S1 EP3: Team Tennyson
Hey everyone, Jay here. Yesterday I met Wally West the Flash and it was pretty epic. I even got my first epic villain takedown. I just hope that today doesn't sound as boring as Max is making it.
Max: "Rise and shine kids." He said whilst making some pancakes in his pyjamas.
Jay: "Isn't it too early for this?" I said noticing that the sun was only beginning to rise.
Jay: "It's... IT'S ONLY 6:30!"
Max: "Yep. Perfect time to start your Plumber training." He then started whistling and continued cooking. I went back to sleep.
Ben: *Yawns* "Morning Grandpa. What's for breakfast?"
Max: "Bacon pancakes."
Ben: "Sweet." He got out of his bunk then woke the rest of us up.
Jay: "For the sake of every living being, could you wake me up at a normal time for summer break?"
Kai: "I'm gonna have to agree." She said whilst still on the couch with her eyes closed.
Gwen: *Yawns* "Wake me up later." She moaned.
Max: "Well, I was thinking of training you to be Plumbers but since everyone is still sleepy we'll start later but with intense training."
Jay: "Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. I'm up for some training with my transformations." I said as I got out the bed.
Gwen: "You boys go do some training. Meanwhile we sleep." She said as she laid in bed with her eyes closed.
Kai: "Fine. I'm coming to train." She moaned.
After eating we all then headed into the woods for some training.
Jay: "So what's on the agenda?"
Max: "Hand to hand combat."
Kai: "Of course it is." She said sarcastically.
Max: "Kai and Ben. Both of you will be fighting Jay." He then sat down with his legs crossed and took on a meditation pose. "Use the environment to your advantage."
Jay: "That sounds a bit cliché, but let's do this." I took a karate back stance. Ben cracked his knuckles and Kai took a natural stance.
Ben: "Here we go." Ben charged at me. He tried to punch me in the gut but I blocked. I then axe kicked him on the shoulder. Kai then came from behind me. Both her and I went for a front kick and we cancelled each others attack out. Ben tried flying kicking me but I dodged and he ended up hitting Kai. They both then slowly got up. Ben leapt at me then tried superman punching me. I judo flipped him in mid air.
Ben: "Go ahead, I'll catch up later." He said very tiredly. Kai stared me in the eyes.
Kai: "So it always ends like this." She picked up a stick then used it as a bo-staff. I then charged at her and karate chopped the stick in half. She tried kicking me but I back flipped away from her. I then ran around the woods, hiding behind the trees to distract her.
Jay: "Catch me, if you can!" I echoed into the woods.
Kai: *Grunts* "You twerp!" She then ran into the woods. She searched for me for a few minutes. I then surprised her by tripping her then pinning her to the ground.
Max: "Excellent, you still have good fighting skills in your human form."
Jay: "Well, yeah I do karate at school."
Kai: "Well that's new."
We headed back to the RV after a few hours of training. Gwen had just got out the shower.
Gwen: "Took you long enough."
Kai: "Hey, that training was crazy."
Gwen: "Did Jay, transform into any new form?"
Jay: "Nah, we had some unarmed combat. Max was going on about 'using the environment to your advantage'."
Ben: "Best training yet."
Max: "It gets better." Max then created an orb in his palm. It was light blue and it was simultaneously rotating in all directions. He continued, "Incredible isn't it?"
Ben: "Grandpa, since when have you been able to do that?"
Max: "Since before you were born. Like I said, I've been to many planets and from most, I've learnt a lot from them." The orb then dissipated.
Ben: "Will you teach us how to do that?"
Max: "In time." He said whilst nodding. He continued, "Today I was thinking we stop in Genesis City before we head to New York tomorrow."
Gwen: "Wait isn't that your ex-hometown before you moved back to Bellwood, grandpa?"
Max: "Yes, just want to check in before I sell my apartment."
Meanwhile in a Plumber ship (OV Style Ship) …
Voice: "Alan, any signs of the Rooters or the Architrix?"
