, Mettaton turns to Kuyar, who is curious of something missing. No, actually someone.
"Hmm. Where's ShadowSilver? Is she supposed to get ready?" She asked.
Mettaton started to grow curious as well. "Huh. I don't know." He replied, then asked "Hasn't she gotten her costume and her makeup on?"
"uh, mettaton?" A voice started to say to him. It was Sans, who was sitting next to Papyrus. "shadowsilver's costume is over there. she is not back yet." he says, pointing at ShadowSilver's costume that is worn by the torso and head display stand. It was a beautiful, white, goddess-like dress with wings on the back and the headpiece on the head of the display stand holding the golden wreath as a halo above. There is also an owl mask on the display's face as well for ShadowSilver's face. The white slippers were worn of the feet as well. It was all so beautiful for ShadowSilver to wear as her Goddess costume for the play, even though she hasn't shown up just yet for the show to begin.
"Oh!" Mettaton said with curious surprise. "Huh… where is she?"
"i think she went out somewhere to get dinner." Sans replied cluelessly. "i think she hadn't gotten anything yet after you guys did."
"Oh," Kuyar added. Everyone looked at her. "I thought she was doing something else or so."
"she must be hungry or so." Sans added. "her mother toriel might've worried her daughter didn't eat yet. so she might've taken her somewhere to a restaurant or so to eat before heading here to get ready for the show." Papyrus nodded at his words to the couple.
Mettaton and Kuyar looked at each other, increasing their worries. "ShadowSilver is going to be late, then!" Kuyar claimed to Sans worryingly. "The show will have to push to run for more minutes by the time ShadowSilver shows up unprepared on time!"
Everyone then heard the door opening.
"WELL WHAT DO YOU KNOW!?" Papyrus exclaimed excitedly. "SHADOWSILVER IS BACK!"
Mettaton and Kuyar looked over to see who is coming in the backstage. It was ShadowSilver! And she wasn't even that late! (Well, she came an hour before the show.) She was holding a bag of food from Burger King and her soda (a Dr. Pepper basically)
"Hey guys! Sorry if I'm late." ShadowSilver said to her cousin, her cousin-in-law and the skeleton brothers, who had their smile on their face at her arrival.
"Oh no, you, my dearest cousin, are right on time!" Mettaton said with a smile.
"Oh, okay. I just want to make sure." ShadowSilver replied, sighing with relief.
"Why didn't you eat before you came here?" Kuyar asked her cousin.
"Because I didn't get a chance to yet." The robot answered to explain. "My mom had to run to Target for a few things and she was running out of coffee and coffee creamer. And then I got hungry, and she decided that she would stop somewhere to get us something. We stopped at Burger King for a whopper and chicken nuggets. That's basically what we got. Then she dropped me off here while she is getting tickets for her and my dad to watch us perform. There is a LOOOOOOOONG line."
Everyone nodded at her words.
"WELL," Papyrus begin to say. "YOU AND TORIEL ARE QUITE BUSY."
"Well, I wasn't that busy with mom." ShadowSilver added. "I was practicing my lines and movements before we haven't gotten out of the house."
"Well, make sure you get ready after you eat, darling." Mettaton instructed her.
ShadowSilver nodded, but before she could get ready to eat, she gazed at her owl goddess-like costume, delighted and adored how to turned out.
"Aww, that's an adorable costume!" ShadowSilver said as she turned to the skeleton brothers, impressed with their work. "You guys did a good job on this!"
"OH HO HO HO!" Papyrus laughed in a reply to ShadowSilver's words. "IT'S THE LEAST WE CAN DO! WE'VE BEEN WORKING ON THIS ALONG WITH METTATON AND KUYAR'S COSTUME FOR WEEKS UNTIL IT'S FINISHED NOW!"
"Yeah, isn't pretty?" Kuyar asked. "We had to make it just perfect for your character you are play as."
"It is beautiful!" ShadowSilver answered. "Love the colors and everything…"
"Yes! And for the love of God, do not, under ANY circumstances, to let this get ruined!" Mettaton pleaded firmly to his cousin.
"Oh God, no!" ShadowSilver says in agreement. "We do not want this costume to get ruined!'
"But make sure you get ready and put on a little bit of makeup since you are wearing an owl mask for the owl-goddess character. Just to make sure you get prepared after you eat before an hour when the play starts." Kuyar recommended.
"I will." ShadowSilver said, then looks around, puzzling. "Where's Napstablook?"
"Down at the music room, getting everything ready for the music background for our show. He is working on getting the sound system with the music recorded for the play." Mettaton answered.
"Ha ha, alright!" The female robot giggled as she says this. "I'm glad he is working on that. I was wondering if I can offer him some of my fries. I ate most of it, and did not want to get too stuffed when I'm gonna eat my whopper and chicken nuggets. Blooky might be hungry. Did he eat?"
"I….. don't think Blooky did." Mettaton replied unknowingly. "He came here earlier in the morning before we did to work on the sound system for the music. We happen to eat before coming here and get ready to dress up and ready to perform."
"Ahh." ShadowSilver said. "Makes sense."
"So you can give him some fries is you want to real quick." Mettaton added.
ShadowSilver nodded and said "Thank you!"
ShadowSilver then heads down to the music room. She arrived, and looked around for her cousin Napstablook until she saw him working with the sound system. The ghost gave a light gasp as he sees his robot cousin standing at the entrance with her food and drink. He smiles, and so did ShadowSilver, who giggled, happy to see him work with the music.
"Hey, Napsty." ShadowSilver said, knowing Napstablook liked and doesn't mind the nickname 'Napsty'.
