I originally posted this story a couple months ago but had since deleted it because I was busy and ran into good old fashioned writer's block as I was having a difficult time mapping out what I wanted to do next with the story. But I've come back since there was no use having a complete doc if I wasn't going to use it, so i guess I'm reposting this with some minor changes.

The young teen quietly read his brand-new All Might manga at the park, indulging his eyes to the colorful drawings printed on the paper. His mind imagined the thunderous voice of the superhero yelling his catch phrase, "Fear not for I am here!" as he beat the living daylights out of the villains. Izuku had been obsessed with All-might since he was but a small child, indulging himself on merchandise and the tv show loved so much. The greenette was about to flip the page when a gust of wind yanked the manga out of his hands and went a little distance before smacking someone in the face. 'Oh jeez!' Izuku panicked and rushed over to help but noticed two other people who looked very similar. "Hey, it's that nerd!" yelled one, "You're going to pay for that." threatened the other as the final one ripped the manga off and took a good look at before glancing at his direction. He knew exactly who this blonde boy with red eyes was: Katsuki Bakugo. "Deku! I'll fucking kill you!" And like very pissed bulled charged for the short teen who sped as fast as he could to save himself from a brutal beatdown.

It was a sad irony that the person who was chasing and yelling insults at him was once his friend, their mothers knew each other, and the boys had gotten along while Izuku had been Bakugo's biggest supporter until they reached six years old where he finally turned on him. The friend turned bully enjoyed the suffering of poor Izuku and nobody had ever challenged him due to his promising athletic talent in boxing, the Adults wishing that a star at Aldera Junior high would boost government funding to the school. "If you want to make this quick then stop running Deku!" The boy just ran harder and called out, "Sorry Katchan! B-but I didn't mean-" "Shut up!" The greenette ran down the streets of Musutafu at a speed that could rival a track player, dodging people on the sidewalk and evading traffic. He actually ran so far that he was in the suburbs, but Bakugo was stubborn and if he wanted something nothing was going to stop him. 'I'm getting tired, I need to find somewhere to hide fast.' Then he remembered the nearby woods, all he had to do was turn left and run like there was no tomorrow.

"He's running into the woods Bakugo!" observed one of his lackeys but he just snapped at him, "I know that you fucking tooth-face!" Izuku could hear the vile in his voice and despite his legs screaming for him to slow kept going. with what remained of his strength leaped through the tree line and darted into the forest, the shouts of the blonde fading until only the sound could be heard was Twings crunching under his shoes and didn't stop until he tripped on something and went tumbling down a little hill before bumping into a tree. "Jeez...If my day can't get any worse." As he got up and got his Barings, he realized he had jinxed himself as he didn't know exactly where he was, and his mind began racing while his brain thought of worst-case scenarios. "Well, I could go back the way I came...no, no, no! What if I just get myself even more lost?" Then he pulled out his phones to see if he had service and lone behold, he had absolutely none whatsoever. In a rare show of frustration kicked a rock to the side with his red shoe. He began to fugit, stumped on what to do.

But then he heard something faint, it wasn't as loud as the chirping birds or the rustling of the leaves but had intrigued his interest. It was coming from his right and viewing it as his only option went in its general direction. Izuku had been walking for some time before he could finally identify what the sound was. 'Water! It's water!' The water ran down from the mountains and emptied to the sea, Musutafu had few streams and rivers nearby so it was a no brainer that at least one would lead to home. His pace went from a walk to jog and then full-on sprinting until he reached the edge of a small river. He thanked whatever divine being existed for this turn of his fortune. The teen gleefully followed the water, sure that he had found the way home but after countless steps taken and no sign of civilization began to realize he was in a wild goose chase that led to nowhere. feeling defeated he ventured back into the woods to at the very least find a tree to sleep under as the sun had begun to set. "Stupid Deku..." He grumbled to himself, "I should've just taken it, would've been a lot better than getting lost in the woods." Then He noticed something in the corner in his eye and saw something that finally for once was good. 'A shed?! What luck I have!' He thought and the timing couldn't be better as the pink sky turned purple. He pushed through the tall grass and walked up to the rotting door which had no lock on.

With a gentle push he opened the door and pulled out his phone, turning on flashlight mode, the inside was bare and the only things that were inside were dust and cobwebs. The teen closed the door and decided to spend the night there, planning to continue his trek the next day where he was sure his panicking mother would've called authorities long ago who would be searching for him. He swept a little spot in the corner with his hand and sat down before placing his chin on his knees. He checked the time, it was 20:15 and decided it was a good time to sleep. Even with his worry he felt more and more tired before falling asleep, the last thing seeing was the bright moon through a broken window.

