Chapter 1: A Desperate Fight

The Overseer stood up from his throne, then the door that Hikigaya destroyed reconstructed in an instant, trapping the trio with the Overseer in the throne room of the tower. The throne room is dark, only faint light coming from the small windows, it has two sets of pillars coming from the door to the throne, there are unlit torches in each pillar but with a snap from the Overseer's finger, all of the torches became lit with crimson flames.

The Overseer slightly elevated his black staff then slammed it in to the floor, creating a wave of red flame moving to the trio's direction. Yukinoshita moved quickly and extended her right arm forward with open palms, a blue light appeared in her hands and the three orbs hovering around her, then blue crystals came bursting from the ground acting as a wall to protect the three of them from the flames, then after successfully blocking the Overseer's attack, she closed her right fist, causing the crystals she created to float, then with the same hand she pointed at the Overseer's chest and the crystal shards started flying to the Overseer's direction.

The Overseer raised the black staff in his left hand then extended his right hand forward with palm open, his staff glowed red and multiple red orbs came out flying from his right palm, destroying the crystal shards sent to him, but from the smoke created by the collision of their magics came out Hayama with his super speed running for the Overseer's head, his golden sword emitting golden light leaves a trail of light following his movements, he swung his sword with his both hands for more power but its seems to have done nothing because the Overseer easily blocked Hayama's attack with his black staff, then the Overseer teleported at Hayama's back, swinging his staff aiming for Hayama's head but before hitting his target the Overseer was forced to teleport away from Hayama because of a green beam that almost hitted him, the Overseer then looked at his shooter, Hikigaya extending left arm with the gauntlet with a green magic circle in it, then Hikigaya started firing more but the Overseer just evaded them with teleportation and then countered with his own beams, but then blue crystals came out of the ground trapping the Overseer's feet, immobilizing him, then Yukinoshita yelled "Now Hayama!" Hayama then charged at the Overseed from the back hoping for a vertical slice but a magical barrier stopped Hayama's blade from touching the Overseer's head, then the Overseer summoned a pillar of red flame around him, causing Hayama to jump back and melting the crystals trapping him, then Yukinoshita's blue orbs started orbiting around the Overseer while firing beams at him, which the Overseer all evaded with quick succession of teleportation.

Then Hayama tightened his grip to his sword and the runes in its golden blade glows blue, he swung his sword, releasing a blue crescent beam from it, the Overseer didn't noticed it because he was busy evading Yukinoshita's orbs, the Overseer was hitted by the beam that came from Hayama's sword and thrown away to the wall making a small crater on it. Before the Overseer could even recover, Hikigaya used his flying spell to quickly move in front of the Overseer then with the black gauntlet in his left arm, he threw a solid punch in the Overseer's face, still not over Hikigaya readies himself for another attack, the book in his chain necklace started to turn its pages then stopped at a specific page, a blade made out of green light started to form at Hikigaya's gauntlet, then he used it to slice the Overseer's chest, leaving a diagonal cut in it.

Hoping for landing another attack, Hikigaya swung his energy blade again but canceled his attack when he noticed that the Overseer is releasing black mist from his body, I feel that I should not be touching that mist Hikigaya thought. The Overseer then moved the black mist to his staff, then he swinged his now mist covered staff, making the black mist to spread to the room. Yukinoshita then got what the Overseer's plan with the mist and yelled "Hikigaya-kun, Hayama get in here!" as a response, the two quickly ran to Yukinoshita's side, the Overseer then created a red flame in his right palm and threw it into the black mist, as a reaction to the red fire, the black mist started exploding, but fortunately Hikigaya and Hayama reached Yukinoshita in time, then Yukinoshita created a crystal barrier around them before the explosion reached them.

The explosion destroyed the walls and the roof of the top floor, exposing the main portal above the top floor, after deactivating the crystal barrier incasing them, Yukinoshita saw the Overseer, the Overseer then summoned multiple red magic circles in the air, all pointing at the three, with a light stomp with his black staff, multiple magical red beams came out of the magic circles aiming at the trio, Hayama then swung his sword to the Overseer's direction, creating a magical blue Shockwave that dispersed the beams.

Yukinoshita then raised her right arm, creating gigantic crystal shards above the Overseer, then as Yukinoshita lowered her hand the gigantic crystal shards started raining down upon the Overseer, to escape the attack the Overseer then used flying magic and flew in front of the main portal, he started to incantate some spell but is interupted when two green beams pierced his body, one in his stomach and the other one pierced his right shoulder making it immobile, then Yukinoshita casted some magic then touched the ground, a big magic circle appeared on the ground and a huge crystal shard came bursting out of the ground going up to the sky and stabbing the Overseer into chest, but the Overseer endured the pain with regeneration magic and continued incantating his interupted spell.

Hayama then used the huge crystal shard that is stabbed to the Overseer's chest as a bridge running for the Overseer's head with Hikigaya running in his back. As Hayama approaches the Overseer he tightened his grip in his sword and its blade started glowing a sprial of sky blue and gold, then swung it to the Overseer's head only to meet the Overseer's staff, then Hayama jumped back giving way to Hikigaya with a green energy blade coming out of his gauntlet, the Overseer was shocked and unable to do a thing his left hand was cutted off by Hikigaya, going for another swing, Hikigaya intended to finish the fight by beheading the Overseer but the Overseer opened his mouth and a red beam came out of it, pushing Hikigaya and Hayama off the huge crystal they are standing.

The Overseer then used regeneration magic on his immobilized right shoulder and healed it, them with his right arm he started to write magical red runes in the air and finished incantating his spell that is interupted earlier, causing the big portal in his back to glow and grow wide, making way for a big and terrifying black dragon, it has two long black horns, red eyes, a wing span that could block out sunlight, a really long tail, it's claws were blood red and it's body was emitting black mist.

The Overseer then pointed at the battle below the tower and ordered the black dragon "Incinirate them" to with the dragon answered by giving a terrifying roar. The black dragon dived through the air and started descending to the battle field, Hayama then chased the dragon and jumped from the top floor of the tower and landed on dragon's back then stabbed it repeatedly hurting the dragon severely and making it crush un to the ground, Zaimokuza and his fellow wizards saw this and helped taking down the dragon.

At the Human camp-

Yui and Yumiko are both resting, they are both covered by bandages instead of armor, they are both looking around the camp with a sad face as they see their comrades dying in pain, then the witch Saki approached them and said "We succeeded in escorting your army back to the camp so me and my witches will be going back to the frontlines" to which Yumiko answered by saying "Don't die out there Kawasaki" while not looking at Saki. Saki then flew away with her broom.

A knight then ran up to Yui and yelled "General Yuigahama the reinforcements from the capital is here!". That made her smile but when she saw the approaching reinforcements her smile was replaced by sadness and said "I requested for seven battalions, not three" the captain of the reinforcements then talked and said "The royal capital is being flooded with monsters right now his is all the kingdom could spare" Yui understood the situation and said "Well we just had to make off with this number, well be returning to battle a dusk!".