Alan: "No, but I have picked up the bio-signs of Max Tennyson and the Architrix?"
Voice: "Alan, set a course for his location."
Alan: "Yes, Magister Brannigan."
(Brannigan has his same design from UAF and Alan has his design from OV and he'll be 11, same age as Jay.)
The ship then entered the Earth's atmosphere slowly until they spotted us and they followed behind with the ship in camo-mode.
Meanwhile in the RV...
Jay: "Max, you really haven't told us about your days as a Plumber, like your partners and your adventures."
Max: "What is there to tell?"
Kai: "You can tell us about our Grandpa or your adventures together."
Max: "Like I said, story for another ti-" A laser hit the back of the RV and we skid onto the side of the road.
Kai and Ben: "What was that?"
Max: "Enemy fire!"
In the Ship...
Brannigan: "Why'd you hit the vehicle?"
Alan: "Sorry, I was trying to activate the tractor?" He pressed another button the the ship became visible again.
Outside...
Jay: "Is that a spaceship?"
Max: "Yes, it's a Plumbers' ship. But whose?" The platform the hovered down and out came Alan and Brannigan.
Brannigan: "Hello, Max."
Max: "Brannigan!"
Brannigan: "Sure is." Max then walked up to him and gave him a bro-hug.
Max: "It's been a while."
They caught up with each other. We then went to Max's apartment and Brannigan got straight to business.
Brannigan: "The Rooters are after the Architrix, Nemetrix and the Omnitrix. They have the Nemetrix so far."
Max: "They got Animo!"
Jay: "Whoa. Whoa. Whoa, how? When?"
Brannigan: "They teleported him, on his way to Iron Heights?"
Alan: "We believe they'll use their tech and Animo's tech to turn him into a living Matrix Device."
Kai: "English please."
Ben: "Basically they're gonna merge the Matrix Device to his biology. Allowing him to interact and control it like how you would with a limb." We all looked at Ben with awe. "What, I play a lot of videogames."
Brannigan: "Their main plan is to get the schematics of each and merge them with those of the Black Vortex and the Nexus Infinite Gauntlet, to create a device that would allow Servantis to challenge the Universal Council and rule the entire Universe. But he wouldn't stop there he would continue to the Multiverse."
Max: "But that would make him the ultimate being."
Brannigan: "Yes, that is why we've come to destroy the Omnitrix and Architrix, once and for all."
Max: "Kids leave the room. Alan show 'em around your ship. NOW!"
We left to the ship and heard them arguing in the apartment.
Alan: "So you guys wanna see our artifact collection?"
Kai and Jay: "Of course, we live for this!"
We entered the ships artifact gallery and we started playing around with some of the stuff. Alan came over and stopped us from playing with some rings, an OV style Ultimatrix and a Matrix Core.
Alan: "Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Don't play with those rings, they can unleash a person's space-time potential."
Ben: "English please?"
Alan: "Basically, if you wear those rings, you'll be able to harness the powers of your alternate selves, past selves, future selves and any version of yourself in space-time."
Jay: "Why are there 10 0f them?"
Alan: "Because the original ring was split into ten. They didn't want any single being to become a god of possibilities or something. Each ring only allows you to access a tenth of your power and the more rings you wear the more power you can harness."
Ben: "Gimme one." He then started walking towards the display of the rings, trying to grab one.
Alan: "Nah, dude." He then pushed Ben away.
While we were viewing the display, something burst through the roof of the ship. We got to the piloting bay and then came out a woman from the smoke. She had a crystal on her forehead and she was purple. She was 6'4, petite, she had long waist length white hair and a resemblance to Eda from the Owl House. She was wearing orange military boots, black army cargo pants, orange mark 6 spartan armour torso as well as arms and a visor.
Woman: "Where is Brannigan?" She shouted at us.
