Naoki Irie got used to Kotoko being around him and her chaotic lifestyle, he always managed to evade Kotoko and her attempts until he was bothered again. Not by her attempts but with the fact that she wasn't trying anything anymore.

Naoki was bothered when Taketo approached Kotoko, not that he would ever admit it but soon his suspicions were soothed after he brought her back home after the the fist fight between Kinnosuke and Taketo. Naoki thought its over but now Kotoko wasn't around that much. She stopped coming to tennis practice and came home late.

She didn't talk much about her day anymore and most importantly she wasn't trying to talk to him or giving him any kind of attention. She looked like she was in a good mood while doing all of this which made Naoki annoyed.

One day while Kotoko was taking a shower her phone rang.

Naoki was around and after it rang for like 3 times he finally was annoyed enough to pick it up.

Hey Kotoko San I've booked 2 tickets for amusement park as planned for Sunday and I also heard about a new cafe ...wanna visit it tomorrow?

Kotoko is in the shower, I'll tell her that you called, said Naoki in his ever so cold voice trying to hide his anger

Ah Naoki San, please do so.. Thank you.

Sure enough it was Taketo. He didn't give up on Kotoko yet?!, thought Naoki

He was dead sure that he had given after that incident but to hell he had. Moreover what's up with this date plans and hanging out with him.

This Kotoko is being all chummy and flirting and going on dates huh. She should study more if she has time for her puny little dates.

Naoki then did something that a man like him was never expected to do.

He started reading her texts with Taketo. His stomach turned at how he was flirting with her and she didn't seem to dislike it.

Naoki then kept her phone and went to his room thinking about all of what he saw.

He was kinda surprised at himself. He never thought he'd read someone's texts behind thier back, specially Kotoko's.

But all of that started bugging him. He discovered from those texts that all this month she has been visiting different places with Taketo.

All of this shouldn't bother him at all in his opinion but the hell it was eating him from inside.

Next Sunday...

Naoki decided to do something that he never would've thought he'd do. He followed Kotoko to the amusement park or more like he stalked her.

Kotoko looked really happy while she was leaving home. This all lead to Naoki stalking her.

Kotoko hugged Taketo when she saw him and this pissed Naoki off endlessly.

Rest of the day they were hanging out riding different rides and eating like a showy couple and all of this was unpleasant to Naoki.

It was dark already and Kotoko and Taketo were sitting on a bench taking about Kotoko and her hopeless one sided love.

Kotoko San it's already been too long but if you still love him and don't want to give up it's alright, said Taketo trying to cheer Kotoko up

I'm getting really tired of it now, he doesn't look at me, he doesn't care what I do or how much I care about him, I'm always the thing he's least bothered about, I'm getting too tired to loving without receiving the same affection back, said Kotoko with tears dwelling up in her eyes.

However I'm really enjoying your company Taketo kun, I think much less about Irie kun since I started hanging out with you, said Kotoko

Taketo was really happy and he hugged kotoko hard.

You know how much I like you Kotoko San. I know you're not ready to fall in love again right now especially when you still have feelings for someone else but I still like you.

Kotoko was really moved at this and hugged Taketo back admitting that he has already started becoming the person who soothes her heart and makes her feel better about herself

Taketo let go off Kotoko and then leaned in for a kiss. He thought she'd reject his kiss again but he really wanted to try

Kotoko this time didn't back off and kissed him.

Little did they know that Naoki heard everything and even saw them kiss. That kiss really made his heart ache to no end. He went back home after that, he couldn't bear to see anymore.
