Clover stood in the corner at the end of a cave, his heart hammering underneath his armor. It was actually happening. Nearly every single one of his brothers went rogue. Just like that. And there was nothing he could do about it.

He thought it would never happen, but for once, he didn't fit in with the rest of his brothers. He felt like the odd one out.

"I can't believe they're doing this," He said. He used his sensors to identify the clones running wild. "I don't know these clones anymore,"

His medic, Focus, put his hand on his shoulder. "We all don't. Don't beat yourself up over it,"

Clover swallowed a lump forming in his throat. "How can I not? I could have saved all of them, but I didn't!" He blinked a few tears away from his eyes, which fell down his cheeks underneath his helmet.

His pilot, Droid, scoffed. "It's not your fault that General Skywalker wouldn't listen to you, when you told him the real reason behind the chips!"

The weapon specialist, Gap, punched Droid's shoulder plate. "Well, duh! He's a Sith Lord now! For all we know, he could have been in on this!"

The tech specialist, Hesitate, put his hands up. "F-fighting isn't g-going to help us n-now, men," He said, his stutter bringing all the Clones to his attention. "We n-need to get out of here. There's nothing we can do for these men now,"

Clover furrowed his brow. "We can stun some of them! Drag them to the med bay! Take their chips out too!"

Focus put his hand on his shoulder. "It's too risky. They'll know we're different from the rest. We could be caught," He sighed. "Plus, do you really see any medbay in this sinkhole of a planet? Utapau has nothing!"

Clover bit his lip to keep it from quivering. "B-but there has to-"

Focus lifted his hand up to stop him. "Awaiting orders, Commander," he said, calmly.

Clover sniffed. "F-fine," He looked at Droid. "Droid, find us a ship,"

"I'm afraid there are none," Droid said. "All of them have either been destroyed, or are under maintenance,"

Clover scoffed. "Of course they are," He muttered. "There has to be an abandoned one somewhere." He took out his blaster. "Set your blasters to stun. I don't want us to kill any of our brothers if they find us out," He adjusted his blaster in his shaking fingers. "Ghost Squad, out,"

The squad ran down the rocky paths, their blasters tight in hand. They did their best to mimic the other clones, to avoid being caught.

But Clover couldn't help but watch the gruesome scene. All around him, innocent Jedi were being slain against their will. By their own men. He wanted to help but he couldn't risk the lives he already saved. He couldn't expose them now.

Droid pointed. "There! There's a ship! If we hurry, we can snatch it!"

Clover tore his eyes away from the scene. "Let's get outta here. I don't want to hang around here much longer."

The Ghost Squad weaved through all the bodies of their fallen brothers, and Jedi on the uneven rocky ground, and ran towards the ship, parked near the rocky ledge they came from. It was recognized as one of the fallen Jedi's ships, so they had no use for it now.

Droid ran up the ramp and jumped into the cockpit first, and started the ship up. "Get in, men! We have little time before they notice we're gone!"

The rest of the squad jumped into the ship. As soon as Hesitate got in, since he was the last of the group, Droid closed the ramp, and lifted the ship into the air. As soon as they broke the atmosphere, he prepared the ship for hyperspeed.

"Those clones are too focused to notice our escape," Droid said, tacking a few buttons with his fingers. "But that doesn't mean they didn't notice us. There's still a chance that they did,"

Hesitate clasped his fingers. "A-and i-if they d-did?" He stammered.

Clover looked at him. "Then we destroy this ship immediately. Go undercover. If we're found, then we're killed,"

They then shot into the galaxy, faster than light itself.

(ten minutes earlier)

Down below on Utapau, Rush (CT-5067) caught something in the corner of his eye. He looked up, and saw a Jedi ship lifting into the sky, and pulling away. He glared at the ship, and lifted his com to his mouth.

"Commander, there's a Jedi ship getting away," He spoke. "One of them is escaping,"

"Track it down. Blast it out of the sky. None of them can be kept alive," His commander said from the com.

Rush cracked his knuckles, and found a ship of his own. He lifted his com to his mouth again. "Make sure none of the others think I'm a runaway Jedi. I don't wanna be shot down,"

"Don't worry about that, soldier. Just kill that Jedi!"

Rush nodded, and started up his ship. He looked at the radar screen, and found the signal of the stolen ship, not too far away from his coordinates.

"I've got you now, Jedi," He spat.

He lifted into the air, and started his way towards the signal of the ship, in hyperspace. As he got closer, the ship came into his view. He sped his ship up to the point of tailgating the other, and ejected his guns from underneath.

"See ya later, ya filthy scum," He started shooting at it as quickly and precisely as he could.

But as he was about to hit it, the ship spun, and dodged out of his way.

Rush growled. "Of course this Jedi is a good pilot!" He got closer to the ship and continued to blast at it, but each blast was dodged by the skilled pilot. "You want to play this the hard way, huh? I'll give you the hard way!" Rush pressed a few more buttons, and ejected missiles from the bottom. THe large rockets shot towards the ship, and followed it's every move.

Rush chuckled menacingly. "Time to join the Force, Jedi,"

One of the missiles crashed into the back of the ship, completely taking out one of the engines. The ship started to spiral out of control down to a nearby planet.

Rush smirked. "There's no way they're surviving that," He said, proudly.

He turned his ship around, and turned his com back on "Commander, I got them. Shot them down. They're dead,"

"Good work, Rush," His commander, Target said. "Head back to Utapau. There's still more scum for you to execute."