After a while the greenette awoke to the sound of creaking but his brain wasn't fully awake, so he just looked up curiosity with his now sore neck to the doorway which stood a figure. Once his brain processed what was going on fear grasped him, he didn't know who this person was nor their intention. Swallowing the growing lump in his throat, plucked up his courage and slowly got up as the figure continued to stand there. "W-who are you?" He asked in a shaky voice but this time the person spoke in a strange dialect that was hard to understand. "No, who are you? What are you doing here?" The voice was female, and she walked up closer, being cornered he really only could watch as she walked into the moonlight that escaped through a hole in the roof. It was a beautiful girl roughly around his age who had pale skin, hair as black as night and onyx that glared into his soul. She wore a traditional white kimono with a red hakama and small sandles.

"I-I-I am Izuku Midoriya and I was lost so I came here for the night." Even with a perfect explanation she looked unpleased. "But you trespassed, and why are you wearing such weird clothing?" 'Ouch, are my clothes that bad?' Checking his clothes but finding them alright. "I'm sorry but I didn't know anyone owned this shed. May I-" "Please leave now!" This mysterious girl was very much upset but Izuku didn't want to leave. "Look, I don't know who you are but please." He begged, "I can't stay out there, what if a wild animal attacks me?" "Wha-? Where's your pride? There should be a fishing settlement nearby." But he was persistent, "Where is it?" "Southeast baka!" "What direction's southeast?" The girl just stared at him for a good minute, like he had committed a travesty. "You really are an idiot you know that?" She scolded in an authoritative tone, "Come outside with me, Midoriya." Fearing the wrath of this very unhappy girl followed her outside where there was a light breeze, she then pointed to the moon which shone brightly. "Do you see the moon?" He nodded and she continued. "Both the sun and moon rise in the east and fall in the west, even with the changes in course over the duration of the year this still applies. Since the moon is still somewhat low then you go in its direction to the settlement, it's called Torurokku. You should find help there but of course considering your lack of knowledge you may need my assistance, for a price of course." Izuku was all too grateful and couldn't care less.

"You have a deal." The onyx eyed girl smiled gently and bowed, Izuku doing the same as to not appear rude. "Please, follow me" And with that the two make their way away from the little shed and into the woods to find Torurokku. Initially, the trip through the woods was dead silent with the girl completely focused on the journey and Izuku having a mental crisis, he managed to get lost and was being led back by a mysterious girl, a pretty one at that and he had zero experience whatsoever at talking to the opposite gender expect for relatives. But he at the very least wanted to know what her name was. "Um, I do not mean to rude but I'd like my question answered, what is your name? She stayed silent for a moment before answered all while without even a single glance, "My name is Momo Yaoyorozu, the daughter of Hi-gatana Yaoyorozu." Izuku hadnt heard the name Yaoyorozu before but just assumed

"What were you doing in the woods Midoriya?" She asked, once again with no eye contact. "I was being chased." He replied but didn't want to give the full story as he wondered if she'd berate him even further. "By who or what may I ask?" 'Well crap.' He had to respond somehow. "There was a little misunderstanding between me and a group of guys, I decided to hide here to get away." "Hmm." That was her response and nothing more. The two continued on for the rest of the journey in silence and there they saw a light in the distance, a familiar light from a streetlight! Izuku was more the pleased and looked both ways, seeing no traffic stepped over the metal railing and Yaoyorozu followed suit. He noticed how she looked at the simple streetlight emitting light above the two of them like a spotlight with fascination. "Is Torurokku that way?" She was snapped out of trance and quickly returned to the apathic looked he had grown used to from the past hour of walking. "It's should Midoriya, we best be quick though. If a bandit or worse decided to target you then there's little I can do for you." The greenette turned pale, "W-w-what do you mean by that?!" Yaoyorozu shook her head as she walked and muttered something under her breath. But soon trailed after her, not wanting to be left alone in the dark.

Izuku was tired after who knew how long they had been walking down this road, his phone finally dying some time ago. His legs were about to give up, but Yaoyorozu looked just fine considering they were climbing up a hill. "Are you sure you know the way?" "Yes Midoriya, just a bit further." "But...can't we rest?" The teen looked at him and with a firm voice said, "No, now stop complaining." Izuku being the introvert he was shut his mouth up and let her continue to lead. Finally, they arrive at the point of the road where it was carved out of the rock face and on the edge of a slope that led to more forest but that's not what caught both of their attention. It was the bright lights of a city still alive even after dark. "Wait, that's Musutafu! Thank you for taking me home!" He was ecstatic but quickly realized that the Yaoyorozu girl hadn't been very truthful to him. "But you said you knew where Torurokku was?" Yaoyorozu seemed surprised but ignored his question, "We need to go, it's far too late into the night." Izuku tolerated many things but after having lady luck spit in his face and a girl who seemed to take a disliking to him got to his nerves. "You said you knew where it was. Did you lie to me Yaoyorozu?" She stared angerly at him, "I did not do such thing! Now we need to leave now!" "Why?!" Yaoyorozu pinched the bridge of her nose and walked up to the shorter boy and firmly grabbed his hand. "Because you are in danger." She whispered aggressively, both scaring and confusing him.

