Hello, welcome to this new Total Drama fanfic, I hope you enjoy it.
A few things I need to mention about this fan fiction before we start. This season takes place after The Redonculous Race, which will explain some things in the fanfic later on.
This season is canonically the 7th season of the main show but it's the 8th season of the overall series.
The reason why the returning contestants have some changes weather outfits or hairstyles is to show how much has changed over time before this season took place, hope that's not a problem with anyone.
Total Drama is back and better than ever with 28 contestants competing this year for the million dollar prize, who's got what it takes?.
Chris McLean was smiling from ear to ear as the camera was rolling, he was in the middle of a campsite on an island with a giant mountain in the background which had the face of the handsome host at the very top. The host wasn't in his usual outfit, instead he was wearing a red Hawaiian shirt with multiple faces of Chris around the front and back of the shirt, he was also wearing brown cargo shorts and some very comfortable sandals.
"Hello again Total Drama fans, No your eyes don't need to be checked, Total Drama is back and as you can see I've dressed up for the occasion." McLean grins as he shows off his new outfit to the camera.
"But not only am I back, but Chef is back again as my right hand man, also returning are the lovable campers who will be fighting for that sweet million bucks."
Chef Hatchet glared at the host from the entrance to the new mess hall, it was built like a tiki bar with bamboo all around it. They never pay him enough for this show.
"And because I wanted to make this the biggest season ever." McLean paused for a dramatic effect "We've brought in some fans who we thought would be perfect for the season."
Chris then smirks as a boat pulls into the docks just off the beach and the host gestures the camera to follow him down to the docks to meet the contestants.
"First up is the Cadet, Brick McArthur." Chris says as he salutes the solder who was walking down to the host.
Brick was wearing a green tank top along with a chain, he was wearing some camo pants along with his combat boots. His black hair was in a military buzz cut and he was carrying a duffel bag.
"Brick McArthur reporting for duty once again." Brick grins, giving the host a salute.
McLean smiles at the cadet and points to the right side of the docks "Please go report to the right side of the dock, solder."
"Sir yes sir!." Brick walks over to the right side of the dock and sets down his duffel bag.
The next contestant walks off the boat and greets Chris at the dock.
"And coming back for her third season, Is the surfer chick, Bridgette!." Chris opens his arms for a hug as Bridgette walks down to the docks.
The surfer girl was wearing her cyan blue hoodie, her jean shorts and brown flip-flops. Her hair was the same as it was when she was on the show.
"Hey Chris." The surfer smiles and actually hugs the host leaving Chef, Brick and the interns shocked.
"How's it feel?. Finally getting back into the game again must be so much better than hosting some lame aftermath show." Chris grins expecting Bridgette's answer to be good.
"Well being a co-host with Geoff was fun...and challenging at times, I want to win this year for me and my Geoffy-poo." The surfer grins and Chris sighs.
"How sweet..." Chris says in bored tone while checking his watch. "Go stand on the left side please."
Bridgette walks over to the left side and sees Brick.
"Hey, I'm Bridgette, nice to see a new face competing."
Brick salutes the surfer "Brick McArthur, may the best team win Bridgette."
"Well isn't this nice...how much you want to bet that niceness will last after the first few days?." Chris whispers to the camera guy who holds up five dollars.
The next contestant steps onto the docks and looks around at the new island.
"Duncan my man, great to see you back!." The host smirks as Duncan gives him a death glare, the delinquent still had his signature green Mohawk but was wearing a leather jacket and a black tank top underneath it, the tank top showed a skull and crossbones, he was wearing his blue shorts and red shoes.
"Bite me." The delinquent coldly said as he walked past the host and stood next to Bridgette.
"Ooh looks like someone's upset about coming back." McLean chuckles as the next contestant walks up to the host. "And next up for the fans team, it's the indie girl, also known as Mike's girlfriend, Zoey!."
Zoey was still wearing her red top and pale brown leggings, she still had the pink flower in her hair, but her hair was slightly longer, going down just past her shoulders.
"Hey Chris it's been so long." The indie girl smiles but then stops and looks at what the host is wearing.
"I noticed you saw my stylish new shirt for the season, isn't it awesome!." The host with the most smiles proudly.
"Yeah, it's...so stylish." Zoey rubs the back of her neck looking at the many faces of McLean on the red shirt.