"oh….. h-hey….. shadowsilver…" The ghost replied softly. "you sure came here late….."
"Oh no!" ShadowSilver said. "I came here just in time, about an hour. Just needed to get ready as soon as possible to put on my costume after my dinner."
Napstablook frowned. "oh…… really? that's good." He said, before returning his soft smile forming his face. "i see you got burger king….. haven't eaten yet, didn't you?..."
"No, I haven't." ShadowSilver replied. "You might be, though, because I was wondering if you want some of my fries. You must be hungry. I didn't want to eat too much of it when I have a whopper and chicken nuggets and-"
"i would love some, thank you….." the ghost answered to ShadowSilver's offer. "i didn't eat either…. it's nice of you though."
ShadowSilver giggles and holds her Dr. Pepper on the hand where's she's holding a bag of food that is open. She pulls out a box of fries and hands it over to Napstablook as he took it from her hands.
"thank you, shadowsilver……" The ghost said with a smile as he began eating ShadowSilver's left-over fries.
"Anytime, cousin!" ShadowSilver replied as she heads back to the backstage with the others.
"He must be happy now that he has food." The female robot said to the couple and the skeleton brothers.
"It was nice that you did that for him, ShadowSilver." Kuyar said to her cousin, giving her a friendly smile. ShadowSilver nodded at her words.
"I wanna see real quick if my mom and dad are at their seats yet." The female robot said, and she took a real quick peek, looking for her adoptive goat parents. The robot gasps as she finally saw them! Toriel and Asgore were sitting next to each other, waiting for the show to start. Two of her other friends were there, too! There was Alphys and Undyne next to each other. Both Toriel and Alphys clothed all dressy, wearing dress, jewelry and makeup. Undyne on the other hand wore a blue jacket and jeans, while Asgore had a purple tuxedo. All four looked at ShadowSilver, waving at her. The robot giggled, and Toriel blew her a kiss while Asgore, Alphys and Undyne all gave her a thumbs up, wishing her a best of luck during the show. ShadowSilver nodded at them before pulling herself back at the backstage, looking at Mettaton and Kuyar, and also the skeleton brothers with a cheery grin.
"Looks like Undyne and Alphys are there as well!" The female robot said with a giggle. "Now, I have to eat then get ready."
"Alright, we'll hang out with you for a bit and chat." Kuyar said. ShadowSilver nodded.
Both Kuyar and Mettaton chuckled, and now the male robot turned to the skeletons for instructions while they will be gone.
"Boys!" Mettaton said, and the skeletons looked at him.
"yes, mettaton?" Sans asked.
"I entrust you two," the robot began "to look after ShadowSilver's costume while we chat with her while she eats dinner. I don't want anything to happen to that beautiful dress. It is made for ShadowSilver to look like a real owl goddess while she performs! If anything happens to it, there WILL be consequences!"
Sans and Papyrus gulped at Mettaton's warning.
"Is that understood?" The robot questioned, and Papyrus standed up with pride with his fist on his chest, understanding what he and his brother is told.
"YOU CAN COUNT ON ME! THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AND MY BROTHER SANS WILL ENSURE NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO SHADOWSILVER'S COSTUME!" The tall skeleton yelled out.
"Good!" Mettaton replied, patting Papyrus' shoulder and Sans' shoulder as well.
The robot walked towards his wife and cousin and they begin to leave for a bit.
"I'll be back as soon as I can!" ShadowSilver said to the skeleton brothers before exiting the backstage.
"ALRIGHT, SHADOWSILVER!" Papyrus called out, giving her a thumbs up. He sits back down as Sans pulled out his phone and checking his TikTok, which annoyed his brother, probably thinking he won't even do what he and his brother were told to do, even though he can watch over ShadowSilver's costume at the same time while doing other things.
"SANS!!!" Papyrus yelled, and Sans looked up at him.
"what bro?" the short skeleton questioned. "i'm just doin' something on my phone. i can watch the costume at the same time, too. you can watch over the dress as well, too. we can just stay here and not go anywhere. see? we'll just stay here until shadowsilver and the others get back. she will be in that costume not wrecked in no time!"
Papyrus gave a calm sigh to his brother. "YOU'RE RIGHT, BROTHER." he sat down next to Sans, looking at his TikTok. It was one video of him, eating spaghetti with ketchup, which Papyrus found it really disgusting to him.
"SANS!" he said disgustedly. "WHY ON THE HELL ON EARTH WOULD YOU VIDEOTAPE YOURSELF EATING SPAGHETTI WITH KETCHUP! NOW, THAT IS DISGUSTING!"
"oh, come on, bro." Sans said. "you know i like spaghetti with ketchup. some other says "you can't knock them down till you try them!"."
"NOW, I FIND IT REALLY DISGUSTING!" Papyrus offensively said. "NO ONE IN THIS WORLD WOULD EVER TRY THAT SPAGHETTI WITH KETCHUP! NO ONE EVER HAD IT BEFORE, AND THERE WASN'T EVEN A THING ABOUT SPAGHETTI WITH KETCHUP!"
"the video got like millions of views and comments. people would, though." Sans said, showing his brother the number of millions of likes in his video and pulled up the comments saying:
"Spaghetti with ketchup sounded really good! :)"
"The ketchup is the new spaghetti sauce ;)"
"Never imagined there would be a spaghetti with ketchup lol"
"Love the new sauce on spaghetti! The new sauce… is ketchup, as we know ketchup is invented long time ago XD"
Papyrus read all the positive comments, piffting disgustingly in disagreement, until he spotted some comments he would agree with.
"BUT LOOK HERE, BROTHER!" Papyrus said smugly.
Sans looked at the negative comments, all confused what he would say about it.
