S1 EP2: Animo or Animal
Sup everybody, It's Jay here and yesterday I got the Architrix and these past few days littile did I know I'd meet one of my most menacing villains. Ben and I were walking in the streets of Central City, home of the Flash, until a fire erupted in a building (Same building as Caitlin's Apartment Arrowverse). (BTW I'm fusing aspects of both live-action/cinematic and comic universes of DC, Marvel, Image and other fictional universe to create the Megaverse.)
Jay: "That's a big flame!"
Ben: "Yeah, I'm pretty sure a hero might be needed to extinguish it." He said whilst nudging my elbow.
Jay: "The Flash's got this."
Ben: "Off-world!" He exclaimed. I then pulled him into an alley-way.
Jay: "I'll go hero, you get the gang." I said to him and he responded with, "On it!", and we both nodded.
I scrolled through the Architrix, until I got to Articguana, then I slammed it down and transformed into him.
Articguana: "Time to cool it!" I exclaimed as I jumped out of the alleyway and I used my freeze breath to extinguish the fire. I then jumped through a window into the now frozen apartment. I noticed a boy and a lady hiding in a corner.
Boy: "Are you a new superhero?" The boy asked me.
Articguana: "Kinda."
Lady: "Enough with the chit-chat save us." She exclaimed, interrupting the conversation I was having with the boy.
Articguana: "Right. Right" I then looked around the room noticing the infrastructure was very fragile. "Hold on." I said to them before I flung them a window and created an ice slide to break their fall. I jumped out of the building, into an alleyway and reverted back to being a human. The RV pulled up behind me and I ran into it.
Kai: "That was just a diversion." She said before Gwen chimed,
Gwen: "The real crime is a jewellery store burglary."
Jay: "Max, do you think the RV can catch up?"
Max: "Sure can." He said whilst adjusting his mirror and pushing down his foot on the gas pedal.
We caught up to getaway car. I got out the window and climbed up to the roof of the RV.
Jay: "It's Hero Time!" I scrolled through the Architrix and slammed it down when I got to the Wildvine holo-image. I resembled OV style Wildvine except my belt was majority black and it's white highlights were replaced by blue.
Wildvine: "Yeah!"
Crook 1: "Ayo, there is a RV on our tail and looks like some sorta Plant Guy is on its roof." He said to the driver.
Driver Crook: "What in the blazes?! Shoot him!" He said after he turned around and gave me a sinister look.
Crook 1 stuck his torso out the sunroof and began shooting at me. The bullets went through my body, they weren't painful but they were annoying.
Wildvine: "That's it!" I said with an annoyed tone in my voice. I then threw a stink-bomb plant at his face and he retreated back into his vehicle.
Crook 1: "Ew, get it off ME!" He said whilst flailing his arms in the air. He knocked the driver's hand off the steering wheel and they crashed into a wall.
I jumped off the RV and used my vine-tentacles too pull out the crooks from the destroyed car.
Crook 1: "Next I'm driving!" He yelled at the semi-conscious driver.
Wildvine: "Yeah, yeah, next time." I then wrapped my vine-tentacles around them like a rope, to restrain them from moving.
Wildvine: "Tell your friends." I said with a smirk on my face.
The Architrix timed out and I reverted back to being a human. I ran back into the RV trying to avoid the cops.
Jay: "Floor it." I said with a playful tone to Max. He then drove away from the scene to a nearby caravan park. We arrived and settled down –Max making dinner (Octopus Legs), Gwen and Kai on their laptops, Ben listening to music on my headphones and me playing videogames on - thinking that we didn't have anything that was going to bother us. But little did we know...
At S.T.A.R. Labs, Bio-Tech Department...
Dr. Wells: "Animo, your plan to use an Ultralink to store animal DNA data for its wielder to use is insane!" He exclaimed but Animo kept on tinkerering and programming the Orange Stealth Ultralink.