"Go join Brick on the right side of the-" Chris gets interrupted when Zoey runs over to Brick.
"Hey Brick, looks like we are on the same team again." Zoey smiles to the solder who nods.
"Affirmative Zoey, welcome back to the team." The solder grins.
The indie girl looks over at the other team and sees Duncan and Bridgette.
"Hey Duncan, nice Jacket." The indie girl says looking at the delinquent and the surfer girl who gives her a smile.
"Yeah, I like it, feels comfortable." Duncan smirks at the redhead as the next boat pulls in.
"And for our next favorite, put your hands together for her hotness herself, Lindsay!." Chris says as Lindsay walks down the dock.
Lindsay was wearing a white bandanna instead of her usual blue one, she was also wearing a white tank top and pants along with high heels.
"Hi Kyle!. It's been so long since we've last met." The blonde says to the host who gives her a shocked expression.
"Lindsay it's me, Chris, you've been on this show for four seasons and still don't remember my name?." The host says in a hurtful tone.
Lindsay scratches her head while looking at Chris. "Are you sure?. Because I swear your name was Ky-"
"Never mind Lindsay." The host interrupts the blonde and points over to where Duncan and Bridgette are standing "Just go over to the left side of the docks."
Lindsay waves to her her teammates and joins them. "Hey Bridgette, Hey Duncan." Lindsay smiles and Chris once again makes a shocking expression.
"How does she remember them but not the greatest host in the world!." Chris looks at the camera guy for an answer but he just shrugs.
The boat honks it's horn and Chris turns around smiling.
"And next up for the fans, please welcome back revenge of the island contestant and rival of Brick, Jo."
Jo was wearing the same outfit from the forth and fifth season (grey hoodie and sweat pants) she didn't look happy looking around at the new island and her teammates.
"What is this some kind of joke?." The jockette complained to the host. "I want some real competition in this season McLean."
The host just chuckled at the girl. "Oh don't worry, you'll get it." Said Chris who began chuckling again but stopped.
Joe went to the side with Brick and Zoey.
"Joe, welcome to the team." The cadet held out his hand for Joe to shake but Joe grabbed the solder's hand and squeezed it hard making Brick's hand turn red.
"No, welcome to MY team." The jock gave a devilish grin as Brick winced a bit.
"That wasn't nice, Joe." Zoey frowns at Joe who lets go of Brick's hand.
"Save it flower girl, you and Sargent drip-drip better not get in my way this time."
Chris gave a big smile as he saw what was unfolding.
"Ah, somethings just never change." He looked at the boat and out walked the next favorite contestant.
"And next for our favorites, the queen bee of Total Drama herself, Heather!."
Heather was walking with a grin on her face, this time her hair was back to what it was in season one, she was more toned this season and was wearing her famous red top and short shorts.
"Hello Heather, nice to see your hair has finally grown back." The host flashed a smile at the queen bee who just walked right by him.
"Yes, I intend to keep it that way, so if you think about shaving it again, I'll sue you faster than yo-"
"Alright, Just go stand with the other favorites. I was just trying to complement you." Chris says in annoyed tone as Heather joins the favorites.
"Our next member for the fans team is the cocky athlete, Lightning!."
Lightning was wearing his blue jersey with the number 1, his green shorts, Lightning necklace and white shoes. The athlete leaped off the boat onto the dock and raised his arms in the air.
"Sha-Lightning is back baby!." Lightning says as heads over to his team.
"Oh great..." Joe rolls her eyes as the male jock joins his team with a cocky grin on his face.
"Don't worry everyone, the lightning is here so we already win this thing, sha-bam!." Lightning hits a pose flexing his arms.
"And next for the favorites, the Spanish charmer himself, Alejandro." The host says as Alejandro walks down the docks giving the girls a little wink.
"Hola Chris, nice to see you again." Alejandro says with a grin on his face, he was more buff than the last time he was on the show, his long brown hair, soul patch were the same but he was wearing his red shirt but no white undershirt showing his abs off to everyone, he still had his black pants and boots.
"Go stand with your team Alejandro." Chris says as the Spaniard heads to his team he flashes a wink at Heather who turns her head away from him.
"Hehe, guess she doesn't enjoy his company anymore." Chris smiles looking at the tension between the former lovers.
"And representing the fans team, a new competitor from the ridonculous race season, the male ice skater, Jacques!."
