Neal was conducting an impromptu lock picking demonstration when a sudden crash interrupted his fun and scattered his audience. Peter's evil grin told him what he'd find in the file folders rudely dumped onto his desk.
"Oh, look! My will to live, it's gone."
"Don't be so dramatic, Caffrey; it's just bank fraud."
Eyeing the stack, Neal groaned.
Then Peter said, "I brought you coffee, too." The cup he set down was not from the break room, but from Neal's favorite cart downstairs.
Appeased, Neal smiled his thanks and grabbed a file. "Guess I'll live a little longer after all."
First, FFN really needs some separate spaces for notes, but since they don't have that, you'll have to take my word for it that this really is officially 100 words!
