I do not own Naruto, nor do I own Sonic the hedgehog, and this is my first what if on What if Naruto became an android.

The ship is strictly NaruHina and the story will mainly change during and after the chūnin exams.

That's all I gotta say let us begin.

It was a beautiful day in the village Konohagakure no sato, the ninja village hidden in the leaves, which is led by the current Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, the sandiame hokage, and is housing of the jinchuriki of the nine-tailed demon, the Kyuubi no Yoko, Naruto Uzumaki. Now most people out of Konoha would think Jinchuriki are respected heroes of their villages, but that is not true, for any jinchuriki, as we now hear.

"DIE DEMON SPAWN!" "THIS IS FOR MY SON!" "PLEASE STOP! WHAT DID I DO!?" "YOU KILL MY WIFE, YOU MONSTER!" "I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU!". In a dark alleyway, Uzumaki Naruto is being attacked by a mob at the age of 4 years old on his birthday, October 10 1x93, this usually happens nearly every day, but on his birthdays, the beatings get to a point that almost ends with Naruto needing to be protected afterward by 3 squads of the elite ANBU of the Hokage, 1 needing to stay closer than necessary being a weasel masked ANBU male with long black hair, But the other beatings usually only had villagers with pitch forks, trash, and other lethal weapons and sometimes Genin dropouts who are quickly dealt with, but this time this mob had some chūnin in it, 2 with red eyes, two randoms, and a white-eyed one.
"TIME TO KILL THIS WASTE OF SPACE AND FINISH WHAT THE YONDAIME STARTED," said the one red-eyed chūnin, a couple of hand signs for the fire style: Great fireball jutsu, set a bloody and battered Naruto ablaze, thanks to the alcohol splashed on him from a now broke bottle of Sake.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" "TAKE THIS, 8 TRIGRAMS, 32 PALMS" when the Hyūga used his Gentle fist technique on Naruto, he failed to realize while striking Naruto's tenketsu, his chakra infused with the fire on Naruto's body, burning Naruto's chakra pathway to almost nothing, that was until, "You all have violated the sandaime's law" "You all are sentenced with death." after the ANBU dealt with the mob, Cat rushed Naruto to the Hospital, as Weasel ran to inform the Hokage about the incident that would change Naruto forever.

(In an unknown base far from the Elemental Nations)

Dr. Ivo Robotnik returns to his base in the future after Shadow, an android (alien hybrid) hedgehog created by his grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, helps stop the Space Colony Ark after 'sacrificing' his life to save everyone by using a chaos blast and destroying the Ark, along with himself. Dr. Robotnik, or Eggman returned to his base, contemplating everything he learned on the Ark, doesn't know how to feel, sure he still wants to take over the world, but now he is confused on some things, nevertheless, the Eggman Empire must Prevail.

"(sigh) Metal Sonic, any news on your findings?" hovering down to Eggman is his creation to match and defeat his arch-enemy, Sonic the Hedgehog, is Metal Sonic, who was tasked with finding any new events on Mobius,

"BEEP BEEP" "hmm... a portal ring in Hill Top? Doesn't seem that special..." "BEEP BOO BEEP" Metal Sonic presents the Portal ring to his master, telling him that the ring leads to somewhere different from Mobius and, (what he suspects) their Earth. "Interesting, Metal, use the ring." with his commands given, Metal Sonic throws the portal that had a different feeling to it than the others, open to reveal Konoha in the alleyway, and the two were witnessed to see the beat down given to a 4-year-old blonde boy with 3 whisker-like birthmarks on each cheek and a heavily malnourished frame. Seeing the poor boy getting attacked like some monster brought tears to the evil megalomaniac scientist, Eggman, seeing how cruel those people do that to a child made Eggman furious, but that's when Eggman had a thought

'That boy, though he is none of my concern, somehow survived that torture, if I can have him on my side...' he looks at Metal Sonic and remembers some info about Shadow, 'yes... this can work just fine' he grins evilly and laughs "HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO" "BEELEELEP?" "Metal Sonic, I have a plan, and it requires that boy." Eggman was going to make the ultimate Metal Overlord.

(At the Hospital, 6:29 PM)

The Sandaime paced the hallway close to Naruto's room, waiting for anything, any result as long as it means Naruto is going to be okay, or at least survive, "my dear boy, please be okay, it was such a terrible idea to tell the council of the fact you were the jailer of the Kyuubi" soon as he finished those thoughts ended, a doctor rushed to the Hokage,

"how is Naruto, is he going to be okay?' 'Hokage-sama, Uzumaki-san is going to live, but..." the doctor paused, "Well, Continue!" the Hokage shouted, "Uzumaki has received several broken bones, 2 cracked and 3 shattered ribs, 3rd-degree burns, and his chakra pathways... " "WHAT! WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS CHAKRA PATHWAYS!?"

"they've been M-melted, Hokage-sama, that's why the damage is so critical, I believe the reason Uzumaki-san has not healed from this is that his 'attendant' can send its chakra throughout his body. I'm sorry Hokage-sama, but because of this, Uzumaki can never recover and become a ninja." the doctor finished. The Hokage on the outside was upset of this news, but on the inside, he was livid, it was Dog's turn to watch Naruto with his squad and he was late to come to Naruto's aid, thankful Cat and Weasel disobeyed Dog's orders otherwise Naruto would be dead, a likely punishment is to be in order for the lazy ANBU.