The blonde ice skater did a perfect flip off the boat and landed it before smiling and waving to the camera, he was wearing his pink ice skating outfit just like in the previous season.
"Hello Chris, I'm here to preform and win in style." Jacques gives the host a fabulous smile.
Jacques walks over the fans team and Duncan shakes his head.
"Next for the favorites team, the fart machine himself, Owen!."
Owen runs down the docks causing them to shake and instead of giving Chris a high-five, he gives him the biggest hug anyone has ever seen.
"Chris!. I can't believe this is real!." Owen says as he starts jumping up and down with joy.
"Owen...can't breathe." Chris gasps in between small breaths trying to get air back into his lungs.
"Sorry man, I'm so happy to be back on the show!." Owen let's the host down and he fixes up his shirt.
"Just go stand with your team please." Chris continues to fix his shirt and hair as Owen heads over to his team.
"Hi Chris." The next contestant says as they walk down the dock rolling their suitcase.
"You May know this girl from her time in the ridonculous race, Sister of Emma, Kitty!."
Kitty was the same as she was on the spin-off show, with her t-shirt, black skirt and leggings.
"Will there be racing in this season?." The selfie girl asks the host.
"Nope, you'll be competing on this island and this island only." The host grins.
"Well that's a relief-" Kitty drops her things as she sees a former friend from the spin off show.
"Owen!." Kitty runs up giving the big guy a hug.
"Hey Kitty, good to see you again. Where's Emma?." Owen asks as looks at the next boat coming into the docks.
"She's with Noah on some new reality show, I have no idea what it's about but I hope she can win her show and I can win this show-"
"We'll see about that." Chris interrupts the hug between Owen and Kitty and welcomes the next favorite down.
"And for the favorites, you know her, one of loves her, the C.I.T, Courtney!."
Courtney had a proud look on her face as she walked down the docks, she wasn't wearing her usual attire, this season she was wearing more professional clothing. A green shirt with blue jeans and grey slip on shoes.
"Why did I decide to come back on this show?." Courtney thought as she walked up the docks looking around seeing a bunch of faces, some familiar and others completely new.
"Go stand with the favorites team please." Chris points as the L.I.T walks next to her team and stands away from Duncan.
"Next for the fans, It's the former Multiple Mike!." Said Chris before Zoey sprints past the host and runs into Mike's arms.
Mike was still wearing his blue shirt and jeans along with his white shoes but he looked more muscular than he was in all-stars.
"Oh Mike, I've missed you so much!." The redhead squeals as she kisses her boyfriend on the cheek.
"Zoey...it was only ten minutes." Mike blushes as the indie girl takes his hand in hers and leads him to the fans team.
"Next for the favorites, The creepy aura reader and nature lover, Dawn!." The host says as Dawn appears behind him.
"Greetings Chris, I hope you won't be harming any animals on this island." The aura reader gives the host a glare and Chris puts his hands up.
"Relax Dawn, no animals will be harmed...yet, now go join your team."
Dawn sighs and heads over to her team, she was easily the smallest one on the favorites.
"Next up for the fans, the shark-fearing farmer, Scott!."
Scott has a smug grin on his face as he walked down the docks, the dirt boy was wearing his white tank top and blue jeans but was wearing a flannel shirt over the tank top, he has an orange goatee now but his hair is the same way it's always been.
"Nice try Chris, but I ain't scared of sharks no more, so you'll have to try better than that at scaring me."
Chris frowns.
"Really, not even a little bit scared?."
Scott shakes his head and Chris sighs.
"Well Scott, just go join the fans team."
Scott smirks as he walks past each of his teammates before standing at the end.
"Next for the favorites, the hotheaded, Eva!." McLean says as Eva storms down the docks looking pissed.
"Eva welcome back to Total Drama for a second season!." Said but Eva walks past him heading for one member of the favorites. Eva was wearing her purple outfit and black shoes she wore in island and her hair is still the same style.
"Hello again Eva." Bridgette says with a trembling voice.
"It's going to be a long season for you, traitor!." Eva glares at the surfer before standing by Alejandro.
"Everyone put your hands together for a returning favorite, Tyler!."
Tyler was wearing his red tracksuit with his white undershirt and headband along with his white sneakers, he did a trick on the boat but hit the railing of it and fell into the water.