It says:
"Ewww! Ketchup in spaghetti! Disgusting! X_X"
"What the even hell is spaghetti with ketchup!?! They don't go together at all!"
"Spaghetti does NOT go together with ketchup, bro :("
Sans sighed carelessly. "ahh, it's alright bro." he says, closing his phone off and placing his hands on his jacket pockets "some people don't like what's new on their foods. it's people's opinions and option to put whatever they want to put on their food."
Papyrus scoffs angrily. "SANS, YOU ARE JUST SAYING THAT TO MAKE YOURSELF BETTER AND NOT EVEN DISAPPOINTED!"
Sans chuckled "bro, you are so full of yourself."
Papyrus sighs, giving in, crossing his arms to his chest and says "YOU KNOW WHAT, I AM NOT GONNA ARGUE WITH THAT. LET'S JUST STAY HERE UNTIL SHADOWSILVER AND THE OTHERS GET BACK WHILE HER COSTUME IS STILL LOOKING FINE."
Sans sighs in a deep voice "yeah, bro."
Papyrus then started to cheer up a bit and said to his brother "WELL, IT'S A GOOD THING I GOT A SPAGHETTI LEFT FROM LAST NIGHT!" he pulls out a box of left over spaghetti he cooked and putted in a left over box from Applebee's. "I PUTTED IT IN A APPLEBEE'S BOX FROM WHERE WE HAD DINNER LAST WEEK (WITH NO KETCHUP)!"
Sans looked confused at his brother at what he is talking about. "you put… a left over spaghetti… in a Applebee's box… where we had left over food… from last week?" he asked.
"WELL, OF COURSE I DID! DUH!" Papyrus replied abruptly. "I THREW AWAY A WEEK OLD FOOD AND PUTTED MY SPAGHETTI IN HERE TO TAKE WITH ME IF I'M HUNGRY!"
Sans looked even more confused at his words. "How did you keep the box?"
"...IN THE CABINET FULL OF DISHES." Papyrus answered slowly and apprehensively.
"Wouldn't the spaghetti go bad?" Sans asked.
"IT'LL BE FINE, BROTHER!" Papyrus says and took a bite of his spaghetti.
Sans decided to forget about what will happen to his spaghetti and said with a sigh "...okay. suit yourself, bro."
Papyrus continued to eat his spaghetti, and Sans started to fall asleep, Until then within 10 seconds, they hear the entrance of the backstage's door banging hardly. Papyrus then cried out a gasp, quivering and breathing heavily, causing Sans to shot up his awakening from his short nap. Papyrus was scared of what's going on that he curled himself into a ball, holding his spaghetti and cradled himself in fear, trying not to make a mess.
"B-B-B-BROTHER!" He sobbed hysterically and quivering "WHAT IS H-H-HAPPENING!?! IS THERE A ROBBER?!?"
"a robber?" Sans asked "what are you talking abou-"
Then the Annoying Dog came busting in the backstage, interrupting Sans' question and barking. Papyrus gasped and stood up, holding his spaghetti and all boiled with annoyance and anger.
"IT'S THAT ANNOYING DOG!" Papyrus called out, pointing at the dog. Sans tilted his head to the animal and asked "oh, that dog?"
The Annoying Dog started to sprint and running around the backstage, possibly causing trouble. Papyrus starts to worry about ShadowSilver's costume and wasn't gonna have an animal causing a mess.
"YOU MUTT!" He called out to the dog. "I WILL NOT LET YOU CAUSE ANY TROUBLE IN THIS BACKSTAGE!!! YAAAAA!!!!"
Papyrus started to chase after the running Annoying Dog, being careful with the spaghetti, but the dog was so fast, it's like it's running like Sonic the Hedgehog.
"be careful bro!" Sans encouraged in a cool and deep tone. "that dog might be fast, and you don't want to spill your spaghetti!"
Papyrus kept running, understood what he was told. "YOU THINK, BROTHER!?!" He asked in a shout while trying to catch the Annoying Dog. The chase kept going on for quite seconds.
The dog then stops at it's tracks, growling at Papyrus. The skeleton gasps and skids, trying to stop. But then, he tripped over the animal, and the spaghetti starts to fly out of the box.
"NYYOOOOO HOOO HOOOO!!!!" Papyrus called out in slow motion as the spaghetti continued flying out of the box, and in slow motion…
SPLAAAAAAAAT!!!!
The spaghetti landed on ShadowSilver's costume along with the headpiece, shoes, headpiece and halo.
Papyrus and Sans gasped horrifyingly at what he accidentally did (which technically was the Annoying Dog's fault after it stopped running, causing Papyrus to trip over it).
"NYYYOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Papyrus cried out with his hands on his head, couldn't believe what happened to the costume. He then turns to the panting Annoying Dog, growling at the animal for what it made him do. "YOU LITTLE TWERP!!!" He screamed at the dog "NOW LOOK WHAT YOU DID, YOU LITTLE-"
The Annoying Dog interrupted him by barking, looked at ShadowSilver's now ruined costume, then ran over and knocked over the display and licked the spaghetti off of it and ripping it, ruining it even more.
Papyrus gasps angerly and attempts to stop the dog from ruining ShadowSilver's costume even more. "HEY! "He demanded, pulling the animal away from the costume, though it wouldn't budge "YOU GET AWAY FROM SHADOWSILVER'S COSTUME RIGHT NOW!!!"
Papyrus continued to pull the Annoying Dog away from ShadowSilver's costume with all his might, but the animal still wouldn't budge. Until then, the dog finally lets go of the costume, growling and shaking it's head, ripping the piece of ShadowSilver's costume like it's a chew toy. Papyrus held the dog, but is unable to calm the dog down.
