Meanwhile, at Dr. Merlot's lab, he just tested his serum by injecting it into a Creep.
"Now, all I can do is wait." Dr. Merlot supposed.
When it was morning at Beacon, team RWBY was getting ready for the day ahead.
"Does anybody know what the commotion was about last night?" Blake wondered.
"Go on Weiss, tell her." Yang ordered.
"This dolt told me Jaune liked me and I fell in class so I had no other choice but to put an end to it." Weiss explained.
"Ooh, Weiss and Jaune sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-" however Weiss interrupted Ruby before she could say anymore.
"No! That won't happen! Ever!" Weiss refuted.
"So, what should we do today? I mean, it is the weekend after all." Yang smiled.
"Maybe we could go outside." Ruby suggested.
"Or stay inside and read a book." Blake recommended.
"I've heard hiding your existence from the world works great too." Weiss muttered.
"I don't think anybody will be taking a walk outside for a while." Ren doubted.
"Why's that?" Yang asked.
"It appears another green Creep has been spotted near the campus. The Atlesian military has dispatched some of their Paladins and guards to make sure the students are unharmed. The only way anyone can exit the building is if they're going to class or the cafeteria." Phyrra elucidated.
"Perfect! This day can't get any better!" Weiss squealed.
"We'd better hurry before they stop serving breakfast. I just love pancakes!" Nora added.
So, everyone went to the cafeteria.
"So, why did you fall in class yesterday Weiss?" Phyrra wondered.
Weiss inhaled and slowly exhaled before speaking.
"Jaune, do, do you, like me?" Weiss interrogated.
"W-what?" Jaune stuttered.
"I asked you if you liked me." Weiss answered.
"Well, uh, so you see, the thing is..." Jaune droned.
When Jaune looked up, he instantly regretted it. Weiss was staring him down. Jaune started to realize this wasn't like a Grimm fight he could escape from. This time, he was cornered on all sides.
"Y-yeah, I guess I do." Jaune surrendered.
Weiss's face was frozen in shock.
"This, this is just a nightmare right? It's just a bad dream and I'm still asleep. Yeah, that's it, that has to be it." Weiss hoped.
"Um, are you okay Weiss? You seem a little spooked." Ruby worried.
"I, uh, I, I don't know anymore, maybe I should just go back and lay down for a bit." Weiss panicked.
"Maybe a book might help." Blake recommended.
"At this rate nothing's going to help." Weiss sighed.
"Maybe a little training would make you feel better." Yang suggested.
"Only if you're willing to be the target." Weiss remarked.
"Me!? What did I do!?" Yang cried.
"You're the one who made me fall!" Weiss complained.
"It's not my fault you reacted the way you did!" Yang stated.
"When will you two get along!?" Ruby hollered.
"When Leviathan can fly." Yang answered.
"Ugh, and I thought we could have some team bonding time." Ruby rambled.
"If anyone needs me I'll be reading." Blake notified.