"TYLER!." Lindsay screams as she ran towards the edge of the dock, Brick threw off his shades and dove into the water quickly bringing Tyler onto the dock.
"Hahaha, that was awesome Tyler!." Chris laughed as Brick retuned to his team with a smile on his face.
"Thank you." Tyler says to the cadet who saluted.
"Just doing my duty, sir!."
"And for the fans team, The Aussie Explorer, Jasmine!."
Jasmine lands a perfect flip and tips her hat.
"Gooday, Chris, hopefully this time the island won't try to kill us."
Chris laughs for a few seconds before stopping making everyone uncomfortable.
"Don't worry Jasmine, this island is one hundred percent robot free."
Jasmine sighs of relief. "That's good to know."
Jasmine joins the fans team and stands at the end of the docks.
"Next up for the favorites, The bubble boy, Cameron."
Cameron was struggling a bit with carrying his things luckily Zoey and Mike were there to help him.
"Greetings Chris, I must say that outfit of yours is really something." The nerd says adjusting his glasses.
"I know right, doesn't it look good?." Chris beams.
"Y-Yes, of course, hehe." Cameron nervously says trying to hold a laugh in as he heads over to the favorites team.
"Wait, why isn't Cameron on the fans team?." Zoey asks seeing her friend go to the other side.
"Because we wanted to change up the way we do the teams and driving Cameron away from you and Mike would be so much fun." Chris replies smirking at the indie girl who crosses her arms.
"Everyone give a warm welcome to the twins, Samey and Amy!."
Both twins were coming of the docks at the same time, Samey looked happy and Amy did not.
"Move it, Samey!." Amy pushes her sister and stands in front of Chris making Samey glare.
"Greetings Amy, Samey, welcome to-" Chris was interrupted by the other twin.
"My name is Sammy, as in Samantha, not Samey!."
Chris nods and points to the fans side.
"Go stand with the other fans then girls."
Both twins glare at each other before heading to the fans team, Samey stood by Jasmine and Amy stood by Joe.
"And for the favorites, our resident SIMP himself, Cody!."
Cody was wearing the same outfit he did in world tour, his sweater and his white undershirt along with his blue jeans and brown shoes.
"Welcome back Cody!." McLean makes fingers guns at the codmiester who smiles.
"Hello Chris...and hello ladies." Cody says looking at all the girls but his smile turns into a frown.
"Hey, where's Gwen?." Cody turns to the host who sighs.
"Just go to your team Cody."
Cody frowns and heads over to his team standing next to Owen who pats his back.
"Next up for the favorites is Zombie Freak, Shawn!."
Shawn was wearing his green, orange vest with the white undershirt and jeans along with his boots, he was happy to see his girlfriend was also here.
"Hey Shawn, how's the zombie hunting going?." The host folds his arms as Shawn checks under the dock.
"So far I haven't found anything but I'm so close to finding proof."
"Good luck with that." The host says. "Go join the favorites team. Hope you don't mind competition against your girlfriend again."
Shawn frowns and looks at Jasmine who also frowns and the zombie hunter go over to his team.
"And for the next favorite, a man with the best taste in both fashion and hosts, Topher!."
The host wannabe was wearing the same attire Chris wore back in seasons 1-6. He stopped as he saw The host with a new look.
"Chris, why did you change you iconic look?." Topher was shocked Chris was wearing a Hawaiian shirt.
"Because Topher, I've changed up my style a bit and people love the outfit!." Chris smiles as some contestants try to hold back laughter.
"It suits you." Topher smiles.
"Thank you Topher, go join the other favorites." Chris winks to the host wannabe who joins the other favorites.
"For the next favorite, welcome the evil Max!."
Max was wearing his grey shirt and pants along with his shoes and his purple hair was the same as in pahkitew island.
"Finally this time EVIL will prevail!." Max says before coughing mid-way through and evil laugh.
"We'll see about that." Chris says to the camera and looks back at the evil genius. "Go stand by the favorites."
Max joins the favorites team and stands by Owen.
"And for our final favorite, please put your hands together for, Gwen!."
The former goth had a completely new look, her hair was now brown and she had on dark blue vest over a black undershirt and black leggings with black boots.
"Gwen?...you look different." Chris was shocked by Gwen's change in appearance.
"So do you Chris, in fact you look way older." Gwen folds her arms at the host.
