Going to the Byers place again was weird, even though they no longer stayed in their run down cabin in the woods it still felt weird after everything that happened. They got a new place, a bigger place with enough space for Joyce and her sons as well as Hopper and El.

Hopper and Joyce finally got together. They had been dancing around each other for what felt like an eternity and then Murray happened. It was a funny story and Steve wished he had been there to see it all play out. It was strange how normal it felt after everything, their last home was ripped in half by the Mind Flayer and Billy.

Jonathan had called Steve immediately after Joyce and Hopper left, letting him know that Nancy would be picking up the kids on her way over so he only had to get Robin and Vickie. He also told him that his friend Argyle was here as well with his girlfriend, so there would be two extra heads. He was cool with that, atleast this way Dustin wouldn't be questioning him about his outfit choice or his over use of perfume.

Robin did question him, wanting to know why he was all dressed up "dingus, why do you look like you're about to go and charm the panties off some random girl who's name you'll forget after spending one night with her?" she asked earning a scowl from Steve and a laugh from Vickie.

"I'm not going on a date and I don't plan on charming anyone's panties off" (although he wouldn't mind charming Eddie's briefs off) he flushed at the thought and cleared his throat "I just felt like dressing up a bit."

"well whatever it's for, you look great" Vickie said giving him a look that told him that she knew exactly who it was for.

He smiled at that, "thank you Vickie. You're much nicer than Rob over here, you should hang out with her more. Maybe that way you'll rub some of your kindness off on her"

Robin choked as she caught the innuendo in Steve's words, trying her best to hide her flushed face. She was so going get him back for that one as soon as she found out who he was crushing on.

Vickie laughed again, a blush on her cheeks "I might have to take you up on that offer, she seems like she could teach me a thing or two as well."

They pulled up at the Byers driveway which brought their conversation to end something Robin looked very grateful for. Nancy's car was already parked so they knew the kids were there, the only person who hadn't arrived was Eddie. That made Steve's stomach drop with disappointment. He wanted to see his face when he walked in. He wanted to see Eddie's reaction to his outfit, but he wasn't there yet and that put a damper on his mood.

"Steve can we talk for a minute?" Vickie asked before they walked inside.

Steve shot Robin a look as if to ask if she was okay with this, she nodded to Steve and walked into the house leaving them outside.

Steve followed Vickie to the side of his car and leaned against it waiting for her to speak.

She sighed "so... Robin told me that you two are just friends" she started.

Steve turned to face her, "we are, she's my best friend. She means a lot to me"

"I can see that. I like the dynamic you two have, it's good to have someone to talk to about the shit life throws at you. I was actually planning on asking her out soon, but I'm not sure what she'll like so I was hoping that you could give me some ideas?" she asked, twisting her fingers nervously and keeping her eyes on the ground.

He thought about it for a minute, "well I can't suggest movies because we always do that. I don't know, maybe go to the fair, you could play one of those weird toss games and win her a teddy bear or go on the ferris wheel and kiss on the top where nobody can really see you. Plus nobody would question two girls going together, they'll assume you're just friends."

Her face lit up at that, "that sounds perfect actually" she pulled him into a hug and let out a soft squeal of excitement, "thank you Steve, you're a life saver."

"Harrington I see you struck gold again" Eddie's voice came from behind them. There was a mirth to his voice that Steve hadn't heard before, he sounded almost angry.

Steve's entire body stiffened and he pulled out of Vickie's embrace immediately. It took everything inside of him to not rush over to Eddie and explain that it wasn't what it looked like and that he definitely didn't want Vickie.

Vickie let out a laugh at Eddie's words and walked over to him, pulling him into a short hug, "he hasn't struck anything Munson. Atleast not with me." she said before making her way inside.

The air between them felt electric charged as they stared at each other, neither of them saying a word. Steve wanted to speak but he didn't trust his voice to carry him right now, so instead he just stood there hoping that Eddie would break the tension. Eddie must have noticed because after another minute of loaded silence he made his way over, settling into the place Vickie was in before.

He pulled a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it before taking a drag, "I thought Vickie and Robin had something going on... You trying to hook up with her would be a dick move." he said, breaking the silence after what felt like forever.

Steve reached for his cigarette and took a drag, "I'm not trying to hookup with her, also you know nothing about Robin."

"Except I do Stevie. I know a lot about her. We have more in common than you think" he said with a shrug. He took a long drag of his cigarette and held the smoke in his mouth for a bit before blowing it out into Steve's face. He smirked when he saw the dazed look on the other man's face "I'm sorry for breaking up whatever that was."

"It wasn't anything." Steve said with an exasperated sigh. He was so tired of people assuming that he was putting moves on every woman he spoke to, it was annoying. "Me smiling or hugging someone doesn't mean I'm putting moves on them Munson. If it was the case then I'd be putting moves on you, because we hug sometimes."

Eddie raised a brow at him, a teasing smile pulling at his lips as he leaned forward invading Steve's personal space, "you wish you could put moves on me Stevie. I'm not anything like the ladies you usually handle."

