Chapter Two: Escape From The City

Chun-Li was currently flying her way to Metro City and was still trying to process the reality of the situation. Juri Han having a child? To her, it just seemed so unlikely that someone like Juri would ever bother with having children of her own. Then there was the fact Cody Travers was the father. That was an entirely different curveball on its own. Travers, she knew he was a good guy. A bit rough and gruff at times sure but ultimately good-hearted. She knew of his hand in dismantling the Mad Gear Gang from the most powerful street gang in the world. To the gang being, a shell of its former self currently. Though they still had some presence globally as little as it was.

Cody had some rough times but eventually turned things around and eventually became mayor of the city. Metro City has had an amazing turnaround during his time as mayor. Chun-Li honestly had great respect for Cody in his work in bettering Metro city and succeeding at that. This makes it so weird he would ever even consider sleeping with the Korean femme fatale. After all, Juri was.. well, Juri. And not just them sleeping together, they even had a kid.

Speaking of which, the boy Junsu Travers was also his own thing to unwrap. It appears that he's more than likely been left in the dark his entire life. Regarding whom his mother is and just what, that entails. Chun-Li could only imagine the sort of steps Juri had been secretly taking over the years. To prevent that secret from being found out. While Bison has been seemingly dead for a long time now. There were small remnants of Shadaloo being led by Bison's lieutenants that have managed to be quite elusive. They would jump at the chance without hesitation. To capture the boy and make him their super weapon of sorts against their enemies. The boy did possess the power of the Feng Shui engine, many would literally kill to possess such a thing.

Which was also a very big mystery. How in the world did he gain it, to begin with? The Feng Shui engine is a device that Juri had implanted in her body when working for S.I.N. She was aware that Juri lost the original to Bison and then replaced it with a different one. Plus, there's no way he could have a device of his own, Juri had the only one left in existence. The only explanation could be that somehow that power was gained hereditarily and remained dormant until now. How could that even be a thing? So many questions piling up and no answers for them at the moment.

Hopefully, she could get Junsu to see reason and come quietly. The problem was that the boy was flooded with anxiety and fear. Frankly, she couldn't blame him, who wouldn't be? The teen was in a delicate state and if pushed in the wrong way. Would make things very hard, especially if something made him dip into his Feng Shui eye power unintentionally. That was a frightening thought in its own right. Especially given that they have no idea just how powerful his version is. It could be as strong as Juri's or potentially even greater.

Chun-Li was broken out of her musings when a voice came in on her radio.

"Chun-Li, do you copy me?" Spoke a female voice with a British accent.

"Cammy!" Chun-Li replied in excitement.

"Heard you needed some backup. I was nearby so I'm flying my way to Metro as I speak. Though I don't know the specifics, who's the target?" Cammy asked over the radio.

"Cody Travers and Junsu Travers, though primarily Junsu Travers. As he's the son of Juri Han."

"Beg pardon, but what the bloody hell did you just say?" The Delta Red agent replied in shock. Chun-Li then gave a rundown of what she knew about Junsu. From his appearance, skills, and the fact he possesses Feng Shui power as well. Cammy was quiet for a few moments as she processed that info. She finally replied, her voice a mix of shock and near disbelief.

"Well, fuck all kinds of duck."

"Once I touch down, I'll confront Cody." Stated the Interpol agent. "Once you make it to Metro, stick to patrolling the skies. You might get lucky and find Junsu if he hasn't gone into hiding within the city yet."

"Understood love, look forward to seeing you soon."

"Likewise Cammy, Good luck."

XxX

Junsu hadn't stopped running in the slightest in the thirty minutes it took him to make it to the other side of the city. He reached the mayor's office and practically barreled through the door to the shock of both his dad and Marlowe.

"Junsu!" Cody exclaimed in surprise and worry once he saw his son come essentially crashing into his office. Then he noticed the state Junsu was in, sweaty like he just ran a marathon. His clothes were disheveled, and he had the look of someone confused and scared. Something had happened, something that shook Junsu to his core. "Marlowe, could you excuse us please?"