"I'm not even thirty!." McLean replies before Gwen walks over to the favorites team standing besides Cody who smiles madly.
"Like the new look, Gwen." The brunette says to the former goth who looks at him and smiles.
"Thanks, it's nice to have a change." Gwen smiles at the brunette.
"And the next fan, the future olympic champion, Sky!."
Sky did a front flip off the boat and landed it like a pro, she was wearing her yellow shirt and black pants, her hair was the same way it was in pahkitew island and she was more buff than before.
"Alright here's the best part." Chris says waggling his eyebrows as he turns around to see the boat leave and another pulls in, on the side of the boat there was a label that read the words fresh meat on it.
"Um Chris, what is this?." Courtney asked pointing towards the boat in front of them.
"This Courtney is your competition, you see while we were preparing for the season, we thought it would be a good idea to bring in some fans who are ready to prove or humiliate themselves by competing alongside some of Total Drama's best." Chris smiles as the first new contestant comes down the docks.
The first new contestant was tall and buff, he was jacked to the gills.
"This man right here everyone is three time Total Action Wrestling world champion, Johnny Lee!." Chris introduces the new camper who smiles seeing his team and opponents.
Johnny had on a green baseball cap that had a yellow brim on it, and a green tank top which showed his abs on the center of the tank top was a silhouette of a man lifting up weights with three words under it reading "Outwit, Outthink, Outperform." from left to right, on his right shoulder he wore a green armband which had the initials J.L. In yellow, on his wrists were the same type of armbands but on the right wrist it was green and on the left wrist it was yellow. Johnny was also wearing blue Jean shorts or jorts and black sneakers with white socks.
"Thanks for the introduction McLean." Johnny smiles at the host who nods.
"Don't mention it, sorry you lost the belt again due to an injury."
Johnny shrugs and takes off his ballcap to glide his hand over his brown hair before readjusting his cap back on his head.
"Don't worry, I'll get it back. Also it was a fracture not and injury, I had to be written off tv to come do this."
Johnny heads over to the fans team and nods.
The next newcomer was short and thin, he's easily one of shortest ones there, his short brown hair is parted over to the right side and he had a mustache that was brown, he was wearing a blue shirt with a Nintendo Switch with green and pink joycons in the middle of it, blue shorts and grey shoes.
"Next new fish up, is the gamer child Nick." The host says making finger guns at the newbie who returns the finger guns and smiles.
"Hey Chris, nice to finally see you in person." The gamer smirks.
"I know right, it's a true blessing." The host flashes a smile at the newbie making everyone roll their eyes. "Go join the fans team Nick."
"You got it." Nick says before grinning at his team "Hey, hope we can all be friends here."
"Of course we can." Another contestant says heading down the docks rolling her luggage down with her.
"Everyone this is Jessica, the gymnast."
Jessica was in great shape, her long blonde hair went down to her black and her blue eyes were sparkling like the water, she was wearing a light blue tank top with the same color yoga pants along with some red sneakers.
"Hi Chris, I'm ready to kick butt and take names." The gymnast smirked at the host before looking at her team.
"Love the spirit Jessica, go join the fans team." Said Chris who smirks as the girl heads over to her team standing next to Nick. Jessica was very tall compared to Nick, Johnny was the tallest one of the new guys but Jessica was up to his shoulders in height while Nick was basically Cameron's height but taller by a few inches.
"And finally for our last fan...Arthur."
Arthur was a strong cowboy, he was wearing a black cowboy hat, a dusty brown jacket with a white ranching shirt, dusty black pants and black cowboy boots with silver spurs, he was wearing black riding gloves and in his right hand was a bandanna with a skull and crossbones on it.
"Greetings Arthur, welcome to Total Drama." The host says and Arthur takes out a cigarette and starts smocking it.
"McLean." Arthur takes a puff of the cigarette blowing out a cloud of smoke before looking at the two teams.
"Go join the fans team and put the cigarette out." McLean points to the right side of the docks and Arthur nods, dropping the cigarette onto the dock before squishing it with his boot.
"Oh I like him." Scott says to Joe who nods as Arthur joins the rest of the newbies at the far end of the docks.
"Alright guys now that everything is out of the way...I welcome you all to Total Drama: Tropical Island!." Chris says with an exciting grin on his face.
"How is this an island?. Looks like my ranch back home." Arthur looks around the island seeing what nobody else was seeing.