"SANS!" He called to his brother "OPEN THE EXIT DOOR SO I CAN GET THIS DOG OUT OF HERE!!!"
Sans quickly ran to the exit door of the backtage, and Papyrus walked over and threw the dog outside, causing it to land carefully on it's feet.
"AND STAY OUT!!!" Papyrus yelled out and slammed the door. The Annoying Dog whined, then threw the piece of the dress, barked and ran off.
Papyrus then cooled down his anger, then looks at ShadowSilver's costume. It's completely ruined now. The skeleton gasps in horror, absolutely couldn't believe what actually just happened to the costume.
"oh, wow." Sans said a bit worried, while Papyrus breathes in horror, his chest heaving. "that dog must've been doing a good job ripping off the costume after you spilled spaghetti on it."
Papyrus' fear turned to anger towards Sans. "GOOD JOB!?!" He screamed at him, and Sans wasn't even flinching "GOOD JOB!?! DOES IT LOOK LIKE A 'GOOD JOB'!?! HELL NO! IT'S A DISASTER!!! AND IT WAS THAT ANNOYING DOG'S FAULT FOR MAKING ME SPILL MY SPAGHETTI ON THE COSTUME!!!"
Papyrus calmed his anger, but it didn't calm his fear of what Mettaton will do after what happened to ShadowSilver's costume, and that's consequences. Papyrus started whimpering, his teeth quivering. He walked over to ShadowSilver's ruined costume, fell on his knees and looking up at the ceiling with his eyes closed.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!" Papyrus cried out, and then started to cry, wailing like a baby. He held ShadowSilver's costume that's been on the display, cradling it like if someone he loved was killed.
"METTATON IS SO GOING TO KILL ME!!!!" The skeleton said in between his cries and sobs "WE PROMISED TO NOT LET ANYTHING HAPPEN TO HIS COUSIN'S COSTUME, AND THAT STUPID MUTT HAD RUINED IT!!! AND NOW, HE IS GOING TO GET ME NOW!!!!"
Papyrus continued crying and cradling the costume non-stop. "uhh, papyrus. mettaton said about the consequences, he means me, too so yeah." Sans falsely corrected him.
Papyrus looks at him and corrected him back "IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT, IT'S THAT DOG!!!" He continued wailing.
"uh, dude." Sans said, correcting his brother again "i should've been helping you stop that dog and-
"OH, SO YOU'RE JUST BEING LAZY?!" Papyrus yelled in an assuming way.
"no, because i didn't know what to do but to just watch." Sans said, trying not to argue.
"WELL, WHAT DO YOU KNOW!?! METTATON WILL KILL BOTH OF US!!!" Papyrus yelled, and continued to wail non-stop over ShadowSilver's ruined costume.
"WHY DID THAT DOG DO THIS!?!" Papyrus cried to himself, sobbing and crying like a toddler "NOW METTATON IS GOING TO KILL US!!! SHADOWSILVER IS GOING TO BE VERY UPSET, AND IF SHE FINDS OUT ABOUT THIS, IT'LL TAKE A LOT OF TIME TO FIND OR MAKE ANOTHER, AND WHAT'S WORSE! THERE WON'T BE A SHOW TONIGHT! AAAAAAAAAAH!!! WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO!?! METTATON IS GONNA-"
"Papyrus?" A female voice said his name, causing Papyrus to shriek and frightened scream and picked up the display and hugged it, looking who ever said his name. It's ShadowSilver, who looked confused at what he is doing.
"I heard loud noises. What are you doing? Why are you hugging my costume?" She asked.
Papyrus tried to think of something before ShadowSilver sees what happened to the costume.
"OH HO HO! SHADOWSILVER! HEHEH…" he said in a nervous, fake smile and a fake laugh "UH, IT'S NOTHING, I UH, WAS HUGGING THE DRESS BECAUSE IT'S ADORABLE AND I WANT TO PROTECT IT LIKE WHAT METTATON SAID! NYEH HEH HEH…"
ShadowSilver quirked her brow in such confusion. "...okaaaaaaay." She asked.
"papyrus!" Sans whispered to his brother "you can't lie to her about her costume! just tell her-"
"I HAD TO!!!" Papyrus growled in a fierce whisper "I DON'T WANT OF US TO GET IN TROUBLE!!!"
"What's going on?" ShadowSilver asked curiously.
"NYEH HEH HEH HEH…" Papyrus nervously replied, faking a laugh and a smile "IT'S, UH, NOTHING! THE COSTUME IS TOTALLY NOT RUINED, I'M JUST HUGGING IT TO… UH…" He tried to think, then looked at Sans, having no choice to expose what happened. Papyrus sighed, giving in and said "FINE… LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR BELOVED COSTUME."
Papyrus pulls away from the costume to show the female robot evidence, backing away. ShadowSilver's eyes widened, and she cupped her hand near her mouth, couldn't believe what actually happened to her dress.
"LET ME TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED!" Papyrus quickly began to explain "THAT ANNOYING DOG APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE AND STARTED RUNNING AROUND THE BACKSTAGE, I TRIPPED OVER IT AND SPILLED MY SPAGHETTI ALL OVER IT! TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, THAT DOG WAS TEARING IT, AND SANS SHOULD'VE HELPED ME, AND NOW METTATON IS GOING TO KILL ME AND SANS!!! I AM SORRY, SHADOWSILVER!"
ShadowSilver slowly walked over to her costume, seeing all the spaghetti and tears everywhere on it. Her jaw opened widened, and her breathing quivered, upset and couldn't begin to comprehend at what happened.
