The hairy spawn of Frankenstein, dubbed Sanda was cared for by scientists as a child, before escaping into the wild and eventually matured. Some of Sanda's cells fed on protein rich plankton and became a new monster dubbed Giara, the two fought in Beijing over the way they felt about humans, Sanda cared for them while Gaira found them as a light snack, before they could finish their duel, Godzilla made landfall and destroyed them both with a blast of his atomic breath before going back out to sea.