"Well Arthur, does your ranch have an active volcano!." Chris replies causing everyone to turn around and see a giant volcano with a large Chris face carved out of it at the top.
"That my friends is Gianto Chris, the greatest volcano ever!." The host grins as everyone rolls their eyes after hearing the name for the volcano.
"This island is one hundred percent robot proof, after they took over our last island, we were given an extra big budget for another season so I welcome you to Holokai Island, your home for the duration of the season."
"Really, that's what you called this place?." Heather folds her arms at the host who beams.
"Yes Heather, I know it's the greatest name ever!. Anyway, enough about the great names, time to talk about something more exciting." Chris says as two interns put up a screen behind Chris who turns it on a picture of the island comes on.
"Holokai Island was once a save place owned by a local Indian tribe known as the "Sewati" They would do many activities like hunt for bison, forage for fruits, play games, and other fun things. However one night, some Sewati tribe members went into the Coconut Forrest and never came out but what did come out of the Forrest was the white bison, a dangerous beast that pillaged the Sewati tribe, some of them survived the attack and left wooden carvings of the white bison all around the island in hoping the bison wouldn't attack it anymore."
Everyone was curious after hearing what Chris had just told them.
"What happened to the tribe after they made the carvings?." Alejandro asks raising his hand.
"Did they leave the island or stay here?." Courtney asks also raising a hand.
"What kind of food did they eat?." Owen asks raising both of his hands.
"I don't know, they disappeared, some say they moved, some say they died waiting for the bison to accept the carvings, others say the bison came back and ate the rest of them. It's anyones guess." Chris shrugs as the next slide shows both teams.
"These are your teams for the season, divided into favorites and fans amongst all four generations plus the new campers, each week you'll be competing in challenges like every other season, but we added in something different, there is a punishment for the losing team that will affect them in the next challenge, so you really want to win every challenge this time."
The teams whisper to each other and Chris turns to the next slide which shows the whole island from a top view.
"Here is the entire view of Holokai Island, Gianto Chris is in the back next to the Coconut Forrest which is also name to Coconut falls, the falls have a lot of water so animals can drink from the large river, from the Forrest you have Sewati beach and the tiki shack, this seasons mess hall ran by Chef Hatchet, you'll eat all your meals there so you don't have to go into the forrest for food in fact, you are not allowed to go into the Forrest at all, if you are caught in the Forrest, you will be punished!." As Chris finished his sentence a Lightning bolt was heard and it started to rain.
"Okay now for the team names, let's get through this quickly before it starts to come down on us hard!. Favorites you are the towering totems and Fans you guys are the Raging Rivers, your cabins are just up ahead in the center of the island so move fast if you want to stay dry before the first challenge." Chris walks off the docks along with the camera crew and the contestants grab their things and start running up the docks to the cabins, each team had two cabins, one for the boys and another for the girls, Courtney was the first one into the totems female cabin and quickly placed her bags on a top bunk.
"First one inside!-" Courtney says but stops after seeing Dawn was already inside.
"Wha-but I was- How did you get in here before me?." Courtney ask the aura reader who was mediating on a bottom bunk on a different bed.
"I used a shortcut I found on the docks." Dawn smiled.
Meanwhile on the boys side of the rivers. The boys were picking beds to sleep in.
"I call the top bunk!." Scott says putting his sack on the first bed.
Lightning quickly gets onto another top bunk.
"Lightning gets a top bunk because Lightning is always on top!."
"Guess I'll take the bottom." Arthur puts his bag under Scott's bunk and lies down on his bed, putting his hat over his eyes so he can get some sleep.
"I'll take a top bunk if it's not a problem." Nick looks at the other guys.
"I'll take the bottom under the gamer." Johnny pats Nick's back and putting his bag underneath the bottom bunk while Nick climbs up to the top bunk.
"I'll take the top bunk." Mike says and Brick quickly takes the bunk under his.
Jacques takes the bottom bunk under Lightning and all the guys now have their beds and stuff sorted out but for the girls in the Totems side, this things aren't going the same way.
"I have to take a top bunk!." Heather scowls at Gwen who was already on the bunk Heather wanted.
"Says who?." Gwen replies to the queen bee who flips her hair.
"Says me, I'm not sleeping on the bottom bunk, with the way these things are made the top bunk will crush the bottom bunk!."