"Of course sir" Marlowe replied leaving. She gave a look of concern to the teenager as she left the room and closed the door.

"Dad! Something weird happened. I don't know what's going on. I was being attacked, then I blacked out and th-" Junsu spouted off rapidly in panic.

"Calm down son." Cody cut in putting his hands on his son's shoulders looking directly at him. "Deep breaths, steady yourself, and explain to me exactly what happened."

Junsu nodded his head, took a few deep breaths, and then talked. He explained the attack in the alley, how he blacked out, and what he saw once he came too. "Then I ran as fast as I could here, do you have any idea what's going on?"

Cody had gone pale in the face; he knew more or less what this meant. His worse fears may have very well come true. Albeit, in a way he never thought they would. However, there was no denying it.

"Sit down Junsu we have some things to discuss, things about your mother. Since what's going on revolves around her." Cody began as he sat back in his chair, his son sitting in the chair in front. "Your mother is a very dangerous person, a very wanted person for a large book worth of reasons. It's because of this and more she's been almost non-existent in your life. Junsu, your mother is Juri Han."

"Fucking what!?" Junsu exclaimed in surprise as he shot up from his chair. His mother was Juri Han of all people. How? He knew somewhat who she was. She had been considered a prodigy in taekwondo herself in her teen years. Before disappearing one night along with her parents. Only, to show up years later as some taekwondo-using assassin of ridiculous power and skill. She's been doing all sorts of things around the globe for years, eluding the law at every turn as she did. That woman was his mother? Then a sudden thought entered his mind.

"JH, all those presents over years." He mouthed more to himself as he looked down quickly at his gloves. "Those were all from her, weren't they?"

Cody nodded his head. "Despite what many might think of her and rightfully so, considering her reputation. Your mother really does care about you, if she could have had a more direct hand in raising you. I have no doubt that she would've. She kept her distance because it was the safest thing. Plenty of people out there wouldn't hesitate to use you, to get her. Some of these people are much worse than others. And that's not even including you somehow inherited arguably her greatest strength."

Junsu thought about it, he didn't really remember anything from his blackout. Just of sudden amping of his more aggressive emotions, though he vaguely remembered a rather large bump in power course through his body. "Is it really that wild of a thing and that major of a deal?"

The former jailbird stared at his son with complete seriousness. "Son, the fact you somehow inherited this power, this Feng Shui power. While I don't know much about it, I do know this. Such a thing would be considered such a long shot it might as well be something out of a fantasy tale. Make no mistake, it is, unfortunately, quite a huge deal. Some people wouldn't hesitate to kill to acquire such an ability. This power allowed your mother to fight outnumbered against some of the strongest fighters in the world and win decisively."

The reality of just how grave this situation could be finally set in on Junsu. "Oh shit, it doesn't matter if it's the better or worse scenarios. If the ones who would be interested in this got a hold of me. My options would be either bad or even worse, wouldn't they?"

Cody looked at his son sympathetically as he spoke. "I won't say what the worse options are as for the better ones. Something like Interpol would keep you as a glorified prisoner out of fear of your power and bait to use on Juri. Or they would force you to work with them regardless if you wanted to or not. Sure they would probably mask it as if you'd be given a choice, but you really wouldn't. For any major government organization, the idea of having someone with power like Juri's. Would be far, far too tempting to pass up."

"Gods old and new," Junsu said in exasperation. "We don't know for sure that anyone even knows yet. I mean it happened in a mostly out-of-sight alley… oh hell, there were cameras though." Junsu finished saying looking at his father nervously.

Cody thought to himself for a moment before he knew what he had to do. He pulled out his personal phone cell phone and called someone he knew would help.

"Dad, what are you doing?" The purple-eyed teen questioned.

"Making arrangements to smuggle you out Metro City and somewhere far away and would be hard to find you at." Cody replied "Should it be needed, I hope not but I'm not taking the risk, not with you. I won't have you suffering for something that's both not your fault and beyond your control." He explained before the person he called answered. "Poison, I'm calling in all my favors and I need you and your crew to call in all the ones you have as well." After a few minutes of explaining everything, no point in hiding things now. Not with the stakes being potentially as high as possible. Cody let out a sigh after hanging up the phone. "Poison and the others will have something ready within the hour if needed. They'll also set up other plans to be kept on standby for the long term if we don't need to get you out right away."

