While Yang and Ruby were embarking on their walk home, the sisters had an uncomfortable talk.
"This is all your fault!" Yang acused.
"How is this my fault? You're the one who went outside when we were supposed to be inside and took a picture of the Grimm!" Ruby protested.
"Well you're the one who was looking at the Grimm in the forest which saw you and followed us and caused us to get suspended!" Yang stated.
"Says the one who's supposed to be smarter about things and a good example." Ruby retorted.
"Fine, but when dad grounds you and I'm home free don't come crying to me." Yang smirked as she opened the door.
After the door creaked open, Zwei ran to the door, barking happily as he wagged his tail.
"Hey! Zwei came to greet us! Who wants a belly rub? Who wants a belly rub? You're such a good boy Zwei." Yang gushed.
"What are you two doing home on a Monday?" Tai interrogated.
"We didn't have anything to do." Yang lied.
"I forgot to mention that I got a call from your school. And you two have a lot of explaining to do." Tai frowned.
"It was her fault! She's the one who went outside on a leisure walk and didn't turn around when she saw the Grimm!" Yang remarked.
"You didn't tell me anything! Besides, you went outside first and took a picture of that other Grimm!" Ruby noted.
"That's enough, both of you to your rooms. I don't want to hear another sound out of either of you until your next vacation." Tai added.
The girls went to their rooms after going upstairs and slammed the doors.
"What are we going to do about them Zwei?" Tai asked.
After it turned midnight, Dr Merlot cackled.
"At last, it's time to unleash the combat androids." Merlot grinned.
So, after the time he first went around beacon to exploit anything about the facility for his attack, Dr. Merlot placed signal blockers around the school. Dr. Merlot activated the signal blockers before releasing the androids. Soon, the androids were hiding at Beacon Academy in different areas. When morning came around, the androids began to attack.
Everyone on campus was sent into a panic. Blake and Weiss were staying in their dorm since their homes weer too far from the school. Weiss called Yang from her scroll and told her about what was happening.
"Weiss? Why are you calling?" Yang wondered.
"There's robots attacking the school! Everyone's going home on account of a mandatory evacuation. We're waiting for our turn. Blake and I finished packing our bags. We'll get a call when we can come back." Weiss notified before ending the call.
Yang then went to Ruby's room but met her in the hall halfway.
"Blake said some robots are attacking Beacon and they're being evacuated. We'll get a call when we can return back to school. I hope the others are okay." Ruby informed.
"It's weird that the Paladin's are gone but the school got attacked by robots. They might have something to do with the green Grimm." Yang theorized.
Amidst all the chaos, Dr. Merlot entered the premises undetected.
"And now, the moment I've been waiting on for years. I'm sorry Oz old chum, but some events just have to transpire." Merlot muttered.
However, when he tried to get into Ozpin's office, he noticed Ozpin was still in there and issuiing evacuation orders for the students. Dr. Merlot placed his back to the left wall of the entrance to the room.
"I know you're here Merlot. Have a seat, we have a lot to discuss." Ozpin informed.
Dr. Merlot then wearily entered the room and cautiously sat in front of Ozpin's desk.
"I was hoping we wouldn't be meeting under these circumstances. Unfortuantely my fears were confirmed. I know you disrupted the school's communications so when you took down the cross continental transmit system here in Vale there would be no way to notify anyone of the situation. But there's one thing I can't seem to understand. How exactly would you benefit from this ordeal?" Ozpin spoke.
"So I could reroute the system from my secret lab. It would allow me to be in control, with the system at my disposal I could open the possibility of multiple new experiments to attempt." Merlot elucidated.