"Girls, stop fighting, it's only been five minutes here." Bridgette says to the rivals who both look at her.
"You know something Bridgette, you are so right, sorry Gwen, you can have the top bunk." Heather smiles at the former goth who looks very confused as Heather puts her things under Bridgette's top bunk.
The door swings open and Eva enters the cabin, water dripping off her clothes.
"H-Hey Ava." Lindsay starts to say before Eva talks.
"Shut up, and it's Eva." The dark-haired gymnast puts her things in front of Heather's bunk.
"I want this bunk." Eva smirks as she looks at a frightened Bridgette.
"I already called dibs on this bunk Eva, but you can have the bunk under Lindsay if you want." Heather said not being phased by the buff gymnast who looks up at the blonde surfer.
"You got lucky surfer girl." Eva throws her stuff at the bunk under Lindsay and lays down on it and Bridgette lets out a quiet sigh of relief.
Confessional Bridgette:
"I have no idea what Heather was thinking but now I know I'm going to have to owe her something." Bridgette says looking at the camera with a worried look on her face.
Confessional Gwen:
The former goth was stern at the camera.
"Heather's planning something, I just know it, but it's probably got something to do with Bridgette, she didn't step in to help her out in Island like LeShawna and I did."
After everyone has gotten there beds everyone made their way down to the tiki shack and of course Owen was the first one there.
"Hello Chef, what's the food?." Owen says waiting to get his meal.
Chef Hatchet puts a pile of squid legs on Owen's tray.
"Raw Squid legs boy, enjoy your meal." Chef groans as Owen sits down at one of the tables.
Soon more people show up and start talking.
"So we already know who we are, but what about you guys?." Joe says stabbing her fork into one of the squid legs, none of the new guys wanted to speak.
"Hey Mr. Mustache, I asked you a question." Joe says to Nick who looks up from his tray.
"Well, my name is Nick, I'm a e-gamer, like Sam, I also am somewhat of an actor."
"You acted in movies?." Jessica asks cutting up a peices of one of her legs.
"Yeah, you know Odder Objects?(1)."
"I loved that show!." Jessica says before cutting off another piece of her squid. "But I stopped watching it a long while ago."
"Well I was Thomas." Nick smiled as Jessica looks at him.
"Thomas was my favorite character!." The blonde gymnast grinned at the gamer.
"Okay now what about you, big man." Joe said to the guy with the green ballcap and tank top.
"Names Johnny Lee, I'm a professional wrestler." Johnny says ripping off a squid leg with ease.
"Wow, I didn't know professor wrestlers looked like this." Joe said amazed by Johnny's form.
"I trained very hard to get like this, I love competing in the ring and I will enjoy competing here as well."
"You ever win any championships?." Mike asked.
"Three time world champion my friend, I would've gotten a forth time but I had to get written of tv to come here." Johnny takes a bite of his squid leg quickly swallowing it and ripping off another leg.
"That's awesome!." Zoey smiles at the wrestler who nods before being interrupted.
"My pa always told me wrestling was a sport for guys that don't know how to fight." A voice said at the end of the table.
The rivers all looked down to see Arthur puffing another cigarette while staring right at Johnny.
"Oh I know how to fight cowboy." Johnny replies as Arthur takes the cigarette out of his mouth.
"Can you?. Or do you have to hit me with a folding chair first to make it look like you can."
Johnny stares at Arthur not backing down.
"Why don't you take the cigarette out of your mouth, and join me outside and see if I can fight or not."
Nobody was talking from the rivers, everyone was looking at Arthur for a response.
"Where I'm from, we don't do wrestling, we do fist fights and brawls, you get scratched, you bleed, and sometimes you loose a finger, I have my scars friend." Arthur takes another puff of his cigarette and puts it out with his boot.
"Does anyone want to talk about something else?." Kitty asks trying to change the subject.
"Yeah, what other kinds of acting roles did you do Nick?," Jessica asked the mustache'd gamer who smiles.
"Well I played Fozzy the bear in Five nights at Fozzy's (2), Super Fernando in the Super Fernando games (3)-"
"Was that the electrician in a blue cap, blue shirt, yellow gloves and jeans with a tool belt who had to collect coins and run around a city?." Samey asks Nick who nods.
"That was my favorite game when I was younger." Jessica ripped a leg off her squid and ate it.