Junsu shifted uncomfortably on his feet. "I don't like the idea of dragging Aunt Poison, Aunt Roxy, and the rest of the crew into this potential mess."

"I understand son, but Poison made it very clear on the phone. She and the rest of them are happy to get on the wrong side of the law again. If it means helping you." Cody stated and then his office phone rang. The mayor furrowed his brows as he saw who it was before answering and putting it on speaker. "Cody here, what's going on Lucia? You only call my office directly if something major is going on."

"I'd say this qualifies Cody," Lucia spoke over the line. "We got a chopper from Interpol a few minutes out from landing on the station helipad. None other than Chun-Li herself is arriving in it. She said she needs to speak with you and weirdly enough, Junsu too. When I asked what her business being here was, any idea why?"

Junsu felt his blood run cold, while Cody stiffened up before answering calmly. "Not a clue but tell her I'm on my way to the station to speak with her. As for my son, I haven't seen him since I left for work this morning. I'll try to contact him on my over and see what's going on." Cody didn't like lying to Lucia but the fewer people in the know, the better for now.

"Got it, I'll pass the word along. See you when you get here." Lucia retorted before hanging up.

The office was dead quiet for a few moments as this new development settled in the minds of the father and son. But only for those few moments.

"GOD DAMMIT!" Junsu roared in frustration; he wasn't one to let his temper get the better of him generally. However, everything that happened so far had finally pushed him to the point he couldn't keep it back now. "Why!? Why me!?" The purple-eyed teen fell to his knees as his emotions overflowed. "What did I do!? I never wanted any of this! Why does the world seem to be out to fuck me over so much all of a sudden!?" Junsu couldn't stop a few tears from rolling down his face.

Then he suddenly felt a pair of comforting arms embrace him.

"I'm so sorry Junsu, I've always tried from the moment you came into my life to keep you safe from this sort of thing," Cody spoke softly trying to ease his son's emotions as much as he could. "I've failed you in that regard and failed you as a father in turn as a result."

"It's…it's not your fault dad." Junsu quietly replied. "I wouldn't even say it's mom's fault. This's all only happening because of an unpredictable freak incident that has snowballed out of control rapidly. But now I have no choice but to go it seems. I'd prefer to take my chances on the run before I become a glorified prisoner in a gilded cage of sorts. Just make sure to keep safe please."

"Don't you worry about me too much, ok? Your old man may be getting older but I'm still as tough as they come." Cody spoke sincerely. "You just focus on keeping yourself safe. The world is a much more dangerous place than many like to admit. Though, living freely even if there's danger is still preferable to being a prisoner. Trust me I know all too well. Now you need to get going, link up with Poison and the others at their hang-out. I'll send a quick word to update her and then I'll destroy my cell phone for good measure. Get out of Metro and wherever you wind up, try to find a way to get in contact with Juri. She's the only one who can properly help you learn to master and control that power."

Junsu then wrapped his arms around his father and hugged him tightly. "Thank you for everything, love you, dad."

"Love you to son."

Father and son held their embrace for a few moments. Both understood without a word being said. This could very well be the last time they see one another for a very long time. Soon enough they separated and without missing a beat, Junsu took off trying to make his break to keep his freedom.

XxX

After sending a quick message to Poison and then destroying his phone. Cody left his office telling Marlowe to clear his schedule, and that she had the rest of the day off once she did. As he drove to the station, parked his car, and made his way inside the police station then up to the helipad. He thought about what was about to happen. Cody knew that it would wind up turning into a fight. Chun-Li was too damn smart and good at what she did to be fooled for too long. As much as he didn't like to think it, he probably wasn't going to win. Chun-Li was arguably the foremost practitioner of her style of fighting in the world, certainly one of them at least. No doubt she trained regularly too at top of that. Cody was just mainly a street brawler, his time as mayor and being dad forced him to put training on the back burner. Case in point, he was rusty.

