The Mysterian aliens first made contact with the human race in 2011 and said they would help us with our monster problem in exchange for being allowed to live on Earth, but not everyone believed them until they used their war machine M.O.G.U.R.A. to kill Baragon, Ganimes, and Kamoebas 3. Large technological advancements were made against the kaiju, such as armored suits, anti-nuclear energy bacteria, and blaster weapons.