Steve knew Eddie was teasing him, he knew it was a joke. Yet still his heart was beating in his throat at the thought of putting moves on Eddie, at the thought of Eddie putting moves on him. He wanted Eddie to do more than just flirt with him, he wanted Eddie to pin him down and-

"Are you two coming in or not? The movie is about to start!" Dustin shouted, his head peaking out the front door.

Steve startled at his voice and quickly turned to the door, his face burning due to where his thoughts were going. His face wasn't the only part of his body that was burning however. A place down south seemed to be just as intrigued by his thoughts and Eddie's words, but he would never admit that.

"we'll be right there Henderson" Eddie responded before tossing his cigarette and stepping on it, "let's go. We don't want to keep them waiting now do we, sweetheart."

Steve followed him into the house silently, praying that his face didn't show off how flustered he really was. His mind was a mess and he really didn't want to be stuck in a room full of people for the next hour or two. He quickly noticed that everyone was seated on the various sofas and some of the kids even got comfortable on the floor, set with blankets and pillows. There was only one seat open and it was next to Nancy and Jonathan. Steve really didn't want to sit next to them, he didn't have an issue with their relationship it just felt too much like he was third wheeling them.

Eddie moved over and settled beside them before glancing around the room and seeing that the space was pretty much taken up. Argyle and Eden sat on the love seat, all cuddled up and comfortable. Robin and Vickie sat on the smaller sofa and Max sat beside them. Max was alive and well, she wasn't in the wheel chair anymore but she had a backbrace so she wasn't allowed to lounge around on the ground with the other kids, at least not until the brace was due to come off. Everyone had signed it and Eddie told her that she shouldn't be ashamed of having to wear it for a while, it was very metal and cool. That made her smile.

On the other sofa sat Nancy, Jonathan and now Eddie leaving no seat left for Steve, the floor was fully crowded too. What with Will, Mike, El, Lucas, Dustin, Erica and surprisingly Suzie. Turns out Eden brought her sister along and now they had a very happy and smiley Dustin on their hands as well.

Eddie sighed and patted his lap, he knew nobody in the room would find it weird, well except the kids but that wasn't important right now. They would simply explain that there wasn't enough space and that friends sometimes sit on each other's lap. Robin and Nancy do it sometimes so it shouldn't be weird at all.

Steve made his way over and gingerly sat on Eddie's lap, his knees hitting the side of Nancy's legs. He cleared his throat and made himself comfortable, trying not to react to much when he felt Eddie's hand rest on his waist. His breath hitched, a warmth spreading through his body from where Eddie's hand laid, it felt like a live wire on his skin.

Eddie tried to play it cool, he tried his best not to react to having Steve on him, he begged his dick to behave because if it did raise Steve would definitely feel it. He laid his hand on Steve's waist to anchor himself but quickly realized that it wasn't the best idea, Steve's skin was hot under his hand. Even through his red polo shirt he could feel the heat of Steve, he felt it spread up his arm and spread into the rest of his body.

Nancy shot an inquisitive glance at them before handing them a blanket and a bowl of crisps. Steve took the bowl and sent a soft thanks in response. He cuddled further into Eddie's space, making himself comfortable since he would be spending the entire movie on his lap. He ignored some of the confused glances they got from the kids and the older people in the room. He also ignored the shit eating grins on Robin and Vickie's lips. Those two were the perfect match, seeing as both of them enjoying watching Steve suffer.

Although he could hardly call this suffering. This was a mixture of heaven and hell, on the one hand he was close to Eddie in a more intimate way and on the other hand he wasn't sure how long he would hold out before his mind would wonder to forbidden territory which would definitely turn him on.

The first few minutes was easy, they focused on the screen as Ghoulies played. Neither of them paying attention to the close proximity of their bodies.

It was easy.

Until it wasn't.

Steve had a slight cramp in his back so he shifted slightly to ease the pain. He stopped abruptly when he heard Eddie let out a long breath, it looked like he was trying to get himself to calm down.

That clearly didn't work because Steve felt it, when he shifted he accidentally rubbed his ass over Eddie's crotch. The reaction was instant, he could feel the swell of Eddie beneath him indicating that he was definitely sporting a semi. Steve was mortified and Eddie was flushed all over.

Eddie cleared his throat and reached up to move Steve's body a bit, he needed to move some of Steve's weight off his dick or he would have a big problem. Having a boner was one thing but having it in a room full of kids was a whole other issue. Plus they'd question why he even got a boner in the first place, and for a man at that.

Steve bit back a whine when Eddie moved him. Being handled by Eddie turned him on way more than he cared to admit. His face was burning and if there was one thing he was grateful for in this moment it was that if they stood up right now, Eddie would be the only one with a boner.

He didn't quite have the parts for that yet... Usually he hated that, but right now in this moment he was just a little relieved that he wouldn't have to explain or hide his semi. The witness between his legs was still uncomfortable though but he could handle that.