"In hindsight, I should've found more time to train. Ah well, too late for that now." Cody thought to himself. He didn't necessarily need to beat Chun-Li. He just had to keep her tied up long enough for Junsu to link up with Poison and the others. Before the Interpol agent caught up to him. Once he managed that he'd be scot-free.

Cody made it to the rooftop and began approaching the helipad and saw Chun-Li conversing with Lucia. Chun-Li was wearing the same modified qipao, boots, spiked bracelets, blue leotard, and brown pantyhose. He also noticed she had a radio earpiece on her. Both women saw him and walked towards him, they all met in the middle of the helipad.

"Mayor Travers, good to meet you. I'm impressed by what you've achieved bettering Metro City." Chun-Li politely greeted.

"Chun-Li, nice to meet you as well. I understand you're one of the best in their field of work." Cody replied trying to keep his tone calm and even.

"No luck in contacting Junsu, I take it?" Lucia asked innocently still not knowing what was actually going on. "It's not like him to ignore you when you call."

"It is weird but hey his fifteen now. He doesn't need me constantly watching him." Cody retorted keeping up his act.

Chun-Li paying close attention narrowed her eyes slightly in suspicion. Something wasn't right here. Cody was acting a little off, trying too much to keep cool. She could tell, she had been doing her job long enough to notice even the smallest tells. "What are you hiding Travers?"

Cody raised an eyebrow. "Whatever do you mean by that?"

Chun-Li took a few steps forward and spoke accusingly. "What do you know about Juri Han?"

"What makes you think I have any involvement with that sadistic bitch?"

"Simple Travers, I know she's the mother of your son." The Interpol agent spoke with absolute certainty.

"Wait, wait, wait just a moment here." Lucia cut in hearing that and turned to Chun-Li. "Look, I know you have it out bad for Han, I get it. Really though, I think your desire to catch her is getting the better of you. That's a ridiculous thing right…Co…dy?" Lucia's words slowly died in her mouth as she stared at Travers. He was tense, his face in a grimace, eyes narrowed and steely. It was at that moment the realization hit her.

"Oh…my god, it's true, that woman is Junsu's mother?" Lucia stated before her eyes widened as she thought more. "Does Junsu even know!? Does he even know the truth about who his mother is!?"

"Yes, he learned earlier today." Travers calmly replied never taking his eyes off Chun-Li. "I had always planned to keep it secret for his whole life, for his safety. However, certain things have changed now. Juri is the only one who can help with what's going on with him. And before you ask, neither my son nor myself have any idea of her whereabouts."

"You know that and you're just letting him go!?" Chun-Li spoke in aggravation. She knew Cody was telling the truth now and what she was hearing was grating her nerves a bit.

"Don't think me being irresponsible here!" Cody practically hissed in return. "I made sure to put him on the proper path. Where he can do what he needs to do without losing his independence and freedom completely in the process. I know what you're here to do. You'll take him to some facility where he'll be locked up as a glorified prisoner or forced to be a tool against his will."

"You honestly think I wou-" Chun-Li began before being cut off.

"You may not do such of thing, but do you honestly think your bosses are that virtuous!?" Travers angrily cut in. "You expect me to believe they would resist that temptation, knowing all too well the power they could force to do with as they please? Look directly into my eyes and tell me that I'm wrong."

Chun-Li looked directly at Travers but couldn't find it in her to say anything.

"Just as I thought."

"I understand you're doing what you feel you have to do as a parent." The Interpol agent spoke with an even tone. "However, your son's power is too powerful and unstable for him to run freely with it. I will do everything in my power to ensure he's treaty fairly and not taken advantage of. I have a lot of pull within Interpol after all. Please Cody, just tell me where he is."

Cody took a deep breath and sighed heavily before taking a stance. "I'm sorry Chun-Li but I can't tell you. Lucia, get back, this's my fight and my fight alone."