"Well I'm glad you like the games." Nick smiles at the gymnast who smiles back.
The rest of the campers were eating the squid legs when Chris came into the tiki shack with a grin on his face.
"Hey everyone, how's the squid?."
Nobody wanted to answer out of fear from Chef.
"Well I hope you like it because your first challenge starts in thirty minutes, so get eating, the more you scarf the more you might braf, haha!." Chris laughs as he leaves the shack with Chef following him and everyone looks around.
"What do you guys think the first challenge with be?." Cody asks pushing away his empty plate.
"I hope it's something that doesn't involve eating this squid." Heather pushes away her plate in disgust.
"So you won't eat it?." Owen asks before quickly inhaling the squid legs like a vacuum.
"Maybe the challenge we be one where we can sleep." Duncan groaned rubbing his eyes.
"I wouldn't mind that." Gwen also rubs her eyes.
"Well whatever it is amigos, we shall triumph over the rivers." Alejandro smiles while looking at his team.
All the totems look at each other and nod in agreement with the Spaniard.
Everyone was now on the beach in their swimsuits ready for the first challenge.
"Okay kiddies, who's excited for the first challenge of the season?." Chris asks and nobody looks happy.
"Fine don't say anything, It'll make the pain much more enjoyable for me." The host says before pointing to a lines in the sand.
"The challenge is simple, you'll get into pairs of two to race down to the lines of the beachtwo at a time, you'll then dig for a bag in the sand, if you find the bag you must get it over the white line where you are standing, the other team has to try and take you down but the teammate without the bag can try to help you get across, first team to score eight points win the challenge and the losers have to deal with a punishment next challenge as well as send someone home, you have ten minutes to decide who pairs with who and who goes in what order."
Both teams get into a huddle and try to decide who's going with who.
"Who wants to go first?." Courtney asks her team, she was wearing a lime green bikini and her hair was tied into a ponytail.
"I can do it if you want me to Princess." Duncan smiles to Courtney, wearing his blue shorts.
"I can do it as well señorita." Alejandro chimes in smiling, he was wearing a red speedo.
"Maybe we should save the strongest ones for last, give the losers false hope and say if it's a tie breaker, we have our strong players at the front." Bridgette suggests, Bridgette was wearing a bright blue two piece bikiniinstead of her wet suit.
"But what if we don't need them at the back because we are crushing them." Heather objects, she was wearing her red bikini.
"Okay, who's brave enough to go first?." Brick asks wearing camo swim trunks.
"Lighting going first because Lightning is number one!." Lightning grins wearing his brown shorts.
"I can do it as well." Jacques chimes in smiling, he was wearing a pink Speedo.
"I can also do it." Johnny says, he was still wearing his ballcap but had on green swim trunks.
"Should we send in our strongest players first?." Samey asks looking at the other team, she was wearing a yellow bikini with white dots on it.
"I feel like we should, they could send someone like Duncan out." Kitty nods wearing her orange bikini she had on in the ridonculous race.
"Zip it, I've got a plan." Joe butts in, she was wearing a grey one piece.
"Jockstrap and Ice Freezer will go first, Followed by Dirt boy and Clint Leastwood, then Slomey and Drooliet, Mustache and Blondzilla, Twin happy and twin angry, Andrea the giant and Skylight, Selfiestick and Musclepants, and then Sargent drippy and I will go last."
Everyone whispers and talks it over and agrees.
"Alright teams, times up, let's see who's going first." Chris gives a big grin as Lightning and Jacques step on the line for the rivers and Duncan and Alejandro step up for the totems.
"Alright, on your marks, get set, go!." Chris yells as the four guys run out of the marker and start digging for the bag with both teams cheering.
"You search for the bag, I'll block them off." Duncan stands guard and Alejandro starts digging, but Alejandro didn't find the bag, it was Jacques who grabbed the bag and began sprinting to the line with Duncan chasing him.
"Go Ice man go!." Lightning yelled as he sprinted down the line and caught up to the delinquent.
Alejandro tries to tackle Jacques but the ice dancer dodges the Spaniard who falls on the sand but gets quickly back up, Duncan goes for a tackle but Lighting trips him and he lands in the sand as Jacques leaps over the white line.
"And that's one point for the rivers." McLean announces to the camera. "Will the rivers hold the lead or with the totems topple them?. Find out after the break on Total Drama: Tropical Island!.
