"Kacchan..?" Deku whimpered as he walked toward the unmoving figure on the ground. Blood pooled along his chest, his All Might card resting beside him.
All-For-One smirked, "What's wrong, Hero Deku? Did I strike a nerve?"
Deku fell to his knees beside Kacchan and gently took him into his arms. Bakugous' face looked up at the sky, dull eyes blank.
"Kacchan…" Green lightning and a black aura started forming around the teen as he clutched the body tighter.
"Kacchan..!" The lightning began to get brighter, Black Whip began to form, tendrils flinging in all directions.
"KACCHAN!" Deku faced the sky, screaming bloody murder, tears falling down his face. His eyes were nonexistent, only filled with green, rage-filled light.
Aizawa, Best Jeanist, and Lemillion gaped at the display of power. All-For-One continued to smirk, gazing in triumph at the grief-stricken teen.
Deku still had enough self-aware to lay Bakugou down gently. He stood up, head bowed. Without a word, he teleported to where All-For-One was and began fighting.
Aizawa and the others rushed toward Bakugou, hoping and praying that there was something that they could do.

Bakugou gripped his fist as he watched the nerd fight. He and the All-Might visage gazed at a type of screen that could let him see what was happening.
He needs me…I can't quit now!
He crunched his All Might card and let it fall. He turned toward All Might. The visage gave him a nod and the golden man placed a hand on his heart. Bakugou turned and walked away from the screen.
I'm going to live!
Aizawa and the others watched in amazement as a golden light seemed to surround Bakugou's torn heart.
I'm going to be Number One!
Bakugou's limp hand twitched. His heart was mending. His skin cells were multiplying at a rapid rate.
I'm going to catch up to HIM!
Bakugou smirked as he ran toward the bright light that awaited him.
I'm going to be a Pro!
Light filled Bakugou's previously dull eyes.
I'm going to be Deku's hero partner!
The previously dead teen took a breath, much to the shock of the other heroes. He stood up and looked upward to where Deku and All-For-One were fighting.
Best Jeanist reached a hand forward, "B-Bakugou, Deku's fine. You need to recover from whatever just happened to you."
Bakugou just huffed, "I died and came back, that's what happened. Now if you excuse me, I got a job to finish." Using his explosions, he propelled to where the duo was.

"You know…maybe if you had used your full power earlier on, your friend might still be alive." Deku still said nothing, just continued to throw everything he had at the creature. All-For-One grunted at the impact of the Black Whip. He reached out his hand to try to destroy it, but Deku emitted Smoke Screen before he could.

Deku was inside One-For-All, sitting with his arms around his knees, crying.
Begging for the pain in his very soul to be gone.
"Hey Nerd."
Deku looked up, hoping against hope, he wouldn't see Kacchan there. Because if he was, that meant he was too late. That Kacchan was-
It was a cloudy visage of Kacchan, very similar to All Might. He was bending forward, holding out his hand. "Come on Nerd. Can't quit now. I'm with you."
Deku sniffled and nodded. He took the cloudy hand.

"Hey! All-For-One junior! Take this!" An explosion hit the villain on the side of his face, shock the only thing keeping his body from defending himself from the blast. Deku turned in shock, still surrounded by green and black.
Kacchan threw himself at Deku, hugging him, "Izuku, please calm down!" Deku stared straight ahead, glowing orbs in place of eyes looking ahead. Slowly, tears began falling down his face and the glow faded, replaced with his regular green eyes.
"Kacchan, you…you're here…"
The fiery teen smirked, "No one decides when I die, Deku. Only I decide when I die!"
Deku, despite the situation, giggled, "Yeah…Kacchan's amazing."
Kacchan smirked even more fiercely, "Your darn right!"
"HOW?!" Both boys turned toward the villain, who was glaring openly at Bakugou, "How?! I KILLED YOU! I know I did!"
Bakugou grunted, "Nah…but I have to admit, you were pretty close." He turned toward Deku, "Let's beat this loser, Deku!"
Deku nodded, grin bright, "Yes, Kacchan!"
And now, the real battle begins…
