Clover stared at the wall of the ship, his pen still tight in his hand. He Took deep breaths in, and out, trying to distract himself from his guilt.

"Hey, Clover, you good?" Gap asked, chewing on a piece of jerky from the supplies they saved.

Clover just kept on clicking without an answer.

"Commander, it was for the best. I miss them already too," Focus said. "We're clones. Not babysitters. We should be out there, fighting for-"

Clover clenched the pen in his hand so hard that it broke. "So we can what?! Destroy the Republic like the rest of them?! Be useless to the galaxy?!" He leaned forward and linked his arms around his neck. "What are a bunch of deserters like us gonna do in this crumbling galaxy, huh?! Pretend to act like the others?!"

Focus put his hands up. "Woah there, soldier. Slow down,"

Clover took a deep breath through his nose. "I…I'm sorry," He continued to take deep breaths. "I-I'll get over this. It's just a lot of guilt. I get over guilt quickly,"

"She'll be fine." Focus said. "As you said, she's on an unnamed planet. Basically a void. Nobody could find her even if they tried," he crossed his arms. "Let's just move on, alright? Find a different place to settle down for a while. To clear our names,"

Clover looked up at Focus, and nodded. "You're right," He turned his head towards Droid. "Droid? What's the closest void-like planet around here?"

Droid pressed a few buttons on the dashboard, and brought up a bright planet. "There's this planet called Abafar in the Outer Rim. Very deserted. Even more void-like than Bugsi's planet," He said. "Plain white ground as far as the eye can see, and footprints and shadows aren't visible,"

"Let's go there," Clover said immediately. "I don't want to deal with the public right now,"

"Are you sure? There's absolutely nothing-"

"That's an order, Droid," Clover said.

"Okay, okay," Droid said, punching in Abafar's coordinates. "Bright white void, here we come,"

They entered hyperspeed, and started their journey to Abafar.

"This should allow things to cool off for a bit," Clover said. "A few weeks out here, people will think we're dead,"

"Good point," Droid said. "Nobody would dare come out here. We have the resources to survive a few weeks, but to avoid dehydration, and starvation, we would eventually have to leave,"

"Any amount of time out there is fine. As long as we can clear our names, That's all I care about,"

A while later, Droid dropped them out of hyperspeed, and the dusty planet came to their view. The atmosphere was bright. Almost blinding.

"This is our stop," Droid said. "Any second thoughts?"

The squad was silent, and they all shook their heads.

"Alrighty,"

Droid sped towards the planet, and landed on its bright white terrain. When the ship was at a complete stop, the ramp cranked open.

"Not much to see out there, but you can get out, if you want," Droid said.

Clover stepped out of the ship to stretch his stiff legs. The hair was humid and moist. Not entirely comfortable to breathe.

"Man, this is more desolate than Bugsi's place," Clover said. He felt a shiver down his spine. "It's almost…scary,"

"It's fine. I think it's kinda cool!" Gap said. She smirked. "Man, I wish I had a speeder bike! I could zoom across this without worrying about hitting anyone!"

"Yeah, poor Target would have very much appreciated that," Clover snickered. "The poor man was in a bacta tank for hours after that!"

"I know! I still feel bad about that!" Gap said.

Clover sighed. "Man, I really miss that guy. Rush too,"

Gap put his hand on his shoulder. "Hey, it's okay. You have us, at least," He said.

"Yeah, but I grew up with those guys! Trained with them!" Clover crossed his arms. "I never knew where they went at times, randomly disappearing, and all, but we were great buddies! Best of friends!"

Gap paused. "Wait…they randomly disappeared?"

"Here and there," Clover said. "Some lunch periods they'd disappear somewhere, when we made plans at the clone bar, etcetera. It was weird,"

"I'm sure they went to do something dumb, like they always did," Gap punched his shoulder. "Probably planned their revenge for me,"

Clover scoffed "Pfft. You're a real riot, Gap,"

Gap held up his gun. "Why do you think I'm the weapons specialist?"

Clover punched his shoulder back. "Because you're a riot. I already said,"

Gap chuckled. "Right on, soldier,"