"Wha-?" The female robot whispered, horrified "...Why did the dog do that?"
"THAT DOG WAS CAUSING TROUBLE!!!" Papyrus yelled out "I TRIED TO STOP IT, BUT IT WAS TOO LATE!!!"
ShadowSilver began sobbing quietly, years falling from her eyes. She covered her face with her hands, started weeping.
"I'M SORRY…" Papyrus softly said, walking over and placing his hands on ShadowSilver's shoulders, comforting her "... IF WE CAN'T FIX OR FIND ANOTHER COSTUME, I AM AFRAID THE SHOW WON'T GO ON."
ShadowSilver looked up at him tearfully, sniffled and sighed with her head down. Footsteps are heard as someone heard what just happened. Kuyar and Mettaton just came out, worried.
"Guys, what just happened?" Kuyar asked.
Papyrus shrieked a scream of fright as he saw the two couple, worrying what the consequences will come to him and Sans.
"OH, UHH, METTATON! KUYAR! NYEH HEH HEH…" He said, faking a smile and fake laughed "OH IT'S, UHH…"
Mettaton's and Kuyar's jaw dropped as the saw the ruined costume. Papyrus' chest heaved nervously, not knowing how to explain to the robot to get him to understand what happened.
"Papyrus! What happened to ShadowSilver's costume!?!" Mettaton yelled out.
"The dog broke into the backstage and starts causing a mayhem!" ShadowSilver explained for the shaking Papyrus in defense "Then Papyrus tripped over the animal and accidentally spilled his spaghetti all over the dress! Then the dog starts tearing it up, making it even more worse! So we don't know what to do! I don't think the show will be running if I can be in it because how many minutes for it to start!"
"IT'S THE TRUTH!!! ME AND MY BROTHER ARE VERY SORRY FOR WHAT WE DID! HE SHOULD'VE HELPED ME!!!" Papyrus said in agreement.
"i was just watching, didn't know what to do, but i did manage to help my bro get that animal out of here." Sans said also in agreement.
Mettaton turned to the skeleton brothers, his anger boiling inside him, making Papyrus gulp. The robot stomped over to the scared Papyrus. Sans didn't even shake, or flinch, just keeping it cool and watch what he and his brother will get. Mettaton's breathing was steaming with anger.
"I specifically told you two to NOT let ANYTHING happen to ShadowSilver's costume!" Mettaton lectured "And what happened now!?! IT'S RUINED BECAUSE OF YOU TWO!!!"
"IT'S THAT DOG'S FAULT!!!" Papyrus argued "I DIDN'T MEAN TO-"
"NOW SHADOWSILVER WILL BE SITTING OUT OF THE SHOW! OR WORSE, THERE WILL BE NO SHOW AT ALL!!!" Mettaton argued back. Sans wanted no part in their yelling. He backed away so he wouldn't get involved.
"As for your punishment," the robot concluded in a threat "I WILL TEAR YOUR BONY BODY APART!!!"
Kuyar was watching the two men arguing. Her husband had threatened Papyrus, but she found a way calm him down and think of a way to resolve the situation.
"Hey! Hey! Mettaton! Hey!" Kuyar cried out, defended Papyrus and trying to calm Mettaton down by placing her hands on his chest as the robot looked down at her. "We can fix this! We can fix ShadowSilver's dress quickly before the show!" She said, and panted. Mettaton took a deep breath of a sigh, and they looked at ShadowSilver, who is confused of what their plan is.
"Fix it?" ShadowSilver asked in disagreement "How are we gonna fix this in what minutes or so before the show? Sans, how many minutes?"
"uhh, let's see…" Sans pulled up his phone and answered "...we got 30 minutes."
"30 MINUTES!?!" Everyone questioned shockingly.
"Uh oh, uhh.." Mettaton winced nervously. He quickly walked over to the curtains, peeked through the theater, more worried about the show and the worried costume. He grabbed the mic and gave the speech to the audience, putting on a fake smile.
"Attention, beauties and gentlebeauties! Heh heh…" Mettaton announced, faking a laugh "Uhh, the show will begin, in uhh, 30 minutes! Thanks for waiting! Ha ha!"
The audience, even Toriel, Asgore, Undyne and Alphys looked at each other weirded out, never heard Mettaton nervously announcing like that before. They were asking and murmuring what is going on.
"Wha-?" Asgore asked the three of the women.
"What's going on?" Toriel asked.
"I dunno." Undyne cluelessly replied.
"I never heard Mettaton nervously announcing the show's starting minutes like that before." Alphys said. "Why?"
"Huh, I dunno." Toriel said. They all shrugged and continued to wait for 30 minutes for the show to begin.
Mettaton turns over to Kuyar, ShadowSilver and the skeleton bros, his fear grew, more worried about the show and ShadowSilver's costume and became angry with Sans.
"30 minutes, Sans?!" Mettaton asked the short skeleton.
"well, yeah?" Sans replied, keeping cool and not even flinching at Mettaton's harsh tone.
"30 minutes!?!" The robot questioned again "How are we gonna fix ShadowSilver's costume in 30 minutes!?!"
"We'll… think of something." Kuyar said.
"DO NOT WORRY!" Papyrus proudly announced, came up with an idea "FOR I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL-"
"Oh no!" Mettaton interrupted, disapproving the skeleton's idea "No, you will not! You will still face consequences, such as-"
"Now, now, Mettaton!" Kuyar said, trying to calm her husband down. "I'm sure Papyrus will think of something to make it up for what happened."
"OF COURSE, IN FACT!" Papyrus agreed "I CAN REMAKE THE DRESS THE FASTEST WAY BEFORE 30 MINUTES ARE UP!!!"