But while the Sandaime and doctor were talking from the other side of the room, Naruto with what little hearing he had due to his bandages listened in on what was being said, only to have his whole world shatter into dust after hearing that he can no longer use his chakra. Naruto believed that if he were to become the hokage, he'd be respected by everyone, and no one would look down on him like trash, like a monster, but to be a hokage, (in his assumption) you need to be the strongest ninja and to become the strongest ninja, he has to register in the ninja academy and to register and pass he has to have chakra. After his turmoil, Hiruzen, or his Jiji, walked in with a saddened look on his face,

"Naruto-kun, how are you doing?" Naruto gave the sandaime a look, as much as he could with almost his whole face, minus his eyes, saying "WHAT DO YOU THINK!" the sandaime could only wince at the look the boy gave him, "(sigh) Naruto, I'm sorry to say but..." "(Muffled) I can't become a shinobi" Hiruzen, being able to somewhat hear what Naruto said, was shocked the boy heard his condition, but what truly almost brought the sandaime to tears was the empty look in Naruto's eyes, "My boy, I'm so sorry this has happened to you, I'll do whatever I can to make it up to you." "(muffled) can you... let me rest, please." the sandaime allowed Naruto to have his sleep and left the hospital, not without having Cat watch over him, just in case, "Now, to deal with Kakashi and the Council."

(At the Hospital, Naruto's room, 8:00 PM)

Naruto was about to sleep, until suddenly something shining bright like the sun appeared, forcing his eyes shut, 'Damn it, how can the sun be out, IT EIGHT O' CLO...' Naruto's thought process ended there as he sees some giant ring-like portal appear in front of him showing a very colorful futuristic place (Stardust Speedway) and out came a rather large man wearing a red lab coat, black pants with matching boots, white gloves, has on goggles, has a big nose with a big mahogany mustache.

Doctor Eggman has appeared in Naruto's hospital room with a purpose, "hmm a rather bad position for a child, I'd say." Naruto and the female cat ANBU, Uzuki Yugao, were very confused as this strange man just came out of nowhere that'd be in the elemental nations and has an interest in Naruto, "boy, how would you like it if you were to be able to become a... shinobi again?"

(Yes, Eggman has done research on the elemental nations and Metal Sonic used his speed to 'borrow' some book from the Konoha library for Eggman to read before coming to Konoha himself, let's just roll with this)

Yugao, not trusting and was ready to strike until "don't move." "BEEP BOOP." behind Yugao were Mecha Sonic and Metal Sonic, whose claws were at her throat, she had no choice but to watch and hope Naruto made the right choice. It felt like hours though it had been a few minutes, Naruto was contemplating what to do, should he refuse to go with this man who seems like a bad person from what he is feeling, or have a chance of Shinobi-hood again? It took Naruto a few minutes to think and thought several scenarios of what could happen, but with how everyone except those who are close to him treats him he realizes no one would think any different of him, with that last thought he made up his mind,

"(muffled) yes." Eggman grinned "you've made a very good decision boy, Mecha, carefully bring..." "(muffled) Uzumaki Naruto." "Right, Uzumaki Naruto with us, I've got some work to do" "Yes sir." Mecha lifts up Naruto from his hospital bed and all of them go back to Future Mobius, minus Yugao because as soon as Mecha and Eggman left with Naruto, he let go of Yugao and sped to the portal with it closing right after she tried to jump in, but she was too slow, "I have to report this to Hokage-sama."

(Future Mobius, Stardust Speedway)

Having sedated Naruto, Eggman was working on making Naruto into the ultimate shinobi that would be better in every which way to most shinobi but learned that to have chakra, you have to be alive and have a chakra system which neither of the metal series has, he did learn that Naruto had a second source of chakra, but it seems more dangerous and untamed, Eggman wants Naruto to be flawless, not power or speed alone, he went and searched for more information on Shadow to see how he was created and learned that Shadow was half android half alien, looking over more information and data, he realizes what Naruto needs, chaos energy, sadly the Emeralds were likely far gone since Shadow blew up with them either destroyed or out in far space, and with Knuckles protecting the Master emerald, Eggman thinks all hope on this project is gone until he remembered, Mecha Sonic still has some chaos energy in his core, not a lot for its super form, but enough for Naruto to absorb and make it his own,

"Mecha, get over here." Eggman hooked up Naruto and Mecha through several strong cables, and if the readings are correct, Naruto can gain chaos energy and the project can continue, but Naruto has a 20% chance of survival, "damn if anything messes up, this whole thing can be ruined with no way of recovery..." "do... it..." "What?!" "Just... do... it..." Naruto even after heavy sedation was awake, Eggman for one so screwed up and evil is shocked by this kid's determination and sheer willpower that he hesitated to pull the lever and transfer the minimal chaos energy in him, but shaking out of his stupor, Eggman pulls the lever and watches as Naruto revolts in pain.

(15 minutes later)

"Come on, come on" Eggman was somewhat desperately hoping this would work and that both would come out fine, though he can always rebuild Mecha, Naruto was a different case, suddenly, the power is cut off and a huge explosion that would make a so-called artist of explosions giddy, "*cough* *cough* no, DID IT FAIL?!" as the smoke clears, it shows that Mecha has been reduced to scrap, and Naruto was... perfectly fine, Robotnik went to check Naruto's vitals and saw that they were slow, yet steady, "yes, Yes, HOO HOO HOO HOO!"
