A/N: Dedicated to the late and great Olivia Newton-John.

Danny looked out the old photos. Tears welled up behind his eyes. Those summer nights felt like they happened a hundred years ago. It had been years since he last held the love of his life in his arms.

He collapsed to his knees when he got the phone call. He didn't leave his room for so long. It took Kenickie and Roger to pull him out of his slump. Danny remembered he still had a little girl who needed her daddy.

"Daddy?" the four-year-old asked. Danny looked down. Emily was an almost direct copy of her mother. However, she had his eyes. As she grew, Danny felt like Sandy never left him. "Who is that?"

Emily pointed to a photo of Sandy, and Danny felt butterflies in his stomach. The photo was taken on their wedding day, the happiest day of Danny's life. Sandy looked beautiful in her white gown with embroidered lace. Danny thought she never looked prettier.

"That's your mommy," Danny responded.

"Where is my mommy now?" Emily asked.

"She had to go away, but she's always with you," Danny promised. He never pictured himself in domestic life. However, Sandy changed him. People always thought he changed her, but truthfully, it was the other way around.

She might have dressed differently, but she was always Sandy. "How did you and mommy meet?" Emily asked.

Danny sat his little girl in his lap. "Well, it all started one summer night," Danny began.