The skeleton grabbed the sewing thread equipment box, headpiece equipment box for the halo, card sculpting box, shoe equipment and cloth equipment box. "I'LL JUST NEED SOME WHITE THREADS AND CLOTH TO REMAKE SHADOWSILVER'S DRESS IN NO TIME! MY BROTHER WILL HELP MAKE THE SHOES, HEADPEACE, OWL MASK, WINGS AND HALO!"
When he opened the boxes, they were all empty.
"WHAT!?" Papyrus yelled out "BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND! I COULDN'T SWORN THEY'RE ARE MORE IN HERE!"
"uhh, bro?" Sans began to correct him "i think you used all of the stuff for the costumes, and they ran out."
""OHHH…." Papyrus said in realization.
ShadowSilver sighs, really upset after what happened. She sat on her knees on the floor, tears rolling down her eyes as she began crying.
"I guess there is no show." She whispered, weeping softly. The four walked over to her, Kuyar and Mettaton putted their hands on her shoulders, comforting the female robot as she looked both ways at her cousin and cousin-in-law.
"Hey, it's okay." Kuyar softly said.
"I'm sure we'll think of something." Mettaton cooed.
ShadowSilver sighed again, lowering her head.
"I NEVER MEAN TO DO THAT." Papyrus softly said. Mettaton looked at him, and he liked back. The robot sighed, not knowing when to forgive him for what happened. He was about to say something, until they heard a bang on the door. They all gasped, and Papyrus assumed it was the Annoying Dog again.
"I AM NOT GOING TO LET THAT DOG CAUSE TROUBLE AGAIN!!!" He shouted, and letted out a war cry.
"Wait! Papyrus!" ShadowSilver called out, but the skeleton didn't hear her.
Papyrus ran to the door, still crying out a war cry. Until then, it was a little Temmie with a box. Papyrus stopped at his tracks, thought it was the dog from earlier.
"Hoi! I'm Temmie!" The little creature said joyfully. Papyrus frozed.
"I THOUGHT YOU ARE THE ANNOYING DOG!" He said.
"Temmie?" ShadowSilver said, looking at the little creature "What are you doing here?"
"Tem came to help!" Temmie said "Tem has equips for ShadowSilver's costume!" The creature putted the box down and opened it, full of white and grey fabrics and feathers, golden headpiece equipments, grey construction paper, markers, cardboards, paint wires and shoe equipments, leather, textiles, foam, white fabric and maker.
"You…" ShadowSilver began asking "can help remake my costume?"
"Sure can!" Temmie replied "Tem wil help!"
"Make sure we have to get this done in 30 minutes!" Mettaton instructed "Or there will be NO show for tonight!"
"Tem understan!" Temmie replied "Tem wil have to work together with friends to finish dis costume! Let's get to work!"
Everyone nodded, and they begin the process of making the costume. Papyrus, Sans and Temmie are working on the dress. The skeleton bros are measuring ShadowSilver's size of her dress, and they started sewing by the right color. Temmie started to put all the feathers all over the costume. As the dress was done, Temmie went straight into making the headpiece and halo using the cardboard and paint it gold. The skeleton boys began to work together to make an owl mask, using the construction paper to cut the inch of the owl's face, using cardboard and colored the features of the face, and cutted out the eyes. Kuyar and Mettaton were working on the wings for the back by measuring inches of the wings by the wires and bending it to the right position, but Kuyar was struggling.
"How do you do this damn thing!?" Kuyar questioned in a struggle.
"Let me help!" Mettaton said, and he helped his wife bend the wire to the right position.
Kuyar chuckles, then started to use cardboard, cutting the wings, painting the white and draw the feathers using a marker. ShadowSilver was working on the shoes, using leather, textiles, white fabric and foam, using the shoe maker to create them. They worked out pretty well with those shoes, and the female robot seems to be impressed! Temmie seems to be impressed with the headpiece and halo as well. The whole costume project took about 20-25 minutes to make. Everyone started to put everything together to see if the costume is perfect enough for ShadowSilver to perform her character in it.
"ALRIGHT, LET'S SEE HOW THE COSTUME IS AND-!" Papyrus announced.
But as everyone checked out the costume, the dress… was a bit off.
The headpiece, owl mask, wings, shoes and the halo seemed to be fine, but the dress was mixed in with the white and grey all over too dramatically and feathers everywhere. It was not the way an owl goddess would be in the play like that! Everyone looked at it, all bug-eyed, not even knowing what to say. Temmie, however, is waiting for approval as it bounces up and down excitedly, not realizing everyone else's reaction.
"Well?" The tiny creature begin asking the female robot "What do you think? Did tem do a good job?"
ShadowSilver walked towards the dress, seeming unimpressed as she turns to Temmie angrily.
"Good job?" She asked, "It's a disaster!"
Temmie's expression dropped into a shock at ShadowSilver's answer.
"Look at it!" The female robot angrily said to the creature "The grey and white are all over the if like if it got spilled on!"
"Oh?" Temmie asked, confused "Is that what you think?"
"Yes!" ShadowSilver argued.
"Oh, come on!" Mettaton complained in annoyance "We've spent 25 minutes making that, and the show is about to begin in, uhh, I don't know what time it is!"
"...guys?" A voice asked. Everyone all turned, it was Napstablook, all curious. "... what's going on here?"
"Oh, uhh, Blooky!" Mettaton said, faking a smile and chuckling nervously "Ha ha ha! Eeh… what are you doing here? Heh heh…"
"ooooooooo….. just checking what is going on……" the ghost answered, and he turns to ShadowSilver, all confused "...and shadowsilver? why aren't you dressed yet? the shoe starts in 5 minutes!"