Chun-Li jumped back to make some distance but before she could take a stance of her own her. The radio in her ear went off.

"Cammy here, target located and making approach to capture. Sending you the coordinates."

"Understood, I'll rendezvous as soon as possible." Chun-Li simply spoke into her radio as she then took her own stance.

Both fighters stared each other down, and the noise of the city around them seemed to disappear. One heartbeat passed, two, three, and then they charged.

As they neared Cody threw a punch from his right. Chun-Li swiftly ducked underneath and kept her momentum. Struck with two quick strikes with her fists, connecting and forcing Cody to grunt from the pain. Wanting to keep pressing she then followed with a swift high kick. Cody quickly moved back and just avoided it. Chun-Li sent a fist from her left, but Cody blocked with his arm and dashed forward. He grabbed her and hit her with two strong knees to the gut before lifting her up and throwing her over and harshly onto her back.

Chun-Li ignored the pain and rolled herself up and back onto her feet. Cody had already started moving in hoping to keep his advantage up. Seeing this she quickly launched a kikoken. The ki blast catching Cody by surprise caused him to halt his advance. She moved and followed up with her hyakuretsukyaku attack. She landed a flurry of kicks with one leg before quickly switching to the other and repeating. Noticing that Travers was reeling she quickly closed in, grabbed him by the head, and hoisted herself up, legs pointing straight up. Spinning as she did and threw herself with all her momentum down. Connecting with a powerful kick to the back of his head. Cody flew forward and landed on his front. He pushed himself back up onto his feet, but it was clear Chun-Li's hits had taken their toll.

"Surrender Cody, you can't win this fight!" The Interpol agent barked.

"Not a damn chance!" Cody grit his teeth. "The longer I can keep you busy, the better chance my son has."

They closed the gap between each other, and Chun-Li sent a mid-kick. Travers managed to sidestep and kept going forward. He brought his hand up and together and swung them down harshly against Chun-Li's head and then followed it up with his hammer kick. She coughed from the pain of the kick but kept her focus as Cody tried to follow up. She went low and threw her legs up and outward twisting rapidly as she did. Her spinning bird kick connect and he fell backward and struggled as he stood back up. Seeing her chance to win, Chun-Li didn't waste a moment as she moved in to end the fight.

"I'll finish this!" She exclaimed and used her hoyokusen attack. She moved and landed a harsh kick to Cody's chest, then quickly switched to her other leg. Hitting with a powerful and rapid display of kicks. Then twisting around using all the strength and momentum she could muster. She landed a devasting kick to his jaw that launched him clean into the air and crashed to the ground.

"I'm sorry things had to be this way and I don't blame you for doing this, Cody." She said more to herself as Travers was out cold, Lucia already attending to him. "I'll do what I can for your son, I promise." Taking a quick moment to catch her breath, she pulled out her phone. Checking the coordinates Cammy sent her. She furrowed her brows; it was a pretty good distance from her current position. Never mind the fact she didn't even know Metro City's layout that much to begin with. Though Cammy would have Junsu secure by the time she arrived anyways, she was sure. Though that begged an interesting question.

Why did she have such a feeling of dread suddenly course through her body?

XxX

"Cammy here, target located and making approach to capture. Sending you the coordinates."

"Understood, I'll rendezvous as soon as possible," Chun-Li replied over the radio.

The Delta Red operative immediately figured that Cody must be giving her a fight. She wasn't worried about her best friend, Chun-Li was more than capable of handling him. No doubt Cody was rusty since he was so busy with being mayor and fatherhood. Speaking of which she still almost couldn't believe the situation.

Juri having a kid was something she never thought she would hear. She honestly had nothing against the boy in question. As much as Cammy could care less about Han herself. She wasn't petty enough to project her grievances against Juri onto her son. Frankly, she felt pity for the boy. His situation reminded her a little bit of her and her sisters in a way. That said she had her mission, and she would see it done. Hopefully, by peaceful means, but she wouldn't hesitate to use force if needed. Granted, the idea of beating down a running scared teenager left a rather foul taste in her mouth. Just another thing to wash down with a drink at the pub, when it was all said and done with.

