After that incident on Coruscant, the ship was quiet. Eerily quiet. Bugsi was crying for a while, and it took Clover a while to calm her down. Now, she was sleeping on his knee, completely knocked out.

To distract himself, all Clover could do was click the end of a pen he found.

"You okay, Commander?" Droid said, leaning forward on his knees. "You only click pens like that when you're nervous,"

"Just a little shook, that's all," Clover said, looking at the pen, and continuing to click it. "W-we did almost fall a hundred feet onto a bunch of what used to be our brothers, and pavement,"

"You know what I think?" Droid said.

Clover looked at him. "Hm?"

"I think you're lying,"

Clover snapped his head up. "What?! N-No I'm not! That was terrifying!"

"You stutter when you're nervous," Droid crossed his arms and spun around in his seat.

"W-what? N-no I don't!" He pointed to Hesitate. "Tate stutters all the time!"

"That's his mutation," Droid said. "Leave Tate out of this. I know you're hiding something,"

Clover sighed. "I'm not very convincing, am I?"

Droid smirked. "I can see right through you, tough guy,"

"Well…" He looked at Bugsi. "I'm having second thoughts about having her come with us. It's dangerous out in this galaxy. She has a bounty on her head," He softly adjusted her in his arms. "The only safe place for her right now is her previous home,"

"Then we'll take her back," Droid said.

Ponzo gurgled nervously at the remark.

"It's for the best, big guy," Droid said. "I'll reroute the ship to the previous planet we were on earlier. I still have the coordinates," He pressed a few buttons, and turned the ship around.

Bugsi shuffled in Clover's arms for a bit before she turned around and leaned on his arm. She started to snore softly again.

"Preparing for hyperspace," Droid said. He pressed a few more buttons and pulled down a lever, and they completed their jump, the stars a purple blur outside their windows.

"Droid, can you find me a piece of paper? Something I can write on?" He said.

Droid shuffled through a few drawers before he found an old piece of parchment. It looked old and yellow. "There's this. Kinda gross, but writable. Why?"

Clover nodded and took it from him. "Just gonna write a note to Bugsi. For her to read when she wakes up,"

"Are we just gonna drop her off in the sand and leave her there?" Droid said. "That's kind of insensitive,"

"No. No. Of course not," Clover said. "Ponzo knows the way, don't you, buddy?"

Ponzo sadly gurgled in agreement.

"See? He's definitely capable of bringing her back," Clover said. "This is the safest place she could be. It's an unnamed planet, that's sand, and rocks for miles. Plus, their place is camouflaged,"

"I agree," Droid said. "This will be best for her. The battlefield, and a big galaxy is no place for a little girl. Let alone a Padawan."

He started writing a note to Bugsi. From her state of sleep, he could tell that she wasn't going to wake up for a long time. He tried to make his handwriting as neat as possible so it was easy for her to read. When he was done, he stuck the note into her front pocket of her overalls and sighed.

He was gonna miss having her around.

A few hours later, Droid released the ship from hyperspace, and the familiar sandy planet came to their view.

"Alright, we're here," Droid said. He steered the ship towards the planet, and punched in a few coordinates. The ship glided towards the planet. It was relaxing this time, since they weren't spiraling out of control with an offline engine.

When they broke into the atmosphere, Droid carefully landed the ship a few hundred feet away from the debris of their previous crash. He opened the ramp, and looked back at Bugsi and Ponzo. "Alright, you two. This is your stop,"

Clover looked down at Bugsi, who was still fast asleep. He carefully picked her up, and walked towards Ponzo.

"Make sure she reads the note," He said, handing her to him as slowly as possible.

Ponzo gurgled softly in order to not wake her up.

"I know. We'll miss you too," Clover said. He looked down at Bugsi. "Take extra care of her, okay?"

Ponzo nodded.

"Be safe,"

Ponzo walked down the ramp with Bugsi in his arms, and began his trek back to their little hut.

As soon as they got off, Droid closed the ramp.

Clover linked his fingers behind his neck. "Gosh, she's gonna hate me for this…" He muttered.

"It's for the best. I assure you," Droid said. "She's home, and she's safe. That's all that matters."

The soft movements up and down from Ponzo's walking slowly nudged Bugso awake. As she opened her eyes, the bright sun made her squint. "Clover? Where are-" Her eyes opened all the way when she saw Ponzo carrying her. "Ponzo?" She looked around, and saw nothing but sand. The Ghost squad was nowhere to be seen. "Where's Clover? Gap? The rest of the squad?"

Ponzo gurgled sadly and pointed at her pocket.

Bugsi opened her pocket and grabbed the note. "What's this?" She opened it, and slowly started to read the words, in Clover's scratchy handwriting.

Bugsi,

This was a hard decision to make, but you can't stay with us anymore. You have a bounty on your head. Everyone is looking for you, and Ponzo. This planet, whatever it's called, is the safest place for you right now.

Don't come looking for us. Stay in your hut where it's safe. Don't leave Ponzo's side. He can protect you better than we can.

Please don't be mad at me. I'm doing this because it's the best option, for all of us.

Clover.

Bugsi bit her lip and tears came to her eyes. She gripped the note so hard, she thought it was gonna rip. "No no no no NO!" She screamed. She heard a loud whirring in the background. She turned around and saw a small dot from their ship moving into the sky. "CLOVER! GAP! EVERYONE! COME BACK! THAT'S MY SHI! BRING IT BACK!" She wriggled out of Ponzo's grip and fell into the sand. She tried to run, but the sand was hard for her to move her feet in. Her legs felt weak. Like gelatin. She collapsed forward face first into the sand, and grains of sand stuck to her tear streaked cheeks uncomfortably. "Come…come back…" She put her face into her arms, and violently sobbed.

Ponzo softly picked her up, and held her close to him. Bugsi threw her arms around him, and cried into his furry shoulder.

Ponzo patted her back softly, and went to the familiar rock of their hut. He climbed up the ladder, went behind the blanket, and set Bugsi down on her bed. She curled up into a ball, and faced the wall.

"Just because I'm a k-kid, d-doesn't mean I'm weak," She squeaked.