Everyone (except Temmie, who is confused) gasped. "5 MINUTES!?!" They all shouted.
Napstablook quirked his brow at them, all so confused. "...what? is there a problem?" He question.
"What!?! Ha ha, no! No problem at all! ShadowSilver had gotten done eating, yeah!" Mettaton nervously replied, faking a laugh "Go ahead and get prepared to put on the music when the show begins, ha ha ha!"
Napstablook, all confused and weirded out, turns around and leaves slowly, still confused at what happened.
Mettaton, in a panic, ran over to the mic and announced everyone by the speakers "Attention, beauties and gentlebeauties! Ha ha, uhh, the show will begin in 5 minutes, so ha ha! Thank you for your patience and we will get the show started soon!"
The whole entire audience started murmuring curiously, all confused and clueless at what is happening.
"What is going on?" Alphys asked worryingly to the three.
"I do not know why Mettaton is acting like this." Toriel answered cluelessly. Undyne and Asgore looked at each other, shrugging.
Mettaton putted down the mic, anger building up inside his body, and breathing like a bull.
"This is all YOUR FAULT!!!" The male robot rosed his voice, pointing his finger at Papyrus, all strucked-looked like if he is slapped in the face. Anger boiled in him.
"MY FAULT!?!?" The skeleton questioned, arguing with the robot "IT WAS THAT ANNOYING DOG THAT CAUSED THE COSTUME TO GET DESTROYED!!!"
"Well, you SHOULD have stopped it from causing trouble!" Mettaton yelled.
"I TRIED, BUT IT WAS TOO FAST!!!" Papyrus yelled back "MY BROTHER SHOULD HAVE HELPED ME!!!"
"WELL, YOU SHOULD HAVE NOT LET THAT DOG IN!!!" Mettaton also shouted back.
Watching the two men arguing and shouting back at one another, the worried Kuyar attempted to stop it from firing up even worse.
"Guys! Break it up! Come on!" She yelled, pushing Mettaton and Papyrus apart.
Their breathing calmed. Kuyar looked both ways at both men, their expression formed sadness.
With nothing else to think of how to fix the situation in a little time left, Mettaton had no choice but to let the show run, even ShadowSilver would go in the screwed-up costume.
"...Th-the show must go on…" Mettaton said. Kuyar wanted to say something, but she had no choice but to agree to it.
"ShadowSilver," Kuyar said to the female robot "you're just gonna have to go on stage in that."
The female robot looked at her costume, worrying about the audiences' reaction, fearing that they will never like her costume all screwed-up.
"But, Kuyar…" ShadowSilver said. "The aud-"
"Look," Kuyar cut her off, caressing both her hands to her face "... I'm worried about the audience, too, but we can't cancel the show. You're just gonna have to go on in that costume, even the audience would even review how much of a mess it is."
ShadowSilver hesitated, but nodded. She grabbed the whole costume to get ready. Mettaton and Kuyar both looked at each other, worrying what the audiences' reaction to ShadowSilver's costume would be like if they see it. The couples sighed, and Kuyar walked over to her place in the builted half of the mansion in her position for the show.
Mettaton walked over to the mic, until Papyrus stopped him by placing a hand on his shoulder.
"METTATON…" The skeleton shamefully said, and the robot looked at him "LOOK… I'M REALLY SORRY…"
Mettaton sighed sadly. "...You are forgiven." He said. Papyrus sighed, and Mettaton said to him "...Now go sit with your brother. The show must go on."
Papyrus sadly walked over to Sans, who is much worried about the audience and ShadowSilver as well.
Mettaton sighed, thinking about his cousin, worrying over what the audience will react to her costume all messed up. The robot took a deep breath and murmured to himself "Okay, okay… the show must go on! We can't let the audience leave without any patients! Let's hope they don't freak out about my cousin's costume! Okay, let's do this!"
Mettaton grabbed the mic and announced "Beauties and gentlebeauties! Welcome to the MTT Broadway!"
The audience applauded, amid still confused about minutes ago about his rather strange behavior. Toriel, Asgore, Undyne and Alphys all applaused, still thinking about earlier, but putted a smile on their face.
Until when they stopped, Mettaton continued to announce "Tonight's performance is taking place in the 15th century of the Underground in the medieval universe and the value of true love! This performance tonight is 'Would We Ever Stay Together?'!"
The audience cheered and applaused, readied to enjoy the show!
They stopped, and once again, Mettaton began to tell the show's introduction before performing "This show starts out with two robot lovers, Jack and Maria were being forced to be taken apart by the ruthless Marshman parents of the young girl, and they soon find each other again and prayed to the Goddess of Love to receive a blessing for their developed relationship."
Napstablook began the calming harp music on his sound operating system, and the curtains began opening, showing the forest near the house of the Marshmans.
Mettaton took his place as Jack, taking a deep breath and began performing by running and seeking for his love, and he sought the window of Maria's room, wanting to see her and feel her love again.
"Oh, Maria, my darling!" Mettaton cried out as in Jack's voice (as in his normal voice, too) "Will I not see thou again? Why art thoust ruthless parents take thou away from me? To marry off to a rich man? Oh, my dear, it doesn't involve love at all! Thou art the one I wanted the most! Thou can't stay trapped in the mansion for much longer! Thou cannot be free from the house of a ruthless lord and a duchess! I can help thou! Thou art a beautiful being in existence! I want to feel thoust love once again! I cannot live thy own life without thou!"
Kuyar, playing as Maria in her disguise, looks out the window, seeing her love calling for her, gasping happily to see him.