Her target was making his way down a deserted back alley, thankfully the buildings were short enough. She could fly low enough to put her jet on auto-pilot, jump out and land safely at her target's location. Bringing her jet as low as she could putting it in hover mode. She kicked on the auto-pilot, popped the cockpit open, and jumped out. Landing with the grace of a cat directly in front of her mark. As the jet's cockpit closed back up and the auto-pilot made the aircraft fly away back to its base of origin.

She stared down the teen question, who had a dumbstruck expression from what had just happened. Goodness, the boy really was the spitting image of Juri in almost every way.

"Junsu Travers, I must ask you to surrender yourself and come quietly with me," Cammy stated calmly.

Junsu's face scrunched up in an aggravated expression before practically growling out his response. "Just who are you? Weirdly dressed British sounding lady, who just dropped out of the freaking sky on me."

One of Cammy's eyebrows scrunched in slight annoyance at his response. "Firstly, my name is Cammy with Delta Red, United Kingdom. Secondly, I am not weirdly dressed, this is my standard combat attire."

Junsu raised an eyebrow in disbelief at that remark as he looked at her. Tight green-colored leotard, black boots, red fingerless gloves, red beret, gun holster on her right leg, and blond hair in a pair of long pigtails with some strands going down the middle of her face. "No offense lady, but you look more like a stripper with a military kink than some sort of soldier."

One of Cammy's eyebrows twitched noticeably in annoyance from the flippant response. Perhaps she won't feel so bad about potentially beating up the teenager after all? "I'll say again, surrender and come quietly!" She ordered, "I will take you by force if I must!"

Junsu's expression took a more serious expression, no way he was doing that. He put his right foot in a pointed forward position. Just the ball of the foot is on the ground, his heel lifted five inches. Very little weight is on the front foot. His rear foot is flat on the floor. Pointed thirty degrees outward shifting his body weight on the rear leg. Putting himself in his tiger stance making his intentions clear. "Then by force, it's going to have to be."

Cammy narrowed her eyes, and she then took her own stance. "So be it then."

Nothing was said, no one moved for a moment. Then they both took off at the other.

They closed in and Junsu dropped slightly and swung out an elbow. Cammy sidestepped and quickly shot out with a kick catching the teen hard in the side of the face. Junsu quickly realized that while she was clearly strong. Cammy could hit even harder than she looked. The purple-eyed teen realized that clearly, she was on a higher level compared to anyone he's fought before. To win this he would have to fight the hardest he ever has. Making a quick jump back for the distance he took his stance again and moved.

Cammy jumped up and forward aiming to drop a kick on him. Waiting to the last moment, Junsu shifted and twisted, rotating his body bringing his rear leg up at an angle with full momentum. Cammy's strike just missed, while his kick connected with an audible smack to the side of her face. Cammy fell to the ground and rolled quickly back onto her feet. She shifted her jaw a bit before spitting out a glob of blood. Her eyes narrowed as she shifted and shot forward faster than Junsu had ever seen anyone do before.

He barely had time to ready himself defensively before he was being assaulted by a fierceness he had never encountered in his life. Cammy was relentless with her kicks and punches. High, low, and mid in a rapid-fire manner, it was taking every little bit he had to dodge and block her.

Cammy for her part was a bit annoyed that he was managing to block and dodge her, even if it was by the thinnest margins. Though she also couldn't help but feel rather impressed at the same time. Against a lesser fighter, some of her blows would've connected solidly for sure by now. Made all the more impressive by the fact he was a young teenager. Still, he could only keep it up for so long. Something was going to slip through soon enough.

Then it happened.

Going for her axel spin knuckle she twisted rapidly around Junsu and connected with a harsh elbow to his gut knocking him off balance. Not wanting to waste her opportunity Cammy then went for her delta drive. Jumping slightly into the air and shot forward in a twisting manner. Feet first, yellow ki swirling around her as she did. She connected drilling into him, and she landed behind him she repeated the process into his back. Then followed up by swinging her outside leg in a rapidly spinning succession of roundhouse kicks. Cammy landed gracefully on her feet, while Junsu landed like a rag doll.

