The goddess looked on in horror. Her hero, from the looks of it was dead. Demise had won. Or that's what she thought. a scream could be heard from the ground, a large purple beam was shot straight up into the heavens. A man jumped up onto the castle. "Link?" The goddess said with a slight hint of fear in her voice. She was certain this was link but... not, at the same time. with a single strike the hero knocked the man on his feat. Demise was prepared to invoke a curse on the three of them but link stopped. his body was changing rapidly, he dropped his blade and shrieked in pain while falling over, Demise took this as his way to escape, Hylia glanced away from Link, "YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY!" She was prepared to try and attack him with her magic, but a long energy beam extending past the tip of a double helix blade had cut off a chunk of her ear. She clenched it, Link was swinging his sword wildly, his appearance consisted of two horns, two fangs almost bending, he resembled that of an Oni. Many of her soldiers finally managed to reach the battlefield and jumped in front of the goddess. They all charged straight into him, most of them died, although through their valiant efforts they managed to leave him open long enough for Hylia to use a sealing spell. When she got close enough to use it she could have sworn she heard "Do it. Seal me. I'm a monster now." The goddess grabbed a wooden mask, strange chains came from the mask and tied themselves around the Oni's arms, legs, and neck, slowly pulling him towards the mask. "GAAAAARRRGGGHH!" he shrieked. he grabbed the chains and started to try and rip it off which he nearly succeeded in, but due to the strong will and large amounts of magic the goddess had, he couldn't rip them off in time and was soon completely sealed into the mask. The goddess cried, screaming at the top of her lungs. her beloved was gone. it hit her. an idea. she looked at the bubble she placed the once wooden mask now still wooden, that has now been transformed to take on the shape of her hero's face. she uttered a few words, "We may not be able to be together in this life but maybe in the next." she had a solemn smile on her face. Her plan was to make it so that her spirit and his were too live on in another life so they can live a full life with no war. and one way to fulfill this was to finally seal the monster that has taken so many of her peoples lives. First chapter and start of my first fic! what do you think of this? the idea popped into my head when I noticed the similarity between the Oni and the chosen hero from Himekawa's Skyward Sword comic, so I started to think about and decided to make a fanfic on it. I am open to criticism! not going to be many ships unless it makes sense or is already canon so no Link x Link or Link x a character from another point in the timeline! you guys can suggest ships and I might do it but this is not ship centric. BTW this was super short but mostly because i want you guys to get to the good stuff pretty quick and most of this story is just what could have happened pre Skyward sword prologue and really if you want to know the known canon story then look up a video on it.