"My true love?" She asked in Maria's voice (also in her normal voice as well) "Is that thou? Oh, darling! I thought I never see thou again!"
Maria (Kuyar) leaped out of the window and embraced her lover tightly. They both shared a kiss for 15 seconds. They both looked at each other into their eyes.
"Why art thou back?" Maria (Kuyar) asked. "What about my parents?"
Jack (Mettaton) caresses her hair. "They can't take thou away now."
"But… would we ever stay together?" His lover asked.
"Doth not worry, my dear…" The young robot man announced "... I won't leave thou again."
Maria (Kuyar) nodded. Two lovers then placed their hands together with their heads bowed, praying to the Goddess of Love to receive her blessing of their relationship.
"Oh, great Goddess of Love!" They prayed "We request a blessing for our never ending love! We request a blessing to let us stay together for all of eternity! For love and for our own life! Please hear our prayers as we request a blessing!"
When ShadowSilver came out of the makeup room, all prepared, she sighed, fearing the worst and not wanting to go up the stage after she was about to be up.
"SHADOWSILVER!" Papyrus whispered, making the robot to jump "YOU'RE UP! GO!"
"I… I can't!" ShadowSilver refused.
"YOU HAVE TO! DON'T WORRY ABOUT YOU'RE COSTUME! GO UP THERE AND BREAK A LEG! GO!" Papyrus said.
ShadowSilver wanted to say something, but had to nod as the light on stage goes dim. ShadowSilver ran into stage in front between Mettaton and Kuyar, performing as the Goddess of Love.
Until when the spotlight shines on ShadowSilver, the audience gasped at her costume, seeing all the white and grey colors all over like it's splatted! Even her adoptive parents and the two couple were shocked to see the costume like that!
"...That costume!" Toriel whispered.
"Wha-What happened to it?" Alphys asked.
ShadowSilver was gazing at everyone as they murmured about it. ShadowSilver's SOUL pounded, and she looked at the Temmie.
"Go on! You can do it!" It cheered on quietly.
ShadowSilver sighed and nodded, and she began performing.
"My dear beings… " she said in the Goddess of Love's voice (also in her normal voice as well… again, but an angelic voice) and everyone watches "...Thou should know what is best for you. If thou feel you two belong together, thou can live thoust own life. Love is not to be taken away from the ruthless who tried to keep thou apart. It shall never tear you two apart. Thoust love will never be torn. Thou will live through love and life for all of eternity. Love shall shower thou for eons of life. Thou have my blessing…"
The Goddess (ShadowSilver) bowed her head, and the light goes dim. ShadowSilver ran off stage. She thought when people were watching her, and she looked at Papyrus, Sans and Temmie. They looked at her, smiling, and she smiled back as they wait for the show to be over.
As the light returns, Jack (Mettaton) and Maria (Kuyar) embraced warmly.
"My darling…" Jack (Mettaton) said softly. "...We will find a place… to live our lives… thou understand?"
Maria (Kuyar) nodded and said "...Yes, thy love… always and forever…"
The music ended, everyone applaused. ShadowSilver ran to the stage again, next to Kuyar, taking her hand as Mettaton takes his wife's hand as well. They bowed down, thanking the people for enjoying the show.
Until then… "ShadowSilver is AWESOME!!!" The Monster Kid shouted out, causing ShadowSilver to look up as the audience shouted about her and her costume.
"She is beautiful and amazing!" One bear said.
"Her costume and acting is everything beyond perfect! Phenomenal!" One Vulkin shouted out.
"ShadowSilver is amazing!" Alphys shouted out.
ShadowSilver formed a smile on her face, and laughed in relief. Papyrus, Sans, Temmie, Mettaton and Kuyar looked at her, smiling and couldn't believe the audience actually liked her costume and acting.
"Woohoo!" Toriel called out, and Asgore whistled.
"YEAH!" Undyne cheered on.
The audience then threw roses and bouquets at ShadowSilver, showing her as awards for her performance. ShadowSilver laughed excitedly and bouncing her toes.
The curtains began closing. ShadowSilver smiled at Papyrus, and she embraced him.
"Thank you…" she said softly.
Papyrus chuckled lightly, and hugged her back. They pulled away, and then the female robot hugged Sans. He chuckled and hugs back as well. They pulled away, and ShadowSilver picked Temmie up in her arms and hugged her.
"Thank you for your help!" She said.
"Anytime, Shads!" Temmie replied.
ShadowSilver then putted down the creature, and hugged her cousin and cousin-in-law, loving them as cousins. She pulled away from them, and Mettaton and Kuyar looked at each other, then laughed, happy ShadowSilver got positive responses from the audience about the costume and acting. They both kissed as they were getting ready to wrap up.

As the rest of the crew walked out of the theater, ShadowSilver said goodbye to her cousins, cousin-in-law and friends! She saw Alphys, Undyne, Asgore and Toriel, who are really happy to see her perform.
"You were amazing!" Asgore said.
"You totally ROCKED that performance!" Undyne said excitedly.
"Even about that costume though, it's pretty good!" Alphys said, and Toriel nodded.
ShadowSilver thought about what happened to her costume from before. And now, the people seemed to like the remade version.
"Yeah, thanks." ShadowSilver said with a smile.
Alphys chuckled and said "Well, we gotta go. See ya later!"
"Bye!" Toriel, Asgore and ShadowSilver said together, seeing the couples leave. The three looked at each other, then ShadowSilver hugged her parents lovingly.
"Thank you for coming tonight." She said, pulling away, and looking at her adoptive mother.
"Anytime, my sweet child!" Toriel said, making her adoptive daughter chuckle.
They got in the car, and began to ride home, thinking what a hell of a night it was.