"That should do it," Cammy muttered but was genuinely surprised as the young man got back onto his feet. He was clearly feeling the pain, but he forced himself to ignore it. He went back into his stance, the fire in his eyes to keep fighting clearly there.

"I respected your determination, but please just surrender. I don't want to have to hurt you more than I already have." Cammy said with a pleading look and tone of voice.

Junsu stared intently at the British soldier keeping his stance. "Sorry, but if you want me, you'll have to knock me out."

Cammy let out a deep sigh before staring at the teen regretfully. "Then I'm sorry for this." She spoke sincerely before shooting forward and once she got within a proper distance. She jumped into the air at a downward angle face first and her knees bent behind her.

"Operation! Start!"

XxX

Junsu wasn't entirely sure what happened next. One second he saw Cammy jump into the air, and he prepared himself for whatever she was planning. Then she shot towards him, mid-air like a bullet out of a gun. Next thing he knew he was being rag dolled through the air all around, from every angle it appeared. Then he seemingly floated in the air before the hardest kick he's felt in his life drilled him in the back. The next thing he knew, he crashed unceremoniously to the ground on his back. He hurt. Everywhere. Amazingly nothing felt broken but couldn't move at the moment. His body was in a weird state of shock and pain currently from Cammy's move.

"Dammit, it all!" Junsu growled mentally in frustration. "This can't go down like this! So many are putting their necks out for me; I can't let what they're doing be for nothing!" The sensation from earlier in the day returned, though he failed to recognize it in his current state. As his frustration grew even further in his mind. "I can't be stopped here! Not like this! Not to her! Not to anyone! I REFUSE!"

Then everything around him faded away to black, red, and purple once more.

XxX

"I hate that it had to go this far," Cammy said with remorse looking at the beaten teen unconscious on the ground. She was about to radio in an ambulance and update Chun-Li. Then something happened that froze her in place and made her blood run cold.

Junsu suddenly jumped up from position onto his feet as if he wasn't hurt at all. There was dark purple ki flickering around his body but what was truly chilling was his eye. His left eye glowed intensely in the same color as that power and his expression was like that of a hungry predator. That had found the right prey to sate its hunger.

Junsu suddenly rocketed forward with insane speed. Cammy was caught completely off guard. The next thing she knew, his knee was buried in her gut. Her eyes bulged outward and her went mouth opened. As she dry-heaved from all the air in her lungs suddenly was knocked out. Junsu spun with a high kick charged with ki while Cammy was stunned on her feet. It connected to her upper right arm with a small boom. Cammy skidded across the ground, yelling in agony as she did. The strike completely broke the humerus bone in her arm, rendering it useless.

Cammy gritted her teeth and made her way back onto her feet, her right arm now hanging limply. "How the hell is this possible?" She spoke in-between pained breaths. "He's not even the same person anymore and that power. He's...he's somehow hitting even harder than Juri ever did."

"What's wrong, girly?" Junsu spoke in a mocking tone. "Gonna break on me already?" His eyes narrowed slightly, and he licked his lips slowly and hungrily. Then said in a low dangerous tone. "No matter, I'll feast on you and get my fill all the same." His eye glowed again and ki radiated once more from his body. A cheshire-like grin spread across his face, he craned his head back and laughed like a mad man.

Junsu blitzed forward, Ki channeled into his legs, he shot a kick forward and drilled it in her chest. Cammy felt her ribs break as she flew backward and into the alley wall. Then before she could even fall. Junsu closed the gap and bent down slightly, twisting around so his back was to her, and with a ki-empowered arm. Planted an elbow viciously into her gut. The last time Cammy was hit in such a manner, was when she fought Juri in that plane in the tundra.

Cammy fell to her knees; she could feel blood trickling down from her mouth. She was slumped back first against the wall it was the only thing keeping her from falling all the way. Her vision was hazy, and her breathing was raspy. Junsu looked at her still fueled by the Feng Shui power. He barked out a mocking laugh and he looked down on her.

