Chapter 2 "Leave me alone"
Scene (Kuoh Academy Lunch Hour)
Going from a light jog to an all out full run, Issei just wanted to get away from this person, knowing who she was and how popular she was. "She must've lost a bet or something, showing up like that. More than likely, she just wants to make fun, pretending to be nice, then laughing later about it to her buddies, like that Rias girl. First I tell off Matsuta and Motohama, then before I know it, every girl that I used to peep at, now hunts me down, usually to pick on me or other things. She is just another one of "them".
Finally, seeing the connecting hallway that led toward the stairs, Issei attempts to turn on his heel and make a b-line down said stairs, then right again, which leads to the exit doors. His plan completely failed as the said Akeno happened to be directly in front of him suddenly, causing him to crash into her rather tough but very soft body, causing him to fall backwards onto the floor, landing on his rear.
Rubbing his ankle, as he seemed to fall the wrong way, twisting it, Issei attempts to ignore the magician that was Akeno, looking down at him, with a look of concern on her face. Wanting nothing to do with this, Issei immediately attempts to stand, only fo fall on one knee, in pain. All that could be heard was a slight, "pfffmmm!" Akeno, overtaken by what she had just done, attempts to offer her arm to Issei, only for it to be slapped away, very hard. Two very piercing and very stern brown eyes stare down Akeno, making something inside of her crack and loose structural integrity. Holding her numb hand and looking back at the boy's gaze were the only things happening on Akeno's side of things.
Meanwhile, Issei stands up, his face contorted in pain, but he does not make a single sound, rather, he starts to limp past Akeno, making his way toward his original destination. The said woman stands in her place, simply keeping her gaze on this troubled and clearly wounded classmate. "Looks like that person is going to leave me alone for good now. I have never hit a person before, but she needs to understand that I am no pushover and she has no right to touch me!" Making it out of the exit door, Issei decides that today was enough. Going home was the best course of action considering he needed to be alone. The only problem is that he had an abundance of alone, for nine straight months.
His parents were very caring and prepared a trust for him in case anything should happen. Issei is probably one of the few students of Kuoh, who is a homeowner. This would be pretty amazing in most circumstances, this however, was not one of them. This house was empty of everything, aside from furniture, food and memory. After a short walk, Issei pulls out a pair of keys from his pocket, opening his front door. It's just quiet. No, "welcome home son, we missed you". No, "honey I have dinner ready, so go and wash up!" No, "I know you've had a bad day dear, don't worry, tomorrow will be better, I promise!" No, instead of those things I used to take for granted, I get reward instead with silence. Issei is now sitting near the entrance of his home, taking his shoes off. "How much longer can I do this?"
(Scene) Occult Research Room at the "Abandoned" Old School Building
"President, can I ask you for something?" We now see a beautiful red-haired woman, sitting next to an equally beautiful black-haired Akeno. They are both drinking tea and playing a game of what looks to be chess. The redhead nods while smiling, "Akeno, it's Rias and you can always ask me for anything! You are my best friend and my very cute queen, I would move worlds for you!" Blushing, Akeno nods back. "Rias, do you know about Issei Hyoudou?" Rias puts a finger to her chin, deep in thought.
Then she smiles, "yes, I know of him. Nothing to write home about, but I must say I believe he is a different person, at least from what others are saying. After what happened to his parents, I am surprised he is actually still attending." Akeno nods while frowning, "Rias, he is really hurting." The redhead looks surprised at her queen. "Oh, really Akeno? Are you concerned for our little kohai?" Akeno attempts to hold in a blush, however this fails completely and Rias notices.
Standing up, surprising Akeno, Rias then puts both of her hands on her hips and makes an announcement. "Akeno, as your King, I hereby order you to…!" Akeno holds her breath. "I order you to investigate Issei, along with Koneko!" Akeno then looks puzzled, "investigate?" Rias nods, "I find it interesting that you are attracted to someone, well, that in itself is impressive, however, what is more impressive is that you are interested in someone that I myself am interested in." Akeno now tilts her head in confusion, "are you trying to play some copy-cat game? I am surely confused, Rias".
Nodding once again, Rias laughs a bit, "Akeno, don't tell me, that you don't feel that aura radiating off of him?" Akeno shrugs, "a little bit now that I think about it, however, before it was hardly noticeable." Rias's smile turns into a slight grin, "up until nine months ago, then, I was able to feel some random power spikes, really strong ones, but now, now they are like miniature explosions of concentrated power. Dare I say, Issei is the owner of a sacred gear." Akeno smiles, now getting where Rias is coming from. Rias notices this and nods, "Akeno, call Koneko and keep an eye on Issei for me?" Akeno smiles, "yes, president."