Animo: "I know it seems crazy, but it's possible. Heroes like Animal Man, Beast Boy, White Tiger, Reptil and Vixen can do it organically." Dr. Wells looked at the floor with a look of disappointment on his face.
Dr. Wells: "No they can't. An inter-dimensional force uses their bodies like a host. Giving them their powers. It's known as the Morphogenetic Field to many but to others it is The Red." Animo stopped working then turned around, looking at Dr. Wells with shock.
Animo: "Dr. Wells, allow me to live-graph their DNA to the device. Or give me the Nemetrix?" Animo said with his lunatic voice and expression.
Dr. Wells: "Never, have you learnt nothing from the Vilgaxian Wars. Now Animo if you even dare try to finish this project of yours. I will fire you!" Dr. Wells said with a fearful grin. Dr. Wells walked out of Animo's lab. Animo grunted then waited an hour before he stole the Orange Stealth Ultralink, the Nemetrix and the liquid DNA of Animal-Man, Beast Boy and Reptil. He walked out of the gate with a briefcase in his hands and a black leather coat.
Animo: "Finally. NO MORE LIMITATIONS!" He said with a grin on his face.
(Yes, S.T.A.R. Labs is fully operational)
Next day, with us...
We were already for today's part of the trip. Our tour of S.T.A.R. Labs, Gwen was the most excited. Gwen was in the shower, Kai was researching for an adventure we might go on this trip with our grandfather, Ben was playing games on my Nintendo Switch, Max was prepping up breakfast (Hotdogs) and I was listening to music on my headphones.
Max: "Jay!" I then quickly took off my headphones and responded to him.
Jay: "Huh?"
Max: "Today we are going to S.T.A.R. Labs. Maybe you might learn something there?"
Kai: "Already been there with our grandpa when we found the Dominus Librium."
Jay: "Yeah, I remember that trip." I said with a smirk.
Kai: "Now Grandpa really wants us to find the Sword of Ascalon. Huh, Jay?" She said with a tone of reminiscence.
Jay: "Yeah, I've done some research on it. It was wielded by a man named Sir George."
Max: "I remember when Wes and I started our whole collection of alien history on Earth."
Jay: "Wait you're the one who started this whole thing with him?"
Max: "Yep. We started it when a history museum spotted cryptids and extra-terrestrial activities and started documenting them."
Kai: "Cryptids?"
Max: "Story for another time."
Ben: "So Grandpa in your days as a Plumber, did you ever meet any superheroes?"
Max: "A ton of 'em, from A-X."
Ben and Jay: "Whoa" We said with our mouth wide open in amazement.
Max: "I remember when I went to Krakoa and Arrako."
Gwen got out the bathroom after her 1hr shower and rushed to sit next to me.
Gwen: "So what's for breakfast?" Max then started serving us our plates.
Max: "Hotdogs!"
Jay: "Yes, normal food!"
Max: "For dinner we'll have beef tongue!"
Ben: "You had to ruin it."
We finished up our food and hit the road for the tour of S.T.A.R. Labs.
Max: "We've arrived."
Gwen: *Squeals* "I'm so excited. I've always liked science after magic."
Ben: "I hate science."
Gwen: "Shut up dweeb my hero is coming."
Jay: "I thought I was your hero."
Gwen: "No, I meant Dr. Harrison Wells; he is a scientific mastermind."
Jay: "Oh, ok."
Dr. Wells: "I'm Harrison Wells. Founder of S.T.A.R. Labs."
Gwen: *Squeals*
We were shown into the first lab-the bio-tech lab. We only had seen for a brief period of time before they told us to get out because supplies were missing and so was the scientist.
3 hours later...
Dr. Wells: "I see a bright future in you kids of today." Right as he said that a tiger entered the building.
Tiger: "Hello, Harrison." It said with a maniacal voice.
Dr. Wells: "Animo?"
Tiger Animo: "The one and only."