"My, my, aren't you quite the mess? Pity you were such a pretty thing too. Oh well, I suppose that does it?" He spoke darkly before he turned around like he was about to walk away. Then he stopped and looked at her from over his shoulder. "It would be cruel to leave you here like this for who knows how long." His eye glowed as he then charged his ki once more and struck.

The last thing Cammy saw was a ki-infused kick coming right at her and then everything went dark.

Junsu suddenly awoke from his blackout state, his body still hurt, and he was soaked with sweat. He looked around and noticed he was by himself; he wasn't even in the place he was fighting. He must have beaten or escaped that Cammy woman while blacked out. What did happen exactly when he was blacked out? He couldn't remember a damn thing but quickly pushed those thoughts away. He had to keep focused on linking up with the others. Thankfully he had kept moving in the right direction while blacked out. Soon enough, he arrived and saw his Aunt Poison and Roxy waiting outside. Parked by them looked to be one of those large package delivery trucks but with tinted windows.

"Holy shit, what happened to you!?" Poison immediately questioned when she saw him.

"Ran into unwanted trouble." He quickly explained what happened.

"Damn, no time to waste then. Roxy, you drive." Poison said as she led him into the back of the truck. She closed it up and sat in the back with him. He could feel the truck begin to move.

"Any idea what's going on with my dad?" Junsu asked, hoping for some kind of good news. Poison simply shook her head, and he took some deep breaths trying to keep his emotions. "So, how're you all getting me out?" He questioned wanting to change the subject.

"We're smuggling you out on one of those massive cargo jet aircraft. You'll be traveling in a container already fully stocked for the travel and for when you arrive where you're going. By the time anyone realizes you're out of the city, you won't even be in the country anymore. We got plenty of old friends on the inside of various things, everything is all set up and ready to go."

Junsu was so surprised by the plan that he momentary forgot the other stuff happening. "That's pretty impressive actually, where did you manage to get me sent by chance?"

Poison smirked before she answered. "You'll be touching down in Thailand and from there. Our contacts will take you to the branch of the Mad Gear Gang in a city called Roanapur. Long story short you'll be able to hide in plain sight in such a city and any feds will find it hard to reach you. If they somehow manage to locate you, to begin with. Which is very unlikely, any lawman that isn't corrupt tends to steer very clear of that city."

"That rough of a place?"

"Even worse than what Metro was at its lowest and that's saying a lot."

"I see," Junsu replied, and they traveled for a few minutes in silence. "Thank you for everything, really, all of you, I mean that. You're all taking a huge risk for me." He stated breaking the silence. He then felt Poison wrap his arms around him in a hug.

"This's far from our first rodeo dealing with the law. Besides, it's well worth the risk for you. Why don't you get some rest? We have a bit of a trip to the airfield, you could use it."

Junsu didn't bother arguing that point, despite everything. He felt so sore and exhausted he was on the verge of passing out as it was. Laying himself down, he was snoring within minutes.

Chun-Li was frustrated it had taken her longer than she liked to reach the coordinates Cammy sent her. It didn't help her feeling of dread was getting worse as she got closer. She finally rounded the turn and made her destination. She scanned the area and then saw something that made her stomach knot up. She saw Cammy laid out on the ground face down and her back to her. Chun-Li quickly moved to her and dropped to her knees. She carefully rolled Cammy over onto her back to check on her. She gasped at what she saw, her hands began to tremble, and tears immediately built up in her eyes.

Cammy's eyes were wide open, showing their light blue color. Except, they were devoid of any life.

Cammy was dead.

A/N: Yep, I went there. Apologies to anyone reading this who are Cammy mains. Also yes, it's that Roanapur, not turning into a full-blown cross-over really. I just thought it would be a fun setting, to make use of within this story at least for an arc of sorts. In a way it kind of fits well within the craziness of the SF universe. I admit it was interesting doing the fights. Since videos are showing off all the moves and how they work clearly. Hopefully, I managed to flow the fights well enough.