Then there was a cackle coming from behind them, the hair on his neck stood up at attention. The duo turned around to see a man at the edge of a streetlight's gaze, his features masked by the shadows of the night. "What do we have here?" His voice sent chills up his spine and goosebumps formed on his arms while Yaoyorozu looked stoic, but her eyes showed a glimmer of surprise. "W-who are you sir?" He felt the graze of Yaoyorozu and made a footnote to keep his mouth shut around her. "It's doesn't matter I'm afraid, at least not to you human." He walked forward a few steps and Yaoyorozu stepped in front of the greenette. 'Do they have history? And what the heck does he mean human?' "Leave us be or you shall regret it." She threatened but the man seemed unfazed. Now with his visible he could see just how disgusting he looked. This man had sickly skin that glistened in the light with yellow teeth, wide eyes that had a wild look, slimy green hair while wearing torn jeans and a brown hoodie stanned with something that he couldn't identify. "Too bad because I won't let a bitch stand in the way of my meal!" Suddenly he sprinted forward at a speed equivalent to an Olympics runner straight at them!

Without a second thought she met him head on and flawlessly grabbed his arm before flinging him over herself and onto the ground. "Midoriya run!" She yelled but he froze. "But what abo-AAHH!" She suddenly ran up to Izuku and pushed him over the railing. After getting covered in dirt and small bruises Izuku landed into a bush, groaning from the unpleasant experience. He slowly got up and looked up where he could only see the faint light and the sound of a struggle. The greenette waited anxiously while not knowing if Yaoyorozu was ok and whatever he should go or help her. 'I can't just stand here!' He thought, 'I have to help Yaoyorozu!' Filled with need to repay her for helping him reach home he began to climb up to assist her in any way possible. Unfortunately, he hadn't gone far until he slipped back down. "Ah come on!" He tried again but stopped for a different reason, he couldn't hear the struggle anymore. Each second to Izuku was an unbearable eternity, not knowing what was going on.

Then lone and be hold Yaoyorozu climbed over the railing and slid down with a certain elegance but Izuku could see her left arm had not been left unscathed. The sleeve had been ripped and the beautiful white was dyed red by blood that oozed down. "Oh jeez! Are you alright? No! Of course not, look at your arm!" "Midoriya it's ok, I have suffered worse though I can't say the same for that man." He couldn't comprehend how someone could be so relaxed with a wound like that. "We should get you to the hospital fast." Yaoyorozu shook her head. "I don't even know what it is." "It's a place where you can get help." But she wouldn't budge, "I'm sorry but I'm not going...do you have anything in your home to assist with my wound?" Izuku's initially didn't know who to respond. On one hand she did bring him out of the woods and potentially saved his life by fight off that man but one the other, he was bringing a random girl he had just meet to his home. if his mom got back from work and found her, she'd lose her mind. "Umm...Midoriya?" "Yes! I mean, y-yes you can." Yaoyorozu smiled gently and bowed, "Thank you Midoriya, I really appreciate your hospitality." The two then set off for the city, Izuku checking to make no one was following them.

Much like before it was quiet, partially due to his awkwardness and his fear of interactions with anyone. But he decided to break the ice, "Thank you yaoyorozu, I'm grateful for what you have done for me." Yaoyorozu turned her head at him. "You are welcome, though I must apologies for my brash behavior earlier. I didn't expect anyone to be there." Usually, people would be very upset and hold a grudge after an unpleasant first impression, but Izuku Midoriya wasn't that kind of person to hold grudges and was easy to forgive. "It's ok." Thankfully it didn't take long to entire the city limits and due to it being so early in the morning, they were the only people out and about. It was peaceful with the lights shinning onto the streets and a few neon signed of stores that were open 24/7. Yaoyorozu looked like a child walking through Santa's workshop, trying to grasp every detail imaginable. 'She must be from a rural area.' He thought and eventually they reached the apartment complex though she though it was something else. "Your home is quite large Midoriya." He cleared his throat, "Oh n-no, this an apartment complex, there are different apartments where people live. Like little houses." They climbed up the stairs to Izuku's apartment and he led her to his door. With a jingle of the house key he opened the door and walked inside of his dark home; Letting an exhale of relief he turned on the lights but noticed that Yaoyorozu hadn't entered and was still waiting outside. "Yaoyorozu, what are you doing?" Izuku asked. "I cannot enter without your permission; it'd be shameful if I was not invited in." 'This girl is very strange.' He thought but he had to help her injury, he wouldn't forgive himself if it began infected. "You can come in, Yaoyorozu."