Dr. Wells: "You continued with your plan didn't you and thanks to those Morphogenetic Field hosts you can transform yourself." The tiger transformed into a muscular tanned man with white hair and yellow eyes. (D'Void Dr. Animo) He had an Orange Stealth Ultralink combined with a Nemetrix pattern on it, on his chest.
Animo: "I wanted power. I wanted to become the thing I studied for so long. But you didn't allow me. So I decided to take in my own hands." He said whilst putting fear into Dr. Wells. He transformed into a T-Rex and tried to attack Dr. Wells but Dr. Wells jumped through the window to be rescued by the Flash (Wally West – Red suit and blue lightning/the white one).
Flash: "You always need saving, huh"
Dr. Wells: "Take him down!"
Flash: "Ok, Ok! You don't need to be so rude about it." He said with a carefree tone. Inside the building I was distracting the T-Rex.
Jay: "Hey dino-breath! Come get me!" Animo turned around responding to his animal instincts.
T-Rex: *Growls*
Jay: "Guys, run!"
Kai: "Don't have to tell me twice!" The gang then ran out of the building back to the RV.
Jay: "It's Hero Time!" I then slammed the Architrix down and transformed into Kickin' Hawk and my uniform was just black pants with my colour scheme.
Kickin' Hawk: "Oh yeah. Let's go!" I jumped up then roundhouse kicked the T-Rex's eye. It then stumbled back a bit them transformed into a tiger. Then he was rapidly punched by a blur with blue lightning streaks behind it. When the blur stopped, I noticed it was the Flash.
Kickin' Hawk: "Your the Flash!"
Flash: "In the Flash." He said with a jokingly tone.
Kickin' Hawk: "Bad joke."
Flash: "Yeah, I realized after. So, you're the new Powered-Human shapeshifter?"
Kickin' Hawk: "I'm not powered, I got my powers via unforeseen circumstances."
Flash: "Ok, so do we take him down together." I nodded and made a Kickin' Hawk's chicken cluck.
Kickin' Hawk: "Let's go." we drew our attention to the tiger which turned into a Mammoth.
Flash ran around it to distract it. I then jumped up, and tried to superman punch the Mammoth but it turned into a snake. Flash then caught it and was bit by it, then knocked unconscious by the venom.
Kickin' Hawk: "Looks like it's just me."
The snake turned into a velicoraptor and charged at me. I dodged it but by a few inches. It charged at me again and it hit the Architrix causing me to transform into XLR8.
XLR8: "Can't catch me!" I then slammed the Architrix and transformed into Humongosaur. It charged at me but I hit into the wall and then stomped on it until it transformed back into Animo. I reverted to normal and I fainted due to over usage of the Architrix.
An hour later...
I woke up in the RV with a letter on my chest.
Hey Metamorphose
Next time don't faint and leave yourself in public area where your identity can be seen. Btw I'm the one who brought you back home. Next time you're around just say hello.
p.s you do have powered genes in you, you just have to unlock em. JK.
Jay: "Whoa!"
Max: "Finally you're awake. Your dinner was getting cold."
Ben: "At least it wasn't so bad."
Kai: "Best meal ever!"
Jay: "Let's see if your right." I dug into the food, "Mhm, Mhm"
Max: "What can I say, good?"
In the Rooter's Ship...
Servantis: "Let's recruit this Animo for the Rooters."
Aggregor: "What a wonderful idea. We could upgrade that Matrix Core – Ultralink he created to store energy from the Red."
Phil: "No, he's too volatile but it's your call Proctor."
Servantis: "Locate him and teleport him here immediately."
Leander: "Located and teleporting now."
Right then and there Animo was teleported from his prison cell in Iron Heights to the Rooters teleportation hub.
Servantis: "Welcome to the Rooters." Servantis held out his hand waiting for a handshake and Leander holding a Proto-Tech Armour. Animo reciprocated the handshake and gave them a sinister grin.