Alan: "Ava?" She then nodded and shot a flash grenade directly in his eyes. *Scream of pain from Alan*
Kai: "Are you ok?" Gwen ran over to him, he was unconscious. I then activated the Architrix and transformed. I emerged as Cannonbolt. His yellow armour was replaced with light blue.
Cannonbolt: "Take him to the med-bay." Kai and Gwen dragged him into the med-bay. "Ben, get any artifact and help me out!", I continued, then Ben ran to the artifact room. "Let's get this battle started!" I charged at her then punched her in the face.
Ava: "I thought Arburian Pelarota's were extinct? Oh well." She then shot a missile at me from her forehead. The missile hit me from point blank. I then rolled back and transformed into All Might (Buff Form) but with a light blue, black and white color scheme.
Architrix: "Quirked Human – Unlocked – All Quirks Unlocked."
All Might: "I'll call you Quirklite." I then jumped at her and punched her armour but the armour absorbed the impact and released a pulse, knocking me back.
Ava: "Ah, a Homo Quirkeon. This just got interesting."
Quirklite: "YEAH IT HAS." I then shot fire out of my hands, but the armour created a shield to block. I created a clone of myself. My clone shot electricity at her whilst I shot fire.
Ava: "I have armour on me. Nothing can hurt me." My clone started to melt away then I transformed into Upgrade, except the green was replaced by blue.
Upgrade: "Thanks for the tip." I then merged with the armour and shot out some missiles into the air wasting its ammo. I jumped off of it and I stood there as a Mjolnir Mark 7 armour with an Upgrade pattern on it.
Upgrade: "This looks sweet." I shot a missile at her but her shield blocked it. She shot a laser at me but I dodged. Ben then ran in with a Black Vortex ring on his index finger.
Ben: "Wonder what this does." He then shot an energy bolt at the shield and it dissipated. "Whoa." He said.
Upgrade: "Dial it down a notch dude." He then shot another energy bolt at her and her armour burst off her.
Ava: "Have mercy on me, Great One."
Ben: "NO!" He said with a deep voice that was unlike his own. He then blasted Ava from point blank range and knocked her unconscious.
Alan: "No! He has worn the Black Vortex ring. The only way for someone to wear it without being overshadowed by the Black Vortex itself is if they prove themselves to it."
Black Vortex Ben: "The power of this form is near endless!"
Upgrade: "Ben, snap out of its me, Jay." I then reverted to my human form.
Jay: "Remember I kicked your butt this morning!"
Ben: "You didn't kick my butt, you judo flipped me." He said in his normal voice but it seemed like he was fighting for control over his body.
Jay: "Take off the ring!" He then took it off but he struggled to do so.
Ben: *Hyperventilating noises* "That was awesome!"
Alan: "Never again, you could've gotten yourself killed."
Brannigan and Max walked in noticing Ava.
Brannigan: "Talk!" Alan then explained everything that happened with fear in his voice.
Max: "That was reckless of all of you!"
Jay: "It's not their fault. It's mine. I'm the one who got them in the battle in the first place. I'm the one who didn't think of calling you." I said regretfully.
Max: "Call next time." He said with a furious tone.
Brannigan: "As for you, Cadet. You will receive more intense training as well as more handicap training."
Alan: "Yes, sir!" He said like a soldier.
Brannigan: "I guess you were right Magister, the kid is responsible enough to wield the Architrix." He then walked over to the unconscious Ava and said, "Huh, the lieutenant thinking they were ready for Magister." He walked over to Max and saluted.
Brannigan: "Max, think on the offer I gave you." He then walked over to me and said, "Kid you've got the skills to be a Plumber. Call me when you want to enlist."
We then walked out the ship and headed back to the RV.
Jay: "So what was that offer he gave you?"
Max: "He wants me to build a team of the next generation of Plumbers, that's why he has Alan."
Gwen: "What's with the name Magister?"
Kai: "It's a rank."
Gwen: "Oh!"
Jay: "So what's next?'
Max: "New York!"
